Larry Croft: Somewhere between 12 and 15 years ago my 1995 S10 needed a full engine rebuild. I happened to be working on a job at FSU & had my truck towed to Nathans. Being the very best auto repair shop in the entire area (IMO) Nathan told me my engine needed a full rebuild. He strongly recommended Moffitt Machine Co. Moffitt did the work and for over 250 thousand miles my engine has been literally PERFECT running. No oil burning no leaks excellent performance best MPG I had ever gotten. If i was not always traveling and in a hurry (80 mph avg on Interstates) my 4 cylinder would probably have lasted longer than 250K - but now i hear a rod knock indicating i must have spun a rod bearing. It is not too bad but i am not going to risk it. I live in Georgia and my ace mechanic here told me to let whomever rebuilt my 2.2L inline 4 cylinder chevy S10 motor DO IT AGAIN. He also recognized the excellent performance with the long hard miles i had put on my engine. Long story longer I live about 300 miles away from Moffitt & i would. not let any other shop rebuild my engine. There will be a 6 week wait - but when I want the proven best - so i am willing to wait. Extremely understaffed, Soldiers do yourselves a favor find a real reputable shop. Please play-close attention to these reviews, it will save you unnecessary stress. If you do decide to go there, if a part is claimed to have been ordered from any parts catalog, call the number and verify, you could end up with a knock off part prone for failure as I found out after 3 months of waiting for my drivable vehicle to now to no where close to road worthy.

Fernando Mejia: I had 4 blocks sleeved at this place and 3 of them fail. 2 of them were over bore so there was a gap between the block and the sleeve at the top and one of them looked normal but a sleeve dropped because they cut to deep in to the block. No solution was offered whatsoever and the guy that did the job had the audacity to say he was the best in town. Maybe they are good doing other projects but not good at sleeving an aluminum block.Update: The good old blame it on the customer trick. Good thing you haven’t done any more aluminum blocks. I guess Darton sleeves are not that good for you. Your establishment ruined 3 of the 4 blocks we brought you and that’s a fact, learn to take responsibility for what you did wrong or at least reimburse the customer for your mistakes if your not going to do anything about it.

Burke Wayment: I've taken 2 different heads to them great customer service. I tried to bring Hal all the parts he called said my intake valves were the wrong ones. He worked with me to get the correct ones and get my head done correctly no issues. The head looks like brand new when he's done and torqued down so perfectly. I usually have compression of a broken in motor after only the first test start.

Timothy Maki: Dropped off my truck needing a new drive shaft around 1100, got the call at 4:30 it was ready fur pick up. Fixed the vibrating problem in my truck instantly. Got a nice, new steel shaft now instead of that POS aluminum one for a great price. Even gave me new U Joints for free. Just some good ol' boys. Will definitely be using them from now on.
