Just recently on my last visit I was talking to an employee and then he immediately helps someone else when I was trying to get a card. Kenton: One of the best up and coming Warhammer stores in the area! Owner is super cool, prices are DIRT CHEAP to rent a table and play. Heck you can even rent an army is you wanna try out a new faction or if your friend doesn't have one yet!The DnD room is cool and provides a nice place to sit and play some classic DnD without having people always looking in or hearing your Role-Playing.Has drinks, food, and snacks at decent prices and the guy sells models at a really great price compared to other shops. They are talking about getting a 3d Printing Farm and if that happens... oh MAN this store is gonna be the new stop for local Warhammer and Wargaming with your friends!

joe bumbera: As soon as you walk in you are instantly greeted and welcomed in. I myself have no idea how to play Warhammer, so I had questions not only was I shown around but was given little lessons on how the painting of the figures work. I Bought my first piece to look at it and get ideas from. Which they do sell used pieces making it easy for someone like myself to pick up and start playing. As well they have a D&D room and room for those that like to play Magic the gathering. Definitely a place I can see myself going over and over again!!!!

Nicodemous: Awesome Hobby shop! More eclectic than most, they have a little of everything. GunPla, Ships, Planes, Swords, Boardgames, Table Top RPG, Warhammer 40K, fairy Faye figurines, gem stone rings. Everything you need to paint miniatures or start a DND campaign. And for each nichefandom they have at least one high grade product such as a perfect grade Gundam or high valuable LOTR prop.If you want something more modern check HobbyTown a cross on the other side of Fayetteville. As they have RC cars and things like mixed in with what they have here.

John Parker: Called the store and a lady answered and I was looking for commander deck for my friend and they didn't have it which is fine but the lady was rude and rushing me off the phone and I had some other questions for her to see if they had some certain decks in stock and she seemed like she didn't care and just wanted to get me off the phone. Not really great customer service, doesn't want to take the time and see if there's anything else a customer wants before hanging up. No thank you for calling or anything like that.

They told me I had to call the manufacturer. What kind of store does not back up their products. And they get upset when you tell them that you can find better prices online.

Ham I Am: To whoever decides to buy anything Warhammer related from this store, think again. Many items are up to $100 more than the retail price!! Check on Amazon, Gamers Guild or Warhammer store before you even think of purchasing something from this place. Especially soldiers, don't get robbed for convenience (close to base). Ralf Flores: I had been coming here for years due to the closeness to the base and friendly staff, but a recent purchase really irked me when I later realized they had sold it to me for nearly twice the price. This led down a rabbit hole of me investigating some of my previous purchases and realized they basically mark up the price anywhere from 25%-90% of market value. I really liked coming here, but now I feel that they are taking advantage of service members simply because they are the nearest hobby shop in town.

Andrew Rodriguez: I’ve been coming to The Hobbit 10+ years, and never had any issues. In fact I usually recommend this shop to any new comer to FB. However I recently dropped off a FPLA map to get laminated prior to JRTC. I got the map back and the Training area (box) was cut in half with half on the front and half on the back of the map. Ok still no big deal. I get another map and figure if I explain that this product did not meet my expectations they would redo it so I could actually use it. I assumed that they would be reasonable because it looked like an honest mistake. Well I go in to cordially explain and the map guy begins raising his voice saying they changed to map and it’s the maps fault?! So I get over it, and we deescalate because I still need a map. I explain what I need on the second map. He says ok takes my info, and charges me full price again, not even offering a discount or a sorry. Nothing. I leave and come to google to write a review, explaining my frustration, then I get a message that he can’t laminate my map to my specifications after reading my review. I am really disappointed in the customer service especially because I have been doing business there for years, and dropped off more maps than I can count.

Nicodemous: Great Hobby Shop! Definitely upper tier and modern as far as inventory goes. Loads of GunPla (Perfect Grades go fast check their FB page as they post shipmentsinventory their first). RC cars for days! And table top games like Warhammer 40K wnd anything you need for figure painting, plus loaded of other kids more aimed at just kids like science kits and rubber band guns. If you want older style hobbies and a mix of new check Hobbit on the other side of town for things like ships and planes but also GunPla and etc.

How inconvenient could they get. As much as I like their selection, I'll buy my paints online where I actually know the price first.

Came to the counter to pay and I guess I wasn't seen even though they were right there. The middle aged lady had earphones in. So I walked around and then came back.Gave my number and asked about rewards, because after 8 years, you'd think I'd have racked up something? I've been coming here since '15 for all my Traxxas needs and Gundam stuff.After dropping $40 on a Gundam kit and asking about my "rewards", I was mid sentence interrupted for her to take a call and deal with another customer over the phone? After 5 minutes or so of just standing there, she finishes her call and it felt bothersome to even continue to ask about my account.Come to find out, they typed my email in wrong and all these years, nothing for rewards. So I asked how it works and what about past stuff and I was informed of pretty much nothing and I suggested I'd just Google it myself since she wasn't of much help.I've kept coming back because Darren? was a blast to chat about models and gundams. He's since left but I kept coming for Gundam. Ive always dealt with Kevin or another younger kid without issue. After today, I think I'll stick to online kits and parts. This wasn't my first encounter with this lady. Cheers.
