Sondra Thompson: I sat with Richard and his team in December of 2021 for a house I was closing on about a month later.  We did a walk through, designed each room, discussed exactly what I wanted, and a deadline for completion was established.  After repeated setbacks, wrong orders being placed for most areas, lots of excuses, and an overall lack of care, my deadline passed without the work being finished.  Lots of items were not ordered or were ordered incorrectly, not to mention the haphazard scheduling for different subcontractors and the general lack of consideration for the scope of the job, and this caused obvious friction between myself and most of the employees who work for Richard.  His endless supply of excuses is only eclipsed by his overall disrespectful demeanor, and he slips back and forth between those two characteristics so often, it is hard to figure out what is going on, communication-wise.  There are a multitude of examples of the absolutely inept manner this job was shadowed with, but it can pretty much be summed up by saying I lost all trust in this company with the blame-shifting and the lack of appropriate communication when I realized they were not going to be able to complete the renovations in time for my family to arrive, despite all promises and assurances to the contrary, and in fact, we were not able to actually move into our house until August 2022.  If you plan to hire this company, I suggest going over your contract with a fine tooth comb, ensure that everything you talk with them about is listed as by-line items so that they don’t come back and say that they’re not covering what was discussed, and make damn sure that you are going to be in residence during each day the company comes out to do work, otherwise you will be stuck in a never-ending cycle of excuses, sub-par work, or incorrectly installed appliances, cabinets, bathtubs, tile, etc. finally completed the job 11 months later.Services:Tile work installation,Install flooring,Countertops,Bathroom remodeling,Fan installation,Basement remodeling,Marble sink installation repair,Remodeling,Drywall installation,Plumbing fixture installation,Shower walls,Granite countertop installation,Home addition construction,Kitchen remodeling

Phyllis Magnuson: GO SOMEWERE ELSE! I AM WARNING YOU. They did not follow the blueprint, they put granite in my bathrooms I did not pick out, and OH, they cut granite in my house, leaving a fine powder all over my house. If you don't know, granite contains Silica, which is like asbestos....stays in your lungs forever, possibly causing Cancer. We had to leave our house until it could be cleaned to be safe. We started our project in Nov of 2021 and it was not finished until April of 2022. Only the Framing Crew did it right. We have had to get a plumber in our house this week, (June 21st) because the plumber did shotty work and our new dishwasher doesn't work...from day one. Come to find out the plumber was the owner' friend, NICK. Our experience with NICK...arrogant and sarcastic, is the PROBLEM. Poor communication and no communication between contractors. They did however enjoy fishing in my pond and working about 4 hours per day. We cannot install our dishwasher (ordered in March) because the plumber used cheap materials and today, have to get a professional plumber to come fix Creative Stone's mess. Keith Perkins: Creative Stone took over $50,000 from us. Project left unfinished. Destroyed our home and now we are left with a gutted home with a February Harnett County inspection report citing issues. That's it. No refund. Items they claim purchased one year ago out of the monies, we've never laid eyes on. Don't do business with this company and risk this happening to you. This home has been in my family for over 70 years and was built for my grandmother. They don't care the pain that comes from experiencing a loss like this. They have our money. We were crazy enough to trust them and good riddance. They have moved on. From the beginning, Sherry and Richard helped me find the perfect counter that was in budget and that met my family needs. I chose Montauk quartz. Then we chose a sink. I highly recommend not going with a single bowl sink and so I chose the 60/40 elkay sink in silver mist with the aqua divider. Favorite feature. Installation was the best experience. The men were professional and so helpful. They ran into an issue with my backsplash that was already installed was just a hair too low and the countertops could not slide underneath. They immediately helped and fixed the issue without any hesitation without damaging anything! I am so glad I chose Creative Stone. Highly recommend. Len Love: I will rate the completion of my kitchen remodel & archway a 5+. My only complaint was some of the staff was unprofessional & had no regards to my items. I would say please have them to cover your items & floor where they are working. I would think I shouldn’t have to tell them to do that. The biggest problem I had was the time & lack of consideration of my time. Yes they would tell you they are coming but when? Sometimes I waited all day & no show or no call until I notified the office or they would show after 1pm & take up your time all evening. The worst thing is the Grantie I picked out at office showroom is not what I got. After going to warehouse & they steadily trying to convince me that’s what I picked out, I finally accepted a granite top close enough to original I had chosen. When I showed the two pieces to other people, they agreed with me it was different. I will say if you want that same piece make sure it’s tagged & removed from show room with your name on it. Please take pictures.I can say my complaints were addressed with Richard, owner, & necessary steps were taken to complete my job. I am very happy with the outcome. Rating the professionalism I will give it a 3 but the work is outstanding after he bought in the necessary changes. Thank you office staff for your professionalism & handling of each complaint. Marina Matticola: I don't even know where to begin... This company is so unorganized it is ridiculous. First, when we set-up our consultation, the person didn't show up and I did not get a call until 1.5 hours after they were supposed to be there. When they finally did call me, I told them do not come and left them a very bad review on Google. It was only after the manager called me about my review(otherwise I would have never heard anything back), and she talked me into giving them a second chance, HUGE MISTAKE. When I went to pick out our floor tiles, we selected a beautiful tile and then I was told that it would be about 2 weeks before they showed up and then we get a call 5 weeks later saying their vendor discontinued those tiles, 5 WEEKS!!!! We picked out a second tile, get a call the very next day that those were discontinued as well😒 so they really need to check their stock to make sure they actually have what they say they have . We were promised that we would pick out our own slab of granite-that never happened. Then we had appointments set for our kitchen remodel and construction workers did not show, no call, nothing so my husband took a whole day off from work for absolutely nothing. I was truly upset during the whole process of dealing with this company that by the second time the construction workers did not show, I called up there to speak with the owner personally and not surprisingly, he never called me back. Beth was the ONLY good thing about this company, she brought me back down to sanity each time something went awry. I have never been treated so poorly after giving someone a significant amount of cash up front for an entire job. I have two bathrooms that are getting remodeled next and you could not pay me to use this company ever again. I do have to say that the end result is beautiful but the trauma of dealing with these people was not necessarily worth it and mind you, if I would have received courtesy calls about any of the situations we found ourselves in, I would have never left this review. If you can't handle the workload, dial it back.

Michael Kern: Installed an over sized top that was measured 2" long by their tech. Damaged walls, soffit, and damaged cabinets. knocked cabinet out of level, and split corner sink base cabinet side off. Proceeded to use a concrete saw in place without any protection of customer's home. Created dust throughout home that customer demanded payment for, and for all of this, the owner offered "$25.00" . Two other jobs where the faucet was cut 1.5" off of center by same crew they had setting the sink (You would think they would know center of their own sink position?)
