Mathnasium: what do users think?
Michelle Caruso: 10/10 recommend. My 8th grade daughter is homeschooled and wasn’t getting enough for Math so I decided to enroll her at Mathnasium. In the short time she’s attended, she’s already tested out of 2grade levels in math and is well on her way to finish High School level math by next Spring if not sooner. The math director is SO so good and gets so excited about sharing my daughters progress. The entire staff is patient and so nice not just to my child but all the other children as well. When my daughter decided to try going back to traditional school, she was encouraged to do great but unfortunately had some troubles with her math teacher and Ms. Shyla did everything she could to coordinate with the teacher but it simply didn’t work out. If your child is struggling in math or just needs more out of it, don’t wait or hesitate to enroll them at Mathnasium. It’s the best decision I’ve made for my daughters education (albeit a bit expensive but well worth it).
Louis Yorick Regnongo: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueI have been knowing the owner Matsanga Kombila for years “Matsy” and she’s an unbelievable educator with other 15 years of experience…I’m sure that her students would be able to benefit from it!

Kumon Math and Reading Center of FAYETTEVILLE: what do users think?
Nancy Lyne: This program doesn’t teach your child anything. If you want them to read, do four weeks to read program. If you want them to do math, just get those $1 work books. I told my sister I had my child in a program but it didn’t help and she said, “It must Kumon. I made that mistake too.”
Jannelle Hill: My son has improved so much, since attending kumon. He is eager to learn, and loves when they reward him with stickers etc. The teachers are very nice and welcoming!
Kidgroup Everything: This program is a great program but because I was doing too much in school, sports, etc. I was stressed because of the work I had to do including Kumon. I gave it 4 stars because I didn't like the repetition. I think others will like it though!
Skotii: Look, it's a really bad name for a business in my opinion. I may be immature, but driving by this place when my friends and I get bubble tea or whatever, we always make jokes. But to have a business as such, and to be serious, 5 stars.

C.H.I.L.D, Inc.: what do users think?
Kris Norris: C.H.I.L.D. inc. has very excellent tutoring services. My child was struggling with his ELA skills and passing the ELA EOG, but after tutoring passed the EOG, was one point from a scoring a 4, and his ELA grade improved in class. I will not lie, as it can be pricey but I believe it’s worth it especially since they offer accommodations for tuition. I’d recommend for any child struggling in a subject and a cooperating parent willing to find help for their success.
Michelle Evans: Love, love, love C.H.I.L.D, Inc! Amazing staff and especially love Mrs.Daphne! My daughter loves it and loves her teachers; thankful for this place! Highly recommend!
J TELON: My experience with C.H.I.L.D, Inc. has been awesome! My young learner has excelled in science, math, and writing this school year. We are closing out with a 3.8 GPA!!! They offer affordable and flexible options for tutoring; onsite & online. The staff is amazing as they are skilled! The instructors facilitate lessons specifically designed to challenge as well as enhance my child’s learning experience. We will continue to rely on C.H.I.L.D, Inc. for our sophomore year. Thank again for all that you do!#proudmom #tutoring #childinc
Daejanae Todd: I am so happy that I found this place. My daughter was not getting her needs met with the school system. Mrs. Daphne is very personable and caring. She worked with me so that me being a single parent, with a chronic medical condition will be able to afford to send my daughter here. My daughter started to disengage from her teachers at school because they were not engaging her. She is a shy person and on her first day she was comfortable enough to speak up. I am looking forward to our journey with C.H.I.L.D, Inc. They seem like a close knit family which is what we need now, it takes a village.
Lielna Mekonnen: It is good help for my my kids. My son is learning a lot. I am glad I brought him here.
Chante' Crawford: The staff are amazing and attentive to our child's needs! I highly recommend Child Inc.
Helen yAteS: Excellent environment to learn and grow. My child loved the teachers and enjoyed every session. Great homework and specialized tutoring services
Tanjaneca Dixon: I chose Child services over the summer to help boost my son's math skills and confidence. After the first quarter of his Freshman year in Algebra I he has an A average!! I can see how his confidence in Math has improved and he actually likes his tuitors. If you are looking for a place for your child to grow, I would highly recommend investing in CHILD for your child's future!!
Tiffany a: I’m a new student at child inc and I can say I already love this place!Ms. Daphne and Ms. Tabitha were very helpful and really nice.I love the energy and patience all of the teacher had!I look forward to working with them to help further my education.
rae andrews: My youngest child is on the spectrum. We currently repeating kindergarten due to developmental delays, ADHD, and spectrum diagnosis.I was hesitant to do personal tutoring. I wish I had done it sooner! C.H.I.L.D. Inc, your child is more than just "program" that is drawn out to make more money. They are personalized and actually care about your child's education. They take the time to be involved with your child's teacher and education process. My ONLY regret is that I DID NOT do this sooner.
Albert Finocchiaro: I am very pleased with my daughter's progress after one year with C.H.I.L.D. Inc, my wife and I are so happy we are doing another year of tutoring for our daughter. Our daughter started her first-grade school year well below grade level in math and reading and finished first grade on grade level in math and slightly below grade level in reading. She made significant progress and growth because of her tutoring support. All of the instructors here were professional and easy to work with, the admin staff is also easy to work with for scheduling and other requirements. Our daughter would have been a strong candidate for retention in first grade, but we feel she earned her promotion to second grade due in large part to the help she received at tutoring.
Sharis H: Buyer Beware‼️Last year I was desperately seeking a tutor for my daughter due to Virtual learning putting her behind. I came across this place due to several great reviews. I went in person and spoke with the Assistant Director. She seemed nice however a fast talker. She informed me that I would have to pay $120 for my daughter to take the placement test. You then fill out a paper which states you will be charged recurring payments indefinitely. I asked why does this say this if it is a one time assessment payment? She said Ohhh I’ve never actually read the full paper. I then asked her to write and initial one time payment on the form. She did. However you have to put your cc or bank account information on this paperwork. She then puts it in a vault until time of charge /test day. I left feeling unease. I called back and informed her I wouldn’t be able to go through with the process due to unforeseen circumstances. She stated I would still be charged $120 for the assessment whether she took it or not . I then asked to get the paperwork back that had my credit card information written down to ensure no fraud. She started the fast talking again and informed me if I brought $120 cash she would give me back the paperwork with my information written on it. I felt scammed for a service I didn’t receive. I went back online and looked at older reviews to see if anyone had experienced this. Sure enough if you scroll far enough back you will see where other people have tried to get out there contact and experience being charged indefinitely due to the verbiage on the document and most people don’t read . As well the assistant director doesn’t disclose. They also have written many reviews theirselves under different emails to raise there rating and push the honest reviews further down. This facility does not operate with integrity! Buyer beware!
Cristina Martinez: Critical:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,Value
Keisha R: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ValueMy daughter comes here to help prepare her for kindergarten and i can tell a big difference. Her speech is a lot clearer, her conversation skills have improved. The staff is also very patient with her . Great place for additional education help
Lindsey Ford: I love working for Child Inc! We have the best students and parents I could ever hope for. Our staff genuinely cares about the growth of each and every student. Child Inc truly feels like a close community rather than just a tutoring center. I would definitely recommend Child Inc!
Blay Vlogs: Positive:ProfessionalismI love this school. Dr. Denis, Mrs. Lindsey and Mrs. Evans are so nice. I love having them as my teachers.
Derek Ricks: Child Inc is perfect for people, and children of all age's it provides a ton of good learning exercises, tools, and games if you have a younger child. I take this from personal experience, it gives off a good homey feelings so they won't feel overwhelmed, or feel like you're in a lab like how most centers will give off, even if your child struggles from social anxiety, everyone is always friendly and nice, and they make sure to keep the place clean so nobody has to worry about being sick, I really think this homey place is perfect for children, and older kids as tutors provide really good homework help, and even will give your child work that will help them in school over the summer. 3
Dr Nadia Denis: Child Inc is a great place to learn, and a greatplace to work! It is a solid, well conducted and profesional tutoring place where you can trust that the objectives that you set for your child, will be accomplished. All sessions take place as scheduled and yet they are flexible if for a reason you need to re-schedule. All the tutors at Child Inc are TOP NOTCH! They specialize in finding the RIGHT tutor for your child; someone that fits with the way the student learns. Child Inc Rocks!!!
Xavier Evans: Child inc is a amazing tutoring service with great tutors and a very supportive staff for your child. They supported me when I needed help with my school work. Child inc is a great service for improving grades, keeping good grades, and enhancing your learning experience. They even have an amazing home school program
Tina Williams: My family and I appreciate the services that my daughter received from CHILD INC over the years.
Cydney Williams: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueI had an excellent experience at C.H.I.L.D. INC. The tutors gave me helpful tips in improving certain subjects.

R. Max Abbott Middle School: what do users think?
itz_k.e.k.e ._: It's a ok school, they just need to put some bug repellent down. And FIX THE A/C cause everytime we would go in the gym, it always hot. They also think that those fans gonna work....um no. The teachers are annoying. They would put you in ISS for no reason. Or get suspended for no reason. And plus the building is really old so some stuff is caving in. But everything else is good
youngjohnthegod: Disgusting school that suspends and punishes your kids for such trivial matters, like saying d***, which in my opinion is not even close to the things a real school would suspend kids for.Very horrible school. I would give it a way lower rating if I could.
Wendy Michaels: Absolutely heart breaking. My son was bullied relentlessly and NOBODY would stick up for him and help him. He had to be put on antidepressants because after attending this school, he no longer had the will to live. So sad. I have since removed him from that school and have chosen to home school him. If your children go here, good luck.
Skylar Baker: Mrs. Noble (6th Grade)
Judah Riley-Chute: Awesome school but is infested with roaches but teachers don't know how to teach teachers get in our faces and throw our stuff around
Paula Pranka: There is a poor connection between parents and the school. They do not communicate very well. No fliers home for events. No public FB page so we can keep tabs on what's happening around school. The office phone doesn't always get picked up. They don't open phone lines until 8 even though buses are running an hour or more earlier. You can't even call to see if a bus is running late or if your kid just missed it until the school opens making him/her automatically late. I also have some choice opinions about the football department. Let's just say it needs work as well.
Kyra Larocque: This school is.. okay
Kay Otten: I Love miss Johnson (7th grade)
Tee Asku: I feel as if they are races and i recommend that u don't put your kids in this school but love u Mrs. Johnson
Timothy Hinton: CONGRATS TO MS NOBLE

Huntington Learning Center Fayetteville: what do users think?
Liza Smayda: This is the BEST place I have encountered for tutoring services. I love how the staff, educators and Mr. Sobhan truly care and want to see the kids become successful. Hands down, the very BEST in town! Thank you for all that you do and all that you give.
Angela Warren: A great place to work. I teach there and the kids are learning. I enjoy teaching children. The staff is very friendly and I enjoy my Huntington kids.
Andy Flinn: Best decision we’ve made for our daughters academic future. The staff are easy to work with, very in tune with the needs of their students and they build skills and confidence. Our daughters confidence level has improved greatly, both in herself and her ability to ask for help when she doesn’t understand something. We will continue to seek their help and guidance for our daughter and we recommend them 100 percent.
Crystal Norris: Going to Huntington Learning Center has changed my daughters attitude about learning to read! Now she reads and loves to go! Her confidence has grown so much since we have started going.
Tracie Strongs: Huntington Learning Center has substantially impacted my son's education. My son has gained confidence and improved his grades in the few months he has been here thanks to the amazing teachers who work here. This is something I definitely recommend anyone with a child who is struggling in school; it will be well worth it.
Demetrice Whittington: Positive:ProfessionalismI have found that this establishment is wonderful for my child. She is actually excited about the material that was taught to her. I am looking forward to seeing how much she has grown academically after this process. The staff is impeccable. Each staff member I have encountered has been wonderful.
Karlotta Richards: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueExceptional customer service. Provided superb assessment and feedback. My child is learning a lot and feels confident about upcoming SAT. The staff is flexible and will work around the student’s schedule.
thacher bell: Lives up to the expectations
Anthony Lockett: Excellent service and opportunity for children and adults seeking further education! My child is an active student and is learning at such an accelerant rate; it’s amazing during this unfortunate Covid 19 crisis without being in the actual classrooms. Thanks Huntington Family, for doing what you all do for the children and those seeking further and better understanding! 🤓🏆
Stefan Durkot: I am posting years after my experience at Huntington. My parents forced me to take their assessment because of a C on my report card in the 8th grade. (Yes you read that right) I was appalled that I was even asked to do it. So I went in and guessed on every question and it was quite obvious I guessed as well. The people who work there told my parents that I needed over $10,000 worth of learning. So my parents paid it and sent an already smart kid to Huntington. I Did worksheets that were so pointless, i was just wasting time. I’m not saying Huntington is all bad. If you have a kid that is struggling maybe their services can help your kid. But for me I was already smart and the work they give you doesn’t help an already smart kid. I am currently in masters school and I stg that Huntington had NOTHING to do with me getting there. I wouldn’t write this review YEARS after I graduated high school if I didn’t feel it was relevant.
Andrew Moreshead: Huntington learning center has been an amazing experience for me. I have worked with great teachers and staff and learned many new skills I will use in my life. They helped me improve My ACT scores and helped tutor me in my schooling. I am grateful they continue to operate during the pandemic as I don’t know what I would have done with out them.
Gerry Dincher: Students receive one on one or small group services in a m manner that's superior to the services they receive in school.
Kerri And Marcus Deeds Durden: I had an assessment done with my daughter. While she is an honor roll student, their testing found that she was well below grade level. Unfortunately for us, we could not do Huntington. The cost was close to $9,000, and the options were to pay it allat once or do a loan(with interest)We ended up going with a retired teacher who was a reading specialist because it was a better fit for my budget.
Jonathan Geronimo: My son is a smart child and was getting good grades in school, but during tests and exams he would not do so well. His mother decided to take him to HLC and see what they could do to help him pass the End of Grade testing (EOG). After several weeks of tutoring and approaching the end of the school year, my son was more than well prepared for his EOG. The results were astonishing as he elevated his test scores from failure to scoring a 95%. This was a great invest for my son’s education. He is more confident when it comes to testing. Ms. Lakeisha Blakely is a wonderful director who worked hard to meet the scheduling and tutoring needs of my son. I highly recommend this institution for any tutoring needs for any school grade level.
Shannon Leggett-Clark: My youngest son goes to get help with reading and writing. He struggles because of his special needs. They have passionate professionals that have helped him achieve goals. My oldest son went to the SAT prep program. His SAT scores increased, and his GPA increased. He was awarded the Senior Human Anatomy award, and finished with a 4.0. I have continued to recommend Huntington's to friends and family, it is a place where every child can learn good study habits, increase confidence, and achieve goals.
Shavon Armstrong: I am very happy with the assistance my child is receiving. Was a little taken aback at first...I thought my daughter was going to be overwhelmed but I was so surprised and happy when day after day she hopped in the car with a smile on her face. She has built so much confidence already in a short time.
Catherine Bullard: Huntington Learning Center has provided specific tutoring on COMPREHENSION which has enabled my daughter to succeed. She is now a first year college student and goes to Huntington every week. Best money I have spent!
neil paulo: we enrolled our daughter in Huntington when she was in the 7th grade so that they could help her with reading comprehension and math. this program helped her to get in the A/B honor roll. when she was in 10th grade we came back and enrolled her in their ACT program. their program again helped her get in to the college of her dreams. Thank you Huntington for delivering. you are always in our prayers.
Emily Beahm: I'm a teacher and have worked with Huntington for a year and a half. I've seen great improvement with students who come consistently and adhere to their program. Consistency and frequency is key to the student's success. I love it here!
Ryan Mitchell: My 11 year old son attended Huntington and it did not help at all. He did not improve with his comprehension skills or grades at school. Since the center allows you to drop off and pick up, I never stayed while he was being tutored. However, everyday I would ask what they did during the session. My son always replied, we did worksheets. So, basically I have to pay back 4,000 plus for 74 hours of worksheets. I could have done that with my son at home. What a rip off. Never again! I would not recommend this center to anyone, unless you have money to throw down the drain.
Maureen Judge: Huntington has really helped Sofia gain confidence this year. Before she attended she did not like to read and never said much about school. As a teacher, I knew that if she continued on this path things would becoming increasingly difficult for her. Huntington has turned things around for her and changed her path. She is reading more than ever now! She feels confident and loves to read to Casey. It is also nice to hear her talk about school and actually "play" school when she gets home. I know that Huntington has not just helped her this year, but also changed her path for future years. She now knows what it means to be a SMART girl and she loves it!

First Impressions Academy: what do users think?
Rebecca Alam: My husband and I are both public school teachers, with 17 and 20 years experience respectively. After all we have seen and experienced, there was a long list of musts when considering private school for our children. First Impressions Academy checks every box and has exceeded our expectations. This will be our 6th year at FIA and every year we are blown away. The school provides a tight-knit, family feel. Small class sizes ensure that students' individual needs are met and all children get the attention they deserve. The staff is filled with quality, degreed and credentialed teachers who know the content and effective strategies for instruction. It is apparent that the staff loves and cares for the children. The leadership has been amazing since my first encounter, including calming my anxiety about my little one going to preschool. They have an open door policy and I've always felt comfortable talking to them. I am so glad we found FIA six years ago. It truly has been the best experience for our children! I know that no matter where the future may take us, my children have a strong foundation because of First Impressions Academy.
dennis kinlaw: Absolutely the worst place for developing your child socially and academically. My grandchild attended First Impression grades 1 through 4 before we pulled him out. Unqualified teachers, bad attitudes, teaching skills and curriculum are not suitable for your child’s growth and development. Better off in public schools or Christian school where staff and methods are more normal. Owner of school doesn’t take criticism constructively, instead she defends her staff right or wrong. 4 years at this school nearly ruined our GC. After home schooling, and enrolling our GC in a more appropriate atmosphere at a local Christian school, our GC is back to normal and enjoying life and school. Stay away from this school.
Troy: Wonderful school
Kirstyn Martin: Our kids have learned so much since being at FIA. The level of education they recieve there is outstanding and above other schools in the area. We love the small class sizes and personal feel! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming and truly care about each student.
Anyeliz Perez: I am a proud parent to a wonderful student at this school and I couldn’t be happier. The staff is amazing and the environment for my daughter is welcoming. My daughter loves going to school and absolutely loves the STEM program. She loves that she can do actual experiments in science almost daily. I have read other reviews and I noticed one said that they make you sign a contract stating not to share bad reviews, THIS IS FALSE!!! They have a standard contract for payment, school uniform policy, attendance and discipline. If your looking for a school for your child to excel and learn, then this is the place for you. If you are the type of parent that has issues with having your children miss school then this school is not for you! They follow the state attendance policy and there are to many parents that get angry when their kids get more than 10 unexcused and the school has to legally take action. The school uniforms are Mandatory and have to be purchased from a specific company. This school is about having a structured school setting. This school is not for you if your not devoted to your child’s education and not planning to abide school policy. This school is for devoted parents dedicated to wanting the best education possible and being responsible enough to take their kids to school like they are supposed to.
Katie Terry: Best place for our children. Highly recommend!
Jennifer Quinones: First Impression Academy doesn't feel like a school, it feels like a family. My 6th grader is thriving in middle school the STEM program is one you will not find anywhere in this town or surrounding cities. The hands-on projects, real-world experiences, and level of academics is second-to-none. We completed in regional Science Olympiad and our small school is going to state. I can't count the number of times we were asked; "What school are you guys from!"The children are so close and have created a culture amongst themselves of support, encouragement, love, and respect. Our kids are different, and everyone who encounters them can see it. FIA is committed to character building, self-reliance, respect, and accountability. I trust my teachers; I trust our staff, they will leave no stone unturned. I know my child is important to them and when in school I know, she is in a safe, secure and nurturing environment. First Impressions Academy is truly Fayetteville's little GEM; we are so blessed to be here.
honest review: Very dishonest about the quality of education offered as well as the favoritism.
Kim Nagowski: We have been a FIA family for 4 years. As an educator I know the importance of meeting the needs of all children and that is an area that FIA excels in. If your child needs to be challenged they are and if your child needs extra help, they provide it. The teachers are able to teach the students using creativity since they are not just teaching to a test. The students do take standardized tests from grade 3 on and do well above average because of good teaching at the level of the students. The class sizes are very small, usually 10-12. These small classes allow for the individualized instruction when needed. My daughter loves FIA and even asks to be taken back after appointments. It's now summer and she misses her friends and school. We are excited about the new middle school with a STEM focus (Science Technology Engineering and Math)!
Peter Robinson: The staff at First Impressions Academy is really great with communication. They are always available, attentive, and responsive whenever we have questions about our kids or their progress in school. I recommend FIA highly to our friends and family.
Julianne Ottersbach: This school is phenomenal. We moved here from the public school system and DODea schools, and have never looked back. The class sizes allow for hands on teaching. The intimacy of the environment makes for endless support among the kids--they really build each other up and encourage one another. My children have found a second home at FIA where they have grown into comfortable and confident students. I could not recommend it enough. Five stars is too few.
Mike Reiley: I love their small class sizes and hands on style. Teachers are every caring, comfortable and create a good learning environment.
Christina Holly: Two of my children attend the First Impressions Academy and it is great. The schools academic curriculum is thorough and excellent.
Kali Cain: My two boys are at FIA and they LOVE it! Best curriculum and teachers I have seen. The small family atmosphere is wonderful and my children are so excited to go to school everyday. So happy we found FIA!!!
T Gaskins: for the full review please see YELP the emails are found there.I am including the email exchange with this review. This email exchange is what prompted me to even write the review. The tone, the dismissiveness, the lack of professionalism, the fact that a spot mysteriously opens up once I complain and ask for a refund is all suspect. I want people to see for themselves the kind of administration that runs this school BEFORE you think of enrolling your child. Here's the thing no matter what I feel or complain about the administration should remain professional. The owner would have you believe this is about my child not getting a spot, but this is about a lack of professionalism. After scrambling and by the grace of God, we were able to enroll my daughter full time at another private school. The administration would have you think that this review is being posted from a place of maliciousness and truly it's not. It's not even about the refund. I asked for one they declined and that for me could have and would have been the end of it. However when I shared my disappointment with the process and the owner took it upon herself to dangle a spot that magically opened up (AFTER MY COMPLAINT) in front of me and then inferred that my child doesn't belong at her school BECAUSE she felt some type of way about my email and complaints...this is why I'm posting this review. It's beyond unprofessional, in fact it's down right insulting. We never got the chance to become a part of this school and honestly after this fiasco its for the best. I can only imagine how our concerns would have been addressed.Last let me add there are two people you will interact with Christy Pettit and Teresa Clayton, they make up the administration. You can just see by the email exchange who is professional and who isn't. In retrospect I even recall mentioning to my husband how cold the owner Christy Pettit was when we were introduced during our tour, but I chalked it up to possibly her having a bad day. The emails with her responding lets me know this is who she is. I understand this is their school and they are protective of it BUT there is also a need for professionalism. Based on my experience I wouldn't recommend anyone dealing with this school. I was highly impressed upon first glance but knowing the kind of people who are in the administration office and how they operate...wouldn't recommend.
