As I write this, I checked their reviews, people have written about similar experiences.According to this dealership, the trade value of my car is reduced $6000 all within a within a weekfirstly I am 60yrs old, regrettably online research is not my forteI went to this dealership while visiting Fayetteville NC from Durham Nc. After a few days, I traded my 2019 GLC 300, 28k miles for $30k because of d lack of touch screen dashboardi got a 2022 GLB 250 for $39999 ($42000 in total) i was told the difference was size with more room space in the GLB}As I drove home to Durham 90 miles away on memorial day weekend I noticed the GLB was very very noisy, after a few days of test driving around Durham trying to convince myself that it's not so bad. I later concluded I can't keep this noisy vehicle, so I drove back to the dealership 90miles away.Day 5 from date of purchasei returned to the dealership, i was told the technicians will be closing in 40 mins it's better to come back the next day so i spent the night in Fayetteville and turned up on day 6DAY 6I test drove with the technician. It took less than 10minhe said yes the car was noisy but it was made that way and nothing was wrong mechanically. However, Winston the sales guy said I can change the car for another at an equal or higher price. Winston said to me "you have until 14 days to make the exchange" i asked him to confirm the date of purchase, he went inside to check and confirmed 5/26/2023, ​i pulled up my phone calendar and together we concluded that it is a week away. Since I did not really see any vehicle I liked, I could wait a few days to see if some other interesting inventory might turn up. I drove back to Durham 90miles awayDAY 8​I called Winston to see if there is added inventory. The first thing he said was, what is the mileage on the new GLB odometer, he said I could no longer exchange the car, I should have done that within 7 days and under 500miles. I had used 518miles.​{ it was obviously around 400miles before driving 90 miles back to Durham on day 6 )If Winston had mentioned 7days or minimum 500miles? of course i would have made my exchange there and then on day 6 while at the dealership.Lets not forget the mileage accrued was from my trip to and from the dealershipNow,I'm being told the value of the car i bought for $39999 (total $42000) 10 days ago is now $37000 trade value if they were to buy it from me i will get $26K (instead of $30kThe dealership sold and made $6000 on the GLC I traded in, made money on the GLB i just bought also want to make money off me by reducing trade value in other to make even more money on any exchange i make (after all, the exchange still comes at retail price)They talk about cost of re-certification after 500miles which obviously is done in housei have asked to speak to the sales manager Greg since day 8there was always an excuse of him not being availableJulie the senior sale accounts person has been blatantly rude and brash, she makes it clear she couldn't care less about how things went downNo one has addressed the fact their staff gave the wrong information, Not one apology!Julie shouts back at me it's 7days or 500miles each time i quote Winston . Brook: Shout out to Jamie and the service team. On Monday my car decided to act a butt. It was a software glitch and I was left stranded. I’m was panicking but they helped to calm me down and made the impossible possible. By today (Wednesday) I had my car back good as new. This was the first time I had ever bought a brand new car and I am beyond happy with the peace of mind that Mercedes gives its customers and I am beyond happy that I chose Mercedes of Fayetteville to deal with. Also, the older lady that works at the front counter. I’d like to give a shout out to her as well because when I called crying and upset rather than get upset with me in turn she personally walked over to try to get me help. Thank you so much. cecelia hill: Saw a CPO GLA 250 on line Monday morning, I made an online inquiry. Received an immediate response that someone would contact me. TJ immediately called me, we set up a time to see the vehicle...needless to say by Wednesday of the same week I was driving my CPO GLA 250 off the lot. My issue is with the detailing department, the vehicle wasn't detailed in the manner commensurate with a premier show room. I was told that they were short staffed. I understand but in the future at least offer a voucher to have it professionally detailed.

Shaina King: I had an 8am appointment so I dropped the car off the night before. At around 9 I received a text asking if I was bringing in my car(it was automated). Confused I called, the secretary said she didn’t send it (the blonde is rude on the phone but not to your face) and that everyone was busy in service so she would have Mike call me back. I called at 9, 11:30, and 3:30. When it was 3:30 I refused to hang up and wanted to speak to someone. Around 3:40 Mile called me and told me my car had just been brought in and that they couldn’t experience they same thing I was but would get back to me. 5:45 right before closing I get a call back saying the same thing, that they aren’t experiencing it and said they would let me know tomorrow. I told him I would just be coming to get my vehicle.Horrible experience, makes me want trade it in so I do t have to deal with the Fayetteville, NY Mercedes

Alex Dallas: I bought a car online and the salesman and manager did not reveal the true condition of the car. They did not disclose numerous faults that the car had. The car was not as described over the phone and the pictures online were not the same pictures of the car that was delivered. They car was dangerous to even drive and I had to do steering repairs immediately to make it safe. Many parts were rusted and broken and I was very disappointed in the car. The chrome was pitted and paint was foggy and dented. They were not interested in even talking about how to resolve the problems and did not want to talk to me any more and hung up on me on the phone. I will have to resort to an attorney. Do not trust Dean at this dealership to tell you the true condition about the vehicle you are buying. He will tell you what you want to hear and not disclose any of the flaws or Items that need to be repaired. Do not buy a car from this dealer sight unseen because they will cover up the true condition of the car and you will be in for a surprise and have to hire an attorney to take on trying to get some resolution. This was a collector car over $21k and I was told it needed nothing and was in great running order and looked great. I did not expect to be taken for my money from a professional car dealer but apparently they don’t know how to be honest about the condition of a vehicle and are only interested in closing the sale and getting your money. Buyer beware of knowing the true condition of a car you are buying from this dealership.

Christina Osborne: We weren't greeted professionally and the place reaked of cigarettes. The SUV was priced $6k over book and when we tried to negotiate he said that's how much he needed for it because he paid too much for it. He told us we could finance 130% of the value and when we asked if there was any wiggle room, he said no and that it could just stay in his $3 million inventory. Dean was absolutely horrible. We would never recommend this place!!

Shakeria Rogers: Customer service was nice. However the vehicle needed an alignment and tire balance. Upon test driving i notified the sales agent and he assured me it had only been on the lot for 14 days and had been fully serviced prior. I returned after a day because the shaking got worse while breaking the sales rep test drove it and claimed there was nothing wrong. So I decided to utilize the 30 day warranty and took it to Firestone and they confirmed my claim. Although the diagnostic, tire balance and alignment were covered, this should not have happened. I do feel taken advantage of as I was told the day I purchased the vehicle I was the only sale of the day, along with other things to make me confident in purchasing that upon doing my own investigation was a lie as well. This isn’t by first buying from Drive Time so i was really disappointed. My first experienced in 2015 from a Virginia branch was nothing short of amazing and that’s the only reason for this two star review.
