They demo the center post on old double hung windows and replaced with a single window unit with horizontal slide pane. No more vertical ^ windows. As well, all the trim work inside and out aluminum trim sealing the exterior. Family likes the upgrade.I have a few more projects that M&D will be called again. They work with me and my inspiration to upgrades for the 1965 home that been in my family since the 90’s.

Don and Maude Van Dis: Two or three years ago I watched Premier Builders install roofs on two of our neighbors' houses. While watching the progress I had a chance to talk with John about how the work would be done. I was very impressed with his thoroughness with the job.Recently I noticed we were having some issues with torn shingles at the edge of the roof along with some rainwater leaking into the soffit. I thought I could handle the repair myself but when I got up to the roof and saw what was going on I knew that fixing it was beyond my capability.I still had the business card from Premier so I called them and John was at our house the next day to look at the job. (He came on a Saturday) He looked at the trouble spot I was interested in but he also showed us where we had additional trouble with popped nails and more soffit leaks and recommended replacing the roof.He quoted a price which I thought was absolutely reasonable and it included fixing the structural issue we had with the roof. We also needed to have eve boards replaced and we agreed to have him do that on a time & material basis which is understandable because fitting those boards is a fussy and time-consuming project.They started the roof on the following Wednesday and finished it on Thursday. We could not be happier with the result and after they finished the place was just immaculate with every scrap of old roofing material and nails picked up. His crew was cordial but very business-like. There was no loud music playing, no yelling or horsing around--just work. It was also evident that the crew knew they were going to have to clean up after the job since they were quite particular about where scrap materials were placed.Needless to say, it was a very happy outcome for a project I had been putting off for several months because I knew it was going to be difficult.
