Matthew Madewell: Amazing people at an amazing place. Sunday school in the cafeteria was awesome and so welcoming - we were studying in Micah. The service in the sanctuary was great, too. The preacher said hello and shook my hand, and as I watched him lead the church in honoring the mothers, I can tell he's the same guy in church as he is at home. Authenticity is rare these days, but this place has it!

Carrie Kahle (Paper Puddles): We had just moved to North Carolina and were praying about the right Church.From our first visit I felt at home. From the greeters at the door to the ushers in the aisles we were welcomed. The music was so filled with the Holy Spirit. I cried during several songs. The people are allowed to express their joy and love for God by saying amen and hallelujah. Connie who works in the office is such a delightful human being. When I asked about dress attire she said 'we don't care about what you look like when you come, we just care about what you feel like when you leave." During that week of our first visit we got a phone call from pastor John welcoming us to the church. He is such a kind soul. We are so thankful that God led us to this body of believers.

MsVon Queen: Visited last night for the first time in some years and did not feel the same spirit of God as in times past. I did not feel welcomed at all people who greeted me at the door was so rude and forced me to wear a mask and put sanitizer on. Listen I understand some places are not free from COVID restrictions however if CDC guidelines have already lifted the restrictions why aren’t the churches. Also, I have asthma so breathing with those hot mask aren’t good for me per my doctor. I pray that the spirit of love comes back to this church again. There are ways to do things and I don’t feel the people greeting at the door showed love. It was more of a business thing and do what I say! This incident that happened to me last night is the main reason why people in the world don’t want to come to church. You have mean, rude and unloving people right in the church smh. Because of this incident not sure if I want to come back. Let’s bring the true and living God back to church please.
