King Nothing: Awesome little music shop. There are tons of vinyl but also a good mix of cassettes and CDs. Good place to drop in and see what tells you to take it home!! Will be back frequently as possible. Hour and a half drive but totally worth it.
William Parker: Why is it so hard to find record stores around here?! This is hands down the best place to spend your time and money if you are a hard-core music collector like myself. I've bought every piece of America the Band merch Shawn has...so much that I feel bad he doesn't have anything left lol. The colors are vibrant, the music is amazing, and the location is spot on. It's a must-see even if you aren't into records/CDs.
Wernell Fast: This place is a experience. The exterior is a great view of the Old Town Hall. Drop some acid before hitting the entrance stairs. The music upstairs can be heard just enough as you watch the large spinning records overhead. Lots of gems in the records and misc. Flyers and posters. I definitely spend money here that day....

N White: If you are looking for an old school way to enjoy your music, this local spot is the perfect place to visit. Staff is helpful, if you want to listen to something they have all you have to do is ask. Cozy spot what hold so much to look through. It is the kind of place that is hard to find these days and it is nice to be center ally located downtown. We always stop by when we are in the area and see what they have got. Worth checking out if you love vinyl, CDS or just music in general.

Baby Lou: I finally got a chance to come see the vinyl collection, that I had heard from many people is amazing, at Back Around Records. As soon as I opened the front door, I feel inlove with this shop. You can practically find every genre of music here, the selection is awesome and they have some very rare and hard to find Records. I finally got to get my hands on a Record from one of my favorite bands the Dwarves. Prices are good and the selection is great, you have to come check this place out in Downtown Fayetteville.
Delta Hurley: If you're looking for incredible-quality records, CDs, cassettes, and more, you NEED to stop by this store on the 2nd floor right above Bail For Tails. Shawn is such an awesome, down-to-earth guy who is always willing to take time and talk about anything (he's basically a music genius)! The coolest shop in downtown Fayetteville by a long shot. They've got a wide range of vinyl records and CDs, plus he's always getting new stuff. It's a small space, but packed full of great sounds and deals! A must-visit for any lover of music!

Stephanie Ingram: My husband and I recently purchased a record player and have been looking around for awhile for vinyl records to play. I looked up local to us shops that offer vinyl records. We hit the jack pot with this location! *Please be aware from what I could see this is not wheelchair accessible as it is on the second floor.* When you enter you are taken back into time when life was simpler and people gathered around good music for a good time! They offer cassette tapes, dvds, vhs, cds and tons of vinyl. They offer everything from current artist on back. We ended up walking out with 5 different vinyl records to begin our collection. We arrived around 530 and there were a few other shoppers. Overall they were reasonably priced. Some of the newer items were compared to other stores in pricing. However, i am willing to pay a little more to shop local. We plan to go back when we have a little more time to browse.
Kenny Hawthorne: I stopped by on Thanksgiving vacation and found some personal OG grails(No New York, Foetus, Psychic TV, The Residents)!!! The best used selection I have seen in the last couple years. I’ll be back next Thanksgiving!

jUSTIN nOPE: Good stock and prices, the store's main employee is excellent when available, but highly recommend improving online orders. You can't track the package. It disappears for 3 to 4 days.
Jermaine Bigby: Rented a sound system from this location for a wedding I was Djing. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The sound system exceeded all expectations and all worked out great. I will definitely be purchasing one of these systems in the near future, or at least continue to rent from this location! Highly recommend!
Jonathan Brashier: Used EVH5150 III 15 watt guitar tube amp head incorrectly labeled as 100 watt and priced over $800. Amp is $650 or so brand new. Employee said the price couldn't be changed. Go elsewhere
Logan O'Hara: Definitely one of the worst experiences I’ve had with Guitar Center during 25 years of working through them. Was delivered the wrong guitar. No effort made to find the right one, should have just left with the more expensive one they mistakenly sent but hey, ethics and such. Wouldn’t work with me on an exchange. Was told “better luck next time.” Overall just a lousy experience from this place. Not to mention the poor selection and the fact that they put no effort into setting up or maintaining inventory. Definitely recommend going to one of the larger, more professional stores in Raleigh or a bigger city.
BrokenArrow: Why does it always look like the entire back stock of inventory is in the front of the store…. You can’t even appreciate the displays because you can’t reach them. Also, stock more left handed guitars and we will do business.
Lu Garner: How can you have a guitar store without a guitar technician on site ?? they can’t even string guitars for you. Their employees are hired off the street without any musical knowledge, especially when it comes to guitars.(updated 3/1/23) they replied with call the store will help u lol.. yall dont have a guitar technician how u gona help anyone? Worry more ur under paid employees and ur understaffed stores than replying to reviews then maybe will get some where

J Bull77: Took my guitar in for a routine set up and a simple repair. I paid $96 to find out out it wasn't fixed. I spoke to store staff and left it for the tech to fix. The next time I picked it up it still wasn't fixed! And the setup wasn't even finished on it!

Mrs. Pat is in charge of coordinating all lessons and she is a sweetheart. The Guitar Center also have some awesome equipment that's reasonably priced and they offer layaway. They offer a wide range of lessons. Check them out.

Ronald Prater: This place is awesome if you are a local musician or trying to learn about getting into Music. Guitar Center is just around the corner on Skibo Road and they don’t hold a candle to the folks here at Edwards. Everyone in here is super friendly, and will try to answer any questions that you have. I have purchased instruments from them as well as accessories for my guitar such as strings, cases, picks, and cables. I also use them to change my guitar strings. They condition my fretboard and get my strings changed within a day or so. Very convenient for dropping off and then just picking it back up for service. They also have a unique program if you have a child in school who is needing an instrument to play. We have several friends from church who rent their school instruments through Edwards.

Johnny Texan: Went in there today to browse and walked out with a new ukulele. They had a nice variety (far superior to Guitar Center) and the staff was as friendly and helpful as could be. They're knowledgeable about their instruments and can answer any question. I compared the prices there to what I found online and everything was right on par for each brand and model and in some cases cheaper. I will be visiting again.
