Cape Fear Regional Theatre: what do users think?
Tim Williams: It was a very good show (Jelly's last jam). The staff was great.
Amber Smiley: We always have such an amazing experience at the CFRT.
Chan Branch: Went to see Jelly's Last Jam and it was a great show
Jamie Johnson: Always incredible!
Carol Scheib: Great venue.Wonderful productions
Krisleigh T.: CFRT is a wonderful theater. Since moving to Fayetteville I've been hooked. My teen and entire family love it. Each person from the box office, actors, stewards and stage hands are all wonderful. Don't miss out! Ashely is awesome also! We attended Hip Hop Trivia and had a great time!
Ferdinand Gutierrez: I just saw Matilda with my daughter and her mom. The theatre is very welcoming, great employees too. The play's cast was excellent!
Theresa Coles: Matilda is without a doubt the best local theater production I have ever seen. It substantially exceeded my expectations. WOW! So impressed! I will be back.
Tim Brown: Matilda was spectacular. This was my first visit to this theater and it blew away my expectations. Bravo and I'll be back for more soon. Highly recommended!
Bridgette Murry-Giacomucci: I went to see Matilda. It was such a great performance. The actors did an amazing job.
Christine Doss: Decided to take a chance and drive the distance (coming from the Raleigh area) to attend a performance of Matilda here yesterday. I am SO glad I did. I didn't have high expectations, but I was ultimately blown away by the talent, set, theater, and employees of this small little theater. The singing (and dancing) was phenomenal, especially considering that a large part of the cast were children. Don't sleep on this gem of a theater!(We even had time to go to the bathroom AND get a snack during intermission. That never happens at DPAC!)
RuthAnn Barker: Saw a production of Matilda. It was extremely well done! The kids and leads were very talented. New seats and leg room in the theater is appreciated comfort.
J S: Always a great performance. Good facility, great performers.
Trench Wolfhound: Best live theater in town. Just make sure you buy tickets well in advance or you might not get an ideal seat.
Tabitha Benavidez: Had a great time yesterday at the matinee show of The Buddy Holly Story!!
W. “WD” Dietrich: CFRT is a hidden GEM in Fayetteville I discovered many years ago. This is a great venue to see live theatre performances. Newly renovated in the past two years with new sound system and comfortable chairs. This past week went to see a performance of Buddy Holly who had a dream of playing his kind of music, "Rock n' Roll", in the mid to late 50s. It was outstanding live performance of many of Holly's his hit songs. Several in the cast played their own instruments from guitar, piano, to drums.
Janet Grubich: The Buddy Holly Story was fantastic. The Cast was phenomenal and did an outstanding performance. Thank you for an entertaining evening. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it.
Marybeth Smith: Buddy Holly show, a must see !
Bryan Goddard: Attended Opening Night for "Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story". OUTSTANDING! Choreography, production, vocals all fantastic! 🤩 Thoroughly enjoyed! The theater remodel is great and has greatly added to the experience with the upgraded seating and ticketing system. Staff (as always) helpful, professional and personable. Great job CFRT and looking forward to the rest of the season! #BuddyHolly
Bev OA: This was our first experience coming here to watch the musical "Memphis."The theatre is small but, cozy. They do have food and drink items for sale. We will most definitely be back there. We enjoyed the musical and we look forward to what other productions are coming here.Update: 09/17/22This was our first time back here since, the pandemic. We went to see the "Buddy Holly Story."It was very good. I would recommend seeing it before it's over. The music and wonderful actors and actresses made it worth it. I'm looking forward to seeing the "Odd Couple" in November. I still highly recommend coming here. 🙂 Attached is a copy of the upcoming 22/23 season.
Justin Herbe: Still have to wear masks.

Sweet Tea Shakespeare: what do users think?
Gen C: The performance at Gillis Hill Farm was small and personal. The actors really put their hearts into their roles.
Shannon Camlin Ward: This is an awesome local nonprofit that puts on stellar shows & is very involved in the community. Check them out!
Brian Thompson: A very small quaint production company. Definitely worth the experience
Irene Grimes: STS is always an experience, but "Behold" was even better than usual; a non-traditional Christmas performance/cantata, the singing was exquisite, the music well performed, the venue beautiful....high praise should also be given to the lighting director.
Ingrid P: Great shows, perfect for dates or night out with friends! Actors are friendly and very talented...
Timothy Ingram: Fun and festive as expected. This was a very difficult performance delivered with great mastery! A am humbled to be in their presence.
Joanne Perez: With limited props, they put on a professional level performance. I watched Sweeney Todd and it was a better than perfect performance from everyone. You definitely all rocked the part at mental asylum. There could not have been a more perfect Mrs Lovett!! Beggar woman, you were hilarious! Johanna wow, those high notes and paired with Anthony, partnered well. Sweeney and judge outstanding!! The voice quality and believability of the whole thing just blew me away! All other participants in the show, stage hands, and the restaurant were awesome, just awesome. Great job! Thank you
Brad Hopkins: Absolutely loved last night’s show! It was Othellit at Dirtbag Ales Farmers’ Market. The cast were so welcoming, I honestly felt as if I had known them all prior to the show. The pricing of tickets was extremely fair. I will definitely make an effort to see them again.
I-95 Muscle: We really enjoyed last night's show! Very entertaining with a great group of talent. The perfect weather may have helped, but this outweighs watching TV any day!! Special thanks to Nate for the invite.
ed whiteman: Excellent performance. Need to do more musicals.

Nancy Tetterton: Great venue. Small, professional.
Kevin Whiting: When we first went into the theater this evening, I was a little bit concerned that maybe I had wasted my money. Once the play started, I was very pleasantly surprised. The actors and actresses did a great job! The props were simple but tasteful. The costumes were tastefully designed. Mr. Potter and George Bailey were my two favorites of the actors. Mary Hatch was also very good. All of the actors and actresses did a good job. It is something I would definitely do again.
Makayla Lavy: The theatre was really pretty and the show was awesome. My husband and I just got back from date night at It's a Wonderful Life. My husband and I definitely plan on going again.
