Fayetteville Children’s Clinic: what do users think?
Elayna Bartell: If you care about your kids don't go there. If you need a referral don't bother they will just keep putting it off and tell you thats not gonna help, when clearly sometimeskids need outside help like ENT or ADHD. If you want them to listen to you and help you find out what's wrong with your child forget about it, your wasting your time. I could write a book about why you shouldn't go here, but it still wouldn't do any justice. They don't care about your kid and are clearly there for a profit. You have been warned.
Alex Iriana: We have absolutely loved seeing Dr Olga Johnson for the past 2 years. Both my kids go to her and I find her to be thorough and reasonable. She explains things well, is reassuring to me and my kids and is quick to take care of referrals, paperwork, etc. Her nurse, Katie, is on it and returns messages quickly. The office is pretty good at getting you in for an acute care visit within a day or so, depending on the severity of the illness.I’m so happy I found this clinic and this provider.
Liza Hondros: No better Pediatrician in town! We have been at FCC since our son was 1 mo old, he is now 11yo! My husband was seen by Dr. Kelly Sr back in the day. The customer service is top notch from making an appointment to needing paperwork done. Dr. Kelly is the best.
Gabriel Valverde: Can’t say enough good things about the doctors or the receptionist. Both of my boys have been coming here for almost 2 years and we have always received excellent care and fast responses when we call. What my wife and I love the most is how thorough the doctor is. Keep up the great work!!
Stephanie Fisher: I cannot recommend this place more! If I could give them 10 stars I would. After months of my child being diagnosed as colic, her head and body oozing from skin rashes, diarrhea and screaming. I finally found Fayetteville Childrens Clinic. I met Dr. Olga Johnson and her nurse Katie who not only switched my child to the correct formula but was with us every step of the way in her feeding journey. Closely monitoring her weight, making countless referrals to specialists and answering all my questions. My daughter had a rough beginning with torticollis, flat head, tension, eating issues, etc. The doctors and nurse staff are the best and are quick to call parents back and bring in children to be seen. They provided me the reassurance as a new mom even for minor things. They are the greatest pediatricians in the area and I’m sad to have to leave the area with the military because I have never encountered a staff that cared so much for their patients. I couldn’t have asked for a better team for my little girl and now she is set up for success because of a staff that is truly amazing. I can’t speak enough great things about Fayetteville Childrens Clinic. They were so patient and thorough, hard working, and dedicated to my daughter. Not being from the area I was skeptical about the care at a small doctor office but they are leaps and bounds above any doctors in the area. The world needs more medical staff like these.
Moriah Martinez: I have no idea how well the provider care is here. I was recommended by my OB, so I called to schedule my daughter. Made it all the way to a date and time being decided on and the receptionist (who was really rude) says we will need a record of your daughter's recent shots. I told them I don't have that and that my daughter has never had her shots. As a parent that is rightfully my decision. The receptionist then very rudely says "well if she's never jad shots and you don't plan on her getting them then we can't see her". I have worked in the medical field for 9 years and never have I heard of a medical office turning away patients because they don't have their "cdc recommended shots". I would not recommend this place to anyone just solely based off the rudeness of that one receptionist.
Alanna Swiatkowski: The Doctors and staff are simply the BEST!! We LOVE Dr. Johnson and her nurse, Katie, but we have also seen all of the other docs and nurses and have always received above and beyond care. 💗
Brittany Spann: I absolutely love it here. The doctors here are every good with checking your child and matching sure he or he has everything they need and taking their time to listen to your problems my children see de. Johnson and she is amazing. I was referred by my insurance and it was the best decision I made😊
lucy ogu: Fraudsters, they will make you pay out of pocket on something insurance will cover or they just bill you for voicing out speech concerns for your child. They care more about money than they care about the well-being of your child. I will not recommend this place to anyone who wants the best for their children.
Carol Dees: We love Dr. Kelly and all the staff here. As foster parents we've used several pediatricians in Fayetteville and this office is head and shoulders above the rest.
Wanda Locklear: I love Dr. Islander and the staff at the clinic. My daughters have been going to her since the ages of 9 and 2. Now my grandson is a patient here! I couldn’t ask for a better place to care for my children!
Kayla Mcallister: On a public post about a child standing on top of a bridge about to jump and causing a halt in traffic, one of their employees, Morgan stated that “if a CHILD didn’t care about their life then why should she” along with multiple other statements such as “if it was one of my kids they wouldn’t inconvenience peoples traffic” I think this proves she should not be working in a children’s clinic around our children. Absolutely inappropriate.
Stephanie Rhees: This office is very close minded and unless you abide by their strict beliefs they will refuse to even see you. I needed standard physicals done for my kids moving from AZ per military orders and because I don’t follow the standard immunization “recommendation” per religious beliefs they told me they wouldn’t see my children as their doctors strongly believe in the standard. What a joke, we are in 2018 with many people and many different beliefs and I can not believe this highly rated office is so close minded and pushy! Pathetic office!
Victoria Mills: Dr. Johnson is amazing and the staff is great and really good with my son
Erica Tesseo: I travel with my fiance for work called to see if I could get my 6th month his shots and check up only accept established patients which made no sense
Amanda Sullivan: Both my children have Dr.Johnson, she is amazing. We love all the doctor's who are there. Amazing and helpful staff!
Dianna Tatum: Amazing physicians who truly care and get to know your children!
Felicia Jones: I love the nurses & the doctors my son has been patient since he was 3wks old now he's 19 ,I had my daughter in 2015 now she goes there they both have Dr Iskander she's the best I love her
BBY EGAN: When I had my son in January 2014, I was recommended Fayetteville children's clinic from the nurse in the hospital, so I gave it a shot. This is the best choice I've ever made! Dr. Iskander is amazing, and tells it how it is. We love her! There is not anowhere I would rather take my son!
James Posey: I can't give an official opinion on the care and practice of the Doctors here because it was difficult to even get an appointment to see a provided. The women working the appointments was rude and not willing to help with concerns for my child to be seen. I am a new parent and wanted to find a great pediatrician and was referred here by a friend. But because of the staff working here I chose to go else where because they expected me to wait over a month for an initial appointment and I called about an emergency I had prior to then and they weren't willing to accommodate! Poor customer service and it's a shame! I went to rainbow pediatrics and was seen right away with great care and concern. This place is a waste of time.
Cin Labbe: Amazing staff and doctors at this location. I like the fact that they have sick call hours each day in case your child is ill and you don't have to wait for an appointment.

Kidzcare Pediatrics PC - Northside Fayetteville NC: what do users think?
KA Parker: Easy to access if you live on North Ramsey, also one of the only options for a pediatrician on this side of town. Has a weird smell & the staff isn’t very friendly.
Shaniece Belle: That fast of best pediatric doctors
Lauren Henn: Every time we call to be seen, they don’t have appointments available FOR DAYS. Why even have a pediatrician if they cannot see your child when they are sick? It’s crazy. Not to mention the extremely long wait times every time.We will be finding a new pediatrician
Bear: Does not listen to parents concern. In and out of office for 2 weeks and nothing done to help my son with a bad cough.
Alana Neville: Just another story of them cancelling on me. I booked this appointment 8 weeks in advance because their scheduling is really horrible and I wanted it to line up for when my husband can come as well. I was getting so anxious building up to the appointment because my 4 month old was getting her shots and I just don’t deal with that well, hence wanting my husband there. We get there and our appointment has been cancelled and they had the wrong number for me on file so I wasn’t even informed of the cancellation. Now booking my baby’s 4 month check up for after she turns 6 months because their availability is so bad.
Dt Need2k: Careless.. all kidzcares pediatrics are careless.
Dani Williams: Love this place! The front desk is excellent and helps as much as they can, the MAs are compassionate and show they genuinely care about the little ones. The providers are amazing, they do all they can to take care of their patients. Highly recommended you visit this location!
Donya Harris: My husband and I had the most unprofessional visit at this facility. Long story long… my son was hospitalized due to all his allergies and needing OT and speech therapy. We had only been here for 2 weeks at the time due to PCS move. So of course once you are admitted to the hospital you have to have a follow up. I didn’t even meet the doctor I signed my son up which is the only reason I was coming to this place based on reviews of a particular doctor. Anyway there is a particular formula my son could tolerate at the hospital due to allergies that was kate farms and compleat pediatrics. Even with the paper work from cape fear Ms. Boyddid not want to write the prescription for this expensive formula. It’s over $100 for a case of 12 so you can imagine what that is doing to us financially when we have 3 children. I ended up going back to the hospital to get more of this formula because we ran out. Luckily the dietician at cape fear remembered me and gave us more and wanted to set us up with someone on base who could assist us in getting tricare to cover this particular formula. The hospital was way more helpful trying to help us than this lady at kidzcare. We went to this appointment and since it’s on base they are able to see all my sons past records in the system. The dietician brought it to my attention that my son shouldn’t be drinking kate farms or compleat because of his pea protein allergy. The dietician assisted me with finding a different formula that had no dairy, soy, gluten, shellfish, tree nuts, eggs, or pea protein. So now we have to go back to kidzcare to ask for a new prescription. We showed Ms. Boyd everything; the printed allergy testing, the info from the dietician we seen on base, and gave her the back story of everything that was going on. She was just so concerned about why did we go see someone else and not someone from the referrals she put in. No one called me for these so called referrals she put in. She’s asking stupid questions like why did you go to Oklahoma to get his allergies tested. Like girl we just moved here we got this done months ago nobody is going behind your back. She kept bringing up your seeing other doctors and why the dietician didn’t just write the prescription. Another stupid question because a dietician is not a doctor and therefore cannot write the prescription. She argued how she was not going to write another prescription and even went as far as saying whatever and I guess you’re just going to have to pay out of pocket. These specific formulas can not be purchased in store they are only online so you would think she would understand and try and help us since it is extremely expensive. I switched my son from this place so fast they finally had some openings on base so I don’t have to deal with them anymore. Do not waste your time coming here they just don’t seem like they are there to help in any way. I know I want a pediatrician who actually cares about my children and wants to help you help your child and you do not get that vibe from this place.
Jose Ruiz: Let me save you some heartache with this place. The front, is very unprofessional and lack the capability of performing their front desk duties. Literally was on the phone with the pharmacy because all they needed was the doctors authorization number or something of that sort, and they acted like I was asking for them to pass a bill in Congress. Then one of the other front desk ladies (30min AFTER being asked by the other front desk person I was engaging with) came up and said oh that's all you need here let me help."...The doctors here are incompetent in knowing their patients and performing their medical due diligence. We have been going there since 2021 and they acted like we've never been seen. The doctor recently performed a well-child checkup and said there was no record of immunizations on hand even though about 2 weeks prior we got a copy for our daughter's day care. Then about a week later we had to come back because my child got sick and the doctor once again acted as if we have never been seen at this clinic. We are definitely leaving this place and suggest that you don't waste your time, because that's what they will take from you without any remorse.
Jessica Darling: Let me begin by saying that it takes A LOT for me to leave a negative review. I have been coming here with my children since my youngest daughter was born, and I absolutely adore our primary provider, Corina. She is thoughtful, kind, and very good at her job! That being said, the rest of the staff here is absolutely horrible. The front desk is not professional or courteous at all, and they seem to spend more time on Instagram and discussing what they’re having for lunch than they do helping their patients. I have had multiple appointments canceled at the last minute, and calling to get an appointment is always an excruciatingly long process. I will be taking my children elsewhere from now on. I do not recommend this place at all.
Essence Robinson: Dr. Karina and Nurse Crystal are both so personable and extremely helpful during my kids appointments. They both make my kids feel so comfortable and that’s important to me. 10/10 recommend taking your kids to see Dr. Karina and Nurse Crystal!
Mitzi Blanchard: This is my first visit at this location the staff was fantastic.
dakattner: I Move to a town an hour away and needed to get my sons medical records. I requested them on 1Aug22 and the new pediatricians office still hasn’t received them. I’ve spoken with Kidcare Northside a number of times to include the office manager. It’s 9Sep22 and they assured me again they would be sent today. 🙄👍🏼
ShaVadne Lee: I've had this dr office cancel on me short notice or day of appointment. At least 5 times. I had an appointment on 9/1 for my son, for a physical for sports, an appointment which I've already took time off of work to make. Whenever they cancel they never can work with me to get him seen earlier. They always want to push the appointment out farther. I will definitely be finding my kids another provider. This is ridiculous especially after waiting weeks for an appt.
Amy Gallagher: I wasn’t impressed with this place from the start but I’m a pretty patient person and decided to not judge right away so I continued to take my kids here. Continued to be disappointed. First of all, one of the doctors thinks he’s in a covid wing of a hospital and is always in full blown PPE, when it’s just not necessary, and actually he’s just scaring my children. The wait time is ridiculous and had an appointment for immunizations and they didn’t even have them in stock so I lost money taking time off work to get them to a pointless appointment. The front desk is much to be desired. Not a warm or friendly environment and don’t engage with your kids. Too busy deciding what they want to order for lunch and our appointment with the PA was actually interrupted by receptionist coming into the room to ask what the PA wanted for lunch! Are you kidding me? This couldn’t have waited? And they would never let me make an appointment upon leaving for the next time. It was always “Call us as it gets closer to make your appointment.” Drove me crazy. Life is busy. People need to make their appointments before they forget about them. But no, you have to call later. And trying to get a print out of your kids’ immunizations after your appointment is painful. I usually just walk out because I don’t have time to wait for over 30 min to be handed a single piece of paper. Needless to say, my kids are not patients here anymore. I will say however that one of the medical assistants there with long, dark hair and usually calls my kids “boo” is incredible and absolutely adorable herself. Super friendly and good at what she does. She needs to sprinkle more of her fairy dust throughout that place!
Ronda Bethune: I took my son to be seen for stomach cramps, headache and loss of appetite. Thankfully we were able to be seen the same day. The nurse was very helpful in running test prior to us seeing Dr. V. After seeing the doctor we were sent home with no antibiotics only a stool sampler. The doctor had no idea of the test that the nurse previously administered. However, I'm glad that the nurse was able to identify the problem based on symptoms because the doctor had no clue. My son tested positive for strep throat. On the way home I received a call from the doctor with the results. I feel like my son would still be in pain or suffering if the nurse didn't do a good job of testing for strep, RSV and other viral infections. Good job to the nurse who was able to assist. My kids have been patients since 2010 and this place has definitely changed.
Kaitlyn Ward: We where a going to be late for today's appointment. After having to reschedule twice because of the docotrs not being in. So thank God Tanisha helped us big time by asking the doctors if we could still be seen just a few minutes after our appointment so thanks again Tanisha your the first person to actually help me after coming to this office for like 4 years. She was very kind, Helpful and understanding which helped me big time.
Rosa Bella: I won't complaint about it that much ,but the new people that work over there (the front desk) change everything. And the line always busy. Once they pick up the phone just to put you on hold forever.Well good luck
danille flores: This use to be a good pediatrician until they got Dr. V as they call him. I loved the nurse practitioner that we used to see but Dr. V makes things so difficult. Had two interactions since we had to see him and now we switched and no longer patients.
Tevo Vann: WARNING! Never experienced a pediatrician office like this. Rude, unprofessional, unorganized. A waste of time. You have been warned.
Brittney Hawkins: WHEW!!! 1 star is too much for this place honestly. I brought my kids here because it was close to where we live. Problems we came across while there is as follows: (I really hope this helps parents)1. Had my child’s previous pediatricians fax over her shot records 3x’s and they lost them! They claim they fell through the cracks. (That was the excuse) til this day we don’t know what happened.2. Scheduled appointment for immunizations. When we got there they were out of stock of 1 of the shots my child needed. We sat in the lobby for almost 2 hours waiting for proof of the immunizations she did receive. Claimed we were waiting on the nurse to put it in the system. It also seemed like I was a bother by being a responsible parent and wanting proof!! The receptionists literally do not have a good sense of customer service. Will sit there while u stand in front of them and take personal calls. Was told to call to schedule an appointment when we are standing there. What sense does that make? Finally they scheduled an appointment for us to come back for the out of stock immunization.3. Tried calling them to make sure they were in stock before our appointment the phone line was messed up couldn’t reach them. Drove there to ask… again stood in front of receptionist while they took there sweet time to acknowledge us. Finally was assured they were in stock. Told them about there phone and was ignored.4. Came to appointment only to sit in lobby for almost 2 hours after appointment time.

Dr. Taner Esensoy, MD: what do users think?
Dee: Last night, my son told us that tryouts for track are Tuesday and he needed a physical form filled out. Well, my son broke his foot in the fall so he was unable to do any sports. Even though Dr. Esensoy did his physical a few months back, I didn't have a sports physical form filled out. So I called Rainbow Peds today and talked to Christi A. and she told me that it takes up to 48 hours for forms to be filled out. Well, needless to say, I panicked because 48 business hours from now would be the day of his tryouts and the form needed to be in BEFORE then. Christi heard my panic and said to do my best to get the form to them today and that she would do HER best to get it done for me by Monday. Well, my daughter took the form to Rainbow and she walked back out with it filled out.I almost cried! My son has been bummed that he couldn't play football because he broke his foot 6 days before tryouts so I had to make this happen for him.Christi made this happen for him!!We have been taking our kids to Rainbow since 2005. It's not just the care, it's the understanding, the compassion, the above and beyond that keeps us coming back. I tell EVERYONE I know that needs a pediatrician to go to Rainbow. We were devastated when our older 3 kids turned 18 and were to old to get the best care in Fayetteville. Thank you Christi for taking care of my son today!!!!!!
