Kristopher Adema: I was originally quoted $300 dollars because I thought the rims were steel. I was corrected outside by the receptionist that my rims were cast iron. I was the quoted $100 to have my cast iron rims stripped and powder coated. When I arrived to pick up my rims I got a bill for over $350. I asked why they changed the quote they told me " part way through the powder coating process we realized youre rims had magnesium alloy in them so had to change the process." I was never contacted in any form. No call, text, or and email was recieved on my end, that they upped the price by over $250 because of there own mistake. I was backed into a corner either pay and get my rims or say I'm not paying this and then leave them there. Super unprofessional and I won't be back.

I have never had an issue with service and I have always been confident in their knowledge and performance. I have witnessed them work on a wide variety of makes, models, years and vehicular conditions. They also are very honest and wont charge you for bs like most mechanics do and dealerships do They only take cash. If you are someone who likes to support veterans, then go here because the owner is a veteran.

Jorden Haight: While there may be upsides to this place, I have not found any that make their business practices worth it. They directly lied to me. I usually really like local shops like this, but this place gives other folksy shops a bad name. Dealing with them has been a huge headache. You might have better luck, but I won't be risking it any more.The mechanic kept giving me false information about when the vehicle would be ready. Further, they said that they could easily take on a job which was actually far, far above their expertise. Rather than being upfront about their limitations, he lied to me. They kept my truck for 3 months (the initial expectation was no more than a week) with no expectation of having the skills to fix it in any reasonable professional time-frame. Along the way, they charged ever more for repairs I did not initially ask for. I feel that they aggressively talked me into repairs I did not want or need. Totaling over $1500.00 in labor and parts I was told the the vehicle was completed and available for pickup. Unfortunately, this was not the case. When started, the vehicle was overheating, the timing was off, and required a “jump” each time you wanted to start the truck because the ignition box was old and worn out. All things you would expect to be checked prior to being told your vehicle was ready and having paid $1500.00 in cash.I don't trust this place. Hopefully they improve their business practices. I'm not sure that they're necessarily bad people, I just think that they have serious communication problems and issues with being upfront. In my experience, problems tend to get bigger there, not smaller.
