Erik Hodge: Best toenail removal ever! Dr. Carter, Victoria (CCRN), Katy and Melissa are fantastic professionals and caring. Dr. Carter and Victoria removed two toenails after a botched job by Army PAs. What took two PAs and a medic, two hours with a lot of pain, Dr. Carter and Victoria did in 20 minutes with almost NO PAIN! I can now wear boots without pain!
Anna Haley: Dr. Eaton and his staff were wonderful at my appointment recently. The staff was friendly, competent and quick. I was seen within minutes of my scheduled appointment time and did not have to wait long in the room to be seen.

Dr. Carter did my surgery on Tuesday morning and told we exactly what to expect after the surgery and that meant a lot to me.. Fay: I made an appointment for my 81 year old mother her previous doctor that performed her surgery he was booked out until late November and her foot needed immediate attention so I made the appointment with Dr. Carter…. BIG BIG MISTAKE!! I never meet him before so when he walked in the room I said well you are young I was making small talk b/c my mom was scared! This doctor didn’t have any compassion AT ALL!! He was hurting my mother and she drew her foot back and was holding it with her hand well this arrogant doctor swats at my mother hand like she was a child and he did it several more times I don’t understand how you can treat an elderly woman like this he was not friendly at all if I would of reacted the way I wanted to I would of been locked up right now!!! DR.CARTER WILL NEVER EVER TREAT MY MOTHER AGAIN!! When we got in the car I asked her was she ok she said yes but he is not friendly at all I don’t understand how this office continues to let situations like this to continue to happen this is not the first complaint on this doctor!! I promise any one I know that needs that kind of service I will tell them not to go to Dr. Carter b/c he don’t give a ish!! And it shows!!
Brittany Jackson Lockamy: Dr. Mark Eaton deserves even more than 5 stars! I broke my foot over the weekend. His office was able to fit me in this morning. Rhonda, Corrina and Dr. Eaton gave me the utmost care.I was checked in, examined, X-rayed, evaluated and booted within less than an hour.I truly have never been given such wonderful care. The staff and Doctor were all extremely knowledgeable and took their time explaining everything to me.Thank you so much Dr. Eaton and staff!

I leave VM , keep calling, went personally to see Dr Thomas(hoping to schedule) and she said someone would call me within three weeks. It's been three weeks and still nothing.
Princess Harrison: All of the staff members i have met have been great except 1. The black lady who works at the front desk, mind you, the ONLY black lady at the front desk at that is disgusting. She is the rudest, ill-mannered, and insulting lady i have ever met and i can go on and on about her. She has TERRIBLE customer service and I have not one clue on how she got her job acting the way she does. As a black women myself, it hurts seeing other black women act like this. To everyone else, please keep up the good work because God don’t like ugly!
Sandra Young: As a diabetic I've been going to this practice for years I've seen most of if not all of the Dr's there and they all work together to come up with the best treatment plan for you specifically. Dr. Lout and Dr Bermudez are my favorites. Dr. Carter, an awesome surgeon, did my most recent surgery and the hospital surgical team was outstanding and professional. They gave me pointers about using ice packs. It was a game changer for my pain. Hope, who is Dr Carter’s assistant, mentioned something which made me go see my heart and leg Doctor. Because of her compassion I went and got the other treatment I needed. Jay in wound care trains other people doing their residency, as do all the other Doctors there. The front desk staff is very organized and friendly. They deserve raises.Even their bathrooms are clean. I recommend this practice if you want to get the best treatment around Fayetteville.
Yamile Nazar: Dr. H. Colton Carter performed the same procedure that I previously had with another podiatrist and I had a totally different experience. Dr. Carter was awful. He was disconnected to my daughter who was his patient. He administered anesthesia shots, left the room for such a long time that the anesthesia had to be again administered. Then he tied some rubber band around the base of her toe so tightly that she was in an astronomical amount of pain. He again left for so long that I finally had to remove the band from around her toe. With all this anesthesia, she was still in horrible pain throughout the procedure. Dr. Carter did not seem to care or be bothered by the amount of pain he was putting my daughter through. Don't use this "Doctor" and keep your kids away from him, too.

Her partner Dr carter did an amazing job on fixing my flat foot removing my bones that were fused together and releasing my tendon that was tight. Thank you for taking good care of me throughout this journey. I would recommend these doctors but not dr bermudez he did nothing for me!!!
Aliesha Stewart: I just had my service today for ingrown toe nail on both toes. It was done by Dr. Bermudez. He was very informative and answered any questions I had. It was a quick procedure est. 20 mins, and he made sure everything was pulled. It was not a messy procedure at all. The staff was welcoming as I entered and the assistant was great as well. I will update after a week. My healing process is 2-3 weeks so let’s see how this goes!!!

David Dingus: I was admitted in Cape Fear Valley Hospital, for a pressure ulcer on my foot. Dr Lauit cleaned the infection up, and they determined that a piece of bone was causing the ulcer, so Dr Hugh Carter did the surgery to remove the bon . I had previously had major surgery on this foot but foot and ankle surgeon with over 30 years experience Dr Carter was very unprofessional in his approach, he talk trash about my previous surgery and the surgeon. Dr Carter is 2 years out of residency.I truly believe that the surgeon who did my major surgery knows quite a bit more than Dr Carter.The treatment by the other doctors that came to my room a treated my foot were almost as bad. no professionalism what so ever .My advice is to run away from Cape Fear Podiatry and seek professional acting doctors.
Dan Wilkinson: Wife requested her health records 1.5 months ago with no results and "lots" of excuses!Wife went to Cape Fear Podiatry Associates (Dr. Mark Eaton) in early April and filled out the request form to get a copy of her podiatry health records, they told her that the request had to go to Medical Solutions center for all Cape Fear records. After waiting 1.5 months for these records, she contacted Dr. Eaton’s office about the copy of her records and why the delay in receiving them; the front desk clerk gave her the phone# to Medical Solutions and she called them and they said that they have not received a request for her records from Cape Fear Podiatry. She was getting upset now! She called me - her husband and told me what she was told so, I went to Dr. Eaton’s office on May 13th and explained what Medical Solutions had said about not receiving the request form for the copies. The front desk clerk said that’s right, we have “not” sent the request to Medial Solutions yet, because we have not had the time to submit the request to them. I said to the front desk clerk that you have had the request for over one month, how long does it take to submit this request. She said they don’t have enough people working there and that it will be a while before they could submit the records. Now I am getting more upset. The wife and I decided to do the right thing and work through channels within Cape Fear Valley Hospital (since they are affiliated them) to see if anyone can help us to get my wife's medical records and resolve this issue. Can anyone help us!!!! Fantastic Update (16 May 2019) I contacted Cape Fear Valley Hospital Patient Relations Dept. Care Manager (Ms. Michelle) and explained to her our situation with not getting my wife's medical records and she contacted Cape Fear Podiatry Associates and within 20 minutes I was receiving phone calls from CFVH Care Manager and Ms. Jill from Cape Fear Podiatry apologizing for the delay in getting my wife's records and telling me that I can pickup her records in the next. I went and picked them up and thanked the staff there. (Case Closed) Thanks Again Ms. Michelle with Patient Relations at Cape Fear Valley Hospital.
