Bajan Beauty: Today was my first time here. Sad to hear they are closing down soon. Yet glad I was able to experience these wonderful flavors of popcorn before they move. I chose the Oreos Popcorn. Hopefully, I can return a few more times before that last day.
Nancy Rawlings: Loved the selections. Prices were somewhat high but did have a special of buy 3 and I got another bag for free. They sold other items such as yummy looking carmel apples. I bought a bag of white cheddar, 2 bags of toffee and got a Carmel for free. The store was very neat and clean There was also other specials listed. The clerk was very informative and helpful.

BreazzyBre: So I seen the owner post a tik Tok recenlty and saw that she had a new flavor that looked so good blackberry something. Now Im not one to try new flavors but still wanted to support. So I purchased 5 different flavors; sweet heat, cheddar, spicy cheddar, and Carmel and cheese mix. When I tell you all the flavors I received were super delicious and the popcorn was fresh which was a surprise since Im all the way in St. Louis. I ordered all small bags and the bags were filled to max capacity. Lastly I would just like to take the Carmel in the cheese mix is just heavenly and wish I would have ordered just Carmel by itself. Some places Carmel is very heavy and its so much in the mix that you have to buy more cheese to go with the Carmel. However this Carmel is has a butter taste and its so light! I will most definitely be placing future orders. Thank you!!!

My daughter and I have this shop on our mommy daughter day list and we don't miss a beat! I look forward to seeing all the new popcorn flavors and taking them home to a movie! They have a great variety of snacks and sizes! I beg of you if you are a popcorn lover and haven't tried HSP go now you will not want to go anywhere else! There was another company in Fayetteville (colonel popcorn) that was similar but they are no longer in business, if you loved Colonel Popcorn you will ADORE HSP!

Jessica Florez: I came in last night and they were getting ready to close ( I didn’t realize that when I walked in). The employee smacked her lips and was breathing loud. She said “I’m trying to close.” Obviously we left. I know it is frustrating when someone comes in just before closing, but just the way she acted does not give me any reason to come back. I recently had some of their popcorn from another store that sold it and it was really good. Unfortunately, I can order popcorn online straight to my door just as easily, without the attitude.
Dawn Fields: FTR I have had the popcorn before and it's delicious. This was my first time in the store and the worker was terrible. I ordered my popcorn, paid and then the worker disappeared. Once she reappeared she accepted an instacart delivery. Then she disappeared again to wash her hands then another customer came in that she began to help with a large order then when I asked for a refund she had to disappear again to get help. So bottom line I never got popcorn and I won't come back to this store.

I got a small almost medium bag of popcorn and a cupcake for less than $10. I got the kettle corn flavor. It's not the same color as fresh out the copper kettle but it tastes like it! 😋😋 If I visit Fayetteville again, this is a Must stop!

Chris, Don't worry about it: This place is really good! The only problem I have is that they go behind some kind of screen to mix...I guess, and bag your popcorn. It is a little pricey, but the flavors are tasty and plentiful. Overall, Hot Sugar Pop is worth it, but I think they would do better if they had someone, where everyone could see, making fresh popcorn in a big copper kettle.

She rang my food up and took my money with a scowl on her face. I told her to have a nice day but still no response. Her name was Audrey. Next time she needs to stay in office until she's ready to serve customers.
Mark's Tunes: I went to buy broccoli for broccoli cheddar soup. They had 3 stalks. I asked the produce clerk for "fresh", he told me none was delivered. I broke the BROWN stalks off what they had and went to self-checkout. I called the attendant bc they didn't have the code in the register computer. She was the M.O.D. (mgr on duty), she upcharged the bag bc I had removed the brown stems. I offered to walk her back to produce and show her what was there. She was very rude. I gave her the bag and drove to another Food Lion. They were stocked much better.

Also, there is a lot of supposed healthy processed stuff that I just can't get myself to fall for. It is clean and the workers seem a bit happier than Walmart or Food Lion so there is some value there.

Shirley Blue: I use to like coming to this store to only get item quick. Since I've been getting other items, I noticed a lot of the items best sell by date is over two years old or more and very expensive compare to other Asian stores. Just beware when a store is rarely busy..expect old items and you will also notice that there are no prices on the products in the store. She know all the prices by memory...I never know what I'll pay until she rings up the items.

Amy Black: Very rude. She asked if she could help then took me to the wrong item but insisted it was the right item, even after I showed her a picture. I couldn't read the language on the package so I took her word for it. But after I got home I realized it is not what I told her I was looking for. At the register I handed her my bank card to pay and she pointed to the sign that said cards required a $10 minimum purchase. So I said no problem we'll buy 2 of the item I was purchasing ($6.50 each). And the lady looked us dead in the face and said she wanted to go home as if we were taking up her time even though the sign on the door said they were open. And now that I'm home I see she has not only wasted MY time but i paid $13 for the wrong items, so she has also caused me to waste my money. I will never go back there and I suggest no one else go either.

Charles Moore: I stopped by this shop on my walk back to my house after eating next door. It has been several years since I shopped there, but as I'd recently moved back to the area I wanted to see what was available. Immediately on entering the business the lady working seemed annoyed I was there. When she asked what I needed I explained the situation and she just glared at me. I browsed for a couple minutes and was excited when I found the tea sets. Mine recently cracked so I need a new one. Suddenly she was there beside me and I said, "I like these sets, mine was recently broken so I need a new one". Before I could ask a question she poked me in the side and told me I needed to leave. A total of four minutes in the store and I was ready to spend $40 but I never got the opportunity. It was a pretty tea set too.
