R Dg: Very disappointed. This place was recommended by a friend. Should have gone to a big box store. At least then my expectations would have been lower. Expected delivery 11/22/22 on my new washer purchased a week earlier. I was the first one set on their chart from 3-5pm time slot. I had to move items in my storage shed to allow them space to get into the small area. I temporarily put the junk under the carport anticipating putting it back after they finished install. Then I waited. At 5 pm on my satellite set clock, I walked out the door after having sat there for 2 hours waiting for them. I just went for a walk up and down the street within view of my house in case they showed up. They called at 5:05 pm as recorded by my answering machine. None of this is a problem. With the pandemic fallout, you really take what you can get right now and are just happy to see people working. When I called them back at 5:22, I was told that their delivery people had called me an hour earlier and no one answered. WRONG. They lied about me. I had been sitting on my couch waiting for them. So now instead of saying "we're sorry, we will set you up for first thing tomorrow" in essence acknowledging their mistake. They were blaming me for their "screw up". Also they then said we will set you up for tomorrow after lunch. I should have been first on their delivery schedule for that day. It might have pushed their people for today's deliveries behind a bit, but it doesn't take that long to set up a washer and it would have been good customer service. I then had to put all my stuff back in the shed and now again I am having to wait on them until after lunch whenever that will be. I am not expecting much now. I also currently need a new refrigerator. I will NOT be purchasing it from them. Don't expect more from them than a big box store, that was my mistake.Finally delivered. At least the gentleman who delivered it was very nice and personable.

He could have sold me a dryer that I didn't need, instead he sent his repair man to repair my dryer. He really saved me money. I am on a fixed income. S Bear: I recently had a terrible experience with a different local appliance company who failed to diagnose and fix my washer correctly. As a last resort, I contacted Major Appliance who sent a technician named Willy to look at my washer. Willy took his time, watched a complete cycle, and listened to my explanation of the issue. Willy informed me of what could’ve been causing the issue and ordered the part. After he replaced the part, he stayed and ran a cycle to ensure that it was working properly. He also took the time to educate me about the part and how it effects the washer. So far so good! My washer is now running flawlessly again, thanks to Willy being thorough and having a great attention to detail. He was a complete opposite from the other company who just rushed through to make a quick buck. Thank you and kudos to you Willy!!!
Kayleigh M: Scheduled for them to come out between 10-2, At 145pm they called to rescheduled due to the truck having issues. Totally understandable. Rescheduled for the following week between 9-10. At 1002 I called cause no show. Was told it was between 10-12 and they were already out for delivery. The person on the phone had no remorse or anything from the frustration, he just said “just reschedule”. I took off of work for 2 days for this. Not okay. Don’t use. Especially if you are a rental company.

Michelle Carte: Had to get a new washer as my old one of 10 years died. When we purchased our last set we did so at a small hometown appliance store (out of state) and that experience taught us to go back to an appliance store instead of the big box stores. I am so happy we did. The customer service during the purchase was pleasant and easy. The two delivery men were both very pleasant and friendly. They arrived on time, took out the old set and brought in the new. The whole process was maybe 30-40 min at most and I was ready to wash! We decided to go with the Speed Queens for their longevity and durability (the old set were front loads and both had been serviced during their 10 year life). The speed queens we purchased have an included 7 year parts and labor warranty-so that was a nice bonus. I’ve washed everything I possibly could over the weekend to test theses workhorses out and I must say I am completely satisfied. A new fridge is next on my list and I will return to Major Appliance for that as well.

Mickey Phillips: Poor customer service- I requested service for our tenant's refrigerator and the tech went out quickly and diagnosed the issue. While onsite he called me and explained his findings and quoted the repairs. I gave him the approval over the phone however no work could be scheduled until the initial service call was paid. (I have to admit that is kind of odd since most repair companies go out diagnose the issue, get approval on repairs and bill once the repair is made.) We had to call twice for the initial invoice to be sent so we could have our bookkeeper send a payment and work scheduled. On our second call we let them know once they received payment to please reach out and schedule the repair. No contact was ever made. We have sent emails and even called again to verify the payment had been received and to request them to schedule service which they said they would. Still yet no contact has been made. This is now going on for six months. I called last week to get an update and was told I would need to speak to the owner. I called again today. Every time I'm told the owner is out of the office or on the phone. I stayed on hold for 20 minutes today hoping to get this issue resolved before being put to voicemail without anyone coming back to the line. Once I tried calling back they put me directly to voicemail. At the end of the day I would have called another vendor for service but this one had already be out and charge the diagnostic fee, knows the issue and parts needed. I would never recommend this company for service and will take them from our approved vendors list for our property management company and real estate services. This is the first review I have ever made but service or care for the customer is so bad people should know.

Natasha Clifton: My experience started via phone with his assistant. She was extremely patient with me and my many questions. I arrived at the store and her polite ways continued. Mr. Lee himself arrived at the store and took over the transaction. I was pleasantly surprised because it was evident that he was busy. However, he never once rushed. He patiently showed me several refrigerators and the differences between them. Pros and cons etc. He educated me throughly on things I had no clue about. Naturally he cared about a sale but he made me as a buyer feel that he cared more that I didn’t keep making the same costly mistakes!Delivery and set up went just as smooth. They called the day before, an hour before and the guys called when they arrived in my neighborhood. The guys were polite and efficient.All in all my experience with this establishment was commendable. Thank you Mr. Lee and staff!!!
Linwood Grant: Appliances look great. I went in looking for a used refrigerator. I todd the man that I needed one with working water and ice maker. He showed me one for $650. I asked about a warranty. He told me all his Appliances come with a 90 day warranty. So I buy the refrigerator and paid another $125. to deliver it and pick up the one I was replacing.The next day I tried to get a glass of ice. No ice. When I called they told me the warranty did not cover the ice maker. What kind of bull is that?

He’s super personable and said all the right things - I was thrilled to buy from him, support his business and save some money! i bought a fridge from him, and within two days I realized the freezer gasket has a buckle that lets out all the cold air and drips water on my floor and that the fridge door won’t stay closed.I’m kicking myself for not knowing what to check out before I purchased. When I called he said “everything was just fine with it in the shop, and if the door is too heavy maybe don’t put any food on it” which basically means don’t use the fridge as intended and maybe it will be ok.Asked if he could come check it out (at this point, still under warranty) he said he was short staffed and to call him back in two weeks and maybe he could find some time, All in all I’m so disappointed and really hope people don’t waste their money, because that “deal” from Lee’s appliance just means you’ll need to spend it twice.

When the refrigerator was delivered the doors was not put on correctly and took over two weeks to get him out to solve the problem. The stove worked perfectly until 3 days after the warranty and went completely out so that was a $500 loss and now the washer is starting to mess up now that the warranty is up on that also. Spent over $1,500 on junk would have been better off sacrificing and buying everything new

Larenzo Johnson: Horrible customer service and no communication skills. Completely unprofessional. We had purchased a washer and dryer 12/26 for $825.00 . We where told they would be delivered and installed 12/28 at 0930 . We waited until 944 am and called them because no one showed or called ahead of time to let us know they where going to be late. No one answered so we left a message. They then called and said they where running late at will be here at 11:40 am , 11:40 am came around and again no showed and no call to let us know anything. We then called back again and ended up getting in an argument because we asked for a refund of the delivery service and the Man on the phone said no and accused my wife of lying that she didn’t call. ( we have the call logs showing we did ). If this was any other day it wouldn’t have been a major issue but we scheduled a fews days ahead of time and an early time because we had to be somewhere else by 12:15 so this was a complete inconvenience. In the end result we don’t have our washer and dryer and had to reschedule for the third time .
Greggory Thompson: 1st Appointment for dishwasher he was a no show. 2nd appointment was supposed to be a repair or replacement for dishwasher he showed up and just looked at the old one, no repair or replacement as scheduled. 3rd appoint was scheduled for between 2-4, no show, called, He couldnt and wouldnt say what time he would be there. There wont be a 4th appointment. Horrible customer service. 12-12-2020.

SAN Mclean: Tried to give this place a chance and purchased a washer for $350, got home, didn't work but thank God for the 3 month warranty. They told me I had to bring the washer back (another 45 min drive). Replaced it, 2 months later, its not working either. Attention owner: please close down and regroup, take pride in your business, get trained workers to refurbish the equipment you are selling especially if you are not willing to give customers their money back....Your name is all you got!!!

Natalie Sola Garcia: Just so people can actually see my rating.I rate them a 2 because I should have received a washer and dryer set I paid for on Wednesday by Thursday. They came at 6pm when I was told between 11am-2pm. When that didn’t happened I was told before 4pm that Thursday was fine. I’ve been waiting Friday and Saturday ALL DAY for me to get them. Today they are closed (Sunday) although their store ours say open today. I just want my money back at this point so I can spend it somewhere that I will receive the product. The owner offered to upgrade the set that I bought after the delivery guys just dumped it off and snuck out the back door( LITERALLY) then told me they would be right back in 10 minutes but NEVER returned at ANY point. I have to turn the dryer off by turning the dial to 20 mins on timed dry. If the dryer is running and I open the door the dryer keeps going(the clothes keep turning). The dryer runs for hours and hours like 6 or 7! I found out today from the owner Chubb that he knew that the washer and dryer was messed up the entire time and he allowed it to be delivered after he himself sold it to me. The owners idea of an “extended warranty and offer to upgrade” is never even repairing the dryer that he KNEW was malfunctioning BEFORE and AFTER he sold it to me and basically charging me for a whole new set but taking off $100. It would be nice if the saying “ you get what you pay for” applied but with them you’ll definitely get wayyy LESS than you you pay for.
Rachel Lauren Aman: Great experience with next day delivery! They were able to take out my old broken washing machine and replace it with the new. I have a small laundry room and they had to move my dryer to get everything in and out and they did it no problem and no complaints. They accommodated my later delivery time, too! Very much appreciated!
Katrice McCall: Bought this dryer in March of this year, it works on and off when it wants to. Been trying to get someone to come out to work on it or exchange it but instead they keep saying they’ll swap it out the following business day. Every time I call, they say they’ll swap it out for a different one the following business day. This is ridiculous and very unprofessional being as though it’s been two whole weeks that I’ve been trying to get someone to come get this dryer and bring me a different one. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone nor will I purchase here again!
