Service Shoe Shop: what do users think?
Maria Motta: Best service and customer service.
Harold M: This Shop Has Been Sowing Military Patches Onto My Leather, Felt And Straw Cowboy Hats. They Have Done Over 15 Hats For Me And All Were Expertly And Professionally Done, Creating A Very Beautiful And Unique Hat. I Get Continuous Daily Positive Compliments On My Hats. Would Recommend This Shop On The Highest Level.Harold A. McAdoo DDSCol/Ret/U S Army
Jose Lopez: The shop repair 4 pair of my cleats before a big tournament and I am happy with the work.
Vera Conteh: I had a pair of UGGS, as a gift from New York. I brought them to the Service Shoe Shop and you can not tell that a New York Rat had chewed them for lunch!!! Awesome job guys!! I love them😇
Phillip Hall: Had my shoes for 3 weeks, I called and they had lost my shoes, I called back a week later, they found them and they had not been touched. Wanted to keep them, I went down and picked them up. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!
Mae Johnson: Just picked up a pair of shoes that I had repaired at Service Shoe Shop very pleased with repair and service.I will be doing business with them in the future
dkdiva katrena: they were only suppose to put new taps on my shoes. They chip the heel of both shoes beyond repair. I have been going back for the last 2 weeks to speak with owner but now the store is always closed. The lady who took in my shoe for repair tried to polish the chips and I explained polish will not fix it. I was told to bring my shoes back for a redo. I have no idea what they plan on redoing. I would not recommend this place to anyone. My next action will be legal action. They damage a $300 pair of shoes with no remorse! Please do not waste your money at this place.
Jeffrey Williams: Has had a pair of my wife's boots and a purse for a year now. Keeps giving excuses and promising to fix them. Tired of the lies. Picking up next week. Very unorganized.
Tricia Everett: I left my shoes there for 5 weeks and they never even touched them! I called 3 times to see if they were ready and was told each time they would be ready soon. I eventually just went and picked them up and took them elsewhere. The lady never even said she was sorry. Horrible business, in my opinion.
Jodi Carroway: Love yall, glad you around.
Stephanie S: Obviously, They never learned the golden rule: Honesty is the best policy. When I went in, I explained that I was trying to salvage a pair of shoes for a wedding if possible. The shoes had a lot of nicks in the color from wear and tear. When I went to pick the shoes up, one was out of the bag. The employee tried to convince me that I told her that the flower was falling apart. Long story short: the flower was barely holding on, with wet glue, and missing petals. I would have rather her told me the truth instead of trying to pass the shoes off as being in the same condition.
Karan Garg: Rare to see a shoe repair shop in times like these
Paula Cardoso: the worst experience ever! I went to the Service Shoe Shop to see if they could repair two of my purses. one of my bags, just needed the handles replaced, the other one, needed a clean, a logo stitched back on, and some of the metal pieces attached to the bag, were a little tarnished. I called beforehand, and asked if they repaired purses, the lady who answered the phone said they did. I took my bags, explained what I needed done, and gave the $15 deposit that she requested. she told me that she would replace the handles, that she would stitch the logo back on, and that she would clean them. she called me two or three days later and told me that my bags were ready. I walked in yesterday to pick up my bags; and I gave her my ticket. first, it took her a good 10 minutes to find my bags. when she finally found them, she had them in a plastic grocery bag. she then starts to explain to me what she did. on my first bag, that just needed the handles replaces, all she did was cut off a piece of the original handles, then stitched a piece of stretchy black material to it. did I mention that one of my handles still had the needle that she used, inside of it??! then, on my second bag, she glued the logo back on it, instead of stitching it back on; which everybody knows, completely ruins the material of the bag!! for the tarnished metal, she SPRAY PAINTED gold! she didn't even bother to remove the handles first, she just spray painted the whole thing gold!! she obviously did not wait for the paint to dry because the gold spray paint is now all over my black bag and all over the plastic bag that she had them in. needless to say, my bags are now ruined. I will not be returning to such a horrible place and if anyone ever asks me for a reputable shoe/bag repair shop, I will NOT speak highly of this place. take your bags or purses someplace else, unless you want them ruined beyond repair.
CIAA Maniac: Called this place just to get a price quote and the person who answered the phone refused to give a quote. i asked for a ballpark range, he stated "none". Every other business i called asked "one shoe or two" and/or "stitch or glued" then they gave a price RANGE.

SOS Boot Shop and military surplus and training packing list: what do users think?
Chris P: Fair pricing. Man was nice.
Mike Anderson: This family [shop] is incredible. The turn around times for dry cleaning and sewing are lighting fast, not to mention high-quality. On top of that, they have every packing list item you would need from Ranger School to Selection. Whenever I need help, I go to S.O.S. because I know I can count on them.
Travis Gardner: Had exactly what i need, great customer service as well!
Jay H: They charge way too much for sewing patches on uniforms. They act like the AGSU is more difficult to sew. I think they just take advantage of their location and uninformed Soldiers. It’s their prerogative to do so but I found a place within a mile and spent a third of what they charge.
She'Kailah Davis: I highly recommend selling or buying here! They took the stuff that no one else would buy at a fair price from me on Yadkin (leftover CIF gear) at a really great price!!
Muh James: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueJust had to get some sewing done for a few uniforms, and they were able to get them done before the end of the day. The service here is quick and carefully tended to. I couldn’t ask for more.
Cynthia Williams: My husband who is civilian and stopped in to look at the waterproof army jackets. The guy was very rude. Told him the price. My husband asked to look at it and the man quickly told him he didn’t need that because he was a civilian. That had nothing to do with it. If they don’t sell to civilians then put a sign up that says that. My husband told him that was fine, he’d go somewhere else.
Lance Beisley: The old man has a terrible attitude and likes to refuse service over the most petty reasons. I mean PETTY - one time I asked him if he would accept a slightly discounted price for a set of used OCPs (he was charging the same amount as on post for a brand new set) and he got in my face and was so angry he turned red. It's actually kind of funny, almost everyone I know has had a memorable experience with him. I stopped shopping here a while ago, it's just not worth it.
Justine Abramski: Prices are alright, not a huge selection but it's well organized and worth the stop.
Taylor Maki: Sold me a broken rhino mount for $69
Hayes McDowell: Great people and great store!
Bill Kaminsky: Need a zipper replaced on my work boot, quick turnaround. Reasonably priced. Highly recommend this business.
Dan Chapmen: Has everything you could ask for in a off base shop
v l: They always have everything and anything you need every day of the week!
Kaisha: Critical:ProfessionalismFirst time being yelled at for a mistake the merchant made. The owner is quick to yell... at the customer... due to the cashier charging too much. During his ranting he is also misunderstanding that I have more items that I purchased and continues to fuss. Realizing his mistake, there is no apology given.
Shane Winford: This has been my go-to shop for uniforms and gear since I got to Bragg.
Evan Robinson: Brought my husbands dress blues in so they could dry clean and put all the ribbons, insignias, and ribbons and cords on. They told me he had the wrong cord which they were wrong about. They argued with me saying no I bought the wrong cord and they are right. 😡. Told me my husbands one thing on his uniform was full and changed it out for the wrong one. Said it was gonna cost $61 ended up charging me $99.51. I don’t suggest coming here they aren’t the greatest. Like to argue and over charge you.
Great Warrior: They do the best SOPC Special to Army issue boots around, but I wouldn't go there for anything else.
Luiz de Souza: Bad attitude, over priced. Refused to sell to me when I was comparing prices to other stores. Lost my business today due to garbage professionalism. There are way better stores in this town
Andrew Ochoa: They know exactly what you need and also have very good prices. Their sewing is also top of the line.
Shelby Wadkins: Charged $30 to shine my husbands boots and I was able to pick them up the next day.
