Richard Copeland: Dr Prag is a God send. My wife and I would recommend him and his staff 200% to anyone needing surgery or a second opinion. I was referred to him by another surgeon. During our first meeting he spent an hour with my wife and I explaining some ins and outs of cancer and how to treat my type. He covered everything from a to z. The news was tough to here, and I felt like he said everything that needed to be said. I also feel he was compassionate and explained everything clearly so I could understand it. One of the things he insisted on was a second opinion which I appreciated. When I had my surgery he and his support staff checked in on me regularly. His office staff also went and are still above and beyond trying to help me work out all my appointments.

Chip Grammer: My wife has metastatic breast cancer and we have spent over a year and a half going through chemo therapy and radiation. I have been with my wife on the vast majority of her visits. My assessment is that never in all my years as a Pastor have I seen a more caring, committed and talented team than I have seen at the Cape Fear Valley Cancer Center. My wife has seen Dr. Manning a PA Kathy Jones, and I knew something was special when during our first visit Dr. Manning took the first 30 minutes to find out about my wife - no discussion of cancer - just about who she was and her outlook on life. That caring attitude has permeated every aspect of her treatment regimen. The nurses who administer the chemo are handpicked for their sensitivity and compassion. The set up of the oncology center where chemo is received allows four patients and family members to sit in proximity allowing for conversation. During those times a lot of love and information is passed between patients and families. It gave great comfort to my wife at the beginning of her journey when she didn't know what to expect. Later, it enabled her to dispel fears of new patients and families as they began their journey. On the radiation side of the house my wife was treated with the same kind of compassion and care. Dr. Bryan and PA Seffels and the rest of the crew knew their stuff but more importantly, treated my wife as a person and not a number. We are done with radiation and the major chemo part of the journey and have to return every three weeks for a hormonal infusion - for the rest of her life. I would strongly encourage everyone in the local area to carefully consider Cape Fear Valley Cancer Center before heading to the big name hospitals up the road. We have been totally pleased with every aspect of her treatment.

I waited over an hour only for the lady to tell me they no longer accept my insurance. The doctor is amazing but the lady at the front desk is very rude in the way that she speaks to people .
