Brandon Last: So me and my wife went here and we were the only people there. We had to go out of our way to ask for something as simple as more water, the staff is in a kitchen right behind you being loud and yelling during casual conversation and the food was ok at best. Not to mention the tables are aggressively sticky. The reason we weren’t served even though we were the only table is because the staff would rather mop floors and spray cleaner right next to our table 45 minutes before the restaurant even closes. Only reason I’m giving this 2 stars is because the sushi was good. Outside of that all around terrible experience.

We went for my partners early birthday dinner with my in laws.In Laws have never been to a sushi restaurant. And this being one of our favorites and the nice quiet atmosphere was perfect for their first time.We ordered the Fried Wontons and Gyoza appetizer, on point like always. Nice and crunchy and flavorful. I wish I knew what exactly was on the sauce they give with the fried wontons because it’s amazingly delicious.MIL had the Onion soup for the first time and she loved it.FIL got the Ribeye, Shrimp and Chicken Hibachi and that man was in heaven. MIL got the Chicken and Shrimp and she was super excited about having enough for lunch the next day.Now onto the Sushi… like always it was delicious.Not pictured as the Spicy Tuna Kobachi. The spicy tuna with the kobachi sauce on the crispy wonton was amazing and delicious.Crazy Tuna Roll is one of my favorites as it has the spicy tuna but a crunch on it as well. My MIL tried it and she liked it!! I also did the Tokyo roll and it like always was perfect and perfectly fried.My partner did the Fort Bragg roll and he was so impressed, his own Crazy Tuna roll (I won’t share mine) and shrimp tempura rolls.We always get water when we dine out. But we’ve tried their sake on a previous visit and it was delicious. They have different ones with different flavor profiles that are definitely worth trying.

Mariah matter: Customer Service was terrible. Wasn’t busy at all, practically empty and still took forever for our meals. One of our meals was completely wrong but they didn’t correct it or offer anything else and still charged us for it. This place is decent for its ambience BUT I would not recommend this place to anyone. The waiter or the manager had no concept of customer service.

Love Bonita: It was me and my BF 1st time coming. I got shrimp bowl and it came with only two pieces of broccoli and my bf chicken bowl came with 2 pieces of broccoli as well. Aaron Plank: It's probably the worst experience I have had at a Chinese place. I am almost never negative, but when I say my dog could have seasoned the food more, I am not exaggerating. I had to load my "fried" rice with soy sauce because it tasted blander than white rice and took my main dish home to recook it with some flavor. Their salmon for sushi is about 90% fat. Buffet sushi has better ingredients. Had really high hopes for the place because of reviews, but both our dishes and sushi were worse than the frozen food I eat.

Cheryl Siler: If I could give zero stars I would. Spent 50 dollars. I got steak n rice. Steak had weird texture, wouldn’t even give to my dogs, went straight into trash. Rice was bland. Got egg drop soup tasted like eggs floating around in water absolutely no flavor in the broth. My daughter got seaweed salad, not even sure what it actually was. Looked like pieces of cooked grass and again no flavor at all. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Bomie Lee: My husband and I have had a love and hate relationship with this place. We used to love eating here until things slowly started going downhill. We took a long break before giving it another try, to which changed our mind for the better. Again, we started going to Sushi Court several times afterwards, only to stop going after terrible service and an attitude from our waitress.We haven’t come back, but we decided to give the place another chance once again. What a mistake.The first thing we noticed were the changes in the menu. On first glance, it looked rather nice, until opening the menu and being unable to read ANYTHING as all the words in the center menu look as though they have been printed with low resolution. Everything looked so pixelated!My husband and I both ordered a chicken bento box, to which we knew came with a choice of soup and salad dressing. Our waitress said nothing about our options, but stared and waited. I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt, so I merely confirmed it with her on whether or not the bento box did come with soup and salad. She said yes, but said nothing else afterwards.As we were waiting for our meal after ordering, my husband and I could barely hold a conversation with each other due to the loud music playing and the tv, which was playing an episode of Rick and Morty and something with sperm.Soon our orders slowly came. We did order two sushi rolls. Mine was some kind of eel roll, which I thought tasted quite good. My husband ordered the yum yum roll, which was very underwhelming and tasted like nothing but cucumbers. Quite a disappointment.Our miso soup was ok, we finished that. We barely ate anything from the bento boxes however since everything tasted like “hot towels” (as my husband said). There was no flavor and all the sauces looked very watered down, especially the ginger dressing.We asked for our check, but our waitress didn’t ask if we wanted a to go box even after we paid. We wouldn’t have wanted one anyways, but still, it was more of the idea that asking a customer if they wanted a box or not seemed pretty important especially if a customer had leftovers of any amount left.Overall, a very disappointing experience and definitely will be our last here. No more chances as we deeply regretted giving Sushi Court yet another chance today.

When Nicole was here they have always been very accommodating of wanting privacy while breastfeeding and sat me in back. Today I requested the privacy and manager Twon was very rude after having us sat was speaking to the server “I don’t have time for them” I asked the server to give the owner my phone number of course he had to let the manager know. She approached our table she seemed very hostile while towering over me and my child and I told her I would talk to the owner. She continued to argue while moving her hands about while I repeatedly told her I would just like to have the owner call me.

I waited 45 minutes AFTER my pick-up time to get cold wontons and warm sushi.. my coca-cola was good, carbonated. And the mochi ice cream was good but not my favorite thing in the world. The only "great" thing about this visit was, I didn't have to pay for my drink. I was pretty disappointed in this visit but maybe they were having an off night.. I have no clue.

Bran F.: I love this place. I got the yum yum roll without eel sauce. ( no pictures taken because I was starving ) and my husband got — *I think* — the Dragon Roll? These are by no means rolls that are dainty. They’re about the size of a Hardee’s biscuit. Even my infants loved eating from our plates, and they got chopsticks from one of the staff to play drums with. We will be back again and again!
Bando: Great, authentic hibachi food. Definitely a place that I love to go when you’re looking for a quick bite. All of the ragoons, egg rolls and vegetables are cut and made by hand, so the food is always fresh affordable prices and one of my favorite local food or in the city

Elizabeth Saunders: I have been getting the sushi here for almost three years and I have never had any issues or mishaps until today, but luckily it was resolved with thanks to the manager! I have eaten in, had take out, and had delivery from here and the sushi has always been fresh and the hibachi has always been scrumptious. Today, I had a grub hub order and when it was delivered, one of my sushi rolls was missing. I called Ichiban express, and the manager answered, and personally drove and delivered the sushi roll that was missing from my order. What amazing service! I highly recommend this place for reasonably priced, fresh and yummy sushi, as well as very good hibachi. I will keep on ordering from here as they have great service, fresh and tasty food, and are in a great location for me to order food from! Thanks for all your help Ichiban Express! :)

Chicken tempura was tougher than a timing belt, shrimp tempura tasted like chicken, and the chicken wings no matter what flavor you get are all yellow once you bite into it... hard pass on everything but the Tea. They do not take pride in their food and it shows.

Dre'a: This location is better than the one on cliffdale and Raeford rd intersection near the Large Walmart. You can still tell they’re trying to keep their $.15 with the sauce due to thinness but was more flavorful than the other location. I got the Hibachi shrimp and steak combination medium rare, which was more medium but still good except I felt I got more veggies. I’m assuming you get less shrimp but a larger shrimp and the way it’s perfectly placed you’ll Think you’re getting more shrimp, surprise, lol. Overall friendly and I’ll Go Back!!Never go to Shogun on Rielly rd, NEVER!!!// 11/11 purchased steak and shrimp, requested medium rare and got Well Done. Not much soy sauce but plenty of pepper, my veggies was underneath my sides😤 giving the allusion it’s more but not! The steak egg roll, save your money… overall Not satisfied, I need to find Better consistent Hibachi… Once again Missing Sriracha sauce and duck sauce and now has started thinning the white sauce

Betty Rankin: I order delivery and it was terrible. I ordered tempura veg in teriyaki shrimp and an egg roll. The tempura tasted as if had been cooked and left out to long. The shrimp was over fried and dry as was the egg roll. The worst 25 dollars I wasted. DO NOT HAVE IT DELIVERED!!

Although there is seating if you chose to dine in, its not enough for large groups so to say. Overall, a decent place to grab a quick bite.
Emily Newton: I saw a lot of mixed reviews and felt compelled to share my experience. I have eaten here MANY times. Always excellent food. I usually get hibachi filet. Others in my family order different things and have all had positive experiences with their food, as well. The staff are always polite, ordering is easy, and wait is reasonable (usually 10-15 min). Taste is of course subjective, but this is my favorite Japanese place in town.
Janice Franklin: Food have zero flavor and this is their version of hibachi rice…smh.. no vegetables, small portion, no flavor but you pay full price. I’ll stick to the one by FoodLion.
Zane Fritts: Was told that I had to pay for vegetables separately from the rice when ordering hibachi. Was charged per vegetable and my boss ordered the same thing and it came with vegetables so they over charged me purposely. Quality is very poor, one plate of hibachi steak with normal vegetables and no drink was $16.

The man who works doesn't EVER get your order correct!!! I have ordered from him on numberous occassions and its never correct!! To add insult to injury--I placed a to go order for Udon, and instead of him explaining at the time of order, "they are out of soup" which comes with it-- he decided to include a salad, without my approval & still charged me the full price for the meal, yet I only received 1/2 the meal!! Then there was a time I ordered "shrimp" eggroll & received "pork" eggroll. well, I don't eat pork!!!... This man has no reguard for the customer, their money, their time, nor their order. He does what he wants. sad!! so again I say---BUYER BEWARE!!!!
