Jake: Wonderful and extremely experienced tradesmen. I don't particularly like cutting down trees, yet in my emergency situation, one was close to falling on my house due to rot. They responded immediately and came out to help. Their price was very fair and they did an outstanding removal. Their techniques were very minimally invasive and other than the stump we asked to leave, there is no evidence they were even here.
AJ Dockery: Today my grandmother called to have a tree removed, or the branches cut off. She's up in age (80s) and she doesn't hear too well. She called American tree and stump and was quoted 450$ to remove the tree, which from what I researched is a good quote. When I asked how much would it be to cut just the branches I was told, it would cost more to cut branches then the actual tree. To my surprise this was a shock to me, and by no means do I know or pretend to know about the landscaping business but I was curious. I asked why would it be so much, and I was told because I don't know anything about the business! After that encounter I will never use this company nor will I refer anyone to you. The complete disrespect and nonchalant attitude of this employee makes me wonder who else has he done this to, or is this how business is conducted daily. If I could take any further action I will. This is how someone represents a business that someone else has built up, , I just hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.

After inspecting the health of tall trees in my yard, Theo found 3 that were unhealthy, and agreed to lighten the load on a large gumball tree seeking light by leaning toward my neighbor's yard. They finished this in about three hours, and cleared out some of the medium-sized tree and shrub growth as well. They even picked up and mulched several larger sized limbs that had fallen from a recent storm. Above & beyond the call of duty! I was delighted. The team was very professional and clearly knowledgeable and experienced. Removing down trees is such dangerous work, I was relieved to be in such good hands. They are truly outstanding! Sanne Hooiveld: Fantastic! This tree service company saved our day! We had a large sycamore come down with huge root ball close to the fence. It was a challenging job but these guys were finished it in 9 hours! I received about five estimates, and while not the least expensive, Bragg Tree Service was not the costliest. I am glad I went with them! They are worth every penny! Other tree service companies said it was at least a 2-day job. Again, it was done nine hours. Quite an impressive job when you consider the quantity of work that tree require.

Dan Davis: After 4 phone calls and 4 times of them telling me they'd be out to give a quote, they finally showed up. Then, when I finally did get a quote, it seemed awfully high. I checked with a few people who all agreed it was high and ended up finding another company who did the job for less than half what I was quoted. I guess when you didn't show up the first two times you said you were coming I should have just moved on then.

Michael Gueits: Was given an good estimate and had a day planned for them to come out. I got a call on the day they were suppose to come out and they told me they had some problems with their truck so they couldnt come out that day. I've called every week for 3 weeks straight and was told the first 2 times that the truck should be out later that day and they will call me back to schedule, the 3rd time it was that the truck is still waiting for 1 part. I understand things happen but don't lie to the customer saying the truck would be out that day and that I would receive a call. If they would've told me that it would take weeks to get the part we could've parted ways sooner, I could've had my tree trimmed by someone else and you would've been spared a negative review for dishonesty. The guy who came out and did the estimate was great and friendly but after that every thing fell apart with who ever answered the phone whenever I would call to find out what the deal was.
thesnekker10: This is probably the fifth time I've hired S&S and I have no complaints. About 10 years ago I bought an old house with several acres of land, and wanted to eliminate the trees that could reach the house if they fell. S&S put the trees on the ground, and I did the clean-up. Later they helped me drop some 80' tall poplars which were leaning in the wrong direction for me to cut - S&S dropped all 5 in a row right next to each other. Recently I called them back when a hurricane uprooted several large trees, and they gave me the same fair price as always.
Sally Hurt: Unprofessional business manners. I have been stood up 4 days in a row. The most recent "appointment" was today. After calling each day to find out what happened I was told it would be the next day. Today when I called, Shawn basically said I should call someone else. Wasted all this time since Hurricane Matthew counting on these folks to show up and/or call when I could've been dealing with any number of reputable arborist in the area. Would not recommend unless this kind of behavior doesn't bother you.
