B & L Driving School-Fayetteville: what do users think?
Emily Elumba: My driving instructor Ms. Hope Brown, is the best so far with teaching not just the critical skills on the road but also life skills. She is very passionate with her craft and explained every details of what needs to be learn in driving. She simplify things for you to understand it clearly and will even demonstrate for you to be able to do the right things for the sake of SAFETY. I do admire and appreciate her, for being so patient and so knowledgeable on what she shares to her students. I wish I could give her more than 5 stars. I will apply all what I learned from you Ms. Hope. Grateful for you Maam. See you around.
Howard: Awesome. Awesome! Mrs. Hope has prepared my entire family to drive over the last 12 years. My child was in her last class I must say with the stories my child told daily of how the kids behave in class its a wonder Mrs. Hope can get the children to do so well. Students constantly talking, passing out answers to eachother during class, mocking and recording the teacher while she reenacts a story he said she told about an encounter with someone who was at a restaurant and overdosed. To hear students were laughing at how the parent cursed the teacher. I was disgusted. But mine have thrived. Grueling job it seems she makes it look easy and this is coming from a former teacher. The fact she talks about Jesus MUST help. Thank you B&l. One more child to go! Mrs. Hope don't worry about disgruntled parents. Put the the students out and move on. You know there is always that one! You try but you can't please them all no matter how you try. Awesome. Awesome. Policy policy enforce it. I'm an entrepreneur and know how it can be! Parents we must do better! If you know your child isn't ready don't even waste her time or your money. Wait until they are mature enough.
Jerry Parker: Had 2 kids go through here. Unprofessional at best. Told my daughter even before she started the coarse that it was just a check the block thing and that we, her parents, would teach her what she needed to know. It’s a waste of $500, but apparently it’s required now for a Driver’s license and good luck getting into the coarse at school.
Leslie Sterling: Worth it! Got my license today!
Wendy Lewis: Thank you Mrs. Hope. Caring instructor. She was patient, professional, very thorough and unique teaching. I love her references and examples. She was very practical and explained things in an easy to understand way. Mrs. Hope watched me closely while driving picking out all the things I was doing wrong and gently corrected me. I have been to other schools here and in New York and this experience has been the most valuable out of them all to finally get me on my way with confidence. I got my license on the first attempt and my daughter has just completed the teen driver training and also got her permit. My husband drives with her most but even I feel confident to drive with her which is major for me. Thank you B&l driving school. Thank you Mrs. Hope!
Hugh Jass: I enjoyed my class. We took alot of notes and did bookwork and took practice test each day which helped. I love Mrs. Hopes personality and stories she tell to make us students be serious drivers. I finished everything in 6 weeks and am prepared to drive safely. Mrs. Hope says study, study, read, read and I will!
Evan Hansen: Very satisfied. Twins sucessfully finished and drive great! Thank you Mrs. Brown.
joan villavert: Me and my daughter’s experience was great! Mrs. Hope taught the both of us a lot. I first did my classes with her and she taught me a lot. As an adult learner, I was nervous because I have never learned how to drive before but I’m glad that I had Mrs. Hope to teach me. She was very nice and patient with me. She was also very approachable and fun to be with.I only took the driving portion and through this, it helped me build confidence and overcome my fear of driving. She taught me everything starting from the basics and as long as you pay attention, you’ll do well. When I took my drivers test, everything she taught me was on there. I had a good time learning from her.My daughter also took her 30 hours of classroom learning and 6 hours of behind the wheel with her. She told me that her classes were fun and easy to understand. Although the classes were a bit long, they were engaging. When she took her driving portion, she said that she was nervous at first but when Mrs. Hope guided her through it, she started to build confidence. She now has her Level 1 Permit and I now have my Driver’s License.I could not be more pleased with this experience, and I want to thank Mrs. Hope for helping us, guiding us and being patient with us all throughout.
Cynthia Rios: 5 stars is not enough! As an adult learner, I was nervous to get my license, but I knew it was finally time. As the instructor Mrs. Hope Brown says, “it happens when it’s supposed to happen.” There was never any judgment or a feeling of being condescended to. Mrs. Hope was always kind, clear, and warm. She is very approachable and funny, but she takes her job seriously; she will not send someone out as an unsafe driver and she cares deeply about helping her students drive responsibly.I took the class and also completed the driving portion, and I’m so glad I went with B & L. The instructor is extremely engaging, thoughtful in her instruction, and she is on top of everything you need in order to feel safe and comfortable. She taught all the information needed to pass the written test; you have to do your part by paying close attention, reading, and taking good notes. The driving practice was scaffolded so that you watch her first with full explanations, then you practice in baby steps until you have set up a strong foundation to tackle trickier maneuvers. You even practice in the DMV lot so that you are fully ready for what the actual test requires.By keeping a serious attitude towards the class and on-the-road lessons, listening carefully, studying, asking questions, and faithfully practicing, I was able to take the class, get my learner’s permit, and get my driver’s license within about 3.5 weeks. I was also very fortunate that, after checking the DMV site almost every day, I could find earlier appointments so I wouldn’t have to wait too long. Timing also worked out in my favor with Mrs. Hope’s schedule; she is a very in-demand teacher who will fill up her days in order to schedule as many people as possible. She works with students of all types of abilities and conducts extra driving sessions until the student is fully ready. I always got prompt responses via text, which is the most reliable and efficient way to communicate these days, and I was accommodated when I was reluctant to start practice on a very rainy day. I am so grateful to Mrs. Hope for going above and beyond for me. She even gave up a couple of hours on the 4th of July so that my practice time wouldn’t be too spread out!If you are ready to get your license and you know you need more than simply reading the handbook on your own, definitely attend the in-class portion. If you are anxious about practicing on the road, book the driving part with B & L. If you don’t know where to start, do both! It is a wise investment in yourself and you won’t regret it. Mrs. Hope watches your every move and patiently teaches you how to do better. I was comforted by the fact that she has the ability to push down a brake on her side if it is needed, and she shares many examples and experiences that help you remember the skills you learn.I could not be more pleased with this experience, and I hope this information helps people who feel like it’s finally “their time” to drive. If you are willing to faithfully put in the necessary work, Mrs. Hope will transform you into a confident, secure driver!
Rash Yapper: Place is honesty terrible and more then unprofessional, you really aren't gonna learn much here. Id recommend going to your in school drivers ed or anywhere else in Fayetteville, maybe even go to somewhere out of town. Anything is better than here really and you'll probably be playing less somewhere else also.
Leslie Garcia: Completely awful! Do NOT send your kids here. Pulled mine out. Also BEWARE OF HER PRICING!!!! SHE CHARGES MORE FOR CLASSROOM PORTION THAN DRIVING!!! She does this because she is notorious for refusing to do drive hours with teens, so having paid higher price for classroom portion she still gets paid!! She takes her children to class with her, drives with a shower curtain between student and herself... the list goes on and on. DO NOT CHOSE BL
Kirvan Cole: Ms hope is awesome person with a great personality this is a great driving school and you can learn almost everything you need in only just a FEW lessons ! It’s that good! 10/10 recommend
Stacey Brown: After 3 days into classes we couldn't be more pleased with the instruction given to our future driver. Our child has come home each day after class understanding that1) driving is serious and a privilege2) discussing all the information she's learned in class and even shared refresher information with us.3) has become more alert even as a passenger noting what different signs indicate etc.As a parent with a new driver after my child completes this class and the driving portion I know I will be a little more at ease because our young driver will be armed with the knowledge and confidence needed for driving in our world today.
Anissa Michaud: I would not give this particular school in Fayetteville, NC a rating. That would be too deserving. She could not waste her time to make a phone call to discuss the matter and would not allow me information to speak to the owner. The instructor, Hope Brown, treats it like the children are in a detention center because a child was doodling. Driving is stressful for teens as it is and that environment is toxic. The instructor will kick students out by her choosing and did not give an opportunity to discuss. When you make a student afraid, that is when accidents occur. Do not have your teens go to this school. I recommend the American Driving school on Hay St. they are professional and know how to communicate with teens. As i was leaving the school, a couple of students came to me and stated they felt my child was being targeted during class. That gave me major concern. My child was willing to apologize to the instructor if she felt disrespected. That takes a lot of maturity coming from any person to act as the bigger person. The instructor was not willing to accept that. The instructor will manipulate a review with dishonesty. Saying things that did not occur. Even her own words were that her 11 year old has a bad attitude. My child never said don't treat me like a dog. I posted the text conversation and she deleted them saying I made threats about a review. I stated I gave her school a chance with the poor ratings. she is consistently argumentative and needs to have the last word. She stated I contacted her,, but actually she contacted me first after hours and continued the conversation until late in the evening. my child is constantly praised by coaches and teachers what an amazingly person my child is. she makes straight A in school and attends early college. she would not know that. Alot of maturity goes into that. The instructor will never own up to her faults and take responsibility for her own behaviors toward others.
Jessie Hartley: DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE!! It is so unprofessional . The lady who took my son out for his 6 hours of driving time. The first time for 3 hours and and another day the next 3 hours ..She went to dinner while she was supposed to be doing driver's ed and had my son set at the subway till she was done. ( we were paying for Driver's Ed not her Dinner time)When my son was driving whith her she would point in one direction and telling my son to go in a different direction. Myself and my husband have been working with our 16 year old son for over a year getting him comfortable with driving . At the end of the lesson I received a text from her (the only way we are able to communicate with her) tell me how awful of a driver my son was and that if he didn't address his problems by the next time she drove with him, that we would have to pay an additional $120 for 2 more hours of drivetime after we had already paid $300 for the 6 hours of drive time .Then she told me that it is not a automatic pass just because you took driver's education. But driver's education is just that "Education" you're learning how to drive, it's not a passer fail. We never was given a contract to sign . We was not given the rules or what we should expect in the driving time. After I received the text , we decided not to send my son back for the next 3 hours that he would need. I texted her and ask for a phone call finally . I received a phone call from her and we told her over the phone that we would not be coming back and ask for a refund because of the unprofessionalism that my son experienced. She ended up only giving us a $125 of our money back.I have sense contacted the North Carolina DMV. To let them know how unprofessional this business is . We also have Went to the Better Business Bureau.
Vasudevvan Udayar: Pls don't take any driving class from her, she won't respond to u, she is not organized...She will leave u in middle of class not responding you, I took class continuously from her, and she stopped responding me, she is not a good teacher at all ..don't trust herAt least try to be honest with ur review mam, police will come and enquiry, u said u sent me messages I have not received, let police decide and take future decisions...Case is not yet closed ..Let police review the case...
Lucille Savournin: I can only talk about the behind the wheel lessons cause that's all I did. Miss Hope is a great teacher. I was very nervous when I started learning, I had had bad experiences with other schools before, but she made me feel safe all the way. She would point out everything I needed to be careful about as we were driving, which made me feel more confident and less afraid. We started slow in quiet neighborhoods before we moved to traffic, and practiced the mandatory exercises (three point turns, backing, etc) a lot to the point that I did it perfectly on my road test! One thing to understand is that Miss Hope is doing everything alone on top of raising two kids and she is a busy woman, giving classes every day of the week. It's better to text her and to plan lessons ahead, and with a bit of organization there will be no problem. It's definitely worth it!
Kendon Emig: Attended B&L for the driving portion of Drivers Education; since CCS was running so far behind. I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Ms. Hope was an amazing instructor. I honestly learned more about driving during those 2 days than I ever thought possible. If I could give 10 stars I would. Ms. Hope definitely made me a better driver and prepared me thoroughly.
Kayla B.: I absolutely loved this driving school. I was anxious about driving and she made me feel completely comfortable and explained everything perfectly. I took her class years ago and still remember all her driving tips and pass them along to others. Thanks so much!
Tara Cross: Critical:Communication,QualityTerrible communication and their only solution is to not deal with you and refund you. Very unsatisfactory service. Would never recommend to anyone!
Laquetta sulton: Critical:Communication,ProfessionalismI have called left messages and went by the company and have yet too get a call back are a answer.

Roadmaster Drivers School of North Carolina, Inc.: what do users think?
Nyasha Kishchele: I LOVED every one of my trainers, especially Dan who told me I couldn't quit until I finished,! He spent A LOT of time with me. Also Fred, Eva , Donald, Joe, Cylais, Greene & Steele. Mrs. Patty and her crew are awesome! Together their training styles ensure student success. I highly recommend Roadmaster Dunn, NC
Odie Miller: Had a great experience, the instructors were very knowledgeable. I had a great time and the instructors made it fun as well. I just graduated today and I couldn’t be more happier. They are also licensed to test you at their facility unlike other cdl training schools.
Toney McLaughlin: The instructors took their time with me so that I could fully understand what I was doin to correct my mistakes whenever I was doing my backing skills which meant the world to me….Thank you all!
Brandon Cristina Autry: The instructors at Road Master Drivers School were very patient and understanding. I especially want to thank instructors, Fred, Dan, Rob Green , Terry and Joe for all your expert training and encouragement. You all are what makes Road Master a successful school.
Jose Martinez: Road master drivers school in Dunn Nc is a great school I highly recommend it for anybody that wants to get there CDL and wants to start driving
chandra mcneil: The training was great. The instructors, managers, personal were very knowledgeable, patient, & kind. They encouraged students to never give up ,they took stress out of challenging situations and never once did i hear or receive negatively feed back when i had challenges. The school was very structured, I would recommend anyone from any state ,considering becoming a professional driver to try Roadmaster in Dunn,NC.
Matt2Night: If you’re just wanting to spend a bunch of money to have a miserable month, it’s for you.BYW, you won’t get any jobs that don’t require you to live in a truck for six weeks at a time.
LEWIE GRAHAM: I'm so grateful that the instructors took the extra time to help me with the skills that I was struggling with.
T Wil: Great school and Great instructors the perfect place to learn the steps you need for your trucking journey.
Guy Speer: Very good experience. Instructors and staff are very helpful and sincerely make every effort to help you succeed.
Keenan Ashworth: If you’re looking to get started in a new and exciting career field on the road, definitely check out RoadMaster Truck Driving School in Dunn, NC. Definitely worth every bit of the training.
Sarah Wildhagen: Absolutely do not go here. Literally find any other driving school you can. Save yourself from the worst experience possible. Thank me later.
Veronica Monroe: My experience was great at Roadmaster because they have instructors who really do care about you succeeding. I will miss Cj, Joe, Fred, Dan, and Chuck, and Steele. They all have their own learning style, you might come as having no clue how to drive a semi trailer, but you will leave with the experience you will probably keep for a lifetime.
Diego Serrano: Roadmaster has been the best team to learn from. I’m grateful for the opportunity!!!
Katrina Monique Barnes: This was my fourth week and I got kicked out because shady Patty wanted to come up with a rule of no cell phones and my son is in bootcamp and I refuse to miss his phone call. Silas the so called supervisor think it is okay to yell at students. He came out his mouth and said we are babies of Truck Driving. Amelio is a terrible instructor. He wants things done his way and if it doesn't go his way he try and make you feel stupid. The only good thing about the school is some of the instructors who do care which are Ms Eva, Mr Joe, Mr Chuck, Fred, & Mr Rob Greene. You are paying all this money and you do not get lunch and dinner. They do provide breakfast at hotel which is okay if you eat pork. I'm nice and genuine and they took away my nicest. I would suggest go to another truck driving school.
Claire Hankins: Absolutely awesome experience I'm going to miss everyone here. The instructors are basically like family and they truly care about you succeeding. I knew nothing about tractor trailers prior to going there, and I graduated. For me it took a great deal of sacrifice and hard work to learn a lot of information in a short period of time. But my persistence paid off and I felt very much supported by the school. It was all worth it in the end. They also do job/company placement!
Aaron Jackson: AMAZING!! Staff is very attentive, caring, and makes sure you understand everything you’re working on! Class & group sizes allow for individualized attention from the instructors. The school is very organized & clean! Overall an amazing program and I highly suggest it to anyone looking to get their CDLs!
Kishia Smith: Everyone here from the recruiters, front office to the examiners were excellent. I learned alot from everyone that was involved in my journey. Everyone showed me how much they cared about me being successful. I am so grateful of this experience with This Staff in Dunn, NC. I cannot thank them enough.
tom keo: I loved it!!!! Thank you for everything
Pareece ParLay: Enjoyed every moment of my experience
James Callahan: I had a wonderful experience. Thank you to every single member. I can't say who was the best because they all are. I would recommend roadmasters to others.
