Mrs. Fifield endorses and encourages students to participate in the Royal Conservatory Music Development Program. She is a teacher member and has been using this program in her studio since 2008.

Mrs. Fifield is a member of MTNA, NCMTA and GMTA. She has been a member of MTNA and NCMTA since 1990. MTNA Student Competitions, NCMTA District and State Piano Contest-Festivals and the GMTA Solo and Ensemble Festival are just some of the opportunities for evaluation which are offered through these organizations. Mrs. Fifield’s students have received highest ratings at all levels of these contests: Junior A, Junior B, Senior A, Senior B and have placed in the MTNA Senior Performance Piano Competitions.
