Omen Equity: Once again, I’m leaving a bad review at a strip club. This industry has really gone downhill. As someone who owns a night club, I would much rather be writing a good review. The reason for my bad review, is none other than the manager. He’s bald an looks tweaked out. He’s not running the establishment properly. Their are hardly any entertainers there, especially on a Sunday, Monday, Tuesday. I won’t go into full detail here, but the guy is running the place straight into the ground. Doing a lot of shady stuff.

Robert Lindahl: Capital made a bad night that started at Rick's much better. The leather was peeling from the couch I sat on, but you overlook things like that when they have and excellent staff. Jolene was awesome. IDK if I'll ever be back to Raleigh but if I am, I will be there.

Willie Chambers: I stopped in on a Thursday on my way through NC. I had a long day on the road and Capital Cabaret seemed like a good place to unwind before stopping for the night.The building was kept up well and everything inside and out was clean and well cared for. I wasn't there to look at the building anyway, but may have been less interested in going on in had it been dirty and run down.After getting a beer and sitting down for a while, it appeared that there were some regular patrons there that had the majority of the girls attention. I figured that was completely understandable. Assuming the girls know where the money is and need to go after the sure thing rather than some potential random dude passing through. That could very well be a mis-read on my part as well. So for a bit I did feel a little bit ignored but was not overly bothered by it as I was enjoying a few beers and the ongoing stage show. A few trips to the stage to tip the girls was all it took to be more than just a spectator.The girls were all hot (especially Crystal) across the board with a great range of body types and styles. One girl in particular, Shanna, was very capable on the pole and clearly put in the time and effort it takes to be able to pull off some strength moves as well as elegant pole moves. Some were obviously much more skilled and better than others but none of them were even close to what I would consider bad. That made the three song stage sets all very entertaining.The first girl I encountered was Wednesday (I think). She hopped in the seat next to me and gave me the run down on lap dances for $30, and back room private dances for $300 for a half hr. Then Molly came to my table and hung out chatting for a bit. She was super nice and hot as hell. Next up was Shanna. She was straight fire on and off stage. After her set, we talked for a bit and then went to a 1/2 hr. private dance upstairs. I've been to quite a few SC's across the country and that was one of the top private sessions ever. My only regret was not staying there for another 1/2 hr. Wednesday made the price of admission more than worth it. Two memorable dancers were definitely Crystal and a tall Native Am. dancer that I cannot recall her name. Both of them killed it on the stage like true badass bosses. Would have liked to spent time with them in a room as well but time and money didn't align for that on that particular night.

Pat Houston: This was my first time back to Capital in awhile. They changed some things up, but much remains the same.$10 to get in. I arrived around 9-10pm on a weekend night, so it was busy (20 dancers and probably the same number of customers) but not packed. Easy to find a seat wherever you wanted to be. I tend to hang out by the bar, and move closer to the stage when there's an interesting dancer workingIt always seems like there are 4-5 dancers by the bar, a few working the crowd. Apart from that, most dancers seem to hang out in the back, which is frustrating.This night, there were a lot of 7-8s working. I got dances from 4-5 of them, all pretty similar. My favorite of the night was Shauna. I would start with one dance, and if it was good, I would go more. Tops came off from all of the dancers (usually on the second song).VIP rooms seemed pretty standard $150 for 15 minutes. I did not partake.Overall, a good visit. Capital Cabaret tends to be my go-to choice due to the consistency of the dancers.

They put on amazing and affordable weekly shows (both earlier family-friendly shows, and late shows for more mature audiences) and the classes they offer are incredibly fun and an overall great experience. They have great snack and beverage selections, and more importantly the staff, performers, volunteers, and regulars are the nicest people you’ll meet!

Phillip Solano: A unique and hilarious experience. Haven't been since college, but they still got it. Every member is absolutely hilarious and they always put on an amazing show. They have snacks, including popcorn and movie candy, canned/bottled beer, and sodas in case you need a treat. And affordable too. Highly recommend this improv show.

Jennifer Pickett: We had a great time at the show. We laughed and enjoyed the clues and mystery. The actors were fun to interact with. The food is about what you would expect from an Embassy Suites, some items were better than others. We got a drink at the cash bar. Salad, meat and cheese tray, bread, entree, and dessert were included. Sweet tea and water were also on the table. I would recommend it for a fun outing. They did ask for reviews to get a shot glass but made it clear they did not have to be positive. I did not want a shot glass but wanted to support this fun theater/improv event!

Gary Crispens: I have enjoyed several plays here where family members were in them. There is plenty of free onsite parking, very clean restrooms and comfortable sofas and stuffed chairs in the lobby. The lighting and acoustics were very good and the stage is large enough for big dance scenes. The seating is close to the stage for easy viewing.

Crystal Hobbs: We saw the Jersey Boys production and the entire experience was excellent! This was our first time coming to the theatre, and it was easy to get to, plenty of free parking, the concession stand/lobby/rest rooms were clean and pleasantly decorated. The greeters/staff were kind and welcoming guiding us and providing directions when needed. The stage and seating area was spacious yet intimate (I don’t think there was a bad seat at all) with comfortable seats and appropriate leg room. The actors, musicians and the behind the scenes staff were phenomenal; the audiovisual elements were outstanding with just enough staging to allow our imagination to take care of the rest. We thoroughly enjoyed the show and we plan to see another show at this theatre in the future, as well as recommend the theatre to family and friends. Thank you.
