The Arepa Bar: what do users think?
Kevin Rincon: 10/10 excelente servicio y comida espléndida, sabor colombiano 100% ¡los recomiendo!
Joseph Mcmanus: Great food.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Empanadas, Bandeja Paisa Platter with 1 Meat …More
Nottasteful. Overpriced.
Lexi Veon: The arepas and french fries were very good! The service was fast and friendly.Kid-friendliness: I got chicken nuggets and french fries for my kid.Parking: On a Sunday afternoon the parking lot was quite full.
Yojana Romero: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Om Villa: People are incredibly attentive, food is great, menu options are awesome!!😎👍Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Rachael Ritter: Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes EmpanadasMore
laura kensil: Soooooooo deliciousRecommended dishes Arepa Sampler, Bandeja Bowl …More
Steve Laster: Very slow and while arepas were good the appetizer and dessert were lacking. Definitely get better service if they know you.Food: 3/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Luis E. Zouain: Really good food, amazing people, needs more love in the cleaning and tables.
Carlos G: Service is slow. They have a good brazo de Reina .
Juan Santiago: I looked them up online and after browsing decided to try a bowl. It said 8.99 create your own so I was eager to try the ceviche. Upon arrival they tell me there is no ceviche which was not a problem. I proceed to order and ask what they do have. Lady very unhappily said the same as the arepas like I've been here before. I'm like ok..guess we'll go with chicken who doesn't have chicken right. Then I wanted to try the spicy avocado sauce which she says they are out of. I ask for another which they are out of. Then one more different sauce which they don't have either. I ask myself then what are you selling here?? She then charges me 17 dollars which is where I drew the line. I came to try this place because of something you have online and you have not updated your website and on top of that don't even have any variety of products you are advertising?? I paid and ate and won't be coming back and don't recommend this place. I think I would have gotten more full of an arepa then the small kids bowl of food they gave me and charges me 15$ because she dropped the price after I complained. Go at your own risk

BD: When visiting this establishment, I recommend carefully reviewing your bill each time. Unfortunately, I had an experience where I was overcharged for an item I did not order. It was also disappointing that they didn't clarify the additional cost for guacamole, especially considering the restaurant's name is Guasaca. Consider holding your tip until you have received your service.
G V Debnam: My friend introduced me to Guasaca and this was our 2nd visit together. I enjoyed the chicken arepas! He always insists on fettung a side of Guasaca. I'll be back and may bring my nephew.Parking: Going at the peak of lunch time typically means some extra time to find a parking spot but that's because there are some many restaurants and businesses right there together.

Scott Hutcheson: Wife and I visited for the first time in a few years. It used to be delicious, but this time it was very different. We went in around 5:30pm on a Tuesday and the food all tasted old. My wife and I ordered the fried chicken arepas and the "fried chicken" was just breading, there was literally no chicken in the breading. The arepas did not taste fresh. They did make my wife a new fried chicken arepa, but I had already eaten mine before I discovered what I was eating. I also had the grilled chicken, but it tasted like it had been sitting around for awhile. It was extremely disappointing.
Kent Wetherhold: My wife and I were looking for a simple, quick lunch. We love Mexican and they were on our way. Plenty of parking with easy access. Service was quick and the Arepas were excellent. Been there twice and we'll be going again soon. Highly recommend.
Poeta Oscuro: White lady was racist and pretend she didn’t understand my English. She would also charge more if I ask for just one more green sauce, a problem I didn’t have before with anyone else working there. Great food, bad service.
Heath Buckmaster: One of the best fast food meals in a long time. Strong and bold flavours and fast friendly service. We had the chicken and steak arepas which were fantastic but the highlight is their guacamole. Delicious.Recommended dishes Vegetarian Includes Guasaca, Chicken Arepa …More
Bryan Lambeth: Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Darrius Caldwell (Slizzaru): Great food , great people and and very polite people!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Jordan Cao: Consistently delicious. A good option for lunch during the work day. Food is tasty and ingredients are fresh. I've not had a bad meal here. I have had to wait a couple times for them to cook whatever protein because they ran out on the serving station, but they do tend to be quick enough when they happens. It can get a little noisy if it's really crowded.
Hiedi Wilson: Nice atmosphere and great food.

Heather House: We had tickets to go to the Lego Expo and wanted to have dinner afterward. I did a quick search on Google at close places. As I looked through the pics, I remember seeing the food truck somewhere and remember wanting to try the food. We got there and were ready to order, and the power went out in the whole strip mall. The staff quickly reacted to shift to iPad payment, and there was hot food ready to put together. Luckily, the power came back on in less than 10 mins. We all got something different and tried all of it. We had areas - La Tica, La Peula, and the ham/cheese. They were all delicious! Think our favorite was the beef. Also, we got a Cachapa with beef. I read cornbread, but I wasn't expecting the sweetness. Oh my! The sweet of the cachapa combined with the beef and cheese was a lovely flavor combo. I had some with some without the homemade hot sauce. The hot/sweet combo worked really well, too. They also make a Cilantro sauce and tyoe of Venezuelan sour cream that you must try. The fried plantains were a good dessert! The homemade juices were delicious. When I learned how they are made in house, I felt my hips grow... but I don't care... so good! They staff were amazing! Extremely friendly, answered all the questions and gave us helpful info as we ordered. Great experience!
Sheri Faluta: I had the pleasure of eating from their food truck, at an event I was working. I got the La Tica and La Pelua arepas. They were soooo good! The meat was tender, flavorful and juicy. The arepas were soft and freshly made. I wish I lived closer; I'd be here at least 3-4 days a week. The employees were gracious and humble. If you haven't tried this place, it's a MUST!!! I only have a pic of the La Tica because I inhaled the La Pelua before I realized a pic would be helpful to some. UPDATE: I was fortunate to have another event in Raleigh on Thursday, 6/15/23. I made it a point to visit the brick and mortar location (30 mins in the opposite direction of home) and was not disappointed!! I was surprised to find that not many people were there, at 6 PM. Folks in the area are missing out! I did get pics of the La Pelua this time. I've shared it for your viewing enjoyment.😉😋Dietary restrictions: Gluten free

Eric Morrow: Maybe we got this on a bad day. Everything looked good on the menu and the reviews were good. The food we got was not. Tried 3 different arepas and the capcha and plantains and threw it all away. Flavorless and inedible. It was Memorial Day so perhaps it was an inexperienced crew? For $40 for lunch I expected much more.
Neha Patel: Great place for lunch, two of us shared 3 arepas and they were super good with the cilantro salsa. Every bite was flavorful, not spicy for those who don't need that. They have hot arepas and cold stuffing ones. Prices are excellent. Unfortunately, we ate so fast we forgot to take pictures, except the no wait line on a Monday (Memorial Day) at lunch. Plenty of Venezuelans were inside eating too.
Jessica Strait: Awesome value for money, and we enjoyed the cozy spot! Good food, especially the cilantro sauce, great vibes.
Melissa Elliott: The arepas were delicious! Oh my goodness! They were stuffed full of meat, so much I could only eat one ! Yum-O! Very flavorful and fresh! The staff was friendly.
Daph Knee: Arepas were good, I got the pork arepa and smoked salmom rice bowl. Will definitely be back!Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Pulled Pork, Sweet Plantains …More

Highly recommend the avocado chicken, crispy chicken, and steak arepas. If arepa’s don’t sound like your thing, the bowls are also delicious and far superior to something you might get at Chipotle.

Wild Alaska Ken: Arepas! Best I have had since a trip to Venezuela 40 years ago. Located right across from NC State, the eye candy makes the bland cafeteria style furnishings excellent, and the food is beyond belief. And, for the USA, it's inexpensive to boot. Unam: Me and my friends visited, we took crispy chicken arepa and avocado chicken. Taste wise crispy chicken arepa is very very nice while avocado chicken is kinda healthy also it’s a bit costly than the other one. My friend who is very good at cooking tells that the avocado chicken is very juicy, like marinated chicken. I recommend it. From my perspective I feel these a bit costly than I expected to be.
Jacob Winters: Barw bones style. Good food
Cody Taylor: The food is actually delicious, but they are not kind to the homeless people nearby. One guy was just sitting quietly at their outdoor seating using the shade and a seat, and they made him leave. I don’t think I can support a business that lacks compassion for the less fortunate. The business wasn’t even busy.

Guasaca: what do users think?
Alexander: Wonderful quick serve Cuban place. The arepas were amazing and they had nice sides of sweet plantains and black eye peas. Steve Meisel: Great place for a weekday lunch. Food is very good.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Chips, Salsa Parking space Somewhat difficult to find parking …More
Augster O: This place is really cool. It’s the same as “other” places, but not burritos. Arepas. Arepas are smaller and made of, like, cornbread. We tried nearly every arepas in our group. Everything was great. The chips are good also. The salsa they give you with the chips is sweet, instead of spicy. That was odd. I liked it, but it’ll take some getting used to.I really loved the arepas I had and would gladly go back.Plenty of indoor seating. They also have outdoor seating.
Bruce Gibson: Do not plan on ordering and eating food in the restaurant. The counter service is horrible! You have to stand in line (even if you are the only customer there) while they prepare all the to-go orders. This evening I was the only customer in the whole restaurant and waited 10 minutes. That is not acceptable. I live next door but will not be back.
Linda Endow Hall: We decided on a night out to eat dinner, and my son and daughter-in-law chose Guasaca because I LOVE ethnic food. The choices of arepas could meet ANY dieters' needs. The service was fast, and the food was reasonably priced and delicious! Gracias, Guasaca!Vegetarian options: The menu includes vegan and vegetarian options.
Myles Ballestracci: Best bowl in town! Ingredients taste fresher than Chipotle. The 4 star for atmosphere is due to chairs not having pads on the bottom. Every time a chair is moved it makes a really grating noise.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Shredded Chicken …More
Swick Jeff: it's pre-cooked and assembly line so you get what protein and toppings you want. reasonably priced...Vegetarian options: veggie arepa... salads
Alex Jackson: Decor reminds me of tin drum if you know that chain. Would was respectfully decent only got a lower rating because it decreased in quality from before the pandemic. Guac wasn't as fresh. But the staff was amazing.Kid-friendliness: I have 2 under 4. they needed seating ( high chairs) and Guasaca provided

Shriya Amit: Ordered a shredded chicken bowl and their signature avocado arepa - both were totally bland and didn’t satisfy my taste buds even after adding some hot sauce. The corn bread pockets were warm but were a little undercooked. Shredded chicken also didn’t meet the expectations. Im not sure if I’d come back to try other items anytime soon.
Abby Farnsworth: I LOVE this place! I drive so far out of my way just to get the arepas and salsa. I wish there were more locations!Kid-friendliness: This is my son's favorite restaurant!
Stephane Henrion: Great food at a great price. I highly recommend the plantains!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Grilled Chicken Bowl, Cilantro Sauce …More
Tiger Hebert: The arepas are so good!
James Fouts: Great find. Hadn’t tried arepas before. Stopped in here due to the reviews and it did not disappoint. It was a Saturday afternoon and you could tell they stay pretty steady, even with the location not being in a busy shopping area like Park West. The restaurant was clean and we were greeted by the friendly employee at the counter. He let us know their tops sellers and made some recommendations. I went with the grilled chicken arepa and my wife had the steak bowl. They were both fantastic and well worth the price. This will now be in our usual rotation for lunch and dinner.

The Corner Venezuelan Food: what do users think?
Jessica Suarez: Best Authentic Venezuelan food around! Great customer service! Went above and beyond for me!
Nolan Cain: Literally liars. Ordered steak and they ran out and tried to give us chicken sneakily. Woman was incredibly rude, charged us more than the menu price and took over 45 minutes to get our food (zero warning it would take that long) and then tried to give us something else. We had to ask to get reimbursed and thus ate nothing after all that. Avoid.
Javier León: Lo maximo
Steven Radford: 26 dollars for an arepa and a sandwich and it takes over an hour to make the food. Total rip off and I ended up just getting a refund. Dont waste your time
Nancy Silva: Not a big deal, is a waste of time and money too expensive for simple food
Mary Kathryn Oyaga: Authentic, fresh, absolutely delicious Venezuelan food. The best we have found in the Triangle. My husband is from Caracas and this truck is the only Venezuelan he will eat in the area. Thank you all for providing a taste of home!
Alex Curry: The Worse. Waited over an hour and still no food.
Sarah Michael Wilcox: Don’t trust their pager system. We waited 30 mins but it never buzzed. We eventually went to see what was happening, our food had obviously been ready for quite a while as it was stone cold.
Jess H: This food truck was outside my job today and it was DELICIOUS!! I’ll definitely be stalking this truck over the weekend and telling everyone I know to give it a try!! From a Nicaraguan from Miami this food was heaven to me!!
M EH: Just OK, I personally will not try them again. Pork Patacon was swimming in mayonaise and wilted lettuce. Not appetizing at all. My son's loaded fries were delicious though.
David Reitmeyer: Might be good, but they were NOT there at posted hours when we made a special trip to eat there. 😞
Aimee Aimee: always my life saver when I am craving for Arepas...I have tried almost everyone elses Arepas, this food truck has the perfect taste, perfect texture and the amount of meat and cheese they stuff it with...you got to get one to see what I mean and I know you will say yum, yum, yum!! I follow them everywhere.
Andreina Jergovic: Such amazing and tasty food!!! You have got to try the tequeños (cheese filled dough sticks) THE BEST we've had!! Definitely going back! 10 points!
AGP Bock: The were in Asheville recently during a trio of festivals. Often with the lunch rush, food trucks speed up to try and keep pace often messing up the food in the process. That was not the case here. This food came out tasting perfect and exactly how we ordered it. The rep at the window was both knowledgeable and courteous. The portions were generous and the price was right on target. Living in an area where most of the Latin food representation is Mexican, this food truck brought a diversity that was severely needed. As a Puerto Rican and a NY native this truck was the closest thing to home I had eaten in a very long time. Best part, the food digested well too. It was filling without being heavy making it the perfect festival food!
Steven Cimpi: For a food truck, I should never experience a 30 minute wait for food. A food truck’s entire schtick should be fast, mobile food. This food truck falls short.
Karen Aguilar: The yummiest and most beautifuly crafted "Pan de Jamon" I've ever had! Oh, and the Hallacas were exceptionally delicious!
Jace Matthews: Dont worry you'll be happy with this choice i mean from the moment it goes into your mouth you feel like heaven is real. I mean I personally never want to go to Venezuela but this food omg i am in love.
Rose Colangelo: Got the carne mechada patacon and an arepa. Both were fantastic and service was fast and great.

Pana's Flavor: what do users think?
Melonie Allen: Vegan empanada, 3 ingredients, 1 missing?Food: 1/5 …More
Travis Williamson: Hit these guys up right before closing when it was poring down raining. They were nice enough to open back up the kitchen. This is the spot you go to for authentic Venezuelan food. One of the only spots I’ll go to outside of Florida and New YorkFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Plantain Sandwich, Sweet Plantains …More
Valentina Teran: Yummy food
María Corina Roldán Robles: There's not an easy way to say this, but I've found the best place to eat Venezuelan food. The "not an easy" part is that there's not Pana's Flavor in Miami.I was in Raleigh craving empanadas, and Goood: I almost ate the whole foodtruck. The service is also extremely good.
Virginia Juncos: Excellent quality food and service. Pretty fast and also efficient. Great Venezuelan food. Y’all also gotta try the Argentinian chorizo they have. Highly recommended!
Joseph Peoples: Everyone in the triangle needs to experience Venezuelan food THIS WAY!!! Carlos brought his love for Venezuelan culture and cooking to Raleigh for YOU to experience, and it tastes incredible!! Order literally anything off of his menu and I challenge you to find a better meal in Raleigh.Recommended dishes Sweet Plantains, Tequenos, Grilled Steak Sandwich, Queso Cheese, Panas Sub, Melted Cheese, Grilled Chicken …More
Andrew Bolander: Their vegan empanada is soooo good. Highly recommend.Vegetarian options: Empanada vegan
Julieth Celis: Recommended dishes Mixed Grill, Panas SubMore
Joselin Garcia: Que rico!!!! 🤤🤤🤤
J Smith: Food is So delicious & very friendly customer service!
Milena Tallarico: Deliciosas las empanadas!! Los tequeños uffff. Hoy fui por primera vez y me enamoré! Cada mordisco era tocar la gloria :)
Angela McLinton: Everything is delicious and reasonably priced. Will absolutely try again.
Fernando Laya Mendoza: It’s definitely a good place to eat, it’s good Venezuelan food, the cheese is authentically Venezuelan Cheese , the price is a bit high for the size of the portion and I would like the cachapa to be a little more natural, made entirely of corn!
Joan Manuel Becerra Ordoñez: I'm not going to lie. The food was very good. And the presentation was all right even though they serve it on a food truck next to a dumpster. However, their prices are so very high. It seems to be a common trend on Venezuelan food places for some reason. 14$ for a cachapa, and 8$ for each empanada is very excessive specially with their limited choices. But again, good food and decent presentation.

Tropical Picken Chicken: what do users think?
Jairo Orellana: Drove in the rain only to see it's closed. Smh.
Melissa Cowan-Street: Y'all need to update your website and indicate that you are closed down!!
Roderick Roper: Food: 4/5More
Jessica Titus: Really disappointed because this place had great food. Ordered through Eatstreet, show up, and no one is there. The sign on the door says they're only open Thursday and Friday (it's Thursday) but the lights were off and no one inside and Google hasn't been updated. Luckily got my money back through Eatstreet customer service. No website up anymore and phone number is no longer in service. If you're not open anymore, please share it with the rest of us.
Carla Reibold: Drove an hour to have sign on door stating only open Thur and Fri... update the website.!!
