Che Empanadas: what do users think?
Scott Blount: Excellent Empandas!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Noelia Bautista: I liked the service is very fast. I ordered ham and cheese, caprese, al limón and beef also chimichurri and that is the only thing I did not like in my opinion, the chimichurri should be an accompaniment to the empanada not an extra. The empanadas should be of the original way of empanadas, I felt the empanadas that they don’t have the original way are smaller but the flavor is really good
Christina Solano: Delicious and authentic empanadas! This restaurant is located in the food hall. It is peaceful and please inside with lots of plants.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Tim Kelley: So good! After spending time in South America last year, my bar for empanadas has been raised. Che Empanadas hits the spot with traditional and new fusion style empanadas. Bonus points for the yerba mate!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Me And: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
AdventureAttorney: I ordered one chicken and one beef empanada. As much as I liked the chicken empanada, I didn’t prefer the beef empanada. But still a good experience and fun to chill at the good hall.
Yesica Franco: Excelentes empanadas! Y la atención es divina! Gracias por ser tan geniales y atentos! Grandes Abrazos. Recomiendo 100% Argentinas!
Maddie May: Food: 3/5|Service: 5/5More
Jacob Santona: It's so freshly baked with amazing filling inside. The owner was so friendly. Will be definitely coming back.
Luis MacKinney: Delicioso. Ojalá las empanas no fueran tan pequeñas. Ojalá nunca se acaban. Siempre buena atención y servicio.
Martha Summerlin: 100% recomendado. Las empanadas son pura magia. ‘Nuf said.
jesse proctor: Well done authentic Argentinian empanada (You would have to visit quite a few shops in Argentina to find a empanada this tasty). Crust is light and flaky. Fillings are moist and delicious. Having taken a bite of over half of the savory menu items I didn’t find an empanada that I didn’t like. But the Al pastor, the pork, the potato knish and the spinach were my favorite. Enjoy.
Polly: Stop leaving your trailer on residential streets for extended periods of time.
Daniela Romina Font: Excelente atención. Tienen yerba la Merced. Muy buena experiencia. Los alfajorcitos de maicena riquísimos.
Joshua Rogers: I got four different kinds of empanadas, and all of them were amazing. This place is definitely worth multiple visits. I'll be back!
Gabriel de Miguel: Empanadas Argentinas are the best empanadas. The guy working tonight solidified the 5 star rating. Super cool guy
Annu Manuel: Loved the empanadas! the staff is sooo sweet !
Augusto Zambrano: Exelentes empanadas Argentinas!!👍
Julius Caesar: Hands down best empanadas in Raleigh!!!Must try: Sweet Beef, Chicken, Ham & Cheese, and Guava & Cheese 😋Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

Brasa Steakhouse: what do users think?
Bill Eubanks: Good atmosphere, great food, great service. Only downside was they had live entertainment playing when we got there and it was WAY too loud.
Leanne Drivas: So good! This is one place that truly is worth the money for all these extra little things. They remember how and what you like and make sure you get PLENTY of it! Highly recommend!
Gail Dandy: I love the steak house their steaks are delicious
Alicia Lamb-Moody: All of the staff I interacted with were very nice, it was the food that left something to be desired. The hot/cold appetizer bar wasn't the best I've seen at a Brazilian steakhouse. Most of the covers on the hot food were actually broken, and some of the dishes had no flavor at all.As for the meats, I was never presented with the lamb which I found unfortunate. The pork tenderloin was overcooked and dry, the curried chicken had zero flavor, and the pork ribs were super tough. The picanha was very tasty, as was the bacon wrapped filet, garlic sirloin, parmesean crusted chicken, short ribs, and the bacon wrapped chicken. The floors were also very dirty. I didn't go to the bathroom, so I can't speak to it's cleanliness.Unfortunately, I'll probably stick with the better known "chain" Brazilian steakhouses as I've had a better all around experience there.
Evangelist Ervin Wilson: Our server Kelly and Joey were professional, polite and attentive!Would love to be served by them again. The food was awesome!
Matthew Wesley: Absolutely incredible. The food was delicious and hot. Atmosphere is perfect for a nice quiet date night. A little pricey, but we'll worth it. Will definitely visit again and I highly recommend it.
Ahmed Megeed: Salad bar is ok they had some decent food but not worth it for the price. They had a large variety of meats and only a couple of them ended up being really good. Most of them were dried out and just tasted ok. Definetly overpriced would be a much better value if you can just chose what you would like to eat.
Angie Walker: We had a wonderful birthday celebration here for my sister-in-law. The staff was attentive and the meats were very good. The buffet also included some delicious items and had a wide variety to choose from. The only downside if there is one, would be the expense. It is quite pricey if you are eating the meat and buffet option.
Levi Hulme: Damn good food
Omid Khodadadi: We left the restaurant, and one of the waiters (man) with black truck, stopped near to our car on red light, after his job, and start to complain about the amount of tip which we gave them! He said that they don’t make enough money at their job, and they need a lot of tips! We spent $300 + tips for 4 adult and 1 kid! Today was my birthday, I was so happy and i chose this restaurant for my birthday with my family and my wife! He made me so upset and sad on my birthday! Just one day in a year! The quality of food was amazing and i’m giving 2 star just for the quality of food and just the lady who took our order. They didn’t come to refill water for us. They didn’t took the dirty utensils from table. My mother went to ask when they close and one of the ladies responded to my mom in very bad way! They’re not allow to stop us outside after they left their job because of tips! This was the first and last time I went to this restaurant! I take this very seriously, because I don't like such people like this ruin people's day! I hope this does not happen to anyone else. I’m working in the same industry and i never ever asked anyone even $1 tip! I never expected tips from anyone! Next year, I will be more careful to choose a place for my birthday!
Theodore Boliek: Awesome experience and the food was cooked perfectly!
Tawanda Atkinson: Would give a 0! Celebrating my mom in law birthday.......Our first time at this steakhouse and will not be back. I am here in the restrtaunt now while writing this review.Horrible service and meat was salty so my my mom and I have chosen to get the pineapple chicken sandwich! The chicken sandwich smelled of chitterlings because it was over cooked with dark grill marks/ burnt marks! I tried to eat it anyway. Best part about todays visit was the fries. They were nice crisp and hot.Thank you for nothing!
Jay Carter: We used to go to Brasa all the time pre-pandemic, at least once a month. We finally decided to go back this past Sunday (6/26/2022) for our son's birthday. While the food and everything seemed more or less on par, the servers we had were terrible. They didn't bring any sides out to the table, I had to ask and then all they brought was mashed potatoes. They continuously bypassed our table with meats and when they did come by and ask if we wanted anything specific, they never brought it back to us. I finally gave up and left hungry because the service was so terrible. Worst experience Ive ever had a Brasa and Im not sure we will ever return. It costs too much to be treated like second class citizens by your wait staff.
McKayla Hairston: Great service! Very large and unique salad bar selection. Good was good.
Matthew Case: To the meat eater: you'll be fine 😄To the salad bar eater: you'll be let down. The sides at many Brazilian steakhouses are a fantastic compliment to the feast of meats, but this place misses the mark hard on the sides.
Shahriar Khan: Decent service but quality and variants of meats/cuts are well behind Fogo.
ketlym braga: It was disappointing! I’ve been to many Brazilian restaurants and as a Brazilian the food wasn’t quit rightIt’s a lot of money for not a lot of options, the buffet was just not good
Angel Soto: Is a cozy place with a good variety at the salad bar, a nice selection of meats and wines. Some meat cuts was over cooked specially the Picahna and others over seasoned. I think they need to pay attention to this matter specially for a place with this price range.Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Richard Rebollar: Atmosphere was nice. Staff was very attentive. I don't think they were too detail oriented when i came to serving the steak at the requested doneness.
Xinia Maria: Love love this restaurant. Always come when visiting NC

Makus Empanadas: what do users think?
Christian Rosenfeld: Great empanadas, specially like the beef and pork ones. Paired well with rice and beans and chimichurri sauce.Food: 5/5 …More
Terrika Irvin: Service was good, but empanadas not so much. I ordered sweet corn, chicken, and pork chimichurri. No distinctive flavor difference other than clearly you could tell when you were eating the sweet corn empanada. The chicken and pork chimichurri didn’t have much flavor either so nothing to boast about in my opinion and for almost $4/each I expected way better
John Burke: Friendly service and good - but not great - empanadas. Reasonably priced for the area.
jesse proctor: Authentic Argentinian empanada. Unmemorable execution.
Nicky Mirks: Empanadas were excellent. Crispy and tasty. A lot of variety for them and the prices were fairFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Empanadas, Bacon & Cheese …More
Heather (luxamari): Delicious! I look forward to these every time we come to the food hall and I have on occasion ordered them delivered through Postmates. They have great vegetarian options such as the spinach, onion and corn empanadas and their rice and beans. They even have a vegan one! The crunch ratio between the dough and the filling are exactly what I love about empanadas. I usually have about 3 of them when I come as they are on the smaller side.Vegetarian options: They have great vegetarian options such as the spinach, onion and corn empanadas and their rice and beans. They even have a vegan one!
Ala H: Restaurant is good, however the location is horribleRecommended dishes Empanadas …More
Brock Davis: Loved in Argentina for a while and had been missing the empanadas until this place. Definitely hit the spot. Bacon and cheese was my favorite. Chimichurri sauce is very authentic with a nice kick. They were very fast and very kind. Highly recommend!Recommended dishes Empanadas, Sweet Corn Empanada, Bacon & Cheese …More
Rick Hadsall: Not bad! Ordered a beef and a chopped pepperoni empanada. Dipping sauce is great.Recommended dishes Empanadas …More
Arpan Bhattacharya: Tiny flavorless empanadas at a rip off price. Nothing was good about this place. The rice and beans were bland as well. The filling was awful and the pastry was even worse. Never again.I’m not exaggerating but I’ve had better food from Taco Bell at a fraction of the price.
Jim Haynie: Nice oven baked petite empanadas and a small cup of salad with a drink for $14
Dennis Mack: The empanadas tasted very good. The cost per one though is outrageous.Dine in: Yes Outdoor seating: Yes Takeout: Yes Curbside pickup: No …More
Darrik Farmer: I got three different meats and I couldn't tell a difference in flavor between them. Overall they were a big meh. On top of it, they were expensive.
amanda Segura: Super fast service, coleslaw was amazing and crisp. Empanadas were good, crust was delicious. Spinach and corn ones were, the best, beef was ok.
thiara massaccesi: My experience was amazing! The jam and cheese empanada is the best. I like too the meat one. The service was spectacular, and the employers were polite and helpful with us. And something to add is that the place is comfortable and nice. Highly recommended.
Martina Costales: i’ve eaten most of them, they were delicious!
Leticia Suarez Muñoz: Yummy!!!!
William McPherson: Awesome empanadas.
G. Jaramillo: The only Argentinian thing about this place is the chimichurri which is actually good. I've tried Argentinan empanadas in NYC, NJ and in Buenos Aires and these are extremely disappointing. They taste nothing like Argentinian empanadas and they are super small for the $3.15 that each cost. Not worth it, spend your money else where.
Luis Muñoz: Too slow
Rob Morris: Had the empanada and a chipa. The Chipa was a gluten free cheesy ball of heaven. #yumI’ll be back!!

Oakwood Cafe: what do users think?
Louis Guillama: Great spot for any meal. Fantastic Latin food. Picadillo is authentic and Churrasco was excellent. Try it for breakfast and enjoy some Cuban toast. 5/2020 - Very saddened to hear of your closure Mr. Meccia. You ran a fine establishment with great food. I hope you return!
Cathy A. Smith: Great food and outstanding customer service!
Mark Vincent: Great food and service for a reasonable price.
Jeremy Mueller: This small cafe with Argentinian food is a simply fantastic. The whole menu is delightful, but I'd recommend the beef empanadas and plantains! The menu isn't the cheapest, but the food is worth it in my opinion! Check it out.
Claudia Molina Ibañez: Nice little place.. food was very good. Staff was friendly.
Kelly Propst: Oakwood Cafe is one of my all time favorite restaurants in Raleigh. This family-run business offers fabulous Argentinean and Cuban dishes. I often crave the Napoletana, a pork or beef cutlet layered with with tomato sauce, ham and cheese. The Argentinean style beef short ribs with chimichurri are so, so flavorful. You can't go wrong with their Cuban sandwich, make sure to try the housemade hot sauce and order a jar to take home. Bonus, visit on a Saturday morning for an awesome breakfast with delicious pancakes.
Monster's House (Monster's House): Just left and the food was absolutely great, loved it
Omar Oropesa: Oh boy... A Cuban Argentinean Restaurant in the heart of Raleigh. Great location, Great customer service, great tasting food and very clean at a moderate price. The food is cooked on the spot. Good for the whole family. I strongly suggest. 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Jose Luis Gil: Excellent food, unbeatable cappuccino.
Ryan Armbrust: Smaller place, just a short walk from the Capitol, but worth every step. It wasn’t very busy on a Monday at noon, but I have no idea why. Nice atmosphere, friendly server, and the food turned out to be excellent. I ordered the Milanesa a Caballo sandwich with fried yuca, and it was absolutely wonderful. The homemade hot sauce was also fantastic, and I used about half of what was provided. My sandwich was hot and clearly freshly made. Steak was very thin, very tender, and flavorful. Good-sized portion for about $10, too! Yuca was crisp on the outside, creamy on the inside. My only disappointment was that the bun was pretty generic and nothing special. Otherwise this was a great meal and I’d eat here again without hesitation.
Vivienne Figge: Tasty lunch but huge portions and very friendly staff
Kyle Smalling: Always a great spot for lunch, delicious food!
Thyago Araujo: Love the flank steak.
Carolina Reyes: We went there last night, the heater was broken and they had a portable heater that I think was just a waste of energy because it didn’t do anything i was literally frozen!! The server was running around like a chicken with the head cut off, he was just ok, we had to get up couple times to remind him what we asked for you can tell that is a boy trying to do a job that he has not experience at all, he just need to learn how to serve in a restaurant. Food was so so, as a Hispanic I’ve tried parrillada so many times and I can tell this was not the best, my husband’s is way better. Quantity of food it’s ok but I think it was a bit overpriced. This is not a place that I would come back.
bernardo de abreu da silva: The attention was very bad and the food was served cold and tasteless. Too bad and too expensive...
Howie: Very well prepared food.Bread was cheap, however the service and friendliness of the staff was great! The food, other than the bread, was prepared with skill and was delicious. This is worth trying, long time mom and pop from Argentina I believe. The steak was worth it!Prepared with skill and thoroughly enjoyed!I'll be back!
Angelique Smith: The food was pretty basic for the high prices. I would of loved if it was more authentic.
Amor del Alma: 😄
Jay: Tasted very ordinary. If you like bland food with a high price tag but nice setting like ruby tuesday. This is the place for you.
Rick Root: I went hunting for some amazing churrasco, and I found it here! The whole menu looks delicious, I can't wait to visit again!
Robin Vander Wall: Excellent food at a reasonable price!
