Pac C: I have been around the auction business in other areas for a long time. Knowing the auctioneers you buy from are honest and above board is extremely important. I can say I would and have recommended Hoy to many and will continue to do so. They are honest, professional, and incredibly welcoming to work with both in selling for you and buying from them. You don't have to be a local to be treated like a friend.

angela heavenridge: Very unprofessional to my husband. Did not seem interested in our business at all. My husband had been recently diagnosed with cancer and we needed help liquidating some items we had in storage. My husband sent him pictures of older furniture and items that we had in storage. He basically told my husband that he couldn't help him and that he was only looking for name brand things. My husband with so put off by his attitude, and didn't even bother to tell the people at Hoy that I had in storage sterling silver pieces, over 40 pieces of roseville pottery, as well as a roseville pottery dinnerware set, around 8 Lalique pieces, well over 40 Hummels, a few Baccarat pieces, Lladro, Ainsley china and some other "old junk". Butt hey, my junk wasn't good enough. They do not care about people at all, only how they can make a fast dollar. By the way, everything I had in storage was bought from hi bids.
Priscilla McLamb: The Hoy Auction Company usually buys from a number of people and has a large room full of all styles of furniture, lamps, what-not, oriental rugs, just about anything you want, they will have. They have a Website where you can view before going plus you will have time to look at the items in person. You register at the door and there is a percentage you pay if you purchase anything. Seats are provided for your comfort. We thoroughly enjoyed each time we went. The Staff was very nice.

Erin McMurtrey: So helpful! We bought some furniture through the online estate sale, which were gorgeous, and they were so nice and helpful when checking out!
Ryan Kleinschmidt: I would not recommend this auction company. They mislabeled an item as an antique and were cold and unapologetic in their response. They did offer a return with a very narrow window, but it is not possible for me. It's a shame because I sell many items and if I misrepresent something it is up to me to fix the issue, not put it on the buyer.

Kenold Francois: I bided on a van they said it was pending on seller approval,the same day at night time the van disappear and never added to my account and couple days after they charged me $1000.Please when it’s pending on seller approval and you don’t see when and how much to pay call them because they will make you pay for their mistakes .

WASEEM EMRAN: I spend half a million a year at IAA and have always had a good experience with Raleigh branch. I am located 3 hours from Raleigh and every single time I’m running late they will put my cars outside the gate to help me out. Every single time. They have always done this for every pick up I do. When I called ahead today to let them know I’ll be about 30 minutes late, they were very rude and acted like they have never done that for me before. Every car I have bought they put outside the gate if I’m late. I was trying to figure out what I could do to fix this issues since the office women said they supposedly had never done that before and she was extremely rude and aggressive. For the amount of money I’ve spent with IAA and the usual pleasant experience I have, this time I was very shocked by the display of aggressive behavior.
brandon liepins: Worst customer service at any of the branches. First gave a phone call and asked for the time, after 3 hours of driving they told me I was 10 minutes late and cannot get the vehicle even though I talked to them on the phone. Came back to get my vehicle today, and they made me wait while assisting other people who showed up over 30 minutes to 45 minutes after me. This location needs a new staff and reorganization

Jared Thornburg: Complete ripoff. I agreed to pay a certain amount. They ran my card for more than I agreed and are refusing to refund. I will not dea with this fraudulent company again.
CannonBall: Buyer beware. I won a vehicle for $2075. They added a $480 buyer fee. $79 service fee. $89 internet fee. $10 environmental fee. For a total of $2733. I was then given 2 options to pay, either sign up for their floor plan or paypal which charges a 4.5% fee. I called to inquire about other methods of payment. After being on the phone an hour, I was not eligible for their “ipay” which is ach because I dont buy $50k in vehicles every 6 months, and if I pay in the branch with a credit card, I would have to pay an additional fee on top of that. Completely ridiculous.

Radio Rescue: Office staff are normally friendly.Fees are high so know that before you buy. Wait times are long on the day or the day after the auction. Use to be much shorter. Sometime's there will be forklift damage so expect that. Had a truck drive shaft fall out and run over by a loader. Don't expect them to be responsible. Wear a safety vest when you go in to pay. Put one in the truck before you leave. They don't take cash above a few hundred so get a money order or cashers check. ALWAYS double check there title work. If you leave and find out later. That's your problem. If you do all these things you should be fine
