Yan Li: I had one of the best art gallery viewing experience in a long while. The art works are very creative with works by both accomplished artists and fresh new comers. The gallery has variety of art works exhibited. Some works are very decorative and some are very collectable. Please stop by the gallery if you find yourself in Raleigh Downtown area.

Steevie Parks: I recently discovered this amazing little gallery in downtown Raleigh, right next to CAM and VAE. . There is a new and impressive gallery exhibit for each month in addition to several smaller rooms where the 12 resident Artists show their work. The gallery shows are all juried, and often represent Artists from all over the country. This is important to me because the works reflect a much more diverse range of Artists and styles than are typically seen in the triangle. The owners are warm and friendly and work hard to make the gallery the very best that it can be. Their prices range from quite low to moderately high. There is truly something here for everyone! I highly recommend this gallery to art patrons of all ages and stages of art appreciation.

If you are looking for art for your office or home you are at the right place. My favorite art is the photography of the famous Carolina gentleman Watson Brown.Many of his photographs are framed with a keen eye of frame to subject and many are in plastic and fiberboard for you to spend an hour or so browsing.Another charm of Gallery C is the art with a touch of wit and humor. I left with a Watson Brown and going back to browse again soon. The Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommended+Google Local Guide..
Dontgettoknow M: I arrived at Gallery C on a special weekend when the owner , Charlene Newsome, was promoting one of her favorite artists with an out door party and cook out! It was so much fun. Charlene personally showed me around and showed real interest in my tastes and needs and budget. I had just stopped in to see why there was a crowd there and left with a beautiful painting that is hanging this day in my living room and is a constant conversation piece. Later , I came upon an article in Walter Magazine that was authored by Charlene. As it turns out, she has art history credentials that got her a reoccurring column!Gallery C is located in an historic home in downtown Raleigh that is a perfect venue for viewing art. Big rooms, tall ceilings and lots of light.

Sandra Smith: Tiny hole in the wall place with a wonderful old door inside and an interesting exhibit. I thought the work of the chain linked fences holding back African American bodies was especially powerful. Ms Childers was wonderful to chat with and her knowledge of art in general, upcoming exhibits all over town and local artists was most informative. Serendipity found us big time because it turned out that my nephew and his wife, who live just outside of LA, are best friends of hers! Therefore, I proclaim this place magic! 😃😁😃😁💫🔮🌠🧚🏼♀️🤩❤️

Claire Gibbons: I recently visited this gallery and was impressed with the variety of different art they have exhibited. The staff was courteous, attentive and knowledgeable. I brought in several pieces to frame. They have an extensive frame selection and Anne was very helpful in helping me choose frames that complemented the art pieces. I highly recommend.
Hope Jepson: If you are looking to get something framed, do not waste your time here. There are much better other options in the area that value customers and retain staff that knows what they are doing. This is a store that happens to do framing.
amy rikhoff: Ever in my life have I need treated more rudely in a shop as Margaret treated me yesterday. I came to North Hills for 2 days to specifically shop for frames/shadow boxes for some prices I am working on. She told me several times “that one is expensive” and “have you tried Micheals”. With a 15k budget for the items I was looking for she would not even give me a quote. As a 50yo woman who has been in the art and design biz for nearly 3 decades it is super sad that she is a representative of local artist or the art would in general. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE!

Kevin: I really do hate to leave this review but I feel it's necessary. I had been wishing to see this store for awhile and over the past week I stopped in looking for Christmas gifts. I was the only customer in the store the entire time I was in the store. There were a minimum of four different employees I saw. In the five minutes I was in the store (not a huge store) not one employee said hi, acknowledged me, or even nodded in my direction. Talk about not feeling welcomed. For what it's worth I was dressed very appropriately for walking into an art gallery so I don't think it was a matter of ignoring the weird looking man until he leaves.The store is nice; it's in a nice shopping mall; hence the two star review but customer service should be a 0 star review.
