Flour Power North Hills: what do users think?
Crystal Hinton: Amazing place for children's birthday parties had an great time very clean and organized. Can't wait to come back for adult cooking fun 😊
Heather Dundon: We had a memorable team building event at Flour Power Cooking Studio, thanks to Denise's flexibility and accommodation. She seamlessly incorporated our dietary restrictions and our desire to do a competition-style event. It was a great success, filled with friendly competition and delicious food. We look forward to booking another event at Flour Power!(P.S. The red team and the blue team tied!)
Anna Yount: Highly recommend Flour Power for a birthday party! The kids had the best time making cookies and pizza! The staff could not have been better- the manager, Denise was SO easy to work with leading up to the party and the staff working the party were excellent and kept the kids happy and engaged! EASIEST party spot!
Christy Rogers: We loved our daughter's birthday party at Flour Power! The children were engaged and included in each step of the cooking process, the staff was great with children, and our daughter and her guests had so much fun! Thank you, Flour Power!
Linsey Palazzi: If no one in your house has ever cooked or baked with your child, this might be okay. My daughter has baked before and we were expecting more. Baking was whole group, one person added flour and passed the bowl to the next person who added sugar, etc. Waaaay too much downtime for my 6yo. Instructor repeatedly gave kids a direction and then turned away to do something else, then seemed surprised by the mess. No discussion of measuring correctly, avoiding germs (one kids sneezed all over everything), or safety. The instructor repeatedly said, “I’ve never made donuts before, so this is a learning experience for all of us.” The donuts turned out poorly, as is to be expected the first time an instructor does a recipe. Why wouldn’t you try a recipe before you teach it to someone?
Cynthia Boxberger: We had a party for my 8 year old son here. The hosts were engaging, patient, funny and friendly. The kids got very comfortable with them very quickly. I loved just showing up not having to worry about or do anything for the party; they had everything covered.
Vanessa Flores: My daughter had a wonderful time celebrating her bday with her closest friends. This is an intimate setting, 10 kids and yet plenty of room for parents to mingle. Deborah and Mackenzie were great with the kids having them participate in all sorts of tasks; from grating cheese, kneading pizza dough, to pouring sprinkles into the mixer. The smiles on those kids faces said it all!! Parents and kids told us it was an awesome party— and we agree! So much fun!
Justine De Angelo: I mistakenly enrolled my daughter for a kids night out last Friday for the wrong location. The employee I spoke to as well as the owner today were very accommodating, allowing my daughter to stay at the class and had great follow up to make sure everything was taken care of. I appreciate their flexibility and making sure that my daughter had a great time regardless of my mistake. Thank you so much and looking forward to my daughter attending again!
Patrick Hardy: Denise was fantastic! We gave her the challenge of helping us bake 70 dozen cookies in 3 hours. Mission accomplished!
Amanda El-Kholi: We recently celebrated my daughters birthday here and it was so fun for the kids! Denise and Deborah were lovely and kind and really tried to bring our theme to life! Would definitely return for a future party.
Willie Walker Jr.: Great experience for the kids they had so much fun and the stuff was awesome!
Hunter Davis: Terrible experience for my child. Save your time & money. EDIT: The manager reached out to me and I am even more disappointed. The “we’re right, you’re wrong” response I received was not only insincere but demeaning.
Adri Taylor-White: My daughters 5th birthday at Flour Power was a huge success! All of the kids had an awesome time! Everyone felt included, got turns stirring, mixing, chopping, and tasting! Several guests said it was the best party they’d ever been to!
Laureen Daw: For the amount of money paid for this party I expected so much more. The studio itself is super cute but the atmosphere is very dull and had zero energy. I asked about music and the employee put music on his cell phone…not a speaker just phone and it lasted a few minutes. The employees were pleasant but lacked in zeal. As I stated above for this amount of money it should of been much better. Overall I got $150 party for the over $300 I paid. Disappointing.
Mary Kathryn Kimray: Loved our experience!!
Rachael Pleczkowski: Positive:Quality,ValueOur daughter had her 7th birthday at the North Hills location and loved! The two ladies who ran the party were nice and kept the kids on track. All of the kids raves about the food they cooked and everyone ate it! It was the absolute easiest party for me to throw because they handled everything!
gina shoemaker: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityWe had my daughter's 13th and 14th birthday parties here. The kids had a BLAST! The ladies helping with the party were so patient and kind. It takes a LOT of patience with a bunch of young teenage. I would recommend this place to anyone for a birthday party!
Pravin Naidu: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueWe celebrated our twins 11th birthday party at the venue. The staff were friendly and the kids had a great time. I Would highly recommend the venue.
Howard Longino: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueHad a fantastic and fun 11yo birthday party for my daughter. The staff were fun, well prepared, and engaging. Thank you!
Kathy Patton: It was a cute idea and the young man (Brad or Bry) made every effort to engage and encourage the kids. He really made the party enjoyable. We did not receive the same level of entertaining the kids from his helper.
Charlotte Siddons: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,Value

Wynton's World Cooking School: what do users think?
Rachel Torre: Love coming to these classes! I’ve done knife skills and tapas and sangria class. Both were excellent and so much fun!! Definitely recommend!!
Jessica Israel-Filipkowski: Had such an amazing date night experience! My husband and I did the Spain class. Wynton is incredibly knowledgeable and truly does an amazing job not only teaching you how to cook the dish but also educating you on the background of the dish you’re preparing. Truly exceptional experience!
Blaine: Chef Wynton hosted our corporate team building class and it was a 10/10 experience—Probably the best company outing I’ve been on.Looking forward to come back for a date night in the future!
Amy Johnston: Our Girl Scout Troop had a cooking class and they LOVED it! Teamwork was encouraged, everyone learned a new skill and the food was delish. Chef Wynton was wonderful with the kids~
Barbara Knott: So much fun! I'm learning the basics of cooking. Chef Wynton makes learning easy. And we get to eat!! Do not hesitate to try to secure a spot in a class.
Carly Dressen: Purchased the donut class as a Christmas present for my mom and we really enjoyed it! Very hands on and we got to go home with new skills and lots of delicious donuts to share.
cocoloco marie: There are a lot of things that you learn from Wynton’s classes. He has patience of a Saint, when being shown the correct ways of showing procedures he’s never condescending. You come away from these classes with feeling you can do anything in the kitchen. From learning knife skills, learning the importance of prep, learning making fresh pasta & cake decorating and cooking restaurant quality dishes. Take the experience, you will never regret your decision.
Jo Williams: Such a fun and awesome place to learn new cooking techniques and recipes with the classes and date night options.
MBC63: A really enjoyable evening....great food, great company and great "tunes"......just like cooking with friends in your own kitchen on a Friday night but with an expert on hand to give you confidence to try new recipes.....Chef Wynton has created a cool vibe.
Rajee Kumar: Chef Wynton was knowledgeable, entertaining and most of all we learnt to cook some amazing Moroccan food. Will be back for more classes absolutely count on it!! Great experience.
carole holt: A great night with good food and company. We loved the paella and the tapas were so good! would love to do it again. Wynton was knowledgeable but a good sense of humor and a great storyteller. Makes us want to go on one of his trips!
S Orosco: Wow. So where do I begin? If you’re like me, and you’re hesitating about whether or not you want to pay to cook ? Hurry up and book. This was such a phenomenal experience, it exceeded my expectation by leagues. Wynton is so knowledgeable and genuine, this man loves food and you’re going to be glad to have experienced him when you’re done. Book! I’m already looking for the next event !
Alberto: Had a great time at the Italian Hot Pocket date night. Wynton is awesome and we had a lot of fun learning how to cook.
Landon Simmons: My wife and I recently participated in the Thai cuisine cooking class and had an absolute blast. Chef Wynton Mann provides a fun experience for all involved. It was a joy to witness the passion he has for sharing his love of the kitchen with others.Highly recommend booking a class with Chef Wynton whether it’s a date night or a family outing
K F: My husband and I took an evening Thai cooking class in January. It was a really nice experience. Chef Wynton assigned the small class different parts of the meal. He demonstrated various parts of the cooking and gave some great tips to help us when we are home. Chef Wynton was personable, knowledgeable and easy going. The food turned out so tasty! The recipe was quite easy and can be replicated at home. The only problem with Wyntons cooking school is that he is so popular, the classes are sold out months in advance! He is expanding his space soon so that should allow better access to his wonderful classes!
Charlie Hughes: Had the best time here this evening with my wife and friends. The chef is amazing and our food was bussin bussin! Will definitely be back.
Katrina Henderson: My husband and I had the best time at the Taking over Tokyo cooking class. Chef Wynton is personable and funny and makes everything a great time. We could not have been happier with the class and will absolutely be back soon for another one.
Naomi Moraa: Really enjoyed this class - Tuscany for Two. Chef Wynton is very organised, he designed each course thoughtfully and delivered the class well, and with so much laughter in the middle of it all. Also met other wonderful couples - it was well worth our money (and Saturday evening).
Alan LaMore: We went to the 'Date Night for Couples' class and had so much fun!Chef Wynton is great! So much knowledge, great sense of humor and far too humble. (get him on the topic of NYC and you won't regret it 😉).This is a really fun and different idea for a date. So glad we went!
Chelsea Holland: My partner snd I attended the “Drop It Like It’s Hot” themed cooking class with Chef Wynton himself! We had an amazing time. The class was really engaging and hands-on, and chef Wynton was a great instructor. He gave us so many good tidbits and really shared his passion for great food. Everything we made was delicious. We will definitely return snd be gifting this experience to other friends as well!
Jenny Craig: This class was a blast, I will definitely do it again.

Sur La Table: what do users think?
Morgan K: Cooking classes here are very over priced for what is received. Most of the prep work is done before hand and there are dishes that they don’t even let you touch and it is fully made by the instructor. The class was only an hour even though 2-2 1/2 hours was written on the class descriptions and this time could have been used for learning more prep activities. All in all for $90 I pretty much just learned how to make risotto and was then served raw chicken and a salad with mold/fungus on it. Just watch a YouTube video instead and save yourself from food poisoning.
Thomas Cockrell: Incredibly disappointed. Do not recommend. First off we paid $180 for a macaroon cooking class. They’re made with inexpensive ingredients like butter, flour, sugar, and yet we couldn’t even make our own. We had to share a station with other people. And the “chef” doesn’t have her own station so she does a portion of our task and then let us finish. So we maybe got to do 30% of the steps. She had us browse the store for 45 mins waiting for them to dry and bake, we came bake to very undercooked macaroons and she blamed us and the humidity in the room. We would’ve been much better off buying the ingredients our self and watching a YouTube video at home. Also during our class she was cooking and prepping for another class. We were offered no drinks, no water, no snacks during a 3 hour cooking class that again cost $180! I have nothing positive to say about this place.
VICKI AUSTIN: I took the Beef Wellington class with Chef Caitlin. What a fantastic experience! The food was incredible. And she is engaging, knowledgeable, and funny. I will definitely be back to take another one of her classes with my husband.
Tim Allen: Absolutely awesome focus on the customer. I was looking to upgrade my knives. A staff member asked if she could help, explained the difference between brands, uses and types of knives. She let me handle some so I could feel the difference to help me decide. While my wife and I were shopping we were offered a hot espresso or cappuccino. In two visits we had two knives sharpened and bought three, in addition to some placemats, towels and more.
Azhar Rehman: Great store (love everything), and usually great people, but had an individual helping my mom and I that was extremely disappointing. She was very rude and disrespectful asking if we can pay for a product we asked for in a condescending manner. Very disappointed as my mom shops their often. Sad experience and hope things improve. Item in question was purchased and made sure to close the transaction by another great person
Martin Brossman: Not a big cooker but I wanted a better cooking pan and Jeffrey gave me excellent advice, and I’m excited to use the new pan I just bought. They have a wide selection at competitive prices and offer cooking lessons here.
Drew Bass: Bold Tuscan flavors was a great class! Chef Catelyn was amazing! 10/10 recommend, was a great experience!!
Philomena Golden: The cooking class was so much fun. We had a fantastic time
Jessica Clark: This review is primarily for the cooking classes. Overpriced, especially considering you share what you make with another person or couple they randomly pair you with. Did not learn how to make everything that was described in ad for the class, half of it was already made to "save time" (we were there for two and a half hours) and all we really did was chop vegetables. Because we were working together with another couple and had to consider their taste preferences, we ended up with a very under seasoned dish. We were most excited to learn how to make the peanut sauce for the spring rolls, but that was premade ahead of time. Same with dessert, it was just handed to us. No recipes provided after class. Didn't really feel like I learned anything new, and the food ended up tasting bland. The store was pretty, the staff up front was nice and the chef was also engaging and helpful when people had questions.Adding - they emailed the recipes the following day. Still, I could look up a recipe online for peanut sauce and coconut sorbet. Would have appreciated more instruction on these items, even if if the chef prepared the sauce in front of us.
Shela Johnson: They do have lots of selections of kitchen/ baking stuff. But I feel like that they have overpriced their products. I received a present that someone bought from Sur La Table, However, I didn't receive the gift receipt. They didn't allow me return or get a store credit. They are not a customer friendly store. I would not shop there if I can find the thing I need somewhere else.
Kristin Alves: We had an unbelievable experience in a private event class in which our chef Kaitlyn helped us learn how to make delicious mouth watering cronuts!! We came to sur la table reserving the private class and got to choose what we wanted to learn how to make. We not only learned how to make the croissant donut but we learned how to make several fillers and glazes and *everything* was insanely good. They created such an amazing experience that I think it's been the best christmas present I've ever given....HIGHLY suggest!!
Bill McKeown: Cooking classes are fun, informative and delicious! We've been to a few classes, and the experience is great. We love meeting new people and learning to cook a gourmet meal. And eat it of course. Our most recent class with chef Katelyn, was the best. She's awesome. Smart, funny, positive and engaging.Highly recommended.
Nancy Tavalsky: Bought these pots several months ago at Sur La Table. Paid $1000 on sale from $1500. They’re Viking brand. I’ve never had expensive pots before so I was so excited. Several uses later the black starting coming off the bottom of the pots. I emailed Sur La Table corporate and they said they couldn’t exchange for something else that I needed to go to Viking. Viking tells me they don’t do anything with pots and pans that the vendor needs to take care of it. So I’m getting the run around. Sur La Table doesn’t want to take care anymore of me
Samantha Hall: Do not do order pickup here there is no point. Trying to save some time during the holiday season and the "pickup" means you have to wait in the 40 person long line any way when there are several floor helpers standing around.
Christine P: We had a great time at the French pastry baking class with Chef Caitlyn. We were able to take some of our creations home...only some because we ate the rest when they were fresh out of the oven. I would definitely take another class at this Sur la Table.
Denise: Stopped in today just to look around ended up picking up a few things couldn't live without. Super friendly and helpful staff.
Michelle Sinnott: Very disappointed in the manager. My husband wanted to buy a yellow spatula. We looked at the exact same one in red but that was $2.00 less..We spoke to the manager and he in no way was going tolet the yellow go for $12 instead of $14. With the very high prices in the store giving a senior citizen the $2 differencewould not have hurt them. We will never go back to such a greedy company!!
Wendy Penfield: Such a friendly and helpful staff....if you don't see what you are looking for on the shelf, just ask! She found it for us!
Kenny Wade: Definitely going back had a good ole time!
Michael Honaker: Absolutely amazing experience! The chef was awesome, as well as the kitchen staff. The date night is a really fun time with great recipes. Get some wine, meet some cool people, and have a nice time in cooking class! Plus, if you're in the cooking class, you get a discount in the store!
Logan Holshouser: We arrived for a party of 10 (9 after one person could not come) with a small grouping of balloons, a box of party favors (aprons and gifts for the bride) and a bag of wine for our cooking class to celebrate the bride to be.When we arrived to set up, the cook, Rachel, greeted us with a sour demeanor without saying hello or welcoming us to the class, but to state “just so you’re aware, this is NOT a private class, there will be other attendees.”We knew this wasn’t a private cooking class but didn’t understand the brut hostility upon arriving. My mother, who booked the class for us all, responded by explaining that she had emailed with whoever was in management/booking about our small party and that we would bring party favors and wine to share with the group. Rachel was reluctant to understand or inquire further about the emails that had been shared and was rudely expressing how she knew nothing of the emails or what was planned for our party.I expressed that there was no need for hostility or disrespect towards my mother and she turned and said “well you don’t have to be here if you don’t want to.”Mind you, we paid $80 a person for our 10 person group, hoping to have a fun experience for my sisters bachelorette gathering. We moved forward after her rude remarks and gathered to start cooking. Throughout the class she was rude, dismissive, and out right disrespectful to not only our group, but the other couples. At one point, the couple next to us expressed being afraid to ask her questions because of how annoyed she seemed to be.One of our group members asked a question about the next step of cooking and she rolled her eyes and spoke so condescendingly, that we stopped engaging and just tried to get through to the end of the class. We were hopeful for a fun experience, but we will NEVER recommend this place to anyone thanks to Rachel.Joy was a helper in the kitchen who was incredibly kind and helpful, but her assistant was just as rude (an older woman with black hair) as Rachel. It’s a shame that we came here to make a memory with our family and it was ruined by the sour and disrespectful attitude of Rachel. For $80 a head, you’d think that would come with a knowledgeable chef who loves to teach people how to cook.

Edible Art Bakery & Dessert Cafe: what do users think?
Charlotte Collins: I'm a lover of all things sweet and this place understands me.
Erica Monique Vilsaint: Since my wedding day, I have consistently used Edible Art Bakery as my go-to dessert shop for every special occasion. Cakes are moist, dense, decadent, and flavorful! I tend to stick with what I love, so the Almond Amaretto Cake is a staple for my family. When I want to be adventurous, I pick a cupcake to try! You can't go wrong with entrusting them with your special day or milestones throughout the year!
D Lee: I ordered a 4 pack of cupcakes. The were some of the best cupcakes that I have ever had. The lady who helped me was super friendly and helped me select my cupcakes. The serve other bakery items and coffee. I will definitely go back to try other items
crate home living products: This place has beautiful cakes but their customer service is lacking. I ordered four cakes from them for my kids birthdays over a period of a month, I did it all through email so there would be written documentation of pricing and details well in advance. They changed the price on me several times without details to the cakes changing. It seems as if they get a few extra bucks out of people where they can because they know people won’t question a few bucks over it. The first set of cakes in May were around 225 for 3 cakes, and the second cake in June was 200. I paid a deposit of $225 as 50% was due, assuming they would apply half to the June cakes and the rest to the May cakes so I would owe a solid 100 on both at pickup. On pickup of the May cakes, they stated I owed closer to 120, in which I asked if the 125 could be applied so I could only pay 100 and then owe 100 also at the next pickup. They refused to do this. If I’m paying more than half which is what’s required for deposit, I should get the say in where the extra I paid gets applied. Paying this left a balance of 86 dollars for the cake in June. I confirmed that ok, if I pay this much now - that will leave me only owing 86 for the June cake. I had emails with documentation showing what was owed and what was paid. Prior to pickup of the June cake I paid the entire remaining balance online and emailed them letting them know, to make pickup quicker as it was already rushed to pickup in time for the party that afternoon. They emailed back saying that I would still owe 3 dollars. When I asked where the extra $3 came from, they couldn’t give me an answer. Upon pickup, the younger woman was extremely rude about the 3 dollar balance (that I didn’t owe to begin with, emails of total balance would prove that). I didn’t question it and just paid. Also, they messed up my sons smash cakes and wouldn’t own up to it. I asked for different shades of green polka dots and borders to be added. The color scheme was green. After picking up, I realized the borders were white. Which was already strange being that the cake was white, why put borders that can’t even be seen being that they’re the same color of the cake? I went back and checked my email and verified where I asked for green borders, and in the checklist response - she confirmed different shades of green polka dots and borders to match the color theme. I called and pointed this out, in which she denied it stating it doesn’t specify the color - when you can look through the email and see where I specifically asked for green. They didn’t offer to have me come back in and fix them, or to discount off the next cake. Being that I was spending almost 500 on 4 cakes, if they weren’t willing to fix their mistake (or at least own up to it and apologize), they could have added a few bucks for the 200 I was spending the following month on a large cake to feed 40 people. Unless you specify every detail, they’ll also leave everything extremely plain. My sons 8 inch cake was supposed to be a dinosaur theme, and although it did have candied rocks, the entire rest of the cake was completely plain white. Being that it went up $100 dollars for that little bit of decoration, they could have done better. Not overly pleased with this place. I feel like we could have gotten better decorated cakes from Walmart for much cheaper.
Dave S: Best cupcakes and cakes in Raleigh. Been here probably 30 times over the last 5 years and they never disappoint. Amazing and creative flavors. The cinnamon spice cake I ordered for Thanksgiving last year was the best cake I've ever had.
Susan Cowperthwaite: Of course! 5 stars - goodies & staff!
Felicia Clayton: Absolutely delicious. Staff was attentive and professional.
Dr. Antwannette Kozlow: Great cake and cupcakes flavors. They change up the cake and cupcake flavors often.
Nakisha Tompson: I have kept visiting a few times in hopes that my experience would match what some of the 5* reviews rave.Aside from the lovely older woman as the Cafe (the owner, possibly), nothing good has come out of my visits. The flavors sound amazing, but my husband and I have gotten 4 cupcakes on 8 of their BOGO tuesdays within a year's time - the inconsistency in quality and flavor has been the only cobsisten thing here. The cakes are either dense and stale, or undercooked and flat. The frosting is typically also dried out, grainy, and too sweet - which surprises me because I will watch sugar cubes for fun, but not these cupcakes. The new, younger staff is also so rude and a few times I've asked questions, and they seemed annoyed, and I asked about ingredients and pricing, and they say something, I ask again, and they backtrack with no apology and almost accusatory. Real sad experience.
Barbara Hauber: I cannot say enough great things about them, I love the cookies the most the level of art and love they put into everything reflects in the taste. I love surprising people with cookies made for them and anytime I've asked they haven't just delivered but exceeded expectations! Oh, and I must mention they have the best macaroons I've ever had in my life, I almost don't want to tell the world because they sell out fast already, but try it and trust me.
Jared: Amazing, Kind and attentive person took my custom cake order and when received it was very delicious, the chocolate ganache frosting is heavenly.
Kyle Oppenheim: Mindy & Erin worked with me to create a custom Vanilla Cheesecake with Applie Pie filling, and it was absolutely incredible!Their cupcakes are also wonderful (the Carrot Cake in particular was next level)!
Rose Rodz: Double chocolate cupcake…on point👌🏽 perfect balance of chocolate and chocolate (chocolate lovers will understand) . My husband order a coconut cheesecake, he is not very into extra sweet things and he really enjoyed it. Staff was very friendly and nice.
Maggie Shupe: The cupcakes were a little too sweet and dry but service was good
John Ward: For a work celebration, to retire an old application system, I specialty ordered a cake to mimic the look of the application. It was a big hit at work and exactly what I was looking for. The almond amaretto flavor was fabulous.
Amber Redmond: Definitely a horrible experience here . Paid 100$ for a cake that looks nothing like Hello Kitty . The colors were wrong and were asked if we wanted to wait for the cake to be redone on the same day as her birthday ? No we had plans and arrangements already set . Today When my wife called up there they definitely talked all over her . Wouldn’t give a refund or anything . I could have gotten that cake did at Walmart for that . So I don’t recommend this place after the last interactions
Michelle Maddage: Great desert! Husband and I went to to dinner then walked to Edible Art for desert. It was close to closing time- but the staff was friendly and happy to assist. I got an Almond Amaretto cupcake. Husband had bananas foster cupcake. Both were moist and dense. Great flavor. Will be back!I’m not a frosting person, but this wasn’t too sweet and I did eat some.If you get the chance, go.
Ruthanne Baird: Felt rushed with my kids to pick their cupcakes to the point as my kids were deciding the service person would go to grab what they said before they decided multiple times. Also the cookie pies were cold and almost inedible, should have been warmed up. Tiny cup of iced coffee with only little creamer cups. Not impressed.
Martin Brossman: Cookies, cakes, macaroons, cupcakes, cheesecake, and more. A very large selection of cupcakes and they have one that’s gluten-free but it has sugar. They also use Larry beans as the coffee. Great service.
Ebony: We were looking for scratch made cake with flavor (emphasis on flavor not just pretty) for our wedding day. After coming in and trying cupcakes with varying flavors and combinations we knew picking Edible Art for our wedding day was a must! Planning was seamless, the cake was beautiful AND delicious. No need to keep a layer frozen for a year as we get a mini cake made on our first anniversary. Thank you all for delivering the cake of our dreams. Definitely gained new customers. We will continue to use for future life moments and everything in between.
Nkem Okorie: The Cake was 500.00 and looked horrible compared to what the displayed cakes in the store looked like. No suggested cake tasting was offered. We were told to come back for a cake tasting when we spoke to them on the phone. We came back just to be told they didn't have the Cake. The staff was cold and unfriendly as though we didn't belong... I'll NEVER suggest this location to anyone, let alone go there.

Cookies arrived on time and looked beautiful an my friend really enjoyed them, definitely will be ordering them again, hopefully for myself this time!
Sheila Cowell: We have been looking for a perfect customer "thank you" gift for our pool company and are absolutely amazed at the quality, taste and presentation of Southern Sugar Bakery's cookie gift!! Their cookies are absolutely delicious and our logo looks flawless! We are so excited to have found Christin & Angie and their perfect cookies!
Irene Lewis: We picked up on Friday for a Sunday party and the cake was still fresh and delicious. Hands down the most popular cake I’ve ever served at a kids party.
Paula Miller: The cookies were beautiful and fresh! Everyone enjoyed them!
Kristen Muse: The cookies were beautiful and it was so easy to order and pick-up. We got compliments on them all night long!
Susan Braithwaite: The cookies were perfectly packaged and arrived quickly! We love them. Beautiful beyond what the pictures showed. Tasty too!
Jackie: We had the team at Southern Sugar make a cookie cake for our baby shower and it turned out incredible! Everybody was a big fan of how delicious it was and the overall ordering/pick up experience was so easy! Unfortunately we’ve finished the cookie cake, but I find myself craving another piece on a day to day basis!

Schneider's Baking Company: what do users think?
Richard Santiago: Just got some macaroons, a red velvet cookie, and a brownie with the wife downtown during pride. A+! The lemon-blueberry macaroons were extra phenomenal. We’ll have the brownie later today! Me and the wife shall come back to the store proper next time we are in town!
H W: The absolute best Macarons & Cinnamon Buns I’ve ever eaten!
Andy Holland: Got some macarons and they were delicious! Very soft and so full of flavor.

Whisk Carolina: what do users think?
Donna Arnold: Stopped by there today, 5/25/2022. They are out of business. Please update your internet information
Megan Fucci: Great cooking classes and great staff!
Sonia W: I was really looking forward to going to this class but unfortunately the customer service was horrendous. My partner was exposed to COVID, tested positive, (in turn I was exposed) and we were unable to make it. I asked if we could reschedule since we'd love to take the class but we were denied due to a 72-hour cancellation policy without even the option to reschedule for a fee. My partner found out about the close contact and tested positive the same day (which is out of his or my control). The representative suggested I bring a guest with me instead insinuating this organization is alright exposing its employees and other customers to COVID. I had to politely explain that choice is unethical and unsafe. I will not being going back, and certainly do not recommend this company to anyone.
Luis Maldonado: A great local shop. If you are looking for kitchenware then look no further. Inside you will find a wide assortment of kitchen items. From the basic to the unique they have it all. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They also do cooking classes in the back of the store. Visit and be amazed at the variety.
Carl Lindahl: Got a whole set of knives sharpened! Thank you!! Very pleasant experience and I will be back when they are needing sharpened again.
Gracie Godley: Lots of wonderful thing & a cooking class? I truly enjoyed my visit although it wasn't what I thought & hoped it was.
Julija Kolenceva: Cute store with a lot of options. Can be a bit pricey but you can find practically everything there. I enjoyed visiting the store and got plenty of ideas for baking and cooking.
Lenny N: Lots of cooking accesories... never saw so many spatulas. I bought liquid vanilla...
Alex Sidorenko: Be aware, they have 2 masked zombies at cash register. If you approach without mask, they going to jump and fight with you. Very rude and aggressive.
June Volstad: Very helpful staff. Bought a nonstick pan and a beautiful Wustof knife.
Roger M: Amazing store with everything that a wannabe chef like me could ever possibly want. Great customer service, very attentive and they really know the products that they carry. Will make this a go to place for all my kitchen supplies.
Kay Uttech: I have had the best experiences at Whisk classes(5x before) learned a lot and met great people , but tonight while mingling with other participants the two of us were shushed by Mary defeating part of the purpose of these gatherings. We were conversational, not disrupting others, and intervention was not necessary and killed an otherwise great experience. We will see when I go back... really disappointing experience with Mary. Angela, Cynthia and Franco were outstanding. Think about your repeat customers.
Max Delacote: Amazing staff, friendly, kind, knowledgeable, helpful, answered all the questions I asked and if they didn't have a particular product they recommended me to another store (even if they have everything you could ask for). Amazing owners as well, Dan and Diana are always very friendly and the place really feels like a authentic family owned store.
Jason Hatt: Cool little shop.
R Lamkin: Left handed wooden spoons are a game changer! Can't wait to find more left handed kitchen tools to make my lefthanded existence easier in the kitchen.
Devon Cole: I arrived to purchase a set of measuring spoons, and I was immediately greeted and escorted to their location. This store has some very nice, high-quality options and I'll definitely be back soon!
Chris Shaw: Great selection and service for novice and advanced chefs. Excellent store for gifts as well.
Todd Yunker: Excellent every time!
Amanda L. Frye: Great knowledgeable staff, affordable prices and amazing knives.
Katya Cook: Bought a large silicone coated non-stick baking pan that doesn't have the toxic chemicals that are in a lot of other non-stick products. This and many other products at Wisk are also made in the USA. So glad I didn't go to target or walmart for sub par quality. The staff are also super friendly and helpful. This is my new kitchen store of choice.
Nick de Silvia: As always great staff that are friendly and fun store to browse and shop.

La Farm Bakery: what do users think?
Todd Byrd: Super short-staffed so they are a bit short with folks. It is one of the only places to get a drink in gates C&D so the Mgr needs to do more to support their team. Working like crazy people!
Seema Anand: We ordered margarita flatbread and grilled cheese. Also got almond croissant and blueberry scone. The food was well made and grilled cheese came with a salad. Flatbread had pesto only on one side but otherwise well made. The savory food was delicious.
Andrew Gilroy: sweet tea is kinda small and strong but great. i love the pretzel
Shannon Pestana: I don’t usually leave bad reviews. I’m at the airport and the flight was delayed. I’ve had very little rest and really needed a latte. I waited in line for a long while and ordered the seasonal toasted marshmallow. I tried my best to drink it but did not like the flavor at all (to my surprise) so I politely requested if they could make something different especially because it costs so much (at the airport). I went with a white mocha and thought for sure it would be good. I sat down and took a sip, and it honestly tasted like they poured a bottle of white mocha into the latte. It was awful and I also feel that it was done intentional! There’s no way it’s made that way.
Luke Barton: Extortionate. Over 10$ for a 12oz latte that is made in a gas station style machine
Paula Bogar Sylvestre: Reaaly good coffee but… the monitor over the coffee machine is full of dust. Needs to be cleaned.
Max Speeder: Wow! Overpriced for what you get. Slow.
Newborn Bean: It was way too expensive and horrible customer service this woman behind the bar with blonde hair and round glasses is so rude and didn’t let me sit in the dine in table even though I was dining in. It was such a horrible experience I will never come here ever again
olivia laizure: bad
Toki nana: A server with blonde hair and glasses working behind the bar was so rude. Like girl is it that serious… we were dining in and trying to sit down and she very rudely said we couldn’t because we were doing to go? We were literally dining in. That honestly threw me off completely and ruined the whole experience. Incredibly rude.
debraj ghosal: Food was good, ordered their margarita flatbread. It was just dumped into the box without any cut. it was very difficult to have it in the airport. Food should be presented with bit more though put to it.Next visit I got the sandwich, which was good. But took a while to get my food, their order sequence was messed up
Evee ,: Was here this AM to order a coffee, service was very slow it took 30 mins in total. 20 min in line 10 minutes to get my order. The same staff taking my order was the same staff making the orders and taking it to client tables. The staff was friendly and tried their best to be timely but there was a huge influx of orders and you could tell the rest of customers were not happy!
Amber Epps: As one of the few places that provides food later in the evening, it was very frustrating that the employees closed early (9:27pm), especially as I just wanted (and communicated that) a pre made sandwich, so I only had to pay for it. There were still guests eating and drinking inside the establishment.
Leigha Brown: Food is very good. Dorothy provided amazing service!! She was literally running trying to keep up with all the tables all by her self. No one was helping her. La Farm needs to hire more staff.
Emily McPhail: This place was so cute! I flew in from Atlanta and had a seat at the bar. I wasn’t sure what to get for my first cocktail but Corinna helped me decide and it was awesome! She made me feel right at home for the short time I was there and I wanted to give her a shoutout for other traveller’s that are coming through Raleigh. Next time I come through I certainly have a place to go!
G Family: Great food. Poorly run. There is always a wait They need to figure that out.
Pablo Martone: Me regalaron un pan con chocolate blanco, riquísimo!! Demasiado rico para sacarle foto....
Kelly K: Baked goods looked amazing! Prob would get that next time instead of wasting money on a breakfast sandwich like this
S Tam: This is an airport restaurant. So don't expect the typical La Farm experience that you'd get at their nonairport locations. The service is fast, and the menu is limited if you compare it to the other locations. The white chocolate baguette was as good as the other locations. The croissants were not good. The ham and cheese croissant was small and not flaky. The plain croissant was absolutely terrible. It was not flaky, undercooked, and doughy. But at 545am, it served its purpose of giving me something to eat before my flight.
Alice C: Located just past security at the start of the D terminal. Lines get long quickly, especially when there are only 2 registers available.House blend coffee is available in 2 sizes: 12 and 16oz and is self-serve when you have paid for your cup size. Milk options are the little non-dairy tubs, no fresh milk or milk alternates.Coffee was hot, but tasted very light - as if there wasn't enough coffee when brewing. I probably should have waited for a cafe au lait or other espresso drink. Many pastries, cookies, and breads on display. My croissant was very crisp and fresh. Prices were as expected for the airport.I didn't see any table service or any food other than pastries and bread. Other reviews mentioned these, but it wasn't available early morning. This is definitely the most busy shop in Terminal D at 6:30am.
Sudhindra Sharathkumar: The food here was ok, not great and not bad but average. Since the airport has very few dining options and this restaurant is right at the entry after security check it seems to be packed with folks waiting to order. The most annoying thing about this restaurant is when you order takeout like most of the customers here are doing. The cashier points to the screen which has tipping options listed , that we get to see in other restaurants too but this place has no option for no tip.In a restaurant the pricing includes the cost of the food, location rental, staff wages built in. If it is dining in a service charge makes sense, for a takeout an optional service charge maybe ok but forcing your customers a service charge for an already overpriced and mediocre food is audacious.
