Russ Keller: Excellent, clean and well run Barber school. It’s kind of tucked away off Capitol blvd, but worth a visit. Mr. Russell does a fine job of overseeing future barbers in training. A hands on school that teaches the art and science of barbering. I never realized how much education and training it takes to be a licensed barber. If you are looking for a good haircut, beard trim, style, etc. and want to save money, give K&B a try.

Dee: Hi everyone I had the privilege of being serviced at Sherrill's beauty salon and I must say I was very impressed with the facilities, clean, shiny and I absolutely loved the colors. I also experienced wonderful treatment by students as well as Mrs. Short, I cannot compliment her enough, her sweet spirit speaks volumes about her character and treatment of clients. I had previously gone to a salon and spent at least 175 dollars maybe more for a cut and color. I wasn't satisfied with cut, and they let me walk out with a bleached tee shirt. Paul Mitchell The School Raleigh: what do users think?
LISA M. JOHNSON: BRENNA, DID A EXCELLENT HAIR STYLIST. SHE DID A WONDERFUL JOB ON MY HAIR, THE CUT AND THE SHAPE UP WAS PART OF HER GREATNESS. SHE IS FRIENDLY, PROFESSIONAL, WARM SMILES ALL THE TIME. MS.RENEE, THE INSTRUCTER IS GREAT EXAMPLE SHE IS LEARNING FROM HER, WILL GO TO THE TOP. I BEEN USING PRODUCTS FOR 9 YEARS. Super HAPPY AS A CUSTOMER.
Alyssa fyfe: Got my hair done by Elizabeth under supervision of Mr. Sterling. I almost didn’t get this haircut because I wasn’t sure there was actually anything to be done (I’m growing my hair back out from a buzz cut and wanted it cleaned up). But I was wrong! It looks and feels so much better.
Mallory Gray: I came in for a color retouch and trim. The color that I wanted was not what I got at all. When she was finished with my hair, I didn't have a chance to really look at what was done because she was ready to go. I think her comb got caught on my earring because its missing.
Angela Hamilton: Zakeyyah was amazing, she listened to what I wanted and took direction from her teacher. Unfortunately the rain and humidity took away the curls and cute layers she put in, but I was so impressed with her!! Her teacher was amazing, I didn’t catch her name; but the way she went through the steps and asked Zakeyyah why she did each step to make sure she knew the reasons of why she would do certain things. She showed her how to put in the layers the way that I wanted them , I even had a picture of what I wanted and that helped her learn different ways of doing things.I’ve had a bad experience with a teacher there, almost didn’t come back, but I’m so glad I did! From now on, Zakeyyah is my girl!!!!. I am going to miss her when she graduates in October!
Crystal GamerAG: Aeon was incredible! They took great care of me and have my hair looking and feeling fabulous!
Darius Mims: Ms. Tshinguta did an amazing job, I am very satisfied and appreciated her attention to detail! Thank you for the amazing service!!
Kaitlyn Critelli: Savanna always does an amazing job on my hair!
Billie Harrell: Had a great time and got a perfect job with Caroline Lindsay
Tammy Srinivasa: Téa was very sweet and did a great job on my hair. I’ll definitely be coming back to her.
Skye B: Octavia did an exceptional job on my two strand twist. She saved the day when my first beautician had a medical emergency. Big shout out to her! I love my hair.
Texas girl: Great service with Dominque.
Danny Rivera: Always end up getting a good haircut here from Aeon, they really help sculpt my hair how im hoping ! :)
Cole Petrocci: Get your hair cut with Presley! She did a great job!
David Cash: Been going here pretty regularly for a few months in the evenings and have been getting my hair done by Valerie. She always does a great job and even is motivated to try different techniques for men's cuts. Several times I've been there and other women on the floor asked her advice oh how to do things and she either showed them or told them how to do it. She definitely loves what shes doing and it good at it!
Tasha Duell: Great customer service.
Divinity McClellan: Had an amazing experience! Amber was super sweet and very professional, I forgot she was a student. Will definitely be back!
DeAnna Palazzolo: Okay so 10/10 for Macy (Macey)? Who cut my hair. She was great, super sweet, worked with me and made sure I was happy along the way. Had to get something fixed before I left. Macy made sure I was happy along the way, taking pictures so I could see the back and make sure it looked how I want. Now the teacher(?) Kiya, HER I have beef with. She came in and interrupted where she didn't need to. She told Macy to NOT take pictures, not show me until it was done to "her vision" like excuse me it's MY HAIR.Macy did fantastic, Kiya really should've just buzzed off, she was a nuisance and a hinderance. Very happy with how my hair looks, ALL thanks to Macy and ONLY Macy.
nun ya: DO NOT ENROLL HERE. speaking on behalf of all students, please go to Wake Tech or Aveda. Cassandra and Elton, the owners, have no background in cosmo. when i toured Elton told me that he was a licensed professional. i am not the only one he has told that to. students pay almost $20,000 and get cheap kits that break within the first month. students do not get to use real products because they “never have any.” students have to “steal” products without “teachers” knowing. students PAY tuition to use products and they are not allowed to and the owners do not purchase products and won’t no matter how many times students beg them to. you will have to purchase your own bleach, color, conditioner, shampoo, etc. students are required to do manicures and pedicures but the schools nail polish is from the dollar store and is so old and expired it has solidified in the containers and crusted over. you will also have to purchase your own hands and feet to practice on because the ones the provide not usable and are probably over 15 years old. you are coming to school to be taught, right? well, then don’t come here. you have no guidance throughout any of the program. they, Mr. J and Renee specifically, will sit with students gossiping for 5 hours straight. we’re supposed to ask for help, right? wrong. asking for help is apparently disrespectful as we are interrupting the instructors while they do their own hair or have students do their hair and nails. every. single. day. the temperature is 74 degrees constantly and students BEG for it to be cooled down, but Elton refuses. clients ask for it to be cooler but again, they refuse. the products used on clients are old and expired. like, seriously old and disgusting. bottom line, if you want to be bullied, harassed, cry daily, be suicidal, get yelled at, and lose passion for cosmetology, come to Paul Mitchell Raleigh. if you would like to have a positive experience where you learn and are taught and valued, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE
Tayna Jacobs: I wish zero stars was possible. I moved to the areas recently and have always loved going to beauty schools, giving students real experience. I am so ashamed of the behavior I saw. These poor students are treated terribly. The young lady doing my hair burst into tears because her “teachers” never came to her aid after she repeatedly asked. I calmed her down and told her I trusted her and to do her best and I will be happy with whatever outcome. She did a wonderful job. I asked the name of a specific “teacher” and was told her name was Lakisha. I have never seen a more disrespectful “teacher” who degrades her students that turn to her for help. Please, do not send your children there. After seeing all of these reviews I will be contacting Paul Mitchell personally. This school needs to be cleared of it’s staff and franchisees.
Francis lopez: I have a very bad experience my appointment was at 10:30am they finish at 6:30pm I just want partial highlights and they charge me 192.00 I want a haircut and she don't cut my hair because she was tired she keep said I have a lot of hair they pull out my hair so much I never have so much pain in my head and I am 8 months pregnant and they take so long I never go back to that place to long time and to much money just for partial highlights
Tonya Stebbins: Went yesterday and would like to state up front that i absolutely adored my stylists (Sally and Megan). They are both five star stylists, hands down and I would love to see either of them again, even after graduation. I felt like both of these wonderful women were at the top of their class and both are going to be successful stylists! They made the hours fly by, were FULL of personality and most importantly listened to what I wanted and gave great advice on their thoughts for what would work best. However, the reason for my 3 star review is:1) Obviously I should have never had 2 stylists but because they scheduled me with someone who couldnt finish due to having other commitments for school, I had to get passed off to another stylist midway through. This ideally should never happen (again, i got lucky and truly liked them both, but professionally, this is not ideal and should not happen)2)I asked for a partial highlight. I was repeatedly told that is what I needed/was getting. I was even willing to go with a "full highlight" if the stylist thought i needed that. Every single person who looked at my hair said no, just a partial. My hair was just fully done 10 weeks ago so this was mostly a touch up.The advertised price for this was something like $35-55 (depending on where you look) I was fully expecting to pay the high end of that because i have longer hair past my shoulders. ...... However, when I got to the counter to pay, a teacher (one of whom had NEVER looked at my hair at any point, even though at least 2 others had), charged me double what I was expecting ($108 for the services, not including the $30 tip). Again, I only had a PARTIAL highlight and I heard both stylists tell her i had "about 20 foils"....... No haircut or style was done, just highlights and wash/blowdry.So, I feel like the instructor/school overcharged for the advertised service. I questioned it but did not make a big deal over it because I was not in any way complaining about my hair and certainly did not want it to sour my great experience with both Megan and Sally. The instructor that charged me simply said that my "partial" used the same ounces of product as some "full" highlights. So, my advice is to trust your stylists (they really are great!) but insist that you know UP FRONT what you will be paying for, because I 100% felt the instructor/school was deceptive in that area and it could/should be improved upon.Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend coming here for services. I would only suggest making it known up front if you have a budget that you want to stay in. This is probably good advice for ANY salon.

North Carolina Board of Barber Examiners: what do users think?
Lord jefe: WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER..MRS.DAVIS WILL NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE !!!
Angela Stephens: North Carolina and South Carolina have one of the worst processing Systems. Their process when handling important information is very outdated. I think it’s time to get some new fresh ideas and new people working in the offices. The hurdles and obstacles an individual has to deal with to get the smallest things process is very difficult.
Oscar Mabry: Lack of availability via phone call during normal duty hours???
Jeff Turbyfill: Very helpful today with the question that i had. The issue was resolved very easily.
Danilo cedano: Is it a crime to answer the phone?
Omar Martinez: Please fix the online renewal website. It’s hard enough dealing with them in person, they never answer the phone or return calls.
ruben contreras: This plave as customers service suck for once ..two if you for get your password to renew ur license is very har to remember all the 3 question they ask or what you wrote down..some one needs to update the webside cuz it sucks
MR. FROST MAX: Love going an meeting new people everytime I come there be there soon.
Anna Perez: I agree with Laura Acosta, I was just in the phone with Mrs. Hopkins and I thanked her for helping and she just hung up the phone on me! Like who do you think you are? It is your job to help a costumer you aint doing no favors out here. Extremely disappointed at the costumer service here. If I could give no stars I would.
Laura Acosta: They have a really good helping staff here but there is one lady MRS HOPKINS who think she is ALL THAT because she is in charge of giving permits. I am pretty sure she is a bitter old lady that does not have any man in her life that is why she is like that but again i could care less about that, but she is the reason why this place only deserves 1 star because she is someone who is supposed to be giving the best costumer service but I guess you cannot teach someone how to be CIVIL.
Bomb’a Blak: I love the barbering course
Adrian Carthens: Adrian Carthens
