We decided we wanted to improve what we originally had from the builder, and we chose The Bath Shop as our vendor. We could not be happier!We worked with Allison Vinson and Jessica Castillo were the designers we worked directly with to make sure we could build what we were imagining, and they were very helpful in pointing us toward tile selections and helping us understand what could and could not be done with our shower space, including providing architectural drawings to help us visualize what the space would look like after installation!They spun us up very quickly, and were able to start installing our new shower and tile within a month of finalizing our design. Demo and install took 20 days from start to finish (they were not here every day), and I want to give a shout-out to everyone involved in the installation because they were all fantastic: Dave Swartzel, our project manager; Daniel and David, who were on the demo team (and David also did some drywall / painting / groutwork for us); Tommy, our plumber; Willie and Jay, who did the tilework; Gaston, who painted our bathroom; and Alex and Jerry, who installed our sliding glass door.We ran into some trouble with our glass door installation, the door vendor was trying a new product and it just didn't really work, causing a delay of about 4 weeks between the time everything but the door was done and when the door got finally installed. During that delay, we worked with Travis, the operations manager, and Edwin, the glass team overseer, as well as Dave our project manager. I was thrilled at the professionalism, communication, and responsiveness of this team to the delay. There was no trying to pass the buck or avoid responsibility, they were just as frustrated as we were, and they worked diligently to minimize the delay in completing our project.You can see our beautiful shower and floor from the pictures I've attached to this review. This was unquestionably, for me and my wife, money well-spent. The final product was superb and the process was enjoyable. The showroom designers provided just the right assistance by understanding what we wanted and making great design and material suggestions. Zachary Hall: I worked with the Bath Shop between November 2021 and June 2022 to remodel several areas of my home. Projects included my master shower, kitchen backsplash, powder room floor, and living room fireplace surround/ mantle. This was my first home and my first remodeling adventure. I selected the Bath Shop because they took the time to understand my needs and were willing to take on several smaller projects at once, rather than a larger home remodel. I worked with Michael, Katie, Jennifer and Travis. Everyone was very professional. The remodeling effort overall went exactly as they described, with a few glitches along the way that they addressed promptly. Melanie Moore: My kitchen came out absolutely gorgeous and I am really really happy with the results. I spend a lot of time in my kitchen; cooking and eating of course, but also laptop time, and it seems to be the central gathering place when friends are over. I love having such a beautiful space to hang in. My kitchen had a functional layout before, but I’m glad I had the ability to tweak the things that weren’t working and add more functionality like the wine rack in the bar area and a cool pull out for the liquor bottles that we never seemed to have storage for before. So the process took longer than anticipated. We ran into a few hangups like slow delivery with the cabinets, and tile shortages, but The Bath Shop was great about solving any issues that came up. My project manager was really quick to respond to any issues. The subcontractors were very conscientious and did excellent work. No sledgehammer demo here. They meticulously removed the old cabinets and countertops so they could be donated. They also sought my input through the entire process to make sure I was happy with the product. Jennie Glish: I did not have a good experience with this company. I realize most reviews of this company are very positive and I am simply presenting my opinion. We hired The Bath Shop last year for a master bath renovation. My sole complaint is with the "designer" that we had the misfortune of working with. I understand he is no longer with the company. I found him unprofessional, unresponsive, and unhelpful. It was not the experience I was hoping for. I had no interest or skill in designing a bathroom. Nor did I have hours to spend finding designs online. I did not have a "vision" in mind, other than the color scheme. I was hoping for someone to present me specific photographs of options and ideas, preferably of bathrooms that The Bath Shop had designed, that I would select elements from and give feedback on and then be presented with proposals. That did not occur. At one point I contemplated hiring an interior designer to work with us to pick the design elements but we were already tens of thousands of dollars into this project and couldn’t really see spending a few thousand more by hiring someone in addition to The Bath Shop. The “designer” told us that most people pick everything out themselves. He also told us more than once that he was working with so many customers he could not keep them straight. It was a stressful process.The subcontractors were great and the end result is better than our original bathroom but I would not work with this company again and I wish we had never hired them. It might be the right fit for a lot of people, especially if you do not need much assistance with the design process.Service:Remodeling

Michael Nodzenski: We had a great experience with the bath shop and would absolutely use them again. We accepted their bid to update both upstairs bathrooms in June, actual renovations began in mid-September and the job was fully complete by early November. They were very communicative throughout and completely upfront about scheduled payments with no surprises. In the course of the renovation we unexpectedly decided to expand the scope of the job and our project manager Mike was able to handle it seamlessly and still completed it on the original estimated timeline. The end result was of high quality and exactly what we wanted.

Kevin Hunt: After a bathroom remodel with this company we were sued because we refused to pay for defective work despite the contract clearly stating that all disputes will be handled in arbitration. After over a year dealing with a legal battle with this company the arbitrator found that The Bath Shop's "defective work caused monetary damages to Respondents". Due to this finding the arbitrator reduced the amount we owed TBS by a large amount. Highly recommend going with another company.Edit in response to the owner comment: We raised issues throughout the process from damaged tile, marble was installed with severe lippage leaving large height differences between adjacent tiles. The tile was ruined due to improper cleaning products. In attempting to correct these issues, they used an angle grinder and rounded the most offensive edges leaving rounded tiles in our mosaic. They then sealed the tile with a high gloss sealant when we had picked a matte finish, this was a wet installation after all. They installed a 3'x3' drain pan in a 4'-6" wide walkout curbless shower. The window the installed had a broken seal evident less than a year after installation. Communication was not made between the sales team and the installers, the tile installation team almost tiled in the window that was to be replaced prior to the old being removed. Thankfully I was there to stop them or that would have been another issue. TBS refused to email or text any responses to the issue insuring there was little paper trail on their end regarding the issues. Thankfully we wrote detailed emails well documented with photos."The reasonable cost to correct the work $14,420.25" that is a quote from the arbitrator. Pictures are available upon request of the terrible tile installation and the water flowing into the bathroom rather than down the drain. Kaitlyn Barker: We remodeled our kitchen and guest bathroom and I love love love the way they both turned out. The nice thing about The Bath Shop is you can do as much or as little as you'd like. In our case, we completely gutted the kitchen and started from scratch.Another huge perk of The Bath Shop is they itemize their quote so you have a really good idea of how much it's going to cost. Of course, if there's anything they come across during the project and it's a much higher expense, that is communicated appropriately. You can't control for everything, but you can get close. I've had contractors say it'll be about 5k and then that number suddenly double because they underestimated the size of the project. This didn't happen with The Bath Shop.Also, if you want to do some things yourself (demo, paint, etc) you can do that and it'll be taken off the estimate. You can also buy supplies if you find them for cheaper (we bought some faucets from Costco, cabinets separately). We did the demolition ourselves and then they picked up after so we were able to save some $$$ there. BUT if you wanted to do everything through them, that's an option as well.Our designer Stephanie was also very accommodating to scheduling when it came to meeting as we planned the remodel. We were able to meet later in the afternoon and on Saturday which is really nice for someone who works M-F.Overall the project finished on time, the only hang up was the supply chain (and that was 100% not the Bath Shop's fault). But otherwise, once materials were in hand, everything went smoothly. As with any home project, there were some hiccups here and there, but the most important thing to me is not what goes wrong, but how they're handled. The Bath Shop handled issues very well and that's what will make me go back to them. J S: Extreme caution recommended before considering doing business with these people. If something goes wrong, you might be out many thousands of dollars. They do not stand by their work or choice of products. They choose cheap poorly-made cabinets with a likely exponential mark up to unsuspecting customers. Please note I have removed the two owners' names because they have threatenedme via email for holding them accountable publicly.Please note: that they found a way to remove my third photo which shows chipping along the entire edge of a cabinet door. Also, the counter tops/backsplash are by a different company.It is reasonable to expect cabinets to last for longer than three months before they start to decay. Three months later and after light use, these cabinets are chipping everywhere -- in about 10 different places. The owners charged me $10,122 for them. Even if these only cost them only $400, this kind of rapid decay would be unacceptable. In comparison, my cheap $100 vanity from Lowes has no issues. I should have been concerned about the quality when the owner would not itemize the invoice.I informed them of the fast deterioration. They sent two guys over with white fill sticks to “resolve” the issue. These cabinets will continue to rapidly deteriorate and white fill sticks are not a solution.So far, they have asked to visit three times and I have accommodated them. During the last visit, both [the owner] and the manufacturer rep visited my home to inspect the cabinets. Both he and [the owner] l acknowledged the very clear issues and said they would resolve the problem.I waited patiently and when I didn’t hear back, I followed up with [the owner]. He decided to now proclaim that this might be “normal wear” or maybe I used them the wrong way. They have to further “investigate” he said.Translation = stall and hope that I will forget the $10,122.Since then I have heard nothing from them except from their social media person responding to this post with condescending instructions to be patient -- after I have waited for 6 weeks and have endured repeated visits, gaslighting and deflection from the two owners.I intend to hold them accountable. The only way to resolve this issue is with a full refund of the $10,122 so that I can install much higher quality cabinets.---Update 8/9/22The owners told me these are from Kitchen Cabinet Distributors.Rather, the cabinets GID sold me were from a company called Blue Valley Cabinets. Kim Bagaasen: We were completely happy with our experience with GID Renovation. Daniil and Oksana were both amazing to work with as well as all their employees that we interacted with. I was terrified of a full kitchen renovation after hearing horror stories from friends about their experience with other contractors. Oksana was amazing on the front end as we designed what we wanted and she could immediately show us changes as we discussed them. They gave us a start date and that was exactly when we started the project and their completion date was right on as well. At the completion of the project Daniil stayed on top of the few punch list items until they were completed. I would highly recommend GID for any renovation project.

I always knew what time the crew was coming and they were very friendly, worked hard, and did an excellent job cleaning up each day. A few problems came up and Daniil was always extremely prompt in calling us to discuss and work on solutions, even on a Saturday. Oksana was great guiding us in the design aspect. Top quality work and trustworthy business and would definitely use them again!

Chandler Brown: Poorest customer service I have ever received. Came to measure for cabinets, ordered them, once they came in and we installed them is was clear their measurements were incorrect leaving us with 3 inch gaps in multiple places. They then ignored me and were so unresponsive I reached out to the wholesaler to find another representative who sold their same brand of cabinets to then purchase $1,000 worth of cabinets to fix the gaps. Never received any apology, reimbursement, or compensation for the additional cabinets I purchased or those that were wasted. This was a horrible experience. Renovating a home is stressful enough. Take my advice and avoid handing over thousands of dollars to receive this poor of service in return.

LINDA GREEN: Long post….. Sorry….. But I have to give Re-Bath its accolades. Re-bath employees are awesome and truly ensures a customer is satisfied 100%. My mother and I needed a partial renovation done to our bathroom. First contact with Re-bath was over the phone with a rep and I believe her name was Marsha. She was extremely pleasant and professional scheduling my appt with a salesman name, Scott. Scott was one of the nicest or most patient sales persons you could ever encounter and came out and explained the process of partially renovating the bathroom. Unfortunately, I had to delay the order due to my dad passing and my mother becoming gravely ill. Scott was the best in understanding the situation and waited patiently for me to contact him back. Around the first of January, I contacted Scott again to start the renovation process of the bathroom. We had a slight delay because my shower door hadn’t arrived but Wayne, the service manager at the time, jumped on the issue immediately. Unfortunately, Wayne was retiring around the same time my shower door would be arriving and a new manager, Devon, would be taking over before my shower door arrived. I was thinking this is going to be interesting getting this bathroom renovated with a changeover in management. Smiles. I was mistakenly wrong. Wayne had given Devon my information and when I spoke to Devon, he had already checked on my shower door and he was just waiting for the shower door to arrive. Immediately, when the door came in Devon called me to schedule the job. The next week a service man, Bob, came out to renovate the portions of the bathroom that I requested. Bob was top notch professional, courteous, always on time and diligent in his work. Bob was so thorough and always ensured I knew step by step what would happen with each process of the job being completed. He was the best installer/service man I had encountered. Still, Devon, the service manager, is the one who sold me as one of nicest managers I have encountered within a business. Later on, I realized I needed some additional work done to my shower door due to my disability and an issue with the commode handle and I called Devon. He immediately got to work on resolving my issues by sending Bob and Todd to resolve the issues and they resolved the issues with easy fixes with no negative attitudes attached. Bob was extremely knowledgeable in fixing the issues and made sure the job was completed to my satisfaction. There was an additional part needed that Bob didn’t have on his truck and Todd came out the next day with his great knowledge and installed the part efficiently as well. Todd had come out to do my inspection of the work that was done previously after the city came out and he came back with the same bubbly spirit to resolve my issues. Bob and Todd assured me that Re-bath will stand behind their work 100% and if I have any issues, just give the company a call. Re-bath did a great job initially but I simply had to revamp some things to my previous request due to my health. Devon totally sold me on Re-bath due his total pleasant disposition, great listening skills and never appearing to be irritated but the clincher was sending his workers back to assist me with a few issues that was no fault of their own. I waited until late the following day and reached out to make sure he received my tile selections and if he had a quote for me. he said he received my email and would have a quote for me the next day (so we went from getting a quote same day,Thursday to I will have one to you on Saturday) This was more than a week ago, I still haven't heard from him. P.: I would highly recommend Betts Designs!Here's why:We asked Betts Designs to provide an estimate to re-do at least the master bathroom shower due to a shower pan that was retaining water due to a poor pitch near the drain (turns out there was a lot more going on!).At the estimate visit, Aaron gave us a head's up that we might need to have some plumbing replaced in our older home so that any renovation would not be in vain (rusting galvanized metal pipes--PVC). We did take care of that through another company and were glad we did so when we saw the condition of the pipes being removed. Aaron then scheduled us a week afterwards to not only take care of the primary project (upstairs master bathroom) but also to re-do sheetrock in a downstairs bathroom and laundry room that had been impacted by the plumbing work.I appreciated the thorough and candid assessments as we moved through the process as well as the fair pricing initially and as we had to tack on extra things: there actually turned out to be major water damage underneath the shower itself and the rest of the bathroom -- we had no idea it was such a widespread problem but clearly it had been a problem for a while. Aaron and Matt shifted gears temporarily to fully replace the rotted two layers of subfloor, wall insulation. and some framing pieces to again... make sure that the renovation work could last too.We have pets and so I really appreciated that Aaron and Matt cleaned up every day, too, and were conscientious about the dust being generated in the house.Aaron was also responsive to our questions along the way. It was clear that the Betts Designs team wanted the process to go well and the renovation work to be high quality.

June Newcomer: Aaron Betts and team did a fantastic job on our upstairs renovation. This consisted of removing texture from hall walls, painting 3 bedrooms and the hall, replacing all room and closet doors, building new shelves in closets, replacing all power outlets and switches, and hanging new ceiling fans and lights. They stayed on schedule, arriving every weekday by 8 am and leaving by 5 pm, with an hour for lunch. They cleaned up every day and hauled away any debris. Aaron was very responsive, and understood quickly what we wanted. We picked out the doors and paint, and he had them delivered. He provided all the products except for ceiling fans and lights, but I'm sure we would have if we'd asked him to. I highly recommend him, and would be glad to respond to any questions you have.

They cracked the marble twice and had to replace that, their fix was going to just use caulk to cover it up, however we insisted they replace it. They would cancel appointments, From signing the contract to them feeling the job was done, regardless if we were satisfied, it was a little more than a year. The primary bedroom was expanded, and a new primary bathroom and walk in closet were added. This involved extensive framing and foundation reinforcements to living room, laundry room, and crawl space below in order to support the new spaces above. To be clear, this was a long and stressful process. The construction phase took nearly six months. Thanks to Chip’s honesty and openness about how remodeling works, we were prepared for this. He also prepared us for the fact that projects of this size always have little “surprises”, and there are always going to be changes to the plan. We had some of those, and they were handled expertly. In spite of all of the challenges facing the construction industry in early 2022, the Riverbirch crew and subs kept our project going forward consistently. Communications were open, we were always able to ask questions, and always had access to observe the work. It was quite a time to be living in a house that was about half construction zone. scott elvington: Chip and his team created a bonus room from our 3rd floor walk up attic. We had considered turning it into a bonus room for many years, and found Chip and his team by searching online. After reviewing other contractors, we decided to use Benchmark and were extremely pleased with the finished product. Chip came out a number of times to assess the project and discuss design ideas with us. We reviewed the budget and believed it was fair and comparable with what we received from other contractors. Chip was there every time to introduce his subs to us, and we felt very comfortable with each of them. Each sub Chip used was respectful, polite, and kept their work-space clean. Our third floor, due to the lines of the roof, was very challenging with many angles, so we had to make some changes along the way. Chip was accommodating with this and worked with us to make the necessary adjustments. The timeline for the job was fair but did extend a little longer than expected. Wes Stichweh: We hired Riverbirch Remodeling for our kitchen renovation after meeting with three other potential contractors. Ultimately, we chose Chip and Riverbirch for three reasons:1. Their process allows you to have a very close estimate of your final costs before getting into the weeds of what all your selections will be, which is nice. Most people don't know those fine details in the beginning, so having a good estimate of cost without those details is helpful.2. They weren't the cheapest. I don't want the lowest bidder making permanent changes to my home. There are so many shortcuts remodelers can make in the form of cheap material and labor to win jobs with low customer costs. I wanted to make sure I was getting high quality workers with high quality materials. I knew I was going to get that after meeting with Chip. If you want something nice, you have to pay a little bit more to get it.3. Communication. I've heard countless renovation horror stories, most of which involve a contractor who never returns calls or rarely communicates the details of the job. Riverbirch gets 5 stars on communication. I had daily updates on where we were with the project, and when there were delays (there will be delays), I was notified immediately and given updated, realistic timelines. Chip did a 3d design for the kitchen remodel, which I didn't think we needed at first, but it allowed us to see multiple options for layouts that we hadn't thought of. He managed to add about 30% more cabinet space. Also, he showed us price and style options for cabinets and even went with us to pick out the tile and the counter. Crystal Thompson: This has by far be one of my favorite experiences. The front desk was very knowledgeable and helpful when it came to any questions I had. The showroom had a lot of different styles to look at and compare to what I have in my head about what I want my kitchen to be. The only issue I did have, when I was leaving a couple of employees were out the front smoking, and as I have asthma, the smell and smoke irritated me. It would be nicer if they had somewhere to smoke that didn't interfere with customers. Other than that, I enjoyed my experience at Reico!

heather robinson: We bought bathroom cabinets there 2 years ago and they are horrible quality. When I went back in to complain the staff would not help me. Now I have cabinets with paint chipping off, uneven doors, horrible installation, etc..I'm so unhappy I don't use out masterbath now!Never use this company if you want quality or customer service.
