I picked up a pair of cut resistant gloves over the weekend and here it is almost 6 days later and they are still in perfect shape. They're also breathable and were less than 1/3 the cost. Graingers Rocks!!
Gravity Child: They forgot to unload my $1500 order and wouldn't tell me anything about it. Had to call the 1-800 number to have them help me. That is also how I learned some parts where still here at this location. Took way to much effort for a simple heads up. Also they tried to charge me freight shipping even though I already paid a shipping fee.

He doesn’t give off sleazy salesman vibes, but rather your friendly neighborhood tradesman that understands tools & the store well!However, I would like to give the manager 1 star. Not only would he not come speak to me when I was inquiring about two floor models of three Milwaukee purchases I was making. He refused to go down in price, when these floor models were dusty and just sitting there. He missed out on a huge sale tonight.If it wasn’t for Larry- we probably would of already left.

I presented my paper receipt to return a pressure washer I bought for commercial use that was not designed for it. The cashier Hassan was rude, loud, and very nasty. He told me several times that my item was not eligible for return until I read the back of my receipt out loud. He then proceeded to yell at me in front of other customers and angrily continued to ask why I wanted to return it. He needs to be fired. I’m sure this is not the first complaint about him and his lack of customer service.

He left the door open so he could hear the phone ring. I had placed a order online for the Six Forks Napa Store for my battery needs and that attendant there told me I had to wait until Monday and I had to have it so I will not go to Walkers in Six Forks Rd. ever again. Trevor Everette: I want to be completely clear on my experience. You can read this and think this is some one off situation because a place is short staffed… Everywhere is short staffed. If you are actively sitting in front of your counter and can’t help someone with a dead battery sitting right in front of your store then you have no point being in business. I thought I found a great deal on a battery in the area, reviews for the store looked great, but when I got here I was basically told short staffed, oh well can’t help you. If you are looking at prices and think this is a place you should bring your business, I would not based on the experience I had today. To be told at an auto parts place that offers “services” that they cannot help me with a dead car battery sitting in front of their store, it is beyond me. Glad I pay for good road side assistance from AAA. Ridiculous.
cortland tree Service: I was on a return trip home from Florida to New York with my family, after a tire shop put new tires on but missed torquing my lug nuts on my left rear wheel.long story short wheel came off ruining my lug studs and many more parts I called desperately to every auto parts store I could to get parts and to no surprise they couldn’t help whilst they may of had some of the parts but I had no way to get them.Then I called walker auto and truck parts with Frankie Moore and Tim Davis who not only found what I needed they had it in stock and the amazing part they brought me the parts and stayed till I knew they were the right ones thanks guys you really are a blessing so the next hr I spent putting it back together and we were off on the highway.
Audio Head: I've been dealing with this team for years from inside sales to the machine shop. Woody at parts is great, Joey in the machine shop was awesome. Josh in the machine shop is awesome. It's nice to go back time and time again and see familiar faces still there, always feel like my parts are in good hands.Side note: Can anyone help me out with my phone calls not going through to your store number anymore?

Didn't offer $1 above core for 21 month old batteries I bought at this store. I'm not spending over $400 on batteries for no warranty. Walmart does better than this. If you want repeat customers, at least do us right by the warranty.

Patrick Martin: I just haven't had the best experience here. First I brought some engine parts to get cleaned. I'm assuming you have to specify what "clean" means to these guys because when I came to pick up my "cleaned" parts, they looked the same as before. Same oxidation in the same spots and gasket material still left on the flat surfaces.I decided to give them a second try, and dropped off a cylinder head to get "cleaned." This time I specified that I wanted the rust ALL OFF the cylinder head and I wanted the valve and valve springs taken off. They were able to take the valve springs off, but the cylinder head was still rusty. I was disappointed. Two stars for being able to do simple jobs like taking the valve springs off and the valves out. But no more than two stars because they can't get my parts nice and clean when I ask them to. If you want a good job done with the cylinder head looking decent, take your parts somewhere else.

Eddie Alonso: Let me start this off by saying that I am a huge fan of Harbor Freight. But this visit on 6/21 has left me extremely unsatisfied with the company. I purchased a few items totaling $66.96. I attempted to pay twice for the items and both were declined. Thankfully my wife was able to cover the amount for the items. After checking my account I noticed that I had two processing transactions for $66.96 and $51.35. The first was the full amount and the second was trying to process the remainder of was in my account. So not only was I charged what my wife paid, but also my declined payments. I went into the store to speak to the management and she assured me that it would drop by the morning and wouldn't do any further investigating. Fast forward to 6/22 and both payments went through and I am out the $118.31 from the 2 declined transactions not including the 66.96 my wife paid. Called Harbor Freight Customer support to see if something could be done, but got no where with them. My only hope now is that my bank can correct this situation quickly. As minimal of an amount as this may seem to some people this put me in quite the bind for the remainder of the week. Just putting this out there for everyone to be a little more cautious when paying at this location.

Tom: Just gotta know the prices for goods before you enter. Very good combination for price and quality if you know what comparables cost elsewhere. There are some exceptions but genetally speaking, very good place to look for non-big box store brands.
Joshua Taylor: I purchased a new replacement air compressor pump, the McGrath style twin cylinder and once I got home and unpackaged the pump I realized the pump was suppose to come with the side air filters for each cylinder and they were not packaged in the box with the pump, manual and gaskets. I drove back to this store and spoke with the manager Alan and he stated I needed to unbolt the entire pump and bring back for them to inspect but he could not guarantee anything. I was then informed I had to make a third trip back to this store an hour from my location for them to just look that picture and receipt was not sufficient. I do not suggest this brand pump or this store based on this type customer service and inconvenience. Oh it gets better there is a restocking fee should I want to return it all and purchase somewhere else that has all the parts that should come with the pump.
Keith Frank: Not too big on doing reviews but thought this occasion warranted it. I was trying to replace old cordless tools with new options and decided on the Hercules brand cordless tools. With a stroke of luck they had a sales event going on for those items which was great. I was looking for a cordless ratchet and they looked but had none left. They checked the other stores and the closest store that had some was the Wilson store. I drove there the next day and unfortunately they said they couldn’t find any even though their system said they had three. Quite disappointed with that, I called the local store on Capital Blvd to ask them if they can check again if any stores had any since I didn’t get much help at the Wilson store. They checked again but I also added that I was looking for multiple items to go along with the ratchet. After speaking with the manager there, Patrick assured me he’d have one from the sales floor for me and would give me a small discount. I showed up and the staff was helpful and when I spoke to Patrick, he went out of his way to help me and I got a great deal for the multiple tools I purchased. I really appreciate the staff at the Capital Blvd store in assisting me with getting the items I wanted. Really disappointed in the Wilson store for wasting my time with the drive there to be told they can’t find any when their system said they had three in stock. Sorry this is long but thanks again to the staff of Harbor Freight on Capital Blvd.

However today was an extremely disappointing experience.I needed a particular item, an Ooni pizza oven table. I went onto the Ace Hardware app and searched for stores in the area that had it available. The app said this store had it in stock. So, I drove 30 minutes each way to get to the store to buy this item. On arrival at the store, I found a staff member and asked for help finding the item in the box so that I can purchase it. They searched and came back and said that there were none available. I pointed to the floor model and asked, is this one available for sale? To which they said no, we can’t sell floor models.I’ve never met a store that doesn’t want to sell something to a customer, when it’s in the store and available, and the customers they’re wanting to pay for it. let alone a case where the stores on technology said the item was available for purchase, and a customer drove all the way there to go purchase it.I’m sure they get new inventory in all the time, and could simply set up a new floor model once a new item came in.The idea that they would not honor what’s in their App’s inventory that is made available to their customers to search and find is absolutely absurd. I was advised to call ahead in the future to make sure something is available. Well, I can understand the staff’s desire to try to help, and they were very polite, but something is very broken with either management at the store, or Ace Hardware’s corporate technology that they would allow a situation where it says something is in stock and available, it is available at the store, yet they aren’t allowed to actually sell it to a customer, money in hand ready to purchase.Unfortunately, thanks to this experience, I won’t be back to shop at this or any other Ace Hardware anytime soon.
