Triangle Cycle Tours: what do users think?
Timothy Norman: After hours of hoofing it at the NC state fair, we were ready for a rickshaw ride back to our car. A Triangle Cycle Tour rickshaw pulled up to where we were standing to drop off some passengers. The riders confirmed with the driver that the fare was $15 and paid him. We asked for a ride and were told that the fare was now $20. We agreed to pay $20 and gave directions to our car. Instead of taking us all the way to our car the driver stopped about 3 city blocks short of our destination and told us that was as far as he was going. I asked why he could not take us all the way to our car. He said that he wasn't allowed to go any further. This was completely arbitrary on his part because when we reached our car other rickshaw companies were dropping off their customers. I wish I had gotten this guy's name or bike number, so I could report him to his company's owner.
Leilani Olinger: If you aren’t familiar with the city of Raleigh, NC ~ I highly recommend the Rickshaw tour by Chris. He’s an amazing guide that is the nicest person, has a plethora of information and wonderful music playing as he takes you through the city. The hour goes by quick and best money spent for me in NC!If you call and get voicemail - don’t give up. Leave a message. He’ll call you back! He may be on a tour and is focused on his passengers.
Brandy Engle: Fun ride! Knowledgeable driver Chris took us to the best ice cream shop in downtown Raleigh!
Jake Mitchell: Chris at Triangle Cycle Tours gave me a ride to work the other day—and boy did he turn my dreaded commute around! Chris is a fun-loving guy that provides a unique and high caliber experience. I’ve lived in Raleigh my entire life, and Chris showed me some neat things around I never knew about. 5 stars across the board!
Allison Prodan: A lovely ride! He’s born and raised in Raleigh so he knows a lot about the area. So nice now that the scooters are gone!!
Tamara Lewis: Chris is awesome! Super friendly, accommodating, and theeee best! Our ride included 2 adults and 2 children but he carried our weight around without any trouble. He even took us to the Capital building and gave us some very informative information. Definitely the best!!!!
Todd Berger: The best rickshaw ride in town. A personalized tour of Raleigh or a quick ride to where you need to go. My family and I always have fun with Triangle Cycle Tours.
AMANDA MILLER: He harassed us to take a ride and then was very rude when we declined. He cursed at us and everything. I believe he was drunk as well. I do not recommend tour downtown Raleigh with this company.
Angela Brown: Very unprofessional and rude. I witnessed him snatch his card from two ladies who didn't want to ride with him. I hope the guy Chris understands he can't treat people that way. I do not reccomend at all.
J Jenk: Most unprofessional person I have ever met, he snatched his business card out of my hand because I didn't take a ride.

Carolina Touring Company: what do users think?
Richard Hull: We really enjoyed the Trikke Tour of downtown Raleigh. The Trikkes themselves are a unique and fun way to get around (especially on a hot day), and our guide Todd was knowledgeable, engaging and helpful throughout the tour. I recommend this tour for all these reasons.
Margaret Gardiner: It was amazingly simple to ride and extremely interesting.
kelley royer: The tour was so much fun and our guide was fabulous!! Highly recommend this to everyone !!!
Maricris King: Todd and Sandy were amazing! Super informative tour and we covered a lot of ground in Raleigh. Got lots of practice on Trikes before going out on the streets. Highly recommend! It was easy to get used to and lots of fun. It was a super hot day but Todd made sure we were under lots of shade for story time.
Peter Ncanywa: One of my favourite ways of learning about unfamiliar cities is by going on guided bike tours. I stumbled upon this company while searching and had absolutely no idea what a trikke was - nor how to pronounce the word. It was a most welcome surprise! Not only do Todd and Sandy run a friendly and professional experience, they are incredible knowledgeable. Todd’s descriptions and stories of the history are so vivid, you can see them happening. He knows his stuff and is a great guide. Add this to your to-do list!
Sarah Sedei: We did this for a work team building excursion. This was such a unique experience. We learned about the history of Raleigh as we trikked around downtown. They give you a water and take pictures of your group at different spots. We had a great time. Definitely recommend!
Maureen Gilchrist: Had a great time on this tour with Todd - learned a lot about the city of Raleigh AND the trikke's were so easy and fun to ride!! Highly recommend this to you and your family or friends!
Asia King: We loved this tour! We had a great time learning more about downtown Raleigh from our tour guide Todd. Our group was made up of a mix of folks who both knew the area/had lived here for years and others who are new to Raleigh. Everyone learned something from this trip and had a blast hearing the stories and laughing at the jokes. It was an amazing tour and we would definitely use Carolina Touring Company again.
Kenny Bacdayan: If you're looking for an electric bike or scooter, this is the place to visit! Great selection of products, and very knowledgeable staff to answer your basic or complex questions. I made a reservation to rent an electric bike, and it was such an easy process. I prefer electric skateboards, but if I ever wanted an electric bike I'd buy it here.
Laura Glatz: My husband and I were gifted a tour of downtown Raleigh on the Electric Trikke tour with Carolina Touring Company. The owner Todd (and our tour guide for the 2 hours) gave us training on the trikkes (it's so easy!) and was a wealth of information on the history of Raleigh. We were able to cover a lot of ground and learn about the area. Highly recommend and would take one of their others tours in the future.
Pritesh Patel: Our family of cousins wanted to reunite after experiencing 2020, and we found the Trikke tour to be that perfect event. We had a group of 10 and met up at Union Station to get rolling. The station had plenty of hourly parking so factor that in if needed. The Trikkes were all lined up, basic safety instructions from our guide Todd, a few practice rounds and we were off!The Trikkes are much easier than a Segway, though I recommend people try both at some point. They are both fun! This is my third tour of this type through Raleigh and I learn something every single time. On this occasion we took the the Raleigh Untold Tales Tour and it was fantastic. The stories you hear are extremely interesting and you get to take some nice pics with landmarks along the way.Net is, the Carolina Touring Company is awesome and provides an exceptional time for all audiences. So what are you waiting for? Get rolling!
Shelly Ryder: We did the trikke tour on a Friday morning with perfect weather. The trikke's were easy to learn and are a lot safer and natural feeling than a segue. We did the Historic Oakwood tour, which included parts of downtown Raleigh as well, including a spin through the Capitol and a photo opp. A good part of the tour was on dedicated bike lanes which made me feel safer among traffic. Oakwood Cemetery is beautiful! I could see coming back here to spend more time enjoying the grounds. Todd is an excellent tour guide and clearly loves his work. Although I've lived in the area since 2006, I learned a TON of new things. Didn't know we had a replicate of the Liberty Bell for example. I plan to do another tour in the future -- it was a fantastic experience!Services:City tours,Private tours
Tim Hackett: We had a lot of fun! Todd, our guide, was terrific. Very knowledgeable and funny, he had lots of interesting stories
Ryan Whitt: Great experience! I am a Raleigh native and took my in-laws on this tour to show them around. The trikkes are a hit! Super fun to ride and easy to get the hang out. Todd, our guide, was great and had a lot of good insight that was very interesting. Highly recommended!
Amanda Bernardina: Loved our scooter tour of Oakwood today. Our guide Todd was extremely knowledgeable and the scooters were a ton of fun to ride. I've lived in Raleigh for 27 years and learned a lot about its past and present while on the tour, so this tour is great for locals and visitors alike.
April: Fun ride!
Patricia Pepper: We had a fabulous time this past weekend with Mimi in Raleigh learning about our home city!!!! Ryan was also a terrific host. Strongly recommend for friends, family, locals or tourists. Thank you Mimi and Ryan.
Dave Allison: Yes, better than Segways! These machines are delightful to drive. Expert training in 5 minutes. The tour was Historic Oakwood and very very insightful. Headphones so ya can hear the guide, but still hear traffic and talk to someone. Highly recommend this experience!
Angela Langston: So much fun! Our tour guide was great! What a wonderful way to get to know Raleigh 👏🏼
Sirisha P: Very well organised . Our guide was fantastic. He was very patient go ensure all the people are comfortable with riding.Over all it was fun! I would recommend people to take this ride.

Trek Bicycle Raleigh Holly Park: what do users think?
Holly Sullenger: This store has super helpful staff and great products. If you enjoy biking, this is the store for you!
Shaun Martin: Great products, knowledgeable staff both on purchase and servicing optionsHighly recommended
Greg Morgan: Greg MorganProduct: My Trek mountain bike was my first performance end bike purchase, having settled for lower end bikes previously. After one year of riding on various trails and terrain, I am still amazed by the bike's performance and ease of use. I don't believe that I could have tackled some of the trails that I have with any of my previous bikes.Services: The staff at my local Trek store have been both attentive and informative across multiple visits. From my initial visit being able to test ride multiple models to tailoring my pick to fit my size and style, I have been grateful for the experience.
Corey Gomes: Shoutout to Matt and the team - they were great to work with.
Jay Chambers: Needed help with new cycle shoes and SPD cleat installment. Matt and his associate were extremely helpful and kind. Took their time with me... a first time customer. Did not charge me for their expertise. Will definitely return!
Tom O'Brien: I purchased two E-Bikes (Versa 3) a year ago and the Bikes are truly amazing. What really sets the Trek Bicycle Raleigh Holly Park store apart is the outstanding customer service and feeling of genuine helpfulness that you feel and receive from the first moment you walk in the shop. So here I am a year later and the excellent customer service and helpfulness is still alive and well. I received a recall notice from Trek corporate that various bike models may have an issue with the brakes and it should be addressed asap. I contacted the Holly Park store and was connected to the service manager, Joel. He was outstanding and very accommodating in so much that he arranged for my two bikes to picked up from home, confirmed my brakes were not impacted from the recall, he had a Level 1 service performed on the bikes and the bikes were delivered back into my home garage by 5pm the same day! I also want to give a shout out to Donovan the service tech who picked/delivered the bikes, he as very knowledgeable as well as quite personable. Selling/buying a bike is one thing, but it’s the after market support and outstanding customer support that really makes this Holly Park store and it’s staff stand out!. If you’re looking for any kind of bike upgrade/service/purchase do check these guys out and see what real friendly customer service is all about! 👍
Cameron: Let’s not forget that this place turned into a communist concentration camp during Covid! Appointments only, only allowed one group into the building at a time, treated all customers very poorly, asked you why you were here and wasn’t wanting to help customers. I went to REI and bought my bikes because they still treated customers decently.
Jon Velez: Great customer service from the reps here. They answered all our questions and got my wife setup with bike that she loves.
Jessica Rose: Great service technicians - I've been using these same guys for years and they always do a great job on my bikes :)
Jeremy Ellender: Knowledgeable and helpful staff. With every purchase, a sales associate will explain the product, installation, and address any questions. Great customer service!
ken nowell: Matt was very helpful in making my tire and shoe selections. He obviously is much more than a store employee but and avid rider than can speak knowledgeably about products sold in the store. 100% will return!
Ian Yeager: Awesome store, great people, super helpful, unrushed experience and made sure I was getting what I needed.
Brian: Always friendly and knowledgeable service in repair shop here, rare nowadays and much appreciated
Paul Crockett: Great selection and great staff. The employees have been helpful every time I've been here, and even though I had an issue once with being given an incorrect part, the manager went above and beyond to make things right.
Ramon Levine: Friendly and knowledgeable staff. They run some group rides from there. Just bought a bike for my wife from the store. She loves it.
Teresa Gore: Your people/staff are your best offerings. No matter which location I use, they seem to sincerely desire to help. They're engaging, attentive, and are just nice, friendly and easy to talk with people. Good job, TREK Bicycle, at having great teams all over the Triangle area. Special shout out to Lea, Veronica, Joel and Matt for going over and beyond to help our TIFL athletes prepare for their very first triathlon. ~Teresa C.
Patrick Marrow: Trek holly park treats me like a KING. Great people to deal with about bicycle issues.
Anthony Patrick Sibayan: Staff are very accommodating and easy to transact with..Bicycles and related products are of very good quality and reasonably priced..
Ed Karjala: I am new to the area and I walked in for the first time in and was greeted by friendly and helpful people. The shelves were stocked up nicely with what I needed and the service was top notch. Can't wait to visit again soon!
C L: Super friendly and helpful. Excellent service department
SD D: Excellent products and customer service. Chris in sales went the extra mile to find (in Wisconsin!) the shoes I wanted and had them delivered to the store. More specifically, these were a CLEARANCE item, and he provided a level of service I would expect for a high-priced bike. Fine job. Great people, great store.

Taylor Mitchell: Donna was absolutely amazing for our Bachelorette party! I highly recommend it!!
Brittany Bell: Laura was amazing and gave us a great tour!!
Alexis Morrison: Trolly Pub is SO unorganized! I called yesterday afternoon and was told there weren’t anymore openings for private groups on Saturday 5/13 even though their website shows openings for 5/13 and allows you to book. This morning I receive an email stating to resume my private booking for Saturday 5/13 and even provided a coupon code with a link to take me to book. I called this morning to make sure private was available before I booked online and was told it’s available and just needs to get approved by a manager. Then I call again and was told it’s no longer a private tour as it’ll be a mixed tour with 8 members of my group and 2 random people, so I advised them I’d have to call them back after I make sure that’s okay with everyone else. I call back not even 5 minutes later and all of a sudden the person I spoke to states it’s all booked up apparently. Yet, online still shows 6 pm is available. I simply cannot get a straight answer.
Wrenn Dawson: It’s a good time but they changed it so you can’t bring your own drinks. Didn’t know that until after we signed up and paid. They said it’s because some seltzers have liquor in them but I would think they could just check the cooler for those types before the trolley left.
Norma Baskerville: Laura was a fantastic host!!!
Teisha Tucker: Laura was absolutely amazing!! She was kind, considerate, and fun!!! I would highly recommend her.
Anna Crowder: Laura was so helpful and fantastic!

Cardinal Bikeshare: what do users think?
Donald Fishburne: Downer. I went to Cardinal Bikeshare at NC Museum of Art on this beautiful day. 2 charged bikes were available. I tried to register on the touchscreen, but it was dead. Unloaded the app and did everything one has to do. "Registration failed; try later." Tried again. Called support / customer service. They could not help. After I asked twice the rep said he would report the touchscreen out of order. I drove home, and from MacBook opened an account after 2 tries. Bought one pass as a safe sample, rather than an annual fee. Asked to see User Passes. Blank Screen. I'm out of time today to drive back and see if I can unlock a bike. I never post reviews unless I can give a 5 or have to give a 1. I almost never have to give a 1. Bummer.
Falan E: Love that this bike service exists. It took some time to notice these at the Museum park I have visited often. It's fairly inexpensive, and you usually get what you pay when purchasing rides. I checked out one where the electric assist did not work and put it back. The app will take some time to get used to until you've gone through your first use. It was nice to be with someone who had used and understood the service. I didn't struggle with the technology or retrieving the bike for rides.I was underwhelmed with the bikes. The handlebars appeared filthy and sticky, which was hard to notice until after I started riding. My hands were dirty until I could get near water and soap. Bike shares are known to be much safer, but I didn't feel safe. I could not control the electric assist speeds, and the seat started twisting after riding for a while. Seat twisting was dangerous for me. I'm still alive and well, but this wasn't the most enjoyable experience with rental bikes. The bike I rode seemed poorly kept up. Overall, the bikes allowed me to enjoy nature and socialization (without walking) with my friend, who I joined for the bike ride.
George Ford: I rented 3 bikes for 1.5 hours was charged for 5 hours called and recouped 2 hours worth of the extra 5 hours of charges and it felt like it was incumbent upon me to fix their error.
Ann D Grace: 2 days ago I rode a bike at Bond Park in Cary NC. I Enjoy the ride; but .....be careful with passing the time. It is scary to use them because, according to what I read, they would charge you up to 2000 dlls if the bike is lost. It should be more accessible. I paid the trip of 2.50 plus tax... for spending a minute it was 4 dll and they charged me a deposit of 25 dll. 2 days have passed and the weekend and the 4th of July have passed... until when will that money return? It's a lot of protocol to use a bike....
Jacob Garcowski: Tried to rent a bike at the Art Museum location. There were tons of bikes but only after I bought a card did I learn that every single one was low battery or out of service.Edit: moving this up to 2 stars because they were able to refund with a single phone call to the number on the card. Call took less than 2 minutes, so I definitely appreciate their customer service reps.
Chris O'Dell: We were in town for an ultimate frisbee game and decided to check out the food hall. Parking was terrible but we found a spot near the bike stands and were able to ride up the giant hill to get food. The motor made life so much easier! Look for the electric ones for sure. The big kiosk spit out cute little cards that we touched on the bike to unlock it.
Tania Lacelle: An excellent alternative to our car that allows us to move freely and cheaply in this beautiful city. I love it!
Erick Joseph: Love the Cardinal Bike share system. it very convenient to get on a bike and ride around the town, especially with this gas prices 😅.I have used other ride share systems before and this one is by far the best.
Elizabeth Crews: Tried using the kiosk. It didn’t recognize payment. Tried downloading the app, and it wouldn’t move past “continue. “ I really really wanted to use the bikes today. But I could not figure out a way after 30 minutes of trying to do it. This was the location in front of the North Carolina Museum of Art. A worse service and a more frustrating experience, I cannot imagine.
Allie Elizabeth: Not pleased at all with these bikes! I got 2 bike passes for 45 mins and my card was charged $225! Be careful when getting one of these bikes because I was ripped off.
Cool: Great bike share system in a fabulous city!
Troop 3288: Thanks for all of your help with our program! The bikes are amazing!
Shannon Bliven: Great Bike Share in an awesome city!!! Love it!
Jonathon Powell: Love using the electric bikes to get around town!
Jack Steketee: The bikes are super heavy but they have an electric assist to compensate. The electric assist barely worked on the two bikes that I borrowed.
G RANJE: I love Citrix bikes and would wanna bring them to my town
Mary-Jo Gellenbeck: I love the ease of riding the Dutch Style bike because I sit more upright using it. But the best part is the ease the electric assist pedal power designed in the bike. It levels the hills so riding in Raleigh is relaxing & FUN. Every time I hop on one, Im reminded of my days of youth riding a bike to get to places I want to go!I’ve heard arguments against the docking station and my rebuttal every time is the docking stations are Place Makers. Because of their locations, I go to places I might not have consider before. Serendipity lives in Walkable Cities and I love spontaneous encounters that bring surprises. It stimulates my creative juices and pumps endorphins into my system. It’s for this reason why I’ll always choose an e-bike from a docking station. Be sure to look for the electric bolt symbol on the fender. The bikes are heavy without the assist, and then again, you’ll get a good workout without it. Your choice :)
Chris Zborowski: Got the day pass expecting to be able to use it all day, but really it should be called a 45 minute pass, because after 45 minutes you get charged extra. Very misleading, and I’m very disappointed. All the electric bikes were in need of service or out of charge at the art museum location. Online it showed that there were 5. Maybe there were 5, but 0 you could unlock and use.
Dan The Man: Loving the electric bikes!!

Going my way Greenway bike rentals LLC: what do users think?
Libby Fowler: Lori is great! She provides a lot of flexibility with bike drop off and pickup and is very communicative. She even recommended a beautiful ride through Cary that perfectly suited our wants! 11/10 recommend!!!
hannah glen: Lori is awesome! Great communication, easily accessible, super flexible, and infectious enthusiasm. Bike and complimentary helmet were in great condition - she even packed a water bottle!
marie murdick: Lori was awesome to work with. Bikes were great. What an enjoyable ride. Thank you Lori for everything.
J. Dylan White: Lori and this business are fantastic! I asked about renting a bike the following morning and it all worked out perfectly. I had a blast, and the whole experience was very pleasant! Thanks so much for an awesome day!
Graciela Villalpando: Had a very lovely experience! The bikes were perfect and already adjusted for our heights. The owner brought us waters and helmets. She had great suggestions for trails in the area. Would highly recommend!
Chase Cares: I love that this is a local business to rent bikes. I am looking to figure out what kind of bike works best for me and my wife - not only did Go My Way have the bikes we were considering buying, but Lori is super nice and provided a wealth of knowledge answering all our questions. She matched us with bikes and was easy to find for pick up and delivery of the bikes. She took the time to make sure we were comfortable with the bikes before we got started - for example, my wife isn't very familiar with bikes, particularly shifting gears, and Lori made her feel comfortable. The rental pricing was great. I appreciated that the bike rentals came with helmets, bike locks, and water. We will absolutely rent bikes again, including if family or friends are in town and looking for an outdoor activity.
Falan E: Last summer, 2022, I rented three bikes for myself, my sister, and a friend to explore Fred G. Bond, Metro Park. Lori was so helpful. She even brought us one electric bike, which I loved. Lori was there when we pulled up and when we returned. The transaction from beginning to end was easy and required no extra energy to retrieve the bikes for our Sunday bike ride. I do recommend Going My Way bike mobile rental for quality bikes and services.
Andrea Davis: Bikes and service was amazing! Thank you!
Vikas O'Reilly-Shah: Great experience! Dropped the bike and picked it up from my hotel. Couldn't meet her due to work but she installed my personal pedals. Provided flat pack, lights, and offered a helmet (brought my own). Highly recommended for a great bike and 5 star service!
Pat Hester: Hands down, this is the BEST bike rental place in all of Raleigh. The owner Lori did a phenomenal job with planning everything. She delivered the bikes directly to our hotel, provided great advice about trails, gave directions to trailheads, answered my texts promptly, and gave all support materials like maps, water bottles, flat kit, and bike pump.Lori clearly knows her stuff and the customer service she provided was outstanding. She went above and beyond. Renting a bike could not have been any easier.Keep up the great work, Lori! We will be renting from you again on our next trip to Raleigh!
Dhon Johnson: We wanted to surprise my Father-in-Law with a bike to ride for the weekend as he has been going back and forth on getting back into the sport. I happened to call a few bike shops in the area and I had no luck. I happened to find Lori and her bike rental company and that was that. Lori was extremely pleasant and kind. She asked about riding experience to judge which bike to set him up with.Lori was able to work around my arrival time at the house as it was a surprise and we wanted to pay for everything and be there when she dropped the bike off. It was quick and easy, and the rate was very reasonable.Needless to day, F-I-L has not been on a bike in 10 years, but he enjoyed it and is planning on renting from Lori again in the future.Thank you Lori for being awesome and willing to work with us and our schedule.
Linda Robertson: Doing a Greenway Bike Tour with Lori was the highlight of our trip to North Carolina! If you are a group or family looking for something fun to do together, while getting to know more about the Cary / Raleigh area, we can't recommend Going My Way Bike Tours and Rentals enough! We spent two days with Lori, and even in the sweltering heat we stayed plenty cool because of the wind from cycling and the shade of the Greenway trails! The first day we were on eBikes, so my husband, who is recovering from injuries, could use the pedal assist, while I was able to get the work out that I really wanted! Lori's tours are perfect for a group with mixed levels of fitness; you will all be able to stay together and see the absolutely unmatched beauty of the NC greenways! We've done bike tours and rented bikes in many parts of the country, and Lori outdid them all...her tours & rentals are affordable, she is patient, kind, inclusive, encouraging, informative...I just can't say enough. We went out on our own after the tour, and because of construction in town, we got a bit lost - lol! But Lori made herself totally available to us, talking us through the way back to our route over the phone while we cycled. And when my husband needed a break, she even drove to pick him up! Lori is like your own personal activity coach, doing everything she can to ensure that your experience is the very best it can be.We live in the Seattle area, but want to go back to North Carolina next year just to spend a week renting bikes from Lori!Is it possible to give 10 of our 5 stars? If it was, I would!
Jason Comparetto: Lori was great to work with today. We needed a bike at the last minute and she came out to the location and delivered it. The bikes were well-maintained and the quality was better than I expected. She is friendly and passionate about bicycles. She also helped pick out the right trail for us.
lloshio lopez: Best rental service experience I have ever had! Prices are reasonable and the bikes are of good quality. My family and I planned a spontaneous bike ride and contacted Lori. Not only was she able to accommodate our last minute request, but she made available the right bikes for us! Not only that, but we were treated like friends rather than customers. Lori even went above and beyond by rushing back to help us as soon as she noticed a rainstorm that unfortunately cut our rental short.
Eamon McGowan: The bike was in incredible condition - almost new. Lori also had a helmet and tools to adjust the seats. She was on time to pick up and drop off. She was very pleasant and quick to reply over text. I highly recommend using her services and will her services again in the future.
Jayanthie Kumar: I had an awesome ride with Lori on one of her Awesome bikes. Lori made it easy to schedule the ride, had wonderful suggestions on places to ride. She showed up right on time and had the bikes ready to go. She even had helmets and water bottle. She gave me a quick walk through of the bike's features and safety measures that was super helpful. She also knew the roads really well. Overall very pleased with the experience
Alex Bailey: We had an amazing time with Lori and her awesome E-Bikes! She had them set up and ready to go when we arrived, and included bottles of water. She provided a quick tutorial now how to use the bike and best practices. Once we were all set, she guided us around Cary using the Greenway! Such a fun and beautiful time! Usually I can't go more than 5 miles on my regular bikes without gasping for air and sore legs, but we were able to go over 14 miles and felt like we could do more! Check it out! It's super fun and a great way to explore the area!
Rebecca Poirier: We had an amazing time with these electric bikes! They made riding the Greenway so easy and fun and Lori is so awesome! We definitely recommend renting these for a great day out
Juan Alba: As smooth and easy as possible. Within minutes of booking, Lori contacted me to work out the details of when and where to drop off the bikes that would be most convenient for me. She had everything you could need for your ride and ensured the bikes fit us all comfortably before we were on our way. Lori knows the trails well and gave us advice on which direction to head. Thanks, Lori. My friends that I'm visiting said that they had a blast and plan to book more rides with you.
Christina Zigliotto: Fantastic experience with Lori! I had a few hours before heading to the airport after a business trip, and Lori met me with a bike that fit me perfectly, she even provided a helmet and water for me (so thoughtful!). She rode with me along some of the most beautiful paths I have ever seen in my life. She’s a super special person, and your ride feels like you’re with a friend or family member. Thank you Lori. To anyone considering, BOOK YOUR RIDE.
Richard Cooper: I wanted to rent a bike for an extended time period and Lori was able to accomodate me. She was flexible, customer focused, made sure everything was just right, and far exceeded my expectations. Really outstanding service!

Trek Bicycle North Raleigh: what do users think?
Commodity Management: These guys are super nice and they’re open on Sundays!
Justin Long: I bought an Ebike online late last year. But most of the bike shops in the area refuse to assist with any type of repairs. I was having to drive 30+ mins out of town to another shop. I asked around to be referred to a local bike mechanic in Raleigh that could fix my brakes. I was introduced to Nate in the service center. Nate looked at my bike on the spot with me and diagnosed the issue while I was standing there. It’s clear that Nate is a professional mechanic, and it shows with his demeanor and ability to communicate the process and specifications to you. Nate got my bike fixed in 2 days. Super nice folks at the store, I’ll be coming in this store from now on. Highly recommend!
Arvie Lacson: Friendly staff.
Miranda Marino: Wonderful customer service! Highly recommend! Love my new Trek!
Norma Sellers: Awesome Staff. I'm new to biking and they made me feel comfortable and not stupid asking my questions. They assembled my bike and it looks and rides great.
James Mackintosh: I like being able to come in and just get basic repairs done without an appointment or having to drop off. Yall have done a few tires for me, Installed pedals, adjusted handlebars, and helped keep my old bike running good. As an (automotive) mechanic I appreciate being able to bring my bike somewhere and have stuff taken care of. Friendly staff, clean store just very helpful and convenient.
Jennifer Bramlett: Best store ever!! My sales person Ken was excellent and extremely friendly. From start to finish 100% perfection. I highly recommend going to this store what an experience 👍😃
Von Brown: Friendly attitudes and customer service and knowledgeable about products!
David Olson: Always excellent service and friendly staff! Highly recommend :)
Michael Schwarz: I’ve been a dedicated Trek customer since their beginning (I have a collection of vintage Trek road racing bicycles I regularly ride). I recently built a gravel bike and the Trek store had all the parts I needed in stock. It’s always a pleasure going to a store where the employees are as fanatical about bicycling as I am!
Michael McFadden: Nate and the service team are great! Always do a great job and are very knowledgable about bikes!
Janis Braslins: Excellent sales and service team. Our family owns not only Trek bikes, but also other brands. Bring all of them there for service.
Eric Libow: Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
Leah Sansone: Trek North Raleigh has friendly, knowledgeable staff. They have tried their products first hand. I always trust their advice. Their service department is the BEST!❤️
John Kagan: Excellent bikes and service at Trek North Raleigh.
Jim Harry: Call anyone, anytime. I dare you to find anyone in this store who will not treat you like you have million bucks to spend. Their only goal is to “listen” to your story and help you figure out how best to accomplish it for you and alongside of you. Truly my new favorite bike home!
Steve Cedoz: My Verve 3 is a great touring bike for around town and greenway trails. The Team at Trek-North Raleigh was friendly, very helpful, and informative. Thank you for a great experience and a great bike!
Edward Macey: Great products and expert service!
lamont cooper: Great quality, staff and prices…!
Peggy Joyner: Everyone was so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable!
Hunter Morgan: Professional and reliable. Very welcoming and quick to share knowledge and tips. From the novice to the experienced rider, this store can provide everything needed to get and stay out riding.I’ll be going to this location from now on. Really top notch experience. Down to earth folks.

Oak City Cycling: what do users think?
Jacopo Montobbio: Probably the best shop in the triangle. Went in for service on 2 bikes, from out of town, and they fixed both bikes in less than 2 hours. They have great inventory and the staff is crazy friendly and professional. Good stuff and good vibes in there! Cheers OCC
Barry Wood: Found a great bike at a great price!
Kevin Webb: Super helpful and well stocked, I feel so lucky to have them as my neighborhood bike shop!
Antonio Febres: Chris was extremely helpful. Great service experience
Albert Kugel: Love this place. I don’t even live in Raleigh but always take my bike here. Very trustworthy and they have the best selection of bikes, bags, and parts. They also have beer on tap! I only wish they were able to be open in the mornings and on Sundays. Hard to get there with their current operating hours.
Hailey C.: If you’re a new to town cyclist, you need to come here. The staff members are so friendly and knowledgeable. I have always been happy with the service for my bike - the team is fast and thorough! The shop hosts fun group rides for different speeds/vibes, and I always feel comfortable with the group. The team will be happy to share information about good routes in the area or talk about your needs for your bike.
Jackie A: Fast and friendly service! Convenient location helps, too. Tim is awesome!
Ramon Levine: We went on a group ride from the shop. They have different activities that are held from there. If you're into cycling it definitely is a place worth checking out.
Nathan Mlot: I've had some awful experiences at a number of bike shops in the area due to snobby snooty bike people who think they are better than you just because they know more about bikes and ride more than you. This is NOT the case at Oak City Cycling though! The employees are all well informed and obviously passionate about cycling, but they are kind and patient no matter the kind of question. They obviously understand what customer service is all about, and even though everyone has bad days, I've never caught them on one of theirs! This is always my first stop if I'm going to shop locally. I appreciate their commitment to the community and the events they put on. They are full of knowledge about bikes and the best spots in the area, so be sure to pick their brain if they aren't busy. Thank you for not being snobby snooty bike people!
Matthew Smith: Probably the best bike shop in this plane of existence. Service is excellent and priced far below expectations. Good selection of gear and bikes, but mainly, these are people who just want you to ride bikes. They don't care if you want to ride occasionally on a weekend around your neighborhood or start training for the Tour de France, they just want to help you enjoy riding. What more can you ask for? Need a quick adjustment and don't have a tool for it? Drop in...they'll let you borrow a stand and a tool and fix it up and be on your way. Need bigger service but can't afford to give the bike up for more than a day because it's your daily commuter? No problem: they'll work with you and make sure you get what you need when and how you need it. This is the only place I go anymore, and I can't believe I wasted two years dealing with other shops before trying Oak City.
Carm Mc (Cam): So, I signed up for a basic Maintenance class with John and Eamon. Let me just say they are my new bike buddies. Super knowledgeable and friendly. They did a great job of teaching us to take care of our chains and how to fix a flat. Super patient with me as I struggled to get my wheel back on and found a problem with my brake that was causing the problem. Quick to help me fix and also noticed my seat needed to be adjusted. They Rock. Oh, did I mention the class was free? Did I mention they were really patient? They let us ask as many questions as we needed.
Antonio Super: Great place for repairs. Friendly service, Went in with a flat, fixed on the spot and out in minutes.
Josip Vukina: Awesome local bike shop. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommend
jason jones: I absolutely love itWarranty repair scheduled
Robin Mehera: Oak city cycling is a nice bike shop on person street. They have all types of bike parts and accessories. They also offer some free bike maintenance classes which is awesome. They had some beer on tap which is a cool touch for a bike shop.If you need bike parts or repair work done, go here.
Ryan Short: Great shop. Helpful people. Good stock.
Mark Vincent: Awesome spot for your cycling needs; they have a great selection bikes, clothing parts and accessories plus an incredible team to help guide you to the process. Straight forward pricing on labor and parts, with a stress free quote with quick turnaround. Give them a shout or stop by.
Eric Terlizzi: I had the best experience this week at OCC! I just needed a front derailleur adjustment and thought I'd put them on my route on my way home (via bike). A very nice gentleman named Aimen (sp?) came out from behind the counter and said he could give it a quick look. After about 5 min, he had that thing dialed!! It has never shifted better up front. I enjoyed a cold ginger ale and then I was on my way. I couldn't be happier and I will most definitely be back, especially since I can incorporate it into my ride home! Nice work, OCC!
Yama Ahmadi: Not consistent, denied service and didn’t want to fix a bike
Frank Snyder: The best shop in and out of Raleigh. Whether your interest is road, gravel, Greenway or MTB, these guys have you covered. Smooth and efficient and always willing to give advice on the simple and the complete solutions. Great shop run by great people!
Christopher Ryan: I needed a new driver installed in my mtb wheel that required a special tool. The shop did not have the tool on hand, but they ordered it just for my job. They really seem concerned about helping out their customers and providing great service. Bonus points for super friendly staff and great prices. If you need a DT Swiss "ratchet upgrade" installed, Oak City has you covered.

TLC For Bikes: what do users think?
Gragory Gomes: Knowledgeable, the go-to bike guy if you’re in wake county or surrounding counties
Bob Willix: There aren't very many cycling mechanics with the knowledge that Gary has. He's been in the industry a long time and is a wonderful resource for anyone from the experienced racer to the beginning enthusiast! 5 stars for sure.
Claudia Quilantan: Super nice & friendly Place
Ryan S: Brought my Cannondale into TLC because the front and rear brakes were squeaking quite a bit. Gary and team changed the front and rear pads as well as the rear rotor, assuring that should do the trick. When I picked up the bike in the shop, Gary tested out the brakes and we both heard the front still squeaking. I took it home to ride around a bit and test the brakes to find the front and rear were still squeaking, so I brought it back in to the shop to clean the pads and possibly replace the front rotor. After picking up the bike a second time they apologized they weren't able to get it right the first time and that hopefully it was fixed now. Fast forward --- I'm still waking up the whole neighborhood with my squeaky brakes as I ride.Would love to give 5 stars as the price seemed fairly reasonable (although labor was weirdly scratched out and increased for some reason) and they seemed to be interested in solving the problem; however, I can't keep bringing the bike back here only for it to not be fixed.
Anthony Glad: My wife and I recently moved into the area and have been visiting local bike shops to buy new bikes. Gary didn't have any in the price range we we're looking, but took the time to give advice on where to look and what we should be looking for. It was a great experience.
stephan smith: Owner is rude and unwelcoming…he obviously didn’t want to serve me because I am black. He wanted to let me know as soon as I walked in that he “wasn’t pushing a agenda”. Seriously? I was just looking for advice on bike parts. Get a life…everything isn’t about politics.
Steven Horvitz: I just finished working with Gary on the 3rd bike between my Wife and I. Once again Gary did an incredible job and my new bike is silky smooth. He spent the time with me to weigh all the options and despite all the supply issues built the bike in a few days and as always to perfection. I highly recommend TLC for Bikes!
June A: Rude. Guy was obviously bothered by my questions and not willing to help.will not be back.
Lior Molvin: I love this place. Great mechanics, great bike knowledge. Gary fixed my mountain bike and my road bike. He knows so much, and he's generally excited about getting me setup and on the road putting in miles. Inspirational place. Thanks TLC!
Leslie Newcomb: Great Service, very knowledgeable and super friendly!
Mike B: Great knowledge and service. Very customer service oriented
antonio ramon guillen vasquez: Excelente atencion
Haley Kuhns: The owner of this shop truly has a passion for what he does. I was lured in by the free workshops they offer every first Wednesday of the month. The workshop was incredibly helpful, we went over changing a flat tire, certain aspects about our bikes, etc. The owner began telling us a story about someone who brought a bike in a told him to just “keep it,” because the tune up cost more than the bike itself. I should’ve registered this as a red flag. If you’re willing to spend $110 on a basic tune up that most shops will charge $35 (shoutout Cycle Logic) then this is your place! As a student who has to worry about student loans, MCAT fees, medical school application fees I nearly had a panic attack when I picked up my road bike (which I got for a steal during quarantine for $300), and the tune up (basic lube of cables, check tires, adjust saddle) was $110. That’s over 1/3 of the cost of the actual bike. I felt extremely taken advantage of. I think the owner is a kind person but I don’t appreciate that kind of service. I wish them the best of luck, but will never be returning for any of their services. Be aware, and absolutely ask about cost of services up front. Lesson learned!
Diriki Lemay: Awesome service, I came here for some questions on a bike that I had just inherited and the service and advice was top notch highly recommend coming here and doing business.
Al Schoneman: As you may know, there’s a national bike shortage. I went to TLC for bikes and they sent me to BikesDirect if I didn’t want to wait several months. Bike is on order. They will set it up and accessorize it for me. Can’t wait. Kudos to Cameron!
Michael Reid: I went here about a year ago. They ended up doing several things to my bike— Replaced gear shifter and rewrapped my handlebars. Everyone was incredibly polite, but no one gave me a straight answer on the price until it was time to pay. Not even so much as an estimate. Even when I asked twice I got the same tired joke of “$1 million”. It was funny the first time, but when you’re trying to make sure you stay within budget a straight answer on pricing (or even a loose estimate) isn’t something to joke about. The quality of the work was okay for the most part, except my handlebar wrapping were already loose and sliding off within the first 3 months of having my bike back.
petr zavodnik: very good service👍🏻
Richard Lourie: Want to thank Gary for fixing my Dahon Boardwalk correctly, this is a great shop for all levels of riding. He has vintage bikes as well as the latest carbon fiber light weight exotic racing bikes. For beginners or the serious hammerhead, TLC has the skills to keep you rolling. Thanks Gary!
Sam Manooch: Gary is by far the most honest, experienced, and knowledgeable bike mechanic in Raleigh. He runs a great shop and really takes the time to listen to and assist his customers with their needs. He works with anyone regardless of budget. I won’t go anywhere else in Raleigh for advice, service, or repair. What an awesome bike shop!
Dixon Girl: Did not fix brakes. I did not ride this bicycle right away after picking it up but when did I was going on a slight down in the road and could not stop i had to squeeze the brake with a my might and it kept going so fast I thought I was going to be injured or worse cause it was a metal mailbox cluster ahead my daughter was very shaken. Cause she couldn't help me.. So this is why I gave this place 1 star. At first I gave this place 5 stars because the owner was nice and I didn't ride the bicycle right away. I wasn't going to post about this but it came up on my time line with 5 stars. I thought oh no I have to speak out about this. Really the bicycle brakes was better before I took it there. I have other bicycle needing work but not @this place of business.I have decided I'm learning to work on my own bicycle I'm so feed up with the BS and being taken advantage of.
Mark Sammartino: Gary was really knowledgeable and went above and beyond sizing a road bike for me. I told him I’m leaving Monday to head back to Florida but my sister was going to be seeing me for Christmas so their was no rushGary had my bike ready in 24 hours and I’m taking it home tomorrow. I have never bought a bike from a person who was so knowledgeable and passionate about their profession.I highly recommend TLC for Bikes for anyone.
