Textbook Brokers North Raleigh: what do users think?
Helen Aregawi: I had rented book from this location and when I come by to return the store is closed and I called the number but no one picked.
Joey Tunney: They might as well change the name of this place to “no value on it” because that’s all they ever tell you. Do not waste your time here, it’s the GameStop of Wake Tech Books.
Ashley Holmes: This store is clean and organized, the gentlemen who assisted me was pleasant and knowledgeable about the books I would need for this coming semester. They had pretty decent prices, I got one loose leaf textbook for significantly less than at the bookstore or online.
Kassandra Bosley: Great customer service
Ashley Snave: Always get my textbooks here
Ben Evans: Very easy to use, great staff, and best prices I found anywhere
Bethany: Prices are always better than on campus. Always in and out in less than 10 minutes. Items out of stock can usually be ordered in a few days. No school supplies other than books and online codes needed for classes. They give you free Scantron‘s and allow you to pick a binder on a shelf they keep of old binders, some in brand new condition!
Shana Faucette: Discounted bookstore...saved me hundreds LITERALLY!!! Not to mention they accept financial aid!! Great customer service time and time again 👍
Rachel Crawford: I always get cheaper prices than WTCC Bookstore and courteous service!
harman gill: Affordable
Flaka: Cheaper books with great customer service
dillon greeves: Great staff, very helpful and have answers to all of your questions. You can rent your textbooks here which is very nice to save money.
Tricey Boo: Price match available. They took their time in giving me all the prices I needed to know. After I purchase my books they gave me a few scantron for my class.
Angela K.: Nice place
Samantha Kennedy: They were able to get my text books that I needed quickly with no hassle or headache whatsoever, they price match and offer rental text books, they have computers to log in to your personal school account and print a schedule off for them right in the store, they have the necessary forms right there ready for you so that you can use your financial aid to rent and or purchase your books, they always have very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful associates at every location I've ever visited, so over all there are no complaints with this or any Textbook Brokers location!!! I highly reccomend them to any student!!
D M: Very nice staff. Cheapest book rental locally, but still costly.
Donnie Brown: Great staff and quick in and out.
Sam Xú: Cheap book to rent
Sydney Gavan: Great prices and great service
Tarasa Jackson: I love getting my books for my classes from Textbook Brokers. The staff is always friendly!
Daniel Rogers: Friendly staff, good prices, and great selection. Always get my books here and would rather over the Wake Tech Bookstore any day.

Forrest Mason: Classic local book store, super friendly staff, a nice big space chock full of every book you can imagine and the author events are really fantastic, basically everything you’re looking for in a book store. Shop local folks!
Sunny Gu: Such a sweet & cozy bookstore. We always heard about it from our friends, finally we come to visit. So much love put in this bookstore, very well organized and set up. I really love the tree 🌳 in the kids area, brings a hint of fairytale magic to this place.
The Lady Starr G.: This place is a book lovers dream spot. I have visited twice for author-illustrator events and I enjoyed both of them. If I got there early and hung out in the bathroom a little long it's because I am amused by the pics of all the people!🤩
Ryan Smith: Didn't have what I was looking for, but I'm sure it's a nice place if fiction is your interest.
Meg F: Best bookstore ever! The selection, the ambience, the staff everything is a 10 across-the-board
Tony Mwalali: Awesome selection and friendly staff¥
William Gardiner: This is an amazing bookstore. The staff is polite and amazing as well. You don't need any other book store.

Hannah Jordan: One of my favorite bookstores! Great staff recommendations (written and in person), great variety of books, fun vibe. We were recently there in late April as they were celebrating something-can't remember what- and there were sales and delicious goodies! Staff is very friendly and they'll wrap your book, too! Public restrooms are clean -always a plus!!
Alex Barker: Loved my first visit. The staff was friendly and the selection was great! Will definitely go again.
Brandie Hopper: Lovely, lovely store. Took my daughter and grand kids here and stayed for over an hour. Such a delightful book store. Not many like this exist anymore. Super duper expensive, to be expected I guess. A fun little place to visit.
Jesucristo Yire: Muybien
James Krause: Never used them…

Nice Price Books & Records: what do users think?
Andrew Pappas: Cozy atmosphere with great record selection and good book selection.
Chris Toohey: Q. An ad a
Ladystardust04: Really cool place and I’ve found great stuff here. It’s not super cramped like a lot of other stores like this are- there’s lots of room to browse the books. It’s in a great location too!
Rasheeda Etheredge: Great store. Good selection of albums and books. Friendly service. I will definitely return
Michael Nelsen: An unbelievable store and very friendly staff.
Kofax Kofax: I went in there the other day and all three of the employees were wearing these scary-looking medical masks. It wasn't Halloween, so I'm guessing they must have some kind of contagious disease (?). Did not make me want to shop there!
Royo Drawinz: This is my favorite record place in the triangle area, i have spent probably hundreds of dollars in this store. I was here saturday and 2 saturdays before that ( im kindoff a regular) and i will say its been PACKED. Maybe im just used to it during covid and before everyone knew about it (it had the best comfy chairs!) But woah. A lot of people which: is good that they get there money but its bad for me because it takes awhile to get to where you want to dig! But i always walk out with atleast 40 dollars worth of stuff and everyone is always very friendly! When it isnt busy its one of my favorite places to be. Go get some records and give them more money because they deserve it!
Adam Sumner: Great selection, nice prices ;)
Captainblackleg: One of the greatest places on earth. Feels like a rainbow always shines on this little shop
Madissen Keys: Just such a fun place to go to on campus. I love picking out their DVDs, and they obviously put real care into the causes they promote, such as the Prison Books Collective.
Eddie Lassiter Jr: A great selection of music CDs. Although physical media seams to be all but gone, thanks to places like this you can still indulge. Good selection of blu-rays and DVDs also. Friendly staff.
Naomi Roslyn: Small space but packs a punch! Really awesome and well-sorted record collection. New and used. Not a ton of used books but fair prices and interesting sections.
Anne M: Great store. Everything a used bookstore should be - nice selection of vinyl, CDs, DVDs, VHS, as well as, of course, books. If you are looking for some hard-to-find science fiction paperbacks (or hard cover) they might have them here. I brought in some things to sell, and the bookseller was fast and friendly, quickly sorted my things, checked the quality and I feel gave me a very fair cash price for what he chose to buy. Conveniently located near NC State with that "college town" vibe that those of us who are older still enjoy very much. Quite a few people sitting outside eating at the place next door on the lovely fall day of my visit.
Collin Yates: Awesome selection of records, books, and a whole bunch of other interesting stuff.
Burdy M: I really liked the store wish it was cleaner and more organized…I bought an Ari Lennox album in the plastic went to play it for the first time freshly peeled off plastic and it was scratched on both sides…tragic
Paul Fowler: Not much for used records. A ton of new stuff though and a decent second hand book collection. Public restroom would have got them 4 stars.
Jake Cochran: Definitely my favorite record store. Loads of new stuff, good deals on used stuff, nice people working there that’ll help you look for something. There are a lot of record store options in Raleigh and most of them are good for different reasons but Nice Price does everything very well. Unfortunately I can’t speak to the used book section of the store but I’m sure it’s nice too.
23ethan23: Nice employees and good selection of books movies and cds
Ryan Williams: The smell of old books and the varied assortment of music and literature makes this place a must return. My son and I have found all manner of cds and tapes and books to keep us entertained for hours, since he got a functional tape deck and cd player I forsee many hours and many dollars spent in this fine little store.
Gavin McGuinn: Nice quaint store perfect for finding a new read.
Lisa Lindsay: Great selection of used books and records!

Reader's Corner Inc: what do users think?
Andrew Pappas: Great selection, staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Reasonable prices
Modern Bobber: Love this place! It's a fantastic place to buy affordable used books. They also have vinyl records, comics and graphic novels.
Margaret Griffith: Best store. We'll organized.
A E: I remember going here when I was in middle school. I discovered Calvin and Hobbes in the corner. We would go twice a week before picking up my sister at ballet and i have fond memories of the place. We’re in a strange culture currently. some people want to ban books. I’ve never known anyone to be damned for reading too much, but rather it is for our lack of reading that we narrow our imagination and lessen our intelligence. Even the worst books are easily remedied by a better book thereafter. In the debate of books vs. ban… bet on books, every time.I don’t understand that the mentality of looking around at all the problems in the world and thinking to onself: You know who the real threat to American democracy is?Librarians. In the wee hours of the morning after the bars close you can purchase the 25 cent to the left or the 10 cent to the right. The Readers Corner has good quality surprises in the $.25 section. I got a bird song book and a military history book at 3 AM in the morning. $.50 for the two.
Bill Lowder: Lots and lots and lots of books!
A Carey: You never know what you'll find here! Awesome atmosphere.
Bill Albing: Knowledgeable staff, great selection of books inside, fun collection of cheap books outside. Booklovers welcome. Always helpful and courteous.
Yasmeen Bynum: Parking was easy with the parking lot. They had a good flow of people in and out. Book prices were reasonable. The staff was great! The store is interesting with more then just books. They had discount book outside. Love the place! I would return.
Juan Esteban Hoyos: There are a lot of options and pretty affordable
Freddie Joseph: By far my all-time favorite used book store! This place is a little hidden gem right by NC State. I used to come here as a student and had many wonderful suggestions by the staff on what to read next. Totally JAM PACKED with books of all kinds!
Marsha Adkins: They know their stuff! Good, smart people.
Richard Potter: Incredible store with sections for pretty much any genre you can imagine. I zeroed in on the horror section and found some GREAT stuff that is long out of print. The prices were great. I will definitely be back!
Garrett Camfferman: Good selection
Teal Lepley: A fantastic used bookstore with great prices. It’s got so much character and history. Selling books is easy and you get decent money in return—especially if you choose store credit instead of cash.A note, however: it’s an older building and space is cramped inside. While it has curb ramps and a wheelchair accessible entrance, the inside is definitely not wheelchair accessible. Even when I had a cane, it was difficult to navigate—honestly, it gets cramped in there easily in the weekends for everyone.Definitely visit earlier in the day or during the week, it’s worth it!
Ladystardust04: There is a large selection and it’s a cool place worth visiting. I’ve found some good books BUT I will tell you- for a used bookstore, they really overprice the books. I was shocked at the prices of books that weren’t even in good condition. The aisles are ridiculously small- it can be really hard going through them sometimes even with just 2 people trying to browse the same isle or get around each other. But there is a ton of stuff to browse through and find cool stuff. I kinda get weird and pretentious vibes from the staff. But overall I only get books from used bookstores so I do still support and visit them regardless of what I find to be some downfalls. It’s overall still a cool bookstore.
Laura Gearhart: One of my dons favorite places. Always finds what he us looking for
Kylie Winchester: I love the atmosphere of the store. All of the workers are nice. Tons of options for books
JJ S: Super fun store to browse. Always something unique. The staff are so friendly and kind. It’s a local treasure.
David Robinson: Wonderful selection of books, inside and outside. The outside books are 10cents one side, and 25cents the other. I rarely leave without seeing something interesting and buying it!
Charles Sasser: Amazing niche in Raleigh to find your favorite reading material or music. The outdoor selection of books, magazines, and music/video (music/video during store hours and the other 24/7) can be a source of excitement of finding certain gems during the thrill of the hunt. These items are super bargains and just drop your money in the slot. The money goes to a great cause- NPR.
Duncan “Scotte”: If you want books at great prices come here

Peter Rivera: There’s something special about the whipped cream at this Starbucks! It tastes better that another place. Very nice and friendly staff.
Monique Allen: Would Definitely Recommend!
Jeffrey Calloway: I love Bares and Noble. As traveling salesperson this was my go-to. I see a resurgence of the Nobe and Barnes. People need places to go to. Equilibrium. This name an store is quality always was and still is.
Lynn Feroz-Cosme: This store has the most friendly staff that works really hard to get you the best service!
lil ap: Huge bookstore.
Steven Diver: I love that store
Carmen Glover: Friendly and helpful staff. My daughter wanted a new anime book for her birthday, and the customer service representative (sorry didn't get her name) was very helpful and knowledgeable. They got to talking, and she recommended a few other books to add to her reading collection, this made my daughter day. Now, instead of Amazon, I will be bringing her to B&N.
Jennifer Grybosky: I like the price of used books that are new condition much more than brand new books and how expensive they are at Barnes & Noble.
Mike Gregory: Poor layout with a smattering of trendy books.
J B: It's huge! It's nice to still have a book store you can go to, grab a coffee and just relax. Tons of discount books and the staff is always friendly
Twin Life: My kiddos loved it!!! Books books books!!! Store was clean and customer service was decent. Books were a bit high but do is everything else in the world today. Did see some books on sale but kids didn't like those. We'll be back!
Thom Fishow: Huge (and I mean huge) selection of books and magazines. But the best part is the people--knowledgeable and friendly. It's hard to leave without finding something to take home.
Tracey S: Too expensive.... Love a real book in my hands but the prices
Taylor Mims: This is a really clean store with friendly and knowledgeable staff. If you're ever looking for anything just ask.
Donnie Bryant: Great selection. Be sure to check the prices online before purchasing. They would have billed me a full price when the same book was online for 20% less.
Rajil VEMBE: Took a cup of coffee at the #Starbuck inside... Saw in the science fictions books section some books I already saw movies/ TV show Dune, Foundation, Cowboy Bee Bop , ... But didn't buy any , the next time maybe.
Nelson Duarte: A Good book and good coffe
Amy Hodge: Employees were helpful and friendly.
Seamus McFly: Cafe is always nice to meet people

Dog-Eared Books: what do users think?
Derek Kniffin: Very cute kids corner, but the adult books had a pretty limited selection, and the fiction wasn't split into genres, so it was hard to find what I was interested in. I saw there's work being done on a new section in the back, so maybe it'll be better then
Lilah: loved the atmosphere and the prices! Great customer service will definitely come again.
Manic mommaT: One of the best used book stores in town.
Angela Riddell: An excellent source of used books, most in very good/excellent condition. Employees are SO HELPFUL!
Meredith Hardin: The best used book store in Raleigh!
Sarah Sherrill: The people working were so kind when I went! The selection was amazing and you literally can’t beat the price. Shoutout to the nice lady working the checkout last weekend, she was so fun to talk to and was so helpful. I can’t wait to go back :)
DeAnna Palazzolo: Underrated little hole in the wall. I heard the books were $2ea but I didn't believe it. Sure enough, $2! I got so many books, and since they didn't have the book I was looking for they took down my name and what I was looking for in case they get it. This place was lovely, and I can't wait to return.
Kevin Carpio: A bibliophile’s haven! If you’ve been searching for a book you’ll probably find it here at a bargain. A quintessential local small business.
Louise Cottrell: Love this store! During the pandemic, I was collecting Newbery Medal and Honor books and they went above and beyond the call of duty by pulling out these specialty books and bundling them for me. Who does that? Wonderful people and great books for readers of all ages. Highly recommend.
Miranda Tjelta: Fast and friendly service, perfectly priced books. Dog Eared Books is always my first stop for second hand books!
Emily Miller: I used to shop here when I lived in NC pre-2020. The staff (and dogs) were very nice and helpful! I live out of state but still shop online to support them. Books are great quality and are always packaged with care!
Melissa Lin: There's a wide selection. My order arrived very quickly and the books look brand new!
Elana Hardesty: I randomly found this place while searching for books online and I’m so glad I did. Super easy to purchase books for pickup, great selection, and the staff is very nice! I’ll definitely be coming back.
Alex Chu: Says they do in store shopping, but they're never open. I don't know why I keep trying to shop here, I always leave due to a locked door.
samantha y: Great selection of used books. Staff is always super friendly and helpful
Daniela Alldredge: Didn't realize online ordering only. Actual store closed permanently to public. Disappointing.
Ben Brown: The store isn't open anymore. There's a sign on the door indicating that you can shop online.
Clarence Dillard: A very cool little book shop! They've moved to online only. But they still have occasional in-store shopping days. Need an appointment. Check out their Amazon store!
DONALD JEFFERYS: Cheep books and nice women
Hannah Taylor: Stephanie at Dog-Eared is a gracious owner. I live in California and when I was accidentally given a gift card to this NC shop instead of my local Dog Eared (not related), she gave me a full refund.I learned how to shop at local bookstores like hers through Amazon, so even if you aren't local, you can shop used and support this small business with convenience. Thanks to her kindness, I will definitely try to purchase from this shop in the future!!
Michael Hrivnak: Great service, easy pickup, amazing price. I was looking for a particular business/tech book, and they had it for a few bucks. It is in brand new condition and has obviously never been read. Thanks!

Wake Tech Bookstore - North Campus: what do users think?
Garrett Payne: Amazing store! Every time you buy something they give you a free sample of some random item (at least in my experience).
J Fuller: The bookstore is located in building c. You have to get into the elevator and go down to the first floor. When you come into the building you're on the second floor. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Jose Antonio Pereira H: Lo mejor de lo mejor
M. L.: Friendly and helpful staff!
Terry Williams: I'm a 74 year old student, and I study online.I asked for the book for online, so I got the code, I also asked for a textbook. They didn't have one so the could or wouldn't tell me where I could get a textbook.I was a little disappointed that the book store didn't have textbook in store if a student wanted to buy one.
Steven Mbale: Great service
Samantha Lunsford: Friendly and organized
Erik Young: Bookstore manager was condescending and unhelpful. Spent the majority of the time there gossiping about customers and hitting on employees.
Sam Leone: Fun Fact! The bookstore offers endless bread sticks upon request. Simply ask for Epstein at the counter and a group of cloaked cultists will emerge from behind the backpack rack singing in Latin. Once you have linked the flame the sun will consume itself and humanity will be plunged into darkness. Save for the eternal Olive Garden in which all souls reside for judgement.
C. Smith: lazy workers
Pumpkin: This semester, I had several problems getting materials for my classes. So much so that I had to make several trips to campus to speak with staff and send multiple emails to get it resolved. I'd like to thank Mr. Phillip N., the manager of the Wake Tech-North Campus bookstore, for his assistance throughout the process. Despite the fact that the bookstore must be extremely busy, he responded to my emails quickly and resolved all of my issues.
Leah Byrne: They have summer schedule that they failed to post anywhere on the store. Disappointing to find out from financial aid and not the actual store. Apparently their stores hours are Monday through Thursday and I unfortunately showed up on a Friday.
samuel ruiz: Worst bookstore ever !!! Could not get my order right it took them 4 times to if I could give 0 i would
Erin Ellison: The wake tech northern campus bookstore is where I always go to get my textbooks! The staff is always very friendly and ready to answer my questions on the textbooks and courses that I will be taking. They offer used textbooks and rentals as well which is great to save money. The shipping is also extremely fast when you order online!
Jacinta Bratcher: All of my books were there and they were very helpful.
Ryan Walsh: What purpose does a bookstore serve if you cannot aquire books for your classes? And why would you recommend I go to main campus to check their location when you can clearly see their inventory is also devoid of all the books needed. Instead, they try to lead you into an extremely expensive program that allows digital book rental (which only grants you access for a certain window of time), Unlike an actual book which I will have to forever reference back to in a tangible, meaningful manner. Well, maybe it will allow access to your additional required books from other classes, but probably not. No thank you. I will take my money to an online retailer.
Tammi Williams: Best 250 I have ever spent
Todd Gurley: Crowded but the staff is very professional and fast , they take good care of u . My wife is a student here she loves the campus and all the Teachers
Mary Perretta: Very good
MS BETTY BOOMBOOM aka FEMALE RAPPER D NYCE: I LOVE my School... No other words NEEDED!!!!
Anna Webb: Love Wake Tech
