We were recently there in late April as they were celebrating something-can't remember what- and there were sales and delicious goodies! Staff is very friendly and they'll wrap your book, too! Public restrooms are clean -always a plus!!

Anna Kurtz: A lovely locally-owned bookstore in downtown Raleigh. It has a bright and airy feel, but cozy and quiet at the same time. Small selection of vinyl and jigsaw puzzles as well. Special ordering an out-of-stock book was easy and it arrived quickly. I like that they have a few parking spots out front, too.

Every year my friends and I do a “secret Santa” exchange there, (we browse and buy on the spot from an anonymous questionnaire of likes and dislikes we craft ahead of time) and Charles has always been so accommodating and knowledgeable! The shopping vibe is great, selections are carefully chosen and such a variety! I know it’s easier and sometimes slightly cheaper to buy online, but this retail experience makes getting out and touching, previewing and buying well worth it! Grab and couch, and a read and support local!

Dan Hooker: If you're looking for a great selection of books this is not the place to go. They effectively have books on one wall of the store. Yes, one wall.... What about all the rows and rows of books in the middle of the store? There are none. After browsing the books for a few minutes I got back in my car and wondered why this place had such great reviews. (I originally looked at the star rating only).Turns out people love this place due to their hosting of book clubs and poetry reading. Seems to be more of your trendy hang out spot to socialize at than to move books. If that's your thing then this is probably the place for you. If your just after a good selection of books I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

Hannah Sudduth: This barnes location is just alright. They didn’t have as many options as other ones I go to frequently. Also disappointed there was no cafe but I couldve maybe figured that out if I looked on their website. The inside of this barnes is VERY cozy and welcoming. Not many places to sit down though. This is definitely a barnes for getting in and out, not for hanging out like other locations. Service was great and everyone who worked there was very nice!

B Cash: Placed my order for an item to be picked up, my item was ready when I got there, the cardboard packaging had a couple little dents (item wasn't damaged by any means) and the gentleman at checkout offered a discount because the shipping was a little rough and I declined the discount but I appreciated the thoughtful gesture. I found a couple of interesting books while browsing and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. I will definitely return in the near future just to browse.

Brenda Byers-Banks: Love the set up of this location; it’s huge inside. They have a great selection of all kinds of books. I love their adult coloring books and science fiction selection. The workers are knowledgeable and I can always find a seat inside to do a little reading before I continue shopping around.
Reeze The Vampire: This is the smallest Barnes & Noble I've been to, but it also has the BEST organization I've seen at one. The staff is friendly and the store is clean, but I do miss the smell of coffee; this location doesn't have a café in it like others. Other than that, you probably know what to expect from a Barnes & Noble.
Ayanna Battle: This location does a great job at organizing contents and being engaging to their customers. I am never fearful of asking for assistance with books and even for asking for similar recommendations. I never fear a long wait when needing assistance either, and when getting recommendations they are mindful to keep them relevant to my original inquiry.

David Evans: Can’t say enough great things about this place. Staff is always super helpful and the cafe is always a hit with the kids. The kids section is designed to be stayed in while you read to the kids or they read to you. So many great books and toys to look at. We’ve moved away from kid’s birthday presents and started giving B&N gift cards instead!

We only got to scratch the surface of this wonderful store, but felt so comfortable reading a few books with our littles before picking out some to purchase. Thoughtfully designed store with books for youngest readers on the bottom shelves, and the selection was great - I loved discovering booksfor the kiddos we may not have come across elsewhere. s: This place is awesome! When they were contacted about myself and my partner painting murals on the sidewalk across from them, the shop owner Christine went above and beyond to support our project by offering us access to their space for storage of our supplies and other needs. We painted for almost 3 weeks and could not have finished our project without this shops support. They are REALLY here for the community. The owner is extremely kind and generous.On top of this, they have a fantastic array of books for children AND adults (in the back). I bought a book on "they" pronouns for my mom and my dad bought a book on conversations about race. They also have awesome art, and art supplies for beginners! The store is incredibly cute, kid friendly, and well-stocked. Even though I am an adult, it's my new favorite bookstore. The selection is very diverse and the staff is knowledgeable and can inform you about anything they have stocked. They also have a lot of really unique graphic novels.

This is a beautiful store front filled with carefully selected books for children of all ages. There’s also a few reading nooks for kids, an art section, and an adult corner. Great job on a much needed space!
