    Asiya Nasser: This place is quickly becoming one of the more run down bridal shops in the entire area, Staff rushed through The appointment which was only an hour, every suggestion the bride had asked to try on, they would immediately say no, No help in the dressing room. So honestly, we would have been better off Having appointments on our own without the help. Selection was not bad but I predict their addresses will keep going on cleatence until they eventually shut down.

The dresses I had in mind for myself did not give me those ‘say yes to this dress’ feel. LC picked out her favorite dress that she said she would’ve gotten married in it was available then, and BAM! that was the one, as it took my breath away. I can’t recommend LC at Savvi enough. She’s engaging, funny, knows her stuff, and definitely someone I’d gladly meet out for adult beverages :)!”

    Amber R: This was my very first appointment to try on wedding dresses. I was contacted days ahead of my appointment to get an idea of what I may be looking for. On the day of, walking in, we were greeted immediately and my consultant, Ajia showed us to a couch. She took down some notes on what I was looking for (I didn’t have a lot of ideas ), let us browse for a few minutes and make some possible picks and she found some options based on my thoughts. She was very professional and continued to pull dresses as we started to hone in on what looked good on me. After 6 or 7 dresses, we found the perfect dress! I had happy tears as soon as she added the veil. Did not think that would happen! After another appointment later in the afternoon that was not as pleasant, we came back to Savvi. The manager immediately recognized me when we came in and Ajia as well as other consultants celebrated with me saying yes to the dress! I felt so special and well taken care of. I would recommend Savvi to any bride because they answer your questions and give you the best experience possible!Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Shipping was incredibly fast, maybe 2-3 days? A girl named Callie helped me and got everything worked out for me and she was wonderful! So so sweet and customer service was a 10/10.

    Terri Parker: This place was overpriced with no real prom dresses. Then, in the clearance section, dresses were ripped but still got a price for $100. I was like what!! So I went over to Macy's and got a dress for $80 brand new and was made to move without ripping.

The staff is INCREDIBLY kind, friendly, and warm - always willing to go the extra mile and made me feel so validated. I was nervous to see if I could get a plus size prom dress for under $100 just a few days before my prom, and the staff helped me pick out multiple dresses that I loved and perfectly fit my needs, and I went home with not one, but TWO dresses that make me feel amazing, because of their amazing buy one get one free program! Special thanks go to Tori and Sydney for giving me the most amazing red carpet treatment during my prom dress buying experience. I would recommend this shop to ANYONE looking for a prom or other formal dress!

    Laura Mata: We had a terrible experience here. Two of the sales ladies hit on us by calling us love and we are not gay in any way and did not want to be hit on. The other sales lady was very classy, but she could not speak English and we had questions. We had a thin girl as the client who really needed 000 dresses, but they had NONE. We had to try on 00 dresses and they had few of them, so if you are very thin, go elsewhere. All of those would have required alterations and we were hoping to find one that did not as they do not alter the dress for you. One of the sales ladies told us that, "all dresses need to be altered anyway." They send you elsewhere to have alterations and you cannot get a refund. Another thing that struck me was that they were not sure what the dress fabric was exactly. There were two different answers from two different clerks. I also did not like the music and would have expected classical music or calming music at a place with eight hundred dollar dresses. In general, I cannot recommend this store in the least, especially if you are not gay or do not want to get hit on by the sales staff. Their approach of calling women, "love" is something that would drive away the straight clients as straight people have no problem being served by gay people, but most definitely do not want to be hit on by a sales clerk. I would give this place no stars, but it does look like in order to post, you have to click on one.

Customer service was wonderful. AJ took care of us, was helpful, and ready to answer any questions and make suggestions. Everyone else there was also delightful and helpful. The selection of gowns was extraordinary many colors, styles and sizes in stock and ready to purchase. They shared that the the women who worked there picked out all the dresses themselves. Not only did they do a phenomenal job but they were also very knowledgeable about the dresses and what would look good on.My daughter found many dresses she liked but settled on a stunner that looked perfect on her.The dressing room was open and large with good lighting, places to sit and plenty of mirrors.Checking out was also smooth and easy. There was never any up selling pressure or pushiness whatsoever. In fact there were signs in the dressing room that indicated that if you liked something that was not in your budget let them know and they would help you find something that was in your budget.I am so glad that was our first choice/stop as we needed no others and we were in and out in an hour! Great job all around. Thank you!

The customer service was hands down the best at Savvi. The staff was wonderful making my daughter feel like she was the most important customer. They listened to me when I told them what our budget was and did not show her dresses that were above the price. My daughter found her perfect dress at Savvi. Next year the only change I will make it to start earlier. So many of the staff helped us but Kayla was super at the final sale. Thank you!

Prom season has hundreds of teens heading to shop for dresses and thus store was small compared to the number of customers in the store. Also, there was very little selection and just a few fitting rooms which would have us waiting at least 30 minutes in line.
    Cheyenne Locklear: This is the first prom dress store I had came to for my senior prom and I walked in and immediately found a dress that I fell in love with. I went to multiple stores after that and still all I could think about was this store. So I drove 2 hours from my house back to this store and got the dress that I had fell in love with. This store has a wide range of sizes for every body from size 0 to size 30. This store has gone above and beyond for me and my friend and fit us with dresses that we instantly fell in love with and were comfortable in. The staff came and helped us if we needed it as well as helping the dress fit us the way its supposed to. The staff was wonderful and helpful in every way. They also included places to help with alterations.WILL DEFINITELY BE COMING BACK IN THE FUTURE!!

She asked initial questions when my mother and I arrived to get an idea of what I wanted and then pulled the dresses for me, which I greatly appreciated since I had no idea what I was actually going to like.The dress options at this bridal shop are all so gorgeous and Mia could not have been more fabulous at helping me find my dream dress! So grateful that I had her to share such a special day with. She really did make my wedding dress shopping experience a 10/10!! Could not recommend Mia or Coastal Knot Bridal enough!!

    maddie freels: This was the worst experience. The workers were unprofessional, snobby, and the atmosphere was overall judgmental. This place was chosen by the bride, but it was clear she was not welcome. There is no privacy in the store. Not to mention you can’t use the bathroom. The workers said not to touch the dresses, yet people were coming in and out of the store touching dresses. We asked the worker to bring specific veils and dresses, yet she would bring the opposite veil and dress. It felt passive aggressive as she rolled her eyes and the bride left sad. 10/10 DO NOT recommend.
    Carla Smith: My daughter shopped for her dress in May 2021. Costal Knot had five dresses ready to go when we arrived based on my daughter’s input that she had communicated via email. Dress number five was the one. Costal helped her pick out a veil and recommended the seamstress. I appreciated that they abided by our price range that was given and no dress that my daughter tried on was above her budget. I highly recommend Coastal Knot for your bridal dress shopping.
    Pecorino Giffin: Don’t waste your time- wouldn’t accommodate a quick look at accessories. I am no amateur and understand the need for an appointment when looking for full blown styling and gowns. I made it clear I did not need nor want styling and just wanted to view the accessories on offer, which would have taken all of 15 minutes. I was in town from Charlotte and hoping to take a quick look. The quick dismissal and condescending tone certainly does not warrant a trip back. Any higher end shop I’ve been into is wise enough to welcome in a bride looking to spend money on accessories but Coastal Bride is clearly foolish!

There was zero pressure to say "yes" at Coastal Knot and Stephanie did an amazing job of allowing me to feel like I was choosing my dress and not like I was being sold my dress. I also loved that if I critiqued an aspect of a dress, Stephanie knew exactly which dress to pull next that might better suit my preferences. She is very good at her job.I also found that my communications with Stephanie, even after I purchased my dresses, was prompt and always helpful.Overall, my experience with Stephanie and Coastal Knot was wonderful. I have not one complaint and highly recommend them. Also, the selection is incredible.

First of all, they made a COVID-safe appointment very enjoyable and the personalized experience you get here is like no other. The small boutique feel and appointment requirement allows you a ton of attention from the ladies that work there. Amber did an amazing job at pulling dresses that I had no idea I would love, and she was so sweet and supportive the whole time. I found my dress here, and they were very open and transparent about the timeline of the process the whole time. The timeline ended up being even better than what they predicted! Then, when I took my dress to a DIFFERENT local tailor who really messed up an important part of my dress, I went back to Coastal Knot and they went above and beyond to fix the error that was made, carting my dress to and from their Wilmington location where their personal tailor is located. Stephanie was absolutely PHENOMENAL the whole time, reassuring me throughout the process and always being willing to answer any questions I had. Amanda the manager was also really great the whole time, helping this whole process happen. By some miracle, their tailor was able to completely fix an error I thought was irreversible just in time for my wedding, and I am eternally grateful that I chose Coastal Knot for my wedding dress.     Ashton Rizzi: I loved my experience with Alexia’s. I purchased my dress from the Raleigh location in October 2021 for my May 2023 wedding. Lauren was my consultant. When I arrived to the boutique it was beautiful, clean, and inviting. They had a private dressing room set up for me with my name in a frame and champagne for my mom, sister, and me. Lauren really listened to what I wanted. I was never pushed to try anything outside of my budget. I said yes to a stunning Ines di Santo gown and did my alterations at Alexia’s as well. Jamie was very helpful throughout that process.
    Anna Dewar: I cannot sing enough praise about Lindley my stylist at Alexia's! She is unbelievably talented and so in tune with even the tiniest details creating a bridal shopping experience truly tailored to each bride. She pulled the most perfect gowns for the vision I described to her prior to my appointment, so perfect that I actually chose the first gown she pulled for me (which I never in a million years would have imagined being as indecisive as I am!!) We had only spoken over the phone and she could not have pulled a more "me" gown. The shop is stunning and everyone is so patient and supportive.     Emma Tucker: Truly the worst part of my bridal experience.They use manipulative and predatory sales tactics to get you to make a purchase on your first visit. You are not allowed photos, or to know the name of the dress, so you have nothing to compare it to. The owner, Alexias, barged in on my fitting to bring multiple dresses that were the exact opposite of what I was interested in. I declined to try on, which seemed to make her frustrated, but she persisted and continued to waste my time throughout the appointment. But the worst part for me happened after purchasing the dress....They do not order the dress immediately. In fact, they order it according to their own schedules. I visited the salon 9 months prior to my wedding date. I was guaranteed the dress was expected to arrive in December (4 months after ordering). After calling multiple times, getting a different answer every time, I realized they had not even placed the order yet. After confronting them with this, they said it magically shipped that next day. After calling multiple times to confirm it had arrived in the store, they were unable to find the dress. FINALLY, in mid February, after crying to them on the phone they went and searched in the back and "found the dress in a pile of other orders." That is a direct quote from one of the shop girls.Finally- when I was measured to order a size, they let me know that I would be a size 8 based on my measurements. They require you to sign a doc confirming you entered your measurements correctly. When I went home, I noticed on an online sizing chart for the designer that I actually would likely have better fit into a size 4/6. I believe they do this so that you are forced to spend more on alterations at their in store alterations area. I recognized this, so I took the dress as is when it arrived. My local seamstress was absolutely appalled by the size dress they ordered and confirmed we had been taken advantage of. She said they were either clueless or exploiting us. She ended up removing over 8 inches from the chest area and had to add an additional panel to make the dress even stay up. It took over 5 fittings. Also- Alexias quoted me 2k for alterations, my local seamstress did the work for 500, including tip.The girls who work in the shop are lovely and kind. Jamie, Willow, and Lindley all were so helpful. The owner, Alexia, is well known by many as manipulative. And I'm sure, based on previous review responses, that she will respond to this defensively.My recommendation to you- there are plenty of shops within driving distance of Raleigh that offer the same designers and services as Alexias. It is worth the drive to avoid the pain and exploitation from Alexias.
    Cortney Holmes: Alexia’s was the only place I made it to for my wedding dress! I tried on about 10 and the girls there were so helpful and sweet. Jamie in particular helped me schedule out fittings since I moved out of state and the dress is absolutely perfect. Their seamstress was so kind and she did an amazing job! She even had dresses overnighted from a different store that she thought could be the one. Their level of service and attentiveness is unmatched and I couldn't recommend them more as they made the process of finding the perfect dress a very enjoyable and memorable one.

The boutique is small and intimate, which made my experience even more special. The selection of gowns is diverse and I had more styles that I gravitated towards even compared to larger boutiques.     Ivy Hubbard: They use predatory sales tactics, pressuring you to buy on the spot instead of being able to go home and think on it or shop around other boutiques. They throw all these discounts and deals at you that expire as soon as you walk out the door. They promised me my dress would arrive mid July, and it didn't arrive until August 24th, 2 weeks before my wedding, and they couldn't care less. I then had to rush through fittings with their very rude seamstress. I paid over $1000 for very minimal alterations and they couldn't explain to me why it cost so much.
    Meredith Gummerson: I had a lovely time shopping for wedding dresses with Lindley! The rooms are spacious and they have such of wide selection of beautiful designer gowns. I like how they call you ahead of your visit to learn more about your vision and appreciated that Lindley had preselected some gowns for me to try that were well within my budget. I'm someone who tends to need time to think on decisions and I never felt pressured to purchase that first day. Lindley kindly fit me in a couple days later so I could decide between a couple dresses there and one at another boutique. The Monique Lhuillier dress I chose was actually one Lindley brought to me at the end of my first appointment and totally different than anything I had originally been thinking of. The matching veil her coworker Jamie recommended was the perfect finishing touch. I can't wait for my dress and veil to arrive and am very grateful to the warm, patient, and knowledgeable staff at Alexia's for making my dress shopping experience so special.

I even let her pull a wild card one, which I suggest everyone do. Something that you would never try on but just to see.     T Staff: Alla was provided my exact measurements for a bridesmaid dress. Not only was the dress made excessively too large, but Alla admitted that the dress was made by another seamstress! After sending the dress to my home it was too late to send it back for alterations so I had to resort to a local seamstress. ALL declined to fix the dress stating that the dress could not be altered due to it being excessively too big and too long. Here I was stuck with no dress a few weeks from the wedding date! Im extremely dissatisfied and wasted my time and money.
    Vern Baum: I will start by saying Alla does great work! I was so impressed with how quickly she sketched and sewed my sister's wedding dress, so I decided to use her. I drove over 2 hours to get fitted for a bridesmaid dress in March (Alla took all of the measurements). I didn't realize until ~6 weeks after the measurements were taken that she still hadn't started on the dress and I think this was because I hadn't paid a deposit. I quickly sent the deposit (like within 2 hours) and texted Alla offering an apology. I told her know that I would've paid a deposit much earlier had it been communicated to me earlier. Her response (on May 17th) was that it was fine because we still have plenty of time. When the dress finally arrived in mid-August (it was shipped to my home), I was shocked at the sizing. It was ~6 inches too big in the waist, the sleeves were much shorter, and it was ~4 inches too long in length. There was NO reason for the sizing to be this incorrect because Alla had taken all of my measurements herself. After the bride pressed Alla about the incorrect sizing, Alla admitted that she didn't make the dresses herself (she contracted the work). Alla said that I could send the dress back and she'd fix it. I didn't send it back for 2 reasons: 1. She didn't even make the dress the first time (when the understanding was that she would), so why was I to believe that she'd actually be the one fixing it? 2. It was too close to the wedding (the wedding was Labor Day weekend). I live over 2 hours away, which meant I would have had to ship the dress back to her, hope it would be fixed correctly, then have her ship it back. Not only that, I still had to get the dress cleaned and pressed before the wedding. I ended up getting it altered near my home for $125. I'm leaving a poor review, not for Alla's work, but for the way business was conducted. I paid for this service thinking that SHE was going to make the dress and she didn't do so. If you ever decide to do business with her, just ensure that SHE'S actually going to make the dress.

We came to H&H shoe repair with the hopes that they could either fix the shoe or help us with inserts or some guidance as to how to make the shoe fit her foot better. The gentleman that helped us (I don’t remember his name) was amazing he gave us better inserts and a few tips on how to make the shoe tighter and fit her foot better.     Samantha: I need the bottoms of my shoes built up, and a physical therapist recommended I go here. They have now worked on 3 pairs for me. For what I need, it's $50/shoe, and it usually takes them less than a week. It's not the finest craftsmanship or most excellent customer service, as none of the employees have said anything to me other than about the transaction, but they get the job done. My shoes have held up as much as expected over time, so I don't have any horror stories. However, I'd be willing to go elsewhere if it were more affordable or similarly priced with more personable service.
    Todd Grooms: I have worn orthotics since I was 13. I have had a difficult finding someone who could make an orthotic for me that didn't end up hurting my ankles and knees. Fast forward 33 years and my chiropractor said that I should check out H and H. I can't say enough good things about them. Liz took the time to throughly examine my feet and gait and made me a pair of orthotics that fit perfectly and have allowed me to get into a wide shoe instead of an extra wide shoe. They were also able to widen my cycling shoes without me having to remove the cleats. I would recommend them to anyone who needs orthotics or shoe adjustments.
    Benjamin Gurlitz: I brought in a pair of Allen Edmonds to have the heel and sole replaced. Upon dropping them off, I was surprised at the price and quick turn around. The entire job cost $60.00 and they would be ready in three days.When I picked up my shoes three days later, I surprised at the poor quality of craftsmanship and the the poor quality of the materials used. Normally, when a pair of shoes is resoled, the cobbler carves out a small channel in the sole and sews the stitches into the channel. Instead of taking the time to carve out a channel, the cobbler made a little slit. Most of the stitches went into the little slit, but some did not. Not only was the craftsmanship sloppily done, it was so sloppily done that it effected the durability of the repair. They also polished my shoes and I'm pretty sure they used a cheap petroleum based product.What's more, the materials they used seemed to be below par. I'm not an expert on sole leather, but after wearing my shoes a few times, it became very clear that the soles would need to be replaced within 6-8 months (they should last for at least year).Bottom line: If you're not a shoe person, then this place is viable. It's cheap and the turn around time is very good. If you are a shoe person, you will be disappointed. The point of purchasing expensive shoes is that, over the long run, they will be cheaper because one only needs to replace the soles instead of getting a new pair of shoes. If you go here, you will absolutely have to replace the soles more often and it will end up being more expensive.

Granted, they were ivory, not white, so I wasn't expecting perfect, but when I bring my shoes in with the swatch and you tell me it can be done, I expect a good job.... especially for the shoes I'm wearing on my wedding day!The dye job is so terrible it's embarrassing. I can't wear them on my wedding day, and have pictures taken of them! The dye is darker in areas on the bow... Which is front and center, a focal point of the shoes, it makes the shoes look dirty. Some areas are barely dyed, and still look White. I was so disappointed when I got these back, and I even expressed this and told the girl "I can't wear these for my wedding, these look awful". She just shrugged and basically told me if I want to find another pair that is actually white "she'd probably work with me on the price". I'm sorry...What makes you think I'd come back after my wedding shoes were already ruined, and pay again!!?? It wouldn't be so bad if the lady would have come out and talked to me and told me what to expect, but she didn't.. nobody did. All I got was a simple "yep she can do it", and I was so thrilled to hear it could be done. I most likely would not have opted to get them dyed if someone had come out and talked to me - letting me know they could possibly be ruined. I was already on the fence about not dying them as it was. So upsetting! I cannot even begin to express my disappointment. As if planning a wedding isn't stressful enough! Now I have to find another pair of shoes bc these aren't even in stock in my size anymore, and it took me MONTHS just to settle on these shoes. I can't even find these in my size and the right color anywhere now, they are sold out!
