Amelia Lee: I wanted to love the shop. It's cute with an NC State mural, board games, and a cute photo op, but the boba wasn't cooked all the way. It was the half cooked where the outer is chewy but the middle is hard. I liked that the strawberry lemonade wasn't too sweet, but the dirty milk tea tasted like it was only milk. The taiyaki was a good lil treat. It's a cool vibe to hangout but as a boba shop, it should be the best part.

JJING: I got a dirty milk tea and the drink is basically just brown sugar syrup and hard boba. Disappointing since I live nearby and I love bubble tea, but if I wanted to chug brown sugar, I could do that at home. I should have expected it when their menu expressly avoids writing prices down. It's $6.30 for a 16oz and $7-something for a 24oz without any changes. Tons of ice in these too.

Marin Kinard: Drinks weren't really that good. I got the horchata milk tea and the caramel milk tea. Couldn't taste the caramel at all and I saw that the drinks were made using a powder so they tasted watery. While they are inexpensive, I would not come here again. There are better places nearby.

Muniba Khan: Not bad boba tea in Morgan Street Food Hall. You can mix the fruit tea flavors which is nice. I got butterfly pea + lychee tea with lychee jelly and it was refreshing. They have some interesting flavors including a horchata milk tea. It's not bad but I'm not a huge fan of super sweet things. At least the fruit teas are more flexible with the sweetness.

Luz Schvindt: Took my son for a boba tea. We usually get them at the Grand Asia Market, but it was closed and we opted for this place. My son wanted a honeydew boba tea, but they were out. He had to settle for something else, which turned out to be very sweet to both our tastes. I ordered the matcha green tea and it was much better, but also on the sweeter side. We probably won't be going there again since it's mainly young teens making them. I'd rather have more authentic boba teas than fad teas.

For a long time the boba they served was dark molasses colored. For the past year, every time I go in the boba is a light amber color. Kimberly Ramos: Place has a nice cozy feeling. Got the cold thai tea with boba and the drink was delicious! The tea was not too sweet and had a great taste, the boba was nice and chewy. The drink came out almost immediately but one thing I will add is that if you order food be prepared to wait 15+ minutes as they do take quite a bit of time preparing it (I will say that I was the only customer there around 1pm and they still took a while). Regardless of that, the popcorn chicken rice plate was delicious, but I will not be ordering food when I'm in a hurry. Plate looks a bit shaken because I walked back to campus with it, I do recommend it anyways!

However I walked in and they had run out of boba so I tried their Fruit Tea with Mango Purée and Strawberry Jelly, a combo I probably wouldn’t have reached for otherwise and it was freaking delicious. Like I might come back tomorrow. Like I regret my choice of a medium. I'm sure we would have had a better experience. Negative stars for this place.

Laura Wood: This place is amazing. The food is great, the tea is great, and the customer service is fantastic. The only thing I’ll say is, the first time I got the adobo chicken bowl it came with broccoli and an egg but the second time I got it, it didn’t. I don’t know if they were out of those or what but the chicken was still amazing. I highly recommend the adobo chicken, the taro tea, and the earl grey tea. The prices are also great compared to other local boba places and restaurants.

Seaflame: Re-named shop with the name revolving around “Mulan’s Boba and Ice Cream” instead of ICool, so the owners may be different, but same location. My friends and I were all looking forward to some good boba and a nice place to hangout so we decided to try this new place. Once we entered, the first thing we noticed was the lack of atmosphere, which means it’s not entirely the best place to chill if you’re looking to have a good time. Walls were completely bland, and the menu was even difficult to understand. There was half a menu on the front wall when entering, and you had to look at a completely different wall to choose from your small selection of (vague) boba flavors. The cashier even looks at you annoyingly like you’re already supposed to know that you have to choose off of two menus on opposite sides of each other. So right off the bat, the place wasn’t very inviting. We all ordered drinks with tapioca. Three of the drinks take over 30 minutes to be served (even when we were the only customers). My friends tried each other’s drinks and unfortunately the taste was not pleasant in either of them. Two were extremely salty, and the other tasted like perfume. No drink should ever taste like perfume. So think twice about coming in if you are here for a quick drink, or are on-the-go. A few more customers come in, and I patiently wait for the last drink (my order) to be served. After patiently waiting and seeing new customers receive their orders, I sit there thinking for another 10 minutes that the order will eventually come out, it turns out they completely forgot. I notify them and gave my order once again, and when I finally received it after more patient waiting....there were no tapioca balls in sight and the drink was just awful. I felt like everything was a joke from the atmosphere, customer service, and quality of drinks. I’ve been to numerous boba joints and I have to say that this was me and my friends’ worst boba experience. I was even more disappointed that I traveled so far from a small city to the capital believing there would be better boba options, but in reality there are many smaller towns with exceptional boba options. Please do not waste your time here.

Freyja the Witch: It’s really really pretty inside and it was pretty crowded. I was really excited for my food to come out but when it did, it all kinda tasted off? I tried the pork belly bowl and crab rangoons and also ordered a taro tea. The cream cheese in the rangoons tasted really gross for some reason, and the pork belly was dry and not soft and tender like when you make it at home. I will say the taro tastes really good but the milk was too creamy for me. Definitely a bit overrated for the price.

Terrika Irvin: Overall experience was good and customer service was great. The Bao buns weren’t that flavorful in my opinion and kind of dry so that was a disappointment. Definitely expected some type of sauce with them or sauce on the side. I ordered the Budacai Bao which consisted of 4 different baos. I've tried a decent number of places, and Kungfu tea remains my favorite place to get boba.It's cute inside , the staff is friendly and helpful and I always love the milk teas ! So creamy and delicious. They also have my favorite consistency of pearls. They are chewy , not over cooked and mushy. If you know you know .Go try kungfu !

Remarus: Here visiting family and we were craving Boba, especially since our local Boba shop has closed. This shop rocks. The range of choices were outstanding, both the tea and coffee options tasted amazing, and the boba was chewy, soft, and sweet. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. 5/5 will try to swing by again before we go.

Ali Baba: Stumbled upon this little store on Google maps and wanted to give it a try today. Starting with the service: the employees were great and delivered a great service with happy face. I ordered The Raspberry Lemon green tea with only 25% sugar, however it turned out to be very sweet so I had to order another with boba in it. Overall a good little store in a good location.

Carina Reyes: Small and cute little boba shop. They didn't have many options foodwise (when I got there around) but they did have many options for boba drinks. I got lychee green tea with boba, light sweetener and it was the best I've had. My boyfriend had one of the recommended drinks and he didn't like it because of how sweet it was. I thought the drink remade would ve just remade because he only took a sip, but they made us pay again which is fine but I've never had to pay for a remake at other pay. If you are into less crowded areas this is the one to go to. The two people that were working are very friendly. It is a wait because there were only two employees at the time, but I would come again.

Luis Marcano: I lived in the area and there is one place that I normally go for poke, however it was closed on Sunday so I saw Poke bar and gave it a try and oh boy it was a great decision. I'm a fan of poke bowls/bars and it's all about the freshness of the product and they have it. We tried four different bowls, the Sweet Carolina, Surf and turf, and two individual creations and man they delivered it! The seafood was very fresh and the combination of flavors and sauces were on point. The portions are great for the price you paid and I'm really happy with the outcome. Very tasty and well planned. The spoke bars are becoming more popular but not all of them are good and this one is definitely a great choice! I'll definitely be back and try more of their selection and explore other options. The staff was super friendly, this time we ordered to go, but when I got there it was fairly busy, it's a small restaurant so if it's busy it may be hard to get a place to sit, but definitely worth it to go! You will not be disappointed! I highly recommend it 🔥🔥🔥

I sat in front of the counter, she helped them then another person walked in and helped him. This has put my time and $$ in distress, if I cancelled the order it would work against me. Then without a word she put my order on the counter and continued working until I looked at her. Then she said - your order. I called and spoke to her this evening, she said she takes orders from the people in front of her first. HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT!!!! And, she is never even nice or friendly. I reported your store to Door Dash!

Joseph Simmons: As far as poké goes, nothing beats Foodland poké. That being said, they have a unique way of doing their poké. They mix all the flavor in a way I haven't seen elsewhere.
