Dickerson Hearth Products Inc: what do users think?
L Brown: Purchased a fireplace and logs from them months ago for a new home build. I got the fireplace, no logs. They will not answer the phone. Builder can’t get them to answer either. Very frustrating.
Ed Jacobson: Poor Quality Installation with DELAYS DELAYS DELAYS ! NO CUSTOMER SERVICE OR SATISFACTION !!
Joe Zajac: This company does not respond to the emails I send. Installed wrong color on my chimney. Had to reorder and install. Had roof inspected and used wrong material on the cap. It was rusting and installed with roofing nails. Now it’s been almost a month after I informed them of problem still not corrected. Call today and said they would call me back. There salesman I purchased from does not respond. Joe Zajac
Sarah Jackson: After scouting over several different Hearth/Chimney services, I can assure you Dickerson has the most unreliable service in the Raleigh area. No other service provider that I attempted to work with had an automated telephone service; the others gave me direct lines and I had absolutely no trouble reaching them. With Dickerson, I called and left detailed messages over and over again and received no response. In my experience with home improvement projects, reliable communication between the homeowner and the contractor makes the difference between success and failure. A concerned homeowner will want to entrust their project to a contractor of the highest accountability. Dickerson is not that contractor.
Matt Burns: We wanted to build an outdoor kitchen and fire pit for our house that we're renovating in Raleigh. The guys at Dickerson were awesome to work with; They handled the job from start to finish and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. Would highly recommend their products and services.
Brittnee Rambo: I didn’t have the smoothest experience with my fireplace from Dickerson. I had 3 main hiccups during my set up/start up process. But, I can say they gave each issue their full attention and resolved the issues with a positive and customer-friendly attitude. Charlie did a great job managing each hiccup and coming up with solutions. I appreciate the follow through and the customer service.
Jose Ruiz: I am shure is the # 1..
Dennis Tharrington: You just cannot find a better group of folks or anyone more helpful with selections, advice, installations, ....the whole works! A top-notch company with great personnel.
Merry Ann Cutler: Excellent choice of fireplaces, interior and exterior, mantels, logs, stones, rock. Personal attention and care above the rest!!!
Tyree Gill: Good experience and nice people
cathy morley: If you need more information before buying, dont go here!, Salesman had no clue about the prodicts that he was selling, very limited selection instore as well, but was surprised by the low level of customer service
Byrd Kirby: Dickerson Hearth installed a fireplace for me they knew was faulty without informing me about the issue. Then only after it was installed they advised that the control panel was faulty and it would be a couple of months before the replacement was in. It ended up being weeks longer than originally promised, so we missed the entire first winter's use. Now in our second winter we learn actually it wasn't the control panel it was a different part so after only a couple of weeks of use once again it isn't working and they can't even give me an estimated date on replacement because the manufacturer can only supply a few at a time. Stay away they are dishonest and their product is terrible!!
Kathryn Coley: Best place to get everything related to your fireplace or outdoor kitchen. They have the most amazing products. And the employees are wonderful and kind to work with.
Barbara Conrad: Excellent experience from start to finish. Hill is very well informed about the products Dickerson offers and spent time fine-tuning the selection to our room size and budget. Work started on the day and time promised and Dustin and Daniel knew what to do and how to do it from the start. No second guessing; just worked quietly and quickly until the job was finished. The attention to detail and overall quality is top drawer. Hill is still checking-in with us to make sure everything is working properly. We are very happy with the Dickerson team...couldn't ask for a better sales/install service.
Gregg Davis: Professional and courteous. Great products and great crew. I wouldn't use anyone else!
Ryan Brooks: Extremely poor customer service and very difficult to work with. We paid Dickerson Hearth additional repair fees after the initial installation of the fire place only to find out later, after a professional home inspection, that the repairs were not done correctly. When I called Dickerson Hearth to discuss their poor service they were unwilling to help me or work with me in any way and shouted at me that it would be $125 fee just to look at the fire place.
Eithne Burke: We really wanted to like this business. They do have a nice showroom, and they were very friendly and helpful when we went to look, and we bought a pricey stainless steel fire (good for indoor and out) the very same day (nearly 4K). The problem was that either the wrong package of accessories (vent) were ordered by them, or not at all (fan control) - the wrong wall vent came and was installed by our builder before we realized it was the wrong size……and it delayed finalization of our home extension by over three weeks. They eventually sent the techs out, but the delay was totally avoidable, and seemed careless, and cost us a lot of frustration and back and forth communication, and delay in finishing other aspects of the extension. We also realized we needed a fan control late in the order (the fan is VERY noisy), that should have been recommended initially. It took weeks of and back and forth, with the final decision that a technician needed to install it, (appt made, we waited and waited) only to change their mind without letting us know, and shipped it instead (one simply plugs it in, its simple), with no communication. At the end of the day, its a lovely fireplace (not cheap), it works well (pending testing it next winter), its aesthetic to look at, but it was overall a very patchy service and follow up.
Jhared Smith: I bought a nice new house built by Bill Clark Homes last August. I'm happy with it. We had a 1-year warranty to stamp out any issues, and the builders left a sticker with the numbers and contact info for everyone who worked on my house. Nice! I've called most of them to fix the odd or end here and there over the past year. In the spring, I shutoff the pilot light for my gas fireplace that was installed by Dickerson. At about $8-10 a month, I would end up saving about $50 by the time I needed to turn it on again. Well, based on the current temps, that time is today. Had I remembered to, I would have tried to do so BEFORE my 1-year warranty was up. Egg on my face. The fireplace will not start - the pilot light just will not turn on. I call Dickerson at the number left for me, and give them my lot # and location. They tell me that due to my 1-year warranty being up, I would need to pay a $75 service call fee. For a 13-month old fireplace. No thanks. A quick web search turned up some nice instructions on checking the major culprits. The first thing I notice is that whoever installed the gas valve under this thing did a really terrible job of placing it - the valve is resting tightly against the fireplace mechanics, and these is 0 room for movement. It looks rather unsafe, but only a call to the gas company will reveal that. I remove the front glass panel and checking the piezo ignition. No spark. No matter how many times I push. Great. That explains why it won't light! One $3 bic stick lighter later and my fireplace is back in business. My fault for not utilizing my warranty to the fullest before it was up, but given that this is a product that is - at best - good for only 1/3 of the year in NC, you would think there would be better options for warranty. Regardless, it doesn't sound like you can trust the installation or product quality from Dickerson.
Michael Shea: Very poor. 5 missed appointments to bring a gas grill. When they came, it was not completely installed or built, it took 3 more missed appointments to get them to finish it, and when they did, they removed a leaky gas hose. Two weeks later, they still have not installed the removed hose. Calls into them are met with "Oh, I though that this was cared for" (twice!!). So far, one month in, and cannot use the thing. One lame excuse after another.Do yourself a favor, skip these people. Glad I paid via a credit card, I have a recourse. Never again.

The Home Depot: what do users think?
Samantha Warren: I usually come to this Home Depot and it’s a good experience, and, today Steven in the paint section really made an impact with his customer service skills! Thanks for helping me find another store with more of the product I was looking for in stock!
Tony Beasley: The Crapital Boulevard location is always well stocked, not crowded, (when I go), friendly associates who are always helpful and knowledgeable about all products and their locations. Check it out for your DIY needs!
Thomas Staff: Tobias was first class. Despite other colleagues not being willing to help him I.e lazy, Tobias problem solved the situation and sorted as quickly as he could. Thank you Tobias
Jes: Avoid.
Keshia C.: I picked up an order that was ready and had to wait 20 mins to get it. Customer service was 5 out of 10.
jeferson patiño: Craft program for kids, free familia plan every 1rs Saturday month.Excelente plan para niños y niñas, manualidades en Home Depot primer sabado del mes 9 am.
Charlotte Collins: No one helped, and 3 employees watched me struggle at the register while lifting the items. Will not return.
Justin: Terrible customer service rep. Don't order anything to be delivered to this store. They will give your order to someone else. Didn't even check my ID even after they had already given part of my order to someone else
Jamie Hunt: Nice people, good service, but store layout needs to be more contracting friendly!
Myriam Susana Puente Jara: Que bien me fué aquí, pude encontrar lo que necesitaba, hay buena atención a los clientes. Sí que disfruté mi visita a The Home Depot, volveré. 👌😀☘️🍀🎸
Bryan Kristoffer de la Silva: We were standing in the drapery section for a good 20 to 30 minutes, and not one employee offered assistance. We only chose to purchase products here because the prices were good but do not expect costumer service of any kind.
Lynetta Spells: Jessi was amazing as a women it can be overwhelming sometimes especially wanting some help. But she made my experience so good! We need more people like her in this world! She truly loves her job and it shows
Breck S: Great place for tools
Steffen Schmitt: Good assortment, friendly and helpful staff
jeff romano: Really really need more people working there to help sometimes it's very hard to find someone to help you on a certain area
Yvette Holmes: This is the second Home Depot that didn't have a person in the appliances department to answer questions. The customer service people did their best to get the answers I needed. I believe her name was Abbie. She went over and above to find the information. She was patient and stayed on it until she found it. I found her to be very helpful and polite.
Wafaa Darwish: Good storeGood customer serviceI got machines from them it doesn’t work I returned it back and they refund me and I got another one
Christopher Heath: The best place to buy shingles Home improvement items bath fixtures kitchen fixtures you name it they have it all and the best prices to L***** is okay but Home Depot has definitely got them beat they are top-notch they are upping their high spot of the Fortune 500 companies for a good reason they know what they're doing and they have helped very helpful employees to help you find what you need and I'm very happy with them so far and I just really wish the best for them and I keep shopping with them two to three times a day unfortunately that's part of my job I am a contractor that goes in and out all the time and I do know a lot about what I'm talkin about here if you need anything for your DIY projects they are the place to go.. The Price is Right and most of the time they would is in good shape not all been warped up like the other place that I know of some time
Wendell Perry: They don't have enough people to help you find what you need and when you find someone they just point and don't show you or better yet walk you to were the item is. I just want to know if customer service is important to these big retailers nowadays?

The Home Depot: what do users think?
Lawrence Rollman: There were eight of us in line at the “Pro” check out, line isn’t moving at all bc of a problem the one employee working the register was having. I looked around and there were SEVEN employees in the vicinity including the lady working the register, including a manager, and only two were obviously doing anything, one was sitting in a chair looking at the people in line waiting to spend their money at Home Depot. You’d think they’d want to get your money and keep you happy getting you out quickly but my experience is that this is how Home Depot approaches customer service.
J J: It's a good home depot.
Simin Imanirad: Always love it
Colton Tingen: I thought this was a good location but I would have to agree worst customer service ever. I've walked through this store on several occasions and was never greeted or asked if I needed help finding anything. Most of the staff looks to go out of their way to avoid you.The straw that broke the camels back however was when I pulled up in the parking lot at 7:59 pm to return rental equipment at 8:00 pm on Sunday when it was due back only to be yelled at from the entrance after I had loaded the equipment on the cart that they were closed and that I would have to come back tomorrow to return the equipment tomorrow morning. Thats cool except I live in Cary. My feedback would be don't tell some one to bring back their rental at 8 pm, or allow customers to schedule that return time on Sunday if you are going to be closed at 8 and not allow anyone to return their rental at that time.Apparently they did the same thing to another guy as I was standing in the parking lot writing this review. He just left his equipment at the front door.Silver lining to the experience, a team member named Janey (sp.) at least had the courtesy to come up to me in the parking lot and apologize. She also encouraged me to talk to the rental team in the morning as they usually will be reasonable due to the inconvenience. Thanks Janey. We'll see what happens in the morning.
Blane Rice: Being a native of North Carolina , I was a dedicated shopper of a competitor. Lately I've been shopping at Home Depot since I had a couple of bad shopping experiences at the competitor. I've found HD employees are very helpful at this location and I count on needing some assistance and advice at this kind of store . The availability of products seems better than the competition lately. I think I'm a convert to Home Depot.
Erick Rodriguez: This Home Depot has just about everything in stock that surrounding area locations seem to constantly have out of. I always enjoy this location. Although it feels smaller than most.
John Warren: Great people, great time of day to go! Morning, 10am.
Sal Moolah: The people who work the register are so unfriendly and disrespectful. I remember a time I shopped at Home Depot with my father and it was an adventure. Today, I get the worse customer service.
Ashley Hutchinson: Great
Tom Francisco: There employees are more concerned about call in and online order then taking care of their customers in the store. There employees also like parking close to the store and take up customer parking spots.
Matthew Sharpe: Ordered a dryer and it's supposed to deliver tomorrow. Just got a text saying it has been rescheduled for another week from now. I called and was told it's on back order and nothing I can do about it. I told him they would have known this when I ordered it a week ago, not just the day before it's to be delivered. I'm guessing someone forgot to actually order it.
Steven Shelton: What an unorganized place.
Roger Himmel: The employees are helpful. They will take you to where things are or tell you on what aisle to find the item. A little grungy at times.
Isabella Freeman: The worst customer service experience of my life. I made an online order back in March, it was damaged during shipment and returned to the wearhouse. I had to call and follow up on the order instead of someone contacting me to let me know, refund my money or ship a replacement. When the second order arrived I received no notification. When I called to inquire I did not know I’d be making 3 long phone calls where I was placed on hold for nearly 30 min each time and promised return phone calls that never happened. It’s almost June and I gave up on the whole thing and got my money back. This was absolutely abysmal service and I will never order a product from Home Depot online again.
Jay: No one available to help me after asking several times. There were plenty of employees standing around at registers with few people checking out, but no product specialist to be found. I left and went to another (non-big box) hardware store nearby, where they were very helpful.
V M: Tried to find a special bit for snes'Too specialized for The HD
Adam Arcadipane: This is a nice home Depot but it is a little bit smaller and limited. The worst part of the whole thing is the parking lot. The spots are way too close together. Most of the clientele have trucks. What were they thinking??
Jennifer Jones: LOVE the flowers and seems like they get deliveries almost every day. Staff very friendly and helpful. I think I'm addicted to Home Depot hahaha
RICHmike: Took 50min of being in the store to buy a grill. We stood at the front of the store for 35min waiting on RICH the manager to grace us with his presence to unlock the grill. I'm not sure how this gentlemen ever became a manager. Thank you for the rest of the staff that tried their best to help us. If I were homedepot I would greatly consider retraining RICH on proper customer service. He went so far to say he tried to come to the front, yet my wife stood there waiting the entire time with out him coming.
Randy Overton: I want to give credit to a few employees at this HD location. Shell, manager of Appliances Dept., Diane at the service desk, and Denise in Appliance sales. All three ladies were great to work with in solving a problem my wife and I had with our order and delivery. Shell made sure the delivery manager knew about what happened so it could be corrected. HD is still our go to for Home Improvements. Stock is great also!
Oak Miller: Good location

Lowe's Home Improvement: what do users think?
Michael Dwomoh: Great customer service and awesome choice of products
Daniel Marcus: Whatever you do, DO NOT order appliances from Lowe's.The delivery company usually doesn't call either to confirm the day before or to give a delivery window, calling is a joke; "longer than normal wait times" is the norm, usually over an hour. They broke two dryers in a row by carrying them in incorrectly, until they ran out of replacements and told me I'd have to wait "about a month" for new ones to come in. They also didn't hook up the water line for steam for the dryer even though I specifically asked them before they left if they had (they said yes they had).Even in the store it took 45 minutes to get an associate to get something from a shelf I couldn't reach, having to request help four times before anyone came over and they mixed paint with the wrong finish.Note: Since I can't reply to Lowe's directly, I'll edit here. The reply is a joke to me. The hours, literally, that I have spent on the customer support number because it's ALWAYS understaffed, the fact that they can't even do anything to fix the issues with delivery because it's a third party company and they apparently have no say in the matter, shows they don't really care at all. Don't be fooled by them replying to a few negative reviews with upbeat statements. I've spent hours on the phone with them, and no, I only "resolved" the matter by returning the appliances and buying them somewhere else. Even that was a pain, because the first time the people came to pick them up, they left when I asked that they not walk with their boots on my new carpet, and they don't bring paper, cloth, or shoe covers with them. This is a problem inherent in the careless, dismissive approach Lowe's has chosen to take. Don't take a chance thinking I had a one-off bad experience, read the other reviews. Yes, it's really that bad.
Jenn Zh: I have purchased most of my big-ticket items from Lowe's throughout the years and have been a happy card holder. My recent experience of purchasing a dryer, however, was quite disappointing. The dryer was delivered with a dent. Not only the waiting time on the phone was long (~an hour), the conversation with the associate was confusing and the compensation she offered was equivalent to none. In the end, I was directed to the local store and the store associate hanged up my call by saying transferring me to his manager. Lowe's website doesn't offer any other options to get in contact with the customer service except phone calls that take extremely long waiting time.
valentin figueroa: Returns and pick up, bad services
jeff romano: Good people who work in there if you find the right person you can get some excellent help
James Beers: I had the most enlightening experience at the Grove Barton Road Lowes last night. In the process of building a pathway requiring many pavers and crushed stone I stopped by Lowes to get a truckload. As I was checking out with a dolly full of heavy materials, I was approached by Mario, a Lowes employee. He said, “can I help you load up your truck”. As many times that I have visited the store, this was a first. Wow! In this day and time when I thought there was very little ambition in the work world, Mario’s enthusiasm made me think otherwise. Well done Mario and keep up the great work!!
Edwar Chavarria: Good customer service
Samuel McCloud: Large selection
David Zarzar: Please forgive the texting. I'.I ordered a grill from lowes And spend hundreds of dollars for the grill. When it came there was no grease Pan.I called to try to rectify. The situation and was told they were short staffed even though it was their fault. Assembly and delivery had been paid for. When I did call I was. Told the assistant manager would call me back. This never happened. When I was transferred to the assistant manager The phone went dead. When I called corporate customer service. The hour wait was so long that I had them call me back and still have not heard from them. I am from North Carolina north. And northCarolina's lis a company that I will never shop at again.6hrs later and no call from Paul the assistant manager who I was told would call soon
Jonah Bishop: Not a bad Lowe's location, though the one in Durham off of Fayetteville street is a little nicer. They usually have everything you need.
Margaret Renfranz: Much better than last visit - cleanliness, helpful staff, stock.
Rick Rhoads: Wide selection. Easy access. If it is home improvement related they likely have it.
Nives Antolovic-Stanfel: Good selection of merchandise, but not great customer service.
Badbo Smiles: Kyle P. was and is beyond professional. My father and I were thrilled to have such a polite and honest young man helping us to find and assist with our needs. This employee is a true walking testimony of how management funnels down properly. He showed us patients, professionalism and hard work. I would recommend this store and Kyle for anybody’s home improvement needs. Thank you sir.
S. C.: I went this morning asking for an item two of the employees direct me to defferent locations couldnt find the item i was looking for then i ask a third employee and told me a different aisle so..... i decided to leave.
Chase Keough: Make the doors work both ways. It's infuriating
Pj Nettesheim: It’s a Lowe’s. They have lots of stuff. They do let any and everybody use the toilets tho.
Hillary Patterson: Be prepared to take at least three days off of work to receive delivery if you order from Lowe’s because they come outside of the promised window, they come with broken appliances, they come without calling you. Be prepared go without for an additional two weeks because they don’t communicate well, they are disorganized and their rescheduling mechanism will put you back several days each time.
Stephen Sheriff: Bought a bunch of plants and shrubs. Nice selection
Brad Gold (NCNYChief): It's exactly what you expect from a home improvement super store. Been going to Lowe's for many years.
Pier Komes: Usually has what I need

Lowe's Home Improvement: what do users think?
Tom: False advertisement.Bought dishwasher, web site says pick up in 3 hours or delivered next day. LIE. That was 6 days ago. Store manager says it's not his problem, but the warehouse. He refused to listen to my complaint and transferred me mid-sentence to a number that had me on hold for 20 minutes. I still don't know where the washer is.
Cynthia Holley: Not good service
Fatima Jimenez: Terrible staff! Extremely rude! No people skills they also cuss at customers!!!!!!
Paul Nounderson: Selection and prices good but checkout experience is horrible. No staff -- they've cut them down obviously. Blinking lights, difficult process to self check and no one to help you.
Matt Friedrick: Bought a dryer here, which was delivered with a big dent. They told me I had to talk with the distribution center. I called and spent 2 hours on hold to speak with the distribution center, and then when they finally picked up it was a 2-minute conversation where they said "we'll have someone call you within 24 hours." (Yes, I spent 2 hours waiting, only to be told I need to wait for someone to call me.) It has now been over 24 hours and no one has called. So I've tried calling the Appliances department at this Lowes again to get help and no matter how many times I call or how long I let it ring no one picks up. When I try to route it to the main line, the exact same thing. When I actually go to this Lowes I see employees standing around doing nothing, so it's not that they're so busy they can't help. This is just poor management.Update after Lowe's response below -- I called and finally reached a manager at the store. She told me she would call me back today by 3, but then didn't. It's been over 72 hours since Lowe's "Customer Care" told me they would call me back within 24 hours. I also reached out to Customer Care by email with an explanation of the issue three days ago and got an immediate automated reply about how important customer care is to Lowe's, but of course no actual reply or resolution ever since. Lowe's has given me the number below, which I've called again, but wait times are 30 minutes, and I'm not willing to go through the same unhelpful set of calls I've been making yet again. Instead of giving me phone numbers and making empty statements about how important customer service is to you, how about just answering the phone when I call any number associated with Lowe's or, you know, just calling me back like I've been promised multiple times? (Want to have some fun? Call the Investor Relations number on Lowe's corporate website. It rings and rings without anyone picking up, and then it goes to voicemail but then it says "this voicemail box is full and cannot accept any more messages." That's the **Investor Relations** line!) The ONLY way I've gotten any kind of response is by putting Lowe's on public blast here. Lowe's, please just pick up the phone and actually care for your customers.
Keshia C.: This is an excellent place to shop but, not enough help when getting things locked up to purchase.
Heather Herrera: Jessica in tools was amazing!! Appreciate her thoroughness and assistance.
They also didn't hook up the water line for steam for the dryer even though I specifically asked them before they left if they had (they said yes they had).
zoe gonzalez: Disappointment i went an look for somenthing that they said it was in the store but they didn't also the price was up,the person that was helping me didn't know what he was doing.
BETTY BOYD: I love Lowes!
Jose Ines: Super
Mark S: Do not order appliances. It has been one issue after another with this lowes store. When you call the store for help they hang up on you. The customer service number tells me the store has to call me back within 24 hours and yet no call back. Still waiting for a washer I paid for and only received the dryer. Nothing but bad experiences for the last 30 days trying to get my order. I will never be ordering anything I cant just buy in the store from Lowes. Very frustrating.
Laurie Janzen: Ordered a grill in early May that was delivered improperly assembled. Spent 2 months calling to get it fixed and finally gave up. Worst experience ever.
Tiffany Messer-Bass: I ordered a portable air conditioner for pickup at another Lowe’s location. I got the product home (in Raleigh) and discovered someone had kicked the box and therefore, damaged the front of the AC unit. No problem. I can just exchange it, right? Apparently not. I took the item into the Capital Blvd location and did my due diligence. I had the product. I had my receipt ready. I go to the return counter and I’m told Lowe’s doesn’t do exchanges. Just refunds. The refund will take 5-10 business days according to my bank. As a result, we have no air conditioning in late June in Raleigh, NC. Today’s high is 87 with a “RealFeel” of 101. This “no exchange” policy is going to have us roasting for days. When I checked inventory before entering the store, there were 22 identical products available. An even exchange would have saved us a lot of (feels like literal) hell and headache and the store would have still had plenty of stock to sell for that item. Moral of the story: When your central air kicks the bucket and you look for temporary solutions while you consider your options, Lowe’s doesn’t allow exchanges on defective items. Whenever that refund finally processes, Lowe’s won’t be getting that money back. I’m going to spend it in support of a local business that needs it more. They’re more likely to understand customer needs.
John Merriman: Lowe’s delivery is the worst ever. I was promised my material in 5 days and after day 7 I was told it would arrive in 7 days (9 days late). Unacceptable!
Tom Bolton: I wanted a replacement garbage disposal. No one around, so I got what I wanted off the shelf. Tried customer service to set install, they sent me to appliance desk. Waited my turn, then waited while two others were "helped ". Finally, one employee tried for 40 minutes to set up installation and couldn't ever do it. Another staff member was ignored his efforts for help. I left the store . Waste of time to have gone to Lowe's today
Gloria Smith: Went to buy something to fill my pots.. did not have the clearance like the Zebulon store, but found a few nice things..
hitlel lopez: Buen servicio
rigit fpv: Came to get a dishwasher, walked all of the back of the store and No one available to help. Went to the front they call on the speaker. Nothing. Got tired of waiting so I left.
schin62: I went in for a fridge but I needed a smaller size than the trend these days (i.e. most of the "normal" fridges are too big for my space, at least the french door style is). So I was unable to find one in the store that I liked and would fit in my current space set up. The ones I did find online and went to see if they had, were not available or in network...Despite my challenges finding a fridge that would work for me the staff was nice and helpful. They tried finding a fridge in the style I wanted but we're unable to as mentioned before the smaller fridges in the newer styles are not as common. The store had a variety of options as well.I didn't really look at too much else while I was there but the store looked clean. The parking lot is big so no issues with finding a spot to park in.
Joseph Griffin: Excellent people working there and very helpful, I highly recommend 👌🏾

Ferrellgas: what do users think?
Josh Brubaker: The new call center approach to taking phone calls is absolutely terrible.
Ballard Bishop: This was an exceptional service and the employee was knowledgeable, courteous and went above and beyond to provide just the right amount of gas without overfilling. Thank you for having such great employees!!!
Daniel Swenberg: Terrible service. Drivers can’t manage gate instructions they never call you, deliveries routinely delayed by weeks. they never show up on time. And regional manager is extremely rude. Shameful
tbj: Excellent job, professional
Terry Duff: Delivery was soon after the order was placed and our delivery man was in and out and we are set for the cold.
Pat Lawson: I thought there was a small leak in my tank, but nothing major. They were there within minutes!
Phillip Jones: Nice people at the office and including the delivery people. Prompt service.
Lal Shimpi: My delivery is set for tomorrow! 10/12/2022
CJ Orr: I did not grow up using propane so I do not have a high comfort level with a tank near the house. For several years I used a small family owned business to provide my propane gas. Over time, my tank began to look shabby and I was a bit concerned about its overall integrity. While I love the idea of supporting small and local businesses my perception of the tank condition was a major factor in why I switched to a bigger company.I decided to switch to Ferrellgas for several reasons; The employees are trained in safe handling of propane, the national wide distribution for the company means that there will be no shortages, they paint the tank on request, they have the proper equipment to move the tank, the company sends out timely information. . . . What I have now is piece of mind.
J Tubbs: Ferrellgas charges extra fee's which others don't like hazmat, etc. These $30-$40 add up and they are NOT required by the state. Don't use them if you can.
Ron Spencer: Offered a great price for first fill. I just checked gauge and its not at 80% so I called. Was explained to me that they stop, as they should, when the expansion valve starts to "spit". Makes perfect sense. Was told I have a credit. Asked why I wasn't informed. Contact person said didn't driver leave a ticket? No, no ticket left. Hard to know to ask for a refund if you don't know you have one.
Jody Bagwell: Gayle in the call center is not helpful at all and is rude. Moved into a home recently with LP gas. Called to set up a tank fill. First time in a home with an LP tank so I did not have much information at all and the tank is underground. She was not helpful. I’ll be calling another company to help.
Jon Acton: I received a text picture that the truck had blocked in my wife when refilling our tank. My wife had to leave at that time for a dr. appt for our son. I work in the service industry and this is not what should happen when serving a home
Whitney Rowe-Heldt: Closed the door in our face saying they were closed 15 minutes before they were actually closed. Never doing business here again.
Scott Tice: I called to set up service to an existing propane tank and Cindy was very helpful and pleasant. She thoroughly explained all the billing, fees and options. If the rest of their staff is only half as good at their job as Cindy is then I'm sure I'll be extremely pleased.
Jesse Talley: Scheduled a time for delivery and made a point to ask for specific day so that I could be courteous and put my dogs up since that has been an issue in the past. Delivery was not made because the driver could not find my tank because it is located behind a bush. I have been a customer for 5 years and the previous homeowners were also customers! My tank has not been moved! Since the driver's number was not local, I ignored his call and I did not receive propane. Rescheduled and was told a new date of a week later. I put my dogs up on that day, no delivery, next day same story. Driver finally showed up two days later and called about my dogs. Thankfully he was able to deliver my propane without a problem with my dogs. Although my dogs are not vicious, I understand that everyone does not like dogs or feels threatened by them, so I made a point to work with the company to insure there were no problems. I could not have anticipated the issue with the driver finding my tank. If I would have not thought ahead and ordered propane when my tank was at 30%, I probably would have run out of propane during the recent cold weather. From the first time I ordered, 2 weeks went by before the propane was delivered! That is unacceptable! This is not the first issue I have had with this company. A few years ago, I had a gas leak that they could not find and went around and around to come to some resolution with that potentially very dangerous situation. It seems like I have issues with every delivery.
John Evanoff: Bob Barrett and his crew went beyond what was expected in helping to resolve a problem with excess pressures building up in gas lines feeding emergency generators on the toll road. They determined that the initial install was not properly done and after receiving different and conflicting specifications from manufacturer, they persistently pursued to resolve the situation. I am extremely grateful for their persistence and repeated follow up to make sure all is operating properly.
Katherine Cornette: Wow! Great service! I not only had my tank filled within 24 hours of call but Zach helped me get the pilot light on and the unit ready for winter. They check for leaks and made sure tank and lines were working.
Assoumi Assoumi: the ferrellgas is good company at least they dont have hiding fees and they came install the tank on time very fast and on time,,,and they give me a good deal for switching
Zach Cox: We have had two experiences with Ferrellgas. The first was when they came out to our home and installed a single tank that enabled gas logs in our fireplace, that worked out great and when we used the gas logs they worked just fine. Our second was just a few days ago when we noted on a small (10lb) propane tank we got for our camping stove that it needed to be 'purged' as part of the first filling. We called Ferrellgas and they said to come over, drop it off and pick it back up in a day or so.We did and it was ready the next day and the charge was only what they would normally charge for 3 gallons of propane. They are very friendly and professional and we recommend them. And they gave us a good place to go to get the refills in the future, which do not require any purging.
Andy Dufresne: Has to be one of the worst propane companies out there. SWITCH as soon as you can! They overcharge for the product, slap in hidden fees ( fuel surcharge/hasmat, ect...). Shop around and find a reputable local company .

Northern Tool + Equipment: what do users think?
Tom Williams: Great experience!
Kris: This five stars goes to Larry May- he was so kind, personable, and efficient. He doesn’t give off sleazy salesman vibes, but rather your friendly neighborhood tradesman that understands tools & the store well! However, I would like to give the manager 1 star. Not only would he not come speak to me when I was inquiring about two floor models of three Milwaukee purchases I was making. He refused to go down in price, when these floor models were dusty and just sitting there. He missed out on a huge sale tonight. If it wasn’t for Larry- we probably would of already left.
Todd Thomas: It is very dark in this store. You almost need a flashlight to find anything. There are never many employees around if you need any help. This store is stocked and a bit more organized than the store in Cary.
Duncan Nelson: Horrific customer service. Service department failed to notify me of potential repairs, performed unauthorized repairs, and attempted to charge me for said repairs. This repair was for faulty parts they installed previously, they claim the parts were different.Manager was extremely rude and combative.
Barry Thomas: Great website.
Jim Halstead: Excellent service. Very nice people.
S. C.: Great place LOTS of selection at a descent price
Michael Lovell: Buy all my STIHL equipment here. Good service good selection.
Bill Durham: If you look for a tool online and come in to buy it, it will be almost twice the price. Good luck getting help with a question.
Joel Keefer: This place has just about everything.
Kay Cee: If I could give 0 stars I would. Today was an absolutely terrible experience! I presented my paper receipt to return a pressure washer I bought for commercial use that was not designed for it. The cashier Hassan was rude, loud, and very nasty. He told me several times that my item was not eligible for return until I read the back of my receipt out loud. He then proceeded to yell at me in front of other customers and angrily continued to ask why I wanted to return it. He needs to be fired. I’m sure this is not the first complaint about him and his lack of customer service.
Keshia C.: Great place to shop, the manager Hussain was very lovely with assisted with the work tools needed.
Ken Caughron: Have not been n some time but store was nice the last time that I was there
Seve Rina: Good deals.
michael boykin: Small parking lot like all of the store, staff are great, they are problem solvers.
Johnny Martinez: Great Stock clerk and great Service from the cashier keep up the good work guys.
Jack Marshall: Quality type supplies for tools in the Raleigh NC area
Professor Lugnuts: A great place to get good tools at a good price. Their sales and coupons are awesome!
Ryan Keith: Easy on-line shopping experience with either in-store pick up or delivery options. Thank you.
Carl Slack: Shopped at this location several times and always been a pleasant experience.
JOSE RODRIGUEZ: EVERYTHING I BUY THERE IS VERY USEFUL AND OF EXCELLENT QUALITY. THE STAFF DOES NOT HIDE AND KNOWS THE PRODUCTS AND OPTIONS.

Westlake Ace Hardware: what do users think?
Rich Earley: Great service, 3 to 4 people asked if I needed help. I bought a BBQ grill.
Maggie “Myst1kFlame” Sanders: Didn't spend a lot of time here, however the employees were very friendly and knowledgeable.
David Ross: Well stocked
Denise Rhodes: The best place to get helpful advice, service and quality. We needed stain and sealer for our privacy fence. Called ahead, stain was mixed and ready when we arrived. Other times we've been, staff was extremely helpful in assisting us with advice on a project, or finding just the right clamp or hook. Yes, usually a little more expensive than Lowes or HD, but cannot beat the service.
Caleb Whitmore: Not a good Ace location. I’ve really been enjoying shopping at Ace lately as they are usually super helpful, well staffed, and have good inventory and a good app. I’ve shopped this store in the past, having spent several thousand dollars at it. However today was an extremely disappointing experience.I needed a particular item, an Ooni pizza oven table. I went onto the Ace Hardware app and searched for stores in the area that had it available. The app said this store had it in stock. So, I drove 30 minutes each way to get to the store to buy this item. On arrival at the store, I found a staff member and asked for help finding the item in the box so that I can purchase it. They searched and came back and said that there were none available. I pointed to the floor model and asked, is this one available for sale? To which they said no, we can’t sell floor models.I’ve never met a store that doesn’t want to sell something to a customer, when it’s in the store and available, and the customers they’re wanting to pay for it. let alone a case where the stores on technology said the item was available for purchase, and a customer drove all the way there to go purchase it.I’m sure they get new inventory in all the time, and could simply set up a new floor model once a new item came in.The idea that they would not honor what’s in their App’s inventory that is made available to their customers to search and find is absolutely absurd. I was advised to call ahead in the future to make sure something is available. Well, I can understand the staff’s desire to try to help, and they were very polite, but something is very broken with either management at the store, or Ace Hardware’s corporate technology that they would allow a situation where it says something is in stock and available, it is available at the store, yet they aren’t allowed to actually sell it to a customer, money in hand ready to purchase.Unfortunately, thanks to this experience, I won’t be back to shop at this or any other Ace Hardware anytime soon.
David Price: The staff is top-notch. Everyone is very friendly and helpful!
Lawrence Cole: Great hardware store, friendly people fair prices!
Emanuel Davis: Went to have key made senior person wasn't interested in helping me
Leigh Holloway: Incredibly helpful staff. Lance spent significant time with us to help make a decision on a yard equipment purchase that fit our budget and set us up for success. We were so appreciative!
Makeit Talk: store does not take apple pay in 2023 1 cashier was not friendly and said he could not check me out cause his hands were oily😑 while the other cashier was nice and polite apple pay is something they don’t except. door greeter was nice.
Ann Thornton: Friendly helpful staff!
Ren Pridgeon: Had keys made. Quick and friendly service.
Dan dV: If you walk in and you need some help fixing something broken in your house, the service provided by some of the staff varies Widely...... I have met some not-so-helpful staff at this Ace Hardware. On the other hand, some are really capable and helpful.
David Edwards: I am here around twice monthly and never been disappointed. Staff is friendly and helpful and they often have hard to find household repair parts. Best ACE in the area!
Mai Mclean: NICE and cleaned.and got everything needed when I came for.
Clifford Graham: Awesome place. The people there are very helpful and friendly.
Brad Winkler: Has all the items a big box store has with customer service as a plus!
L C: My go-to hardware and bird supplies store! Everybody here is always super friendly and helpful!
Mark: Been to this location several times and always experience great customer service.
Ramon Levine: The staff is always helpful and knowledgeable. Always someone to help you find what you need.
Josh Fasola: This place is great for a quick trip to the hardware store, even if you're not quite sure what you're looking for. The staff is easy to find, there is always someone close to the door to greet you. I've gotten in the habit of offering my greeting then simply stating the item I am looking for. If I need help with the specific item, the staff member that greets me can help or will quickly locate someone who can be of more help. I've never left this store disappointed with my experience. For sheer volume of stock go to a big store, especially if you know what you are looking for. If you want some friendly help and maybe a brief introduction to some of the finer points of your project or chore, Westlake Ace Hardware is the place to go!
