Zach Wright: Amazing chain (Only in NC but very local feel) and very friendly service. High quality meet with good prices. Lunch is a treat here with made to order sandwiches with boars head deli meats. I'd recommend the steak sandwich!
P. Cope: Butcher’s Market is our favorite meat market! The staff is friendly and eager to help, even when busy. Everything is fresh and and delicious, whether cooking on the grill or stovetop. They have delicious sides as well. When we don’t feel like cooking we order from their sandwich menu. 💜

Sarah van Doornewaard: Today I visited for the first time. I was not greeted. I stood at the counter for a bit and there were people acting like they were working, but not really working. They did not address me, and would not look in my direction. I finally put my order in which was a Chicken Salad Sandwich with chips. The chicken was not shredded very well. It was an OK sandwich, but for $11 I expect better. The bread was pretty tough to bite through, the cheese looked like it was sitting out for awhile. I would have given 3 stars, but the lack of customer service deserves a 1
Noel Harrison: Visited the Raleigh store Saturday with my husband to purchase a cut of meat for 8 people. Employee talked us into a cut, raving about its tenderness and how tasty it was. It was not good. Full of fat and grizzle. So disappointing for our guests, plus we spent $$$$ for it. Not happy at all.

j m: Ive always loved this place. Used to only go for the to go menu sandwiches and then started shopping here BUT today I went for a pastrami sandwich and it was so dissapointing. You pay $12 for a pastrami sandwich with one slice of pastrami!!, provolone when i requested white american and no chips or fries and the sanndwich had more crispy onion than anything. I didnt order a crispy onion sandwich😢Not fair. Will not be ordering againUpdate: I went to get the pastrami meal as promised by Butchers Market and it was extremely great. Thank you Butchers Market for making things right. It was stuffed with Pastrami, juicy and tasty. Will be back for sure

Bryan Lloyd: Look, I love your guy’s sandwiches, but the lack of consistency with getting what I ordered is frustrating. I would estimate about 1/3rd of the time I order a sandwich, it’s not exactly the same as the previous time I ordered. For example, tried your steak and cheese for first time a couple months ago. Loved it! The one on the hoagie roll, like a Philly cheesesteak. Ordered it a few times, no problem, same thing.Now the last two times I order, I get something completely different! On some weird fancy brioche or something, with all this sauce I didn’t order. Then the other, there’s warm lettuce and tomatoes on the Philly-like cheesesteak. Like wut? I didn’t order that.The food is still good but it’s not what I wanted and ordered. Consistency is key with a restaurant or sandwich shop, and I just don’t ever know what I’m gonna get when I order from here.

The guy reached in and pulled out two filets and put them on the scale. Yes, I paid for 1.2 pounds of meat or about 33% more than I ask for. YES--I will pay attention in the future!

I have bought goat shoulder from other places, and it looked nothing like what I got for Jerusalem Meat Market. His meat quality is poor; full of fat! I will NOT buy from him again.
Geej: This place has excellent meat! I got a whole 30 LB slab of Wagyu beef for only $5! It was perfectly marbled and dry aged. Honestly I saw a Buzzfeed video on what meat is the best and they said Wagyu and I just HAD to have it. Thankfully Al Noore in the back hooked me up. Ask for him yall!!!!!!!

Sachin Hiwale: The guy is arrogent and will keep you waiting while he chats with his close customers. Several times this butcher has sold lamb in the name of goat. Since, there is suttle difference between the two Jerusalem butcher is fooling people.

Rebeka Kulakevich: If you want fresh meat for an incredible price, this is the way to go. I drove 40 minutes to get some lamb for Christmas dinner, and I was not disappointed. The meat was fresh, everything seemed to be clean, and the customer service was outstanding. I will most definitely come back. The Jerusalem market next door is also great! Worth the travel!

He offered other information as far as what they had as well which I found very helpful! I will be going by there this weekend to check it out and purchase some meat to make my tacos!
Sun Rise: I love Spanish ( from Spain) style chorizo. Their homemade “Longaniza” is a the most delicious chorizo I have ever tried. Try it, you will not regret it. The place is spotless. I am so glad I tried it.

I've been going here for several years now, and never left disappointed. Get anything you like. My personal favorite great bang for the buck is the quesadilla ( I prefer the steak but the chicken is just as good.) Also check out their signature green jalapeno sauce. Pro tip, they sell the sauce in containers too. Get it, it's amazing.Extra hungry? The bagged tostida chips are made in house and awesome if thin enough, sometimes when they're a little too thick it makes out for a hard bite.

To shop with as well as lean on and was denied ! I ordered food and the order was wrong and had to be made over because the stall doesn't speak English ! A fellow patron interpreted for me ! How ever the food was excellent ! It was seasoned well, cooked well and tasted authentic !

Cacia: I live in the area and shop here often because it’s close and the food is good. Every time I come, I have a different experience. It’s either really good or really bad. There’s times I’ve come in and they were helpful and friendly. My most recent visit was the absolute worst! I was with 2 friends, who were also ordering food and we were all ignored for about 5 minutes of standing by the order counter. The cashier walked up and even served someone else before us. We ordered our food (shrimp burrito) & he told us they aren’t able to make it, even though I had gotten it several times before. The staff began talking and laughing between each other in Spanish before the cashier reluctantly decided they would make it for us. I spoke to him about the way we were treated upon entering and he didn’t respond. He even suggested I try the place next door instead. I won’t ever be going back.

I grew up in a small neighborhood with a local butcher. We used to go here and get fresh meats and local grocery items. The place I knew is long gone and replaced with chains. The Meat House has really brought me back to that local feel. This place is amazing and their meat selection is unbelievable. The butchers here are very friendly and welcoming. You can also ask for items that aren't on display, such as selections of fresh lamb cuts or pork belly slabs and they'll cut it fresh, or order it if its not in stock.They are always open to answering questions and giving advice on food prep and cooking, as well as giving you ideas for a meal. Great place and worth the extra cost.
Daniel Wuliger: If you’re not getting your meat here, you’re missing out. Service is always amazing! Food is always beyond what you could imagine fresh could be. I mean, aside from their tender and delicious fry aged beef. I am going to have them provide my turkeys this year. Last year they provided me with a 5 pound prime rib roast. Amazing!!!
Robert Adams: A disappointing trip to the Butcher's Market. First, it had no whole roasting chickens except possibly in the freezer. That's not my idea of a butcher shop. Secondly, the meat clerk had no idea what a fresh pork ham was. Okay, I'll give a break;a lot of people don't although I would think a specialty meat store clerk would. Guy#2 appears and after I explain what I wanted, he says they don't have that. Now, in this discussion, I didn't detect any overt rudeness but I got a definite vibe that he thought I was wasting his time. Just not friendly, helpful, or sympathetic. Sort of soured me on the Butcher's Market.

Justine D'Aquila: So I normally love the Butchers market but the last 2 time have been making me recheck my receipts. the first time my mil was charged twice for 1 ribeye. the second time they mislabeled the potato salad and charged her$300 for it. the manager was very nice and refunded the money but it makes me think how many other times we were charged wrong. However we have never had a bad piece of meat or any other food from there. Just double check your receipts.

It was like turkey on dry bread.And the Italian fell apart as as you ate it cause the bread was so stale!With today's prices for food..this was a BIG disappointment! And a big waste of money!

I love how they put the chicken inside a plastic bag then inside paper so chicken juice does get allllll over!!!The sirloins, chicken breasts, crab cakes, asparagus, macaroni salad and so much more is absolutely wonderful!They also have super high % alcohol!!!We go twice a week. Only place we buy our meat.

Amanda Dickinson: The meat is the best meat you can get but only 4 stars bc the sandwiches were plain and not very good I also requested my sandwich made a certain way and that was disregarded so it was disappointing paying 14 bucks for a sandwich and it being mediocre.

Kelly Vernon: Such a great option in transfer food hall!Hot Italian is SO GOOD. Meats are spicy and high quality, as they are in all their offerings. The Mortadella cheesesteak also a delicious sandwich, just might need to be ready for a nap afterwards.The butters, salads, cheeses in the case are perfect for take home, along w the beautiful selection of meats and frozen things. And they have pork skin dog treats!The staff is always super friendly and informative when I have questions about cooking a piece of meat or the proper method to finishing steaks w (bone marrow) butter!Give them a try. They’ve got awesome large sandwiches and the small Sammy’s are great for trying a bite of everything!
Annie McKay: From the staff to the sandwiches and the pasta to the pimento cheese - it’s all exceptional.Headed to friends for dinner and need to take something? They have AMAZING to-go charcuterie spreads. Their pimento cheese should be outlawed it’s so good and do yourself a favor and grab a rosemary sea salt focaccia to take home with you - the only regret you’ll have is that you didn’t get two.

Kirsten Ostrea: my boyfriend got the mortadella, but they failed to mention that the meat has pistachios in it. he has a nut allergy so it would’ve been great if they had any allergy warning on the menu or mention it when he ordered but they didnt. in the glass display it does say that it has nuts but its not very obvious.

Leslie Jones-Bennett: Purchased the bacon sausage. We are addicted. So delicious. Also bought a cake sized loaf of bread with salt crystals on top. So yummy and the best bread I have ever had. Have 2 salamis which we haven't tried yet. Very friendly workers. We will be back very soon. The best charcuterie in the Raleigh area.

Kids City: Great sandwich poor customer service! Wish they were a little more inviting. Customer service is so important! Also side note if someone places a TO-GO order like the hot Italian. Please provide a bag as the oils do leak and well I’m sure no one would want oil stains in their car!

Trevor Jones: Pretty disgusting experience. I watched a guy behind the counter eating bites of food over the meal prep area with his bare hands as I placed my order. To my disappointment, I watched him put his mask back on after the last bite, and make my sandwich without washing his hands. This is food prep 101, don’t put your fingers in your mouth then touch the food you are prepping for others. Unacceptable behavior and all trust lost.Really upsetting too because I was excited to try all the different things Alimentari offers, seems like a great concept and people seem to love the food.

Consistently amazing quality and customer service across all stores in the past 3 years that I have been a customer. Anytime we have guests in town we get the Maple Bourbon Steak tips and they never disappoint. My parents are currently visiting and are heading home with multiple prepackaged marinated steaks to take home, freeze and enjoy!
Anthony Johnson: I came in the other day with my son to purchase a steak. After initially being greeted and asking if I knew what I wanted when I had literally just walked up to the case I could not receive service. I stood there for probably 5+ minutes made eye contact with multiple employees obviously needing service but no one wanted to take the time. Considering there was 5 employees in the building and only two customers. Very disappointing.

I've had their pimento cheese, macaroni salad, meats, and wine.I love that they focus on locally grown items. Michael Easter: We shop here weekly and eat their chicken, beef, and pork at least 5 times a week. Their product and customer service is excellent! But after this recent experience I needed to write a review. All products have been excellent from day one. My wife makes sausage balls every year for the family gatherings. We usually use regular grocery store sausage but this year the stores happened to be out. She had the thought to try Butchers Market to see if they made sausage as well. It was phenomenal. They were better than they've ever been. The sausage was fresh and well seasoned. It was so much better than regular grocery store brands. I really don't know why I am surprised as all their other products are as well. Just wanted to give a quick shout out to the team at the Wake Forest location. You guys rock! We have used several locations, including Wilmington, but you guys are top notch. Keep it up and Happy Holidays!!
