Hunter Reese: I first went to this shop in 2016 on a grad school tour in 2016. That first trip was so fun and so delectable that whenever I need a small gift for an adult, I go here. Pick me up for the husband? Go here. Thank you for a coworker's help? A box of 4 bonbons is perfect.Chocolate is always good, and this unique, local spot brings something special to the Triangle. B: An interesting idea but leaves a bit to be desired. The chocolate factory tour is basically just a small hallway you walk down in the back with glass windows to see the equipment. The soft serve was very expensive for a TINY amount of it. This place isn’t something I would go out of my way for, and certainly wouldn’t recommend as a tourist stop.

Only reason I’m giving them 4 stars is because we bought a bunch of stuff and were never offered samples. As we waited for our ice cream others were given samples. I would have liked to try other flavors. I might have bought more. I’d come back they have a nice outdoor seating area.
Makeda Phoenix: Videri is great, a community staple. Their chocolate is sold at many different local establishments. Towards the back of the store you can get a good look at where they make the chocolate. This was our first time getting the soft serve, which was amazing. We got this cute lil chocolate cowboy hat for rounding up our purchase to support the LGBTQ center.
Shalin Rathi: You can have a quick tour of their chocolate manufacturing process and understand the steps involved from getting pods to making chocolate. They provide samples of all the different varieties of chocolates they have. Loved the vesta, and the double shot sipping cup.

ryan edward: The workers were nice and friendly and I almost want to leave 2 stars on that alone, but the chocolate is the worst chocolate I've ever had in my life. My girlfriend and I were given recommendations on some of their popular bon-bons and chocolate flavors and we hated every piece we took home. With how expensive the chocolate is you'd expect something nice but the cheapest chocolate bar at walmart tastes better than what we had.I hope based on the other reviews that those were just particularly bad seasonal flavors, but I can't justify giving anything other than 1 star for expensive bland chocolate.

Dawn Wick: Staff was very nice but they didn't necessarily deliver on the description listed on the website. One example is that glass of wine was included but 11 people were expected to share 1 bottle of wine. When asked if there was another bottle we were told we could purchase an additional bottle. Everything is priced per person so those things like that are disappointing. There were more but that was the main one.

Sarah was a wonderful host; we were fortunate to have her for a chocolate tour guide the first time around, too! Her upbeat personality added to the enjoyment of the evening. This is a wonderful option for a special date night or for a group of friends who want to have an evening of fun. The shop is cute, and the chocolate is delicious. Without a doubt worth a stop!

Amber Apostol: I've always looked forward to The Chocolate Boutique stop on the wine walk. They have a wide variety of chocolates and have some creative options. I like that they have samples due to price. Rarely, but sometimes I have given something a try, like orange chocolates and wasn't the biggest fan. In general, anything I buy from here doesn't last too long at home, because everyone wants a bite. I love when they have cutesy, Instagram-worthy dog chocolates. My dogs always gobble them up right away.The friendliness of staff can be hit or miss, but I'd still love to try one of their chocolate classes or date nights.

April Williams: Visited the Chocolate Boutique today for the first time. The store is an interesting place to stop. Lots of chocolates to indulge in. They also have bourbon and whiskey filled chocolates. There are sodas and ice cream for purchase as well. Everything looks delicious and has very nice packaging. There are also some selections of wines to pair with your chocolates. The one critique is that there were 2 staff sitting at a table behind the checkout area chatting that never greeted or spoke to us.

My friends and I used to go to the one in Richmond VA before it closed down, and we decided to make the drive down to this one. They have a good assortment of chocolates, hard candies, sodas, and other items (lots of stuff you might remember from childhood). The service left a bit to be desired but was okay.

And so many current favorites (many that are hard to find anywhere else. Really cool, unique gifts too! They are the ONLY place in Raleigh that carries Shirley Temples!! I also sincerely appreciate how kind the employees are. Never unhappy that the kids are looking at everything. Always happy to share what things taste like if you're wondering. We immediately were amazed by how much soda and cute candies they had! Also candies that we haven’t had since we were kids. We were so excited to find two mystery bags, one was “orange” themed and the other was “aquatic” themed! They really hit the mark with those mystery bags, we were SO happy with them that we decided to go back the next day for another mystery bag that we hadn’t bought the first day. But when we got there, the last mystery bag had already been sold. The employee graciously offered that she would make us two more bags. It was almost closing time, so we didn’t want to be a bother, but she insisted. Her customer service was amazing!! She made up two different mystery bags for us (one was fruity themed, and the other was rocky road themed) and she was just overall really great and knowledgeable about their products too. She answered all of our questions too. We left and went straight home to open our bags and they were even better than our first round of bags! I didn’t catch her name, but whatever employee was working Wednesday around closing time, we wanted to say thank you so much!!! You really went above and beyond. We are so appreciative of your kind soul ❤️❤️

Deanna: We brought our family and spent approximately $240 for our dinner. We needed 15 seats near each other. There was one table that had a couple of dirty plates on it, but the table was clean, so my daughter moved them to the next table to seat our children and was then going to hand them to the waitress. The waitress asked if there was a tip beside the plates and my daughter told her no. The waitress then had the nerve to say under her breath, "There better not have been". She assumed wrongly that she could not be heard and insinuated my daughter stole her tip. So instead of apologizing, she apparently thought it was a better idea to argue with my daughter about it. Needless to say, it upset my daughter even further. We are not the type of people to automatically scream RACISM, but truly, we feel like this was the case as the young lady was being discriminatory against us. She then took it upon herself to go to each employee she could find to plead her case and she did it in front of other patrons, seemingly trying her best to embarrass our family. The manager did not appear to have reprimanded her and we had to demand a different waitress, who might I add, did receive a hefty tip when we were finished dining. When we were leaving, my daughter asked the manager for the district managers phone number. She tried her best not to give it to us, as she felt she had handled our problem well, which she did not. Needless to say, that's the last time we will ever go back.

Two pans of burnt bacon pieces sat on the buffet the whole time we were there !! How about just better quality and less quantity !!#2 We had to actually go get a server and beg for water. Lauren Blackwell: Best 👏cake 👏in 👏town! This has been my go to spot for a chocolate fix for as long as I can remember. Their slices of delicious decadent cake are humongous and perfect for sharing. My personal favorites are the chocolate raspberry and the lemon blueberry.

Russell Mierop: Hayes Barton is the best restaurant and dining atmosphere I believe I have been to. Our server, Hannah, if I remember correctly was fantastic and took great care of us. She even took care of us getting a few slices of cake, which is saying something at 8 pm on Saturday.All the food was excellent, especially the mussel's and linguine.Thank you all for a fantastic evening.

Paul Kelker: Paid 200+ And tip for a full set and lashes were falling out and shedding the whole way home in bunches. I texted before I got home and she said oh that’s weird and was defensive that I must have rubbed them(I did not). She never offered to re-apply them and didn’t answer when I asked her to eventho it was still an inconvenience to me to come back.It has now not even been a full week and they are almost all gone -literally I have about 2 lashes on each eye. Zero customer care. I have been getting lash extensions for YEARS(just moved here and tried her first) and I know very well how to care for them and that this is NOT normal. A little customer care and concern would have gone a long way. Will not be back. Waste of money and lack of care for loyal clients.

She is meticulous, thorough, fast and provides top notch service to her clients. I get compliments on my lashes daily.....all thanks to her!!! She takes her time to explain home care and maintenance so you can get the full amount of time with them. Ive never had any shed before my 2 week period, and I love to brush my lashes! So thats saying a lot. If you want beautiful lashes and for them to stay and also, keep your natural lashes safe then Kevie at Eye Candy Lash Bar is your destination. You will be glad you made this choice!!

Megan Stevens: I had a full set applied 10 days ago, a mixture of classic and volume lashes at my request for an upcoming wedding. Having had lash extensions before, I requested an incredibly full set and vocalized my willing to pay more money for more time/lashes. Upon leaving the lashes looked beautiful but I could still see my natural lashes where no extension was applied. Knowing I had already scheduled a fill-in appointment I moved past that. However, within days, the extensions were simply falling off. I texted Kevie about my disappointment and concern to cancel my fill-in because honestly at the rate they were shedding, there was no way I would make it to 3 weeks for a fill with any lashes on. Her response? “Oh no! That’s so weird. Sorry to hear that though.” with no other response, or offer to repair the extensions, or to discount a fill-in, whatever. I feel scammed after paying $150 for a full set of lashes that are now entirely gone after 10 days. This is unusual and I would caution anyone concerned with lash longevity and customer service to look elsewhere.
