Alison Wood: Avoid this place if the furniture isn’t in stock and has to be ordered. You will never get it!!! This place was recommended by a friend. I had never heard of Furniture Market Wearhouse. But, decided to check it out due to the recommendation. I found some furniture I liked and I purchased bedroom furniture in May 2021. 2 nightstands and a dresser. I was told it would take up to 4 months for delivery. September came and passed (4 months). No furniture. I contacted them via email. They told me they would speak with the manufacturer and get back with me. I contacted them again (as they never got back with me) Still no response. By now it’s the end of November 2021 and they won’t respond to me. Due to the shortage of furniture and Christmas coming up, I give them some more time to get me my furniture. We get to January 2022. And, no one will respond to me and update me on what is going on. I had to threaten them with legal action to get a response!! They still didn’t know when the furniture would arrive!! So, I asked for a refund. They finally refunded me my money in March 2022. Almost 1 YEAR since I placed my order. Furniture Market Wearhouse really disappointed me. Their customer service is terrible! I will never go there again!

Zach Markel: Originally bought a bedroom suite in November 2020. It was delivered February 2021. (I understand shortages, Covid,Blah blah). The dressers that were delivered were damaged. One drawer was broken, multiple brackets were broken as well. Chips in the paint everywhere! The delivery people were nice and filed a claim. We were told multiple times that our new furniture was on its way. Here we are February 2022, still no furniture. Each time we call we get a complete BS excuse. At this point we just want a refund, but customer service is completely incompetent. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE! Total waste of money.

Susan Madenspacher: I read about their current sale on Facebook, and as we had decided to purchase a new couch, we went to check them out. Although the store was difficult to find, and not well marked outside, we did finally make it, after calling for better directions. The warehouse is large, and well organized into sections - couches, bedrooms, dining room, etc. No hard sell here, they greet you and direct you to the area you want, and kindly answer any questions. It's not a fancy showroom, ie: Lazy Boy or Rooms to Go, but they had a pretty good selection of sofas, and with a little haggling on the price, we came home with the one we wanted. They do not deliver, but have business cards for someone who will. They did help us load up unto our pickup, which we appreciated. Give them a try. Hint: the warehouse is not visible from the road, but if you can find Burger King, they're in the strip mall located behind them.
sunisa phanomnives: I would not recommend this place for anyone. We had the worst experiences from this place. First, we purchase the sectional from them early October last year and received them around mid December. We understand that it was because of Covid, things could be slow but we never heard back from them when would we get the sectional. No confirmation, not email, phone call, nothing. We had to figure out and reach out to them.When we received the sectional, we paid extra for them to put together and found out that the sectional was flimsy, not aligned well. We had to reach out to them and we got the replacement, this one is better but it last about 8 months.Right now, the middle part is broken. We are very disappointed with the purchase. We are average couples, 130 lbs woman and 150 lbs man. It should not break this beam under for sitting in the reading room. Especially, my husband usually sits on the lounge side and I will be on the other end reading. One day, when we put the shrine up on our wall and sit to look at the way we heard the crack. and I looked under the sofa to see where the sound come from, and here in the picture, the wooden part is poking out. if you have to reach to get something under the seat, you hand can be ripped scratch.It is very upsetting. If it is couple years old, I understand but 8 months. This is not good. I contact them, the customer service reached back to me then I did not hear back from them again since two weeks ago. I cannot send any message via there FB page, and resend the emails but never hear back.I would recommend not to buy the furniture here. I hate for people to get what we have been through. I recommend to read other reviews before making decision.

Samantha Crippin: We had to wait much longer for our furniture than originally promised. We went there based on a recommendation from a local FB group. We stressed to the salesperson that we only wanted pieces in stock. However, once we paid we were informed that the dining room table was not in stock until the following week. That week turned into 6 weeks of frequent, unanswered and unreturned calls. Finally all the pieces we paid for arrived. I never should have paid in full.

Beth Moody: If you want furniture don’t buy from this place. I made an in store purchase on October 2nd. All pieces were supposedly in stock. We went back on October 3rd to pick up the items that were paid in full for and the ottoman was on back order. We were told it would arrive on December 2nd. That didn’t happen so we were told it would arrive on January 15th. That didn’t happen. Then I was told March, well it’s April and I still don’t have it. No one is willing to help. They will not give a refund and the owner has still not returned my call. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.
Emily Vebrosky Nolan: Poor quality & poor customer service - We purchased a sectional here in November. It was very delayed with little response when we asked about its estimated arrival. While assembling the couch, we had to cut through the duster fabric in multiple areas to attach the legs and we also had to dig into the frame of the couch with a knife to find the threading the put the legs in. It was tedious and unnecessary. Initially we were pleased. The couch is comfortable and very aesthetically appealing. After 1/5 months, the cushions are pilling and there are two rips in the fabric. I've contacted about if there was any warranty and I was informed there is no warranty. The person I was in contact with asked me to send pictures of the rips and they would see if they "could do anything." It's been over 2 weeks and I've sent multiple follow up emails and have heard nothing. A 1.5 month old couch should not have rips in it and it would be nice to have options of solutions. I highly regret buying this sectional now.
a lynn: Drove from Rocky Mount based on a facebook ad. The store is junky and only about half the store has furniture. Salesman was rude, no public restroom for shoppers to use (who just drove almost an hour to get here). Waste of time.

I need this furniture due to a late delivery which would leave my salespeople and their wives with no furniture for a whole week. As I am about to pay for it with my corporate company card, over the phone the woman insists I cannot pay over the phone because of scammers. Why on earth wouldn’t you take the card and run it and see we are paying customers and have corporate agreements with you! Pretty upset about this and not happy with the lack of customer service… also lady was not very happy on the phone. Seemed like she was doing a chore and laboring over my phone call! Upset!

I came in knowing what I wanted/needed/was looking for. They didn't have it, so I left. I wasn't pressure or bothered or coerced into buying something else I didn't want or need. So yes, I would come back here. Maybe if the snowflake customers went up and asked the employees for help instead of expecting a red carpet to be rolled out for them upon arrival - their expectations wouldn't be so high & mighty.
victoria wilson: I’m only giving two starts simply bc of the prices. Deals are great but AWFUL and I mean AWFUL customer service. We just finished building a house and had many items we were in search for. Some were just space fillers so we didn’t want to spend a ton of money. However we needed 4 bar stools, 8 counter height stool and 6 kitchen chairs so after seeing the Facebook advertisements we made the trip. When we entered we were never once greeted or offered any help, instead we were made to feel as if we were inconveniencing the employee who was on a personal phone call or gossip session if you may, by asking a simple question. We still bought a few items bc of the price, however we won’t be returning. I just ordered what I needed off of Amazon instead.

Everyone there was super nice in helping my boyfriend and I find a table and chairs/ bench to go with our table we picked out. Great pricing too on all the products and a great selection of furniture in there. Will be returning again!

Jack Brown: Terrible customer service. Don’t expect the owner to look at you or talk to you. If the sign read “If we don’t like you we won’t talk to you” it would be more accurate than the Antiques that are advertised and not in store at all. This is not a bargain spot or vintage antique store. They sell ugly repainted furniture at a high price and mostly corny brand new with tags French country vibe. If you walked from next door to shop here it would be a disservice to yourself, let alone drive from any distance. Don’t waste your time. They will surely waste yours.

They are standing at the door not letting anyone shop. While Every other store in the Plaza is open and doing business. What a shame. You guys turning away customers because staff rather have the evening off. Storm started at 7:15pm blew by fast. Closed at 7:20pm.

Chandra Blethen Rasor: Update- I just dropped my review again to one star because their customer service call center is equally as incompetent as their contracted delivery drivers. I highly regret buying furniture from this place.Initially I had given this company a 5 star review. I have to lower my rating because the contractors they use to deliver and assemble furniture do an awful job and do not care about the quality of their work. They scraped up more than half of the furniture they setup, left trash all over our house and driveway (it took us an hour to clean up all of the bits of styrofoam left behind), and they broke a drawer in our dresser. The furniture is decent quality for an okay price and they do the 55 months interest free payments during holidays, which is why I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1. But for the hassle of having to get everything repaired/replaced (it takes weeks for them to replace furniture) is such a hassle that we will never shop here again. They also made it seem like the furniture protection was included but we were charged almost $500 additional and didn't know about it until after we made the purchase.

Mrs. Shannon: They are the politest most helpful non pushy place to shop comfortably. I found my piece of furniture after looking for 2 years to match my bedroom set. This place even went beyond my expectations and gave me a few handles so I wouldn’t have to worry and could have a complete bedroom set for years to come.
Avery Cox: Went in originally when I first moved to Raleigh and went to a bunch of furniture stores looking around. People were rude and were “too busy” with other customers to help not to mention prices were overpriced. Went into this store and immediately got helped by one of the sales associates and went head over heels for me showing me all kinds of options in a wide range of prices. He had helped out a lot. I was ready to purchase but just didn’t have anything with me at the time to take the furniture home. Was thinking about buying from another place but in the back of my mind the experience that these guys gave me I never forgot. So I came back and purchased everything that I was in the market for. Chamaria Wilson: Bought furniture from them and was told there was a few in stock at the warehouse. I originally had it set up for delivery on July 19th. I had to push the delivery date back a week to July 25th because my closing was pushed back. Called to get a new delivery date the week before and all of a sudden the furniture set was damaged and they would not get a new shipment until August 12th. Got a delivery date set up for August 17th. Called August 15th to confirm, got told yes it was still coming. A few hours later I get a call saying the furniture was still not there and could possibly come by August 17. No word from them. I call August 17 morning to see what the status is. They tell me they’ll call me back. I went through my entire work shift without a call back, so I call and get told they won’t be delivering it until next week. A huge inconvenience as I am having a house warming this weekend and now nobody has anything to sit on. These people just lie and don’t even apologize for the inconvenience they cause. Will update when my furniture actually gets here.

Tabitha Hayes: I would like to first say this place is very affordable. My first encounter was in 2020 and their prices and delivery and set was a breeze BUT then yesterday things were different. I purchased a child's bed and kitchen table and paid for delivery, well when it came for the delivery, the delivery men only did that, deliver it they did not set anything up. It was NEVER said that they wouldn't set my things up. Even with the delivery time frame, I was told any time after 3 ok cool, I waited and waited and finally decided to go to the store and then I called at 5 asking has their been a change, the answer was no, the driver has a regular job and gets off at 5 and was loading the truck. In my head I'm like well why not just say that from jump. I was late meeting the drivers bc I stepped out for a few minutes but had I knew the RIGHT time frame, I would have been in place. I honestly feel like they didn't set up my stuff bc I was late. Even if that is not the case and I had to pay for assembly, IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN TOLD TO ME. I didn't have that problem the last time I purchased something from them, so why is it so different now.In closing, be clear in what you are paying for AND delivery AND set up bc if you don't, they won't.UPDATE: I wanted to let anyone who reads this, MAKE SURE you have ALL your screws when they deliver your furniture bc I purchased a table and there was NO SCREWS for me to put it together. Needless to say, I WILL NOT be shopping with them again. I paid top much money for this nonsense. Take care!

The store rep didn’t let me know this when I purchased the mattress and when I put in complaint about the mattress she never called me back. I had to call her to ask about my complaint and she stated they will not honor the warranty due to the stain. I had this mattress for 2 years and the spring in the middle is broken.

Melody DuShay: I ordered a sectional and dining table on 2/25 then went back and order a bedroom set for my daughter on 2/27. I was told items should be delivered 1-2 weeks. After a 2 weeks I had to call twice about when my order would be delivered. First time I called was told it can take up to 2 weeks for the items to come into store and would get a call for delivery. Another week passed and still nothing. So called back a 3rd time and was told the bedroom set (that I order on 2/27) was in and can set up delivery but the sectional and table (that was ordered on 2/25) would be delivered to store until the end of March. So today (3/14) called about getting a refund (because I paid EVERYTHING in full) for the table and couch since I’ve been waiting sooooo long for it only to be told that I cannot get a refund but can get a store credit. I’m sorry but this is the FIRST & LAST time I order from here and definitely will NOT recommend this place to anyone I know. If I paid for everything in full I should be able to get MY money back because I’m not satisfied with the service. I definitely will be looking into contacting someone higher up because this is not good customer service.

James Pierce: The store was clean and tidy. They had temporary sign that changed the hours March 5 from 9a to 9p to new hours 10a to 7p. The handmade temporary sign didn't match how well the store is executed. For a Saturday it wasn't very busy. It was a pleasant experience.I went back 6/14 after work to buy some cleaning products the store and parking lot were empty. The store is clean and bright, sales associate nice but she did tell me the store is almost always empty. They still had the temporary hours sign. If there are only going to open until 7p them change the sign donut looks professional.I still don't think Big Lots is going to make it the other Big Lots on Glenwood never has any cara in its parking lot either.I took a picture of the empty parking lot at 5pm.Good Luck Big Lots
