4worldlovers: Silber Psychological Services is a private practice which has been dedicated to serving the needs of children and families in the Raleigh and Cary area for more than 30 years. We provide high quality assessment, intervention and therapy, specializing in children, teens, young adults and families. While we primarily concentrate on children and adolescents, we do, in certain circumstances, provide adult therapy as well. We have two offices conveniently located in Raleigh and Cary to serve you.

Our child psychologists and clinical social workers are highly skilled and collaborative. A neuropsychological evaluation helps any child, adolescent, or adult who is struggling with school, behavior, friendships, memory, or thinking to find their strengths, learn how they shine, and figure out how they can be successful.


My clinical services include: Neuropsychological evaluation for children ages 3 and up through adult FAA Aviation Neuropsychological Evaluations Psychoeducational evaluations Educational Consultation and Independent Educational Evaluations Consultation and Evaluation for Private School Accommodations ADHD, TBI/Concussion or Learning Disability evaluations Evaluations for College Accommodations Forensic/legal consultation Jennifer Larson (formerly Hiemenz) is a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist by the American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology, and has trained in child, adolescent, and adult neuropsychology. She sees patients aged 3 years through adult in her practice, and works with patients with ADHD, learning disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, epilepsy, and traumatic brain injuries. She additionally completes aviation neuropsychological evaluations for aviators referred by the FAA. Dr. Larson completed her undergraduate degree in psychology at the University of Notre Dame, and completed her Ph.D. in School Psychology at the University of Georgia, with a concentration in clinical neuropsychology. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at the Medical College of Georgia in their Child Neuropsychology Service, as well as through the Clarke County (GA) Public School District. She went on to complete a postdoctoral fellowship in Pediatric Neuropsychology and Developmental Disabilities at Kennedy Krieger Institute, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She has served on faculty at the UNC Chapel Hill Center for Development and Learning (Department of Psychiatry), UNC School of Education in the School Psychology doctoral program, and the UNC School of Medicine Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She has worked as a consultant for the NC Department of Public Instruction, and has served as both a school psychologist and Exceptional Children’s services director at a charter school.
