The Salesperson/Designer, Sandra, has been very instrumental in helping us find rugs that fit the style and priceline that works for us. She has looked at pictures of our rooms and made excellent recommendations to help us find rugs that truly make our rooms look far better than we thought they could look. We have stopped driving all over the Raleigh area to find the perfect rug when we always end up at Capel. And, we specifically look for Sandra to help us each time.
Luther: What a great place for finding rugs. We'd been looking online, in furniture stores etc for some new rugs and decided to try Capel Rugs. Excellent selection of rugs in all kinds of prices. Lots of size selections, colors, patterns. Sid, who help us, was really nice. No pressure, no hovering over you like a vulture. Very reasonable pricing, 30 day no question returns with full refund. No restocking fees either. They have super nice rug pads if you need those as well. Very happy with our purchases and service. May be a drive from where you are, but most definitely worth it.

I saw several rugs and zeroed in on one and bought it right away since the size, material (Wanted a woolen rug only) and price were just perfect. I want to give a shout out Salesperson David H who was just amazing. He worked with me on the color combination and made suggestions and offered relevant design ideas based on my needs. He did not try to sell me the most expensive rug and was not pushy at all. He came across more like a consultant than a salesperson. I would highly recommend this place. Zanah Kagan: I visited Rug and Home today with the intent of going home with an area rug meant to last longer than a Home Goods or Lowes rug. I was greeted by Bobby McNeill who guided and helped me the whole time. I picked out about 5 rugs. They have a lot to choose from. The shop "muscle" took them down from the hanging display areas and laid them out on the wide open hardwood for me to inspect. I knew the rug I was going to go home with when I saw it. That being said, Bobby was an excellent design specialist and gave me helpful advice about my rug as well as the other rugs I had chosen to look at. Their furniture also looks of great quality and I will have Rug and Home in mind when I need some quality (non Ashley) pieces in the future.
Lillian Mallia: I recently purchased two custom size rugs, a large Santa Barbara square coffee table, and a glass floor vase. My experience with the staff, especially Patrice, was exceptional. They were very helpful in answering my questions and keeping me informed of the delivery date status. And the prices are very competitive for the quality; I know this for a fact as I shopped extensively before ordering.

Sheila Waldrop: Read the fine print! I bought a a wreath bag for $14.99, but it was too small. I tried to return it after December 25th. Although I had the receipt, they were only willing to give me the current price, which is $3.75! They pointed to the receipt and said it is clearly on the receipt that anything returned after December 25 is refunded at the current price. I guess I should have taken my wreath down before Christmas to confirm it fit in the bag!

After a few weeks we disassembled and reassembled making doubly sure to tighten everything- it was a defective table. Called for a repair or replacement. It’s been 5 months. Still nothing. I call every few weeks and am told to be patient, but I would never recommend this place to anyone.

John Painter: About 2 weeks ago (June 2021) we went to the Raleigh, NC location for Green Front Interiors & Rugs with the intention of buying rugs. "Robert the Rug Guy" there was fantastic. He is passionate about rugs, knows a ton about rugs, is patient to teach about rugs, and was infinitely helpful to assist us in our purchase of 2 rugs there. We wanted to buy one more large rug but had to go to the home location in Farmville, VA to do that where we bought a 3rd rug. In May, we had experienced a so-so day at the Farmville location, so we credit Robert for restoring our interest in going back to Farmville.

Keith Coltrain: The sales representative was very helpful and accommodating. My complaint is not with him but with the company's billing department. I had made a fairly large purchase that was going to be delivered in various shipments over five months. I was told my credit card would be charged for each delivery when the shipment was made. However, the billing department billed my credit card for the entire order at once. This was an irritating surprise, but I could have accommodated that billing even though it would have pushed my card to near the limit. The billing department then, one day later, erroneously billed my card AGAIN for roughly 70% of the order; i.e., I had now been billed 170% of the order. This resulted in my exceeding my credit card limit by over $5000 which caused my credit card company shut down my card. To make matters worse, I was planning to leave on vacation the next day and needed my card for the trip. I tried reaching Pottery Barn's customer service but after 1-1/2 hours on hold, I gave up. I then contacted the store manager and was told that he could do nothing about it, but that the charges were "test runs" to confirm available credit and that they should fall off in 5 to 7 days. He had no explanation at all as to why my card had been double charged. I was ultimately able to transfer money from my checking account to make an advance, online payment on my credit card to lower it to below the allowed limit thus freeing it up for use on my vacation. The entire process cost me three hours of time during a work day, and when, Pottery Barn's erroneous charges are finally reversed, I'll have approximately a $10,000 credit on the card that will take several months to spend down. The take away is to be ready for large, erroneous charges to be placed on your credit card.
Anna Adams: I ordered a sectional couch that was delivered stained and not assembled. After reaching out to Pottery Barn multiple times, they offered me 15% off my original purchase OR the option for a couch medic to come to my house to clean the couch. As I paid for a “performance fabric” I picked the 15% rebate assuming it wouldn’t be hard to clean/ assemble the couch. The cleaning was a piece of cake, but the assembly process has proven to be a nightmare. The delivery men clearly struggled as the couch was not well constructed to begin with. The alligator clips don’t align, and there is no passive path of insertion for the sectional pieces. Not only do I wish I had not taken the 15% discount, but I wish I had never ordered from Pottery Barn to begin with.
Mona Tanyi: I always come in here to window shopping, mainly because the items are dreamy beautiful but a bit pricy. By window shop, I mean sometimes I buy something. I love interior decorating and pottery barn also has a lot of design inspiration. This location has an excellent variety of good quality products.
Kea Allen: The service here was great. We were looking for a couch and one of the representatives made sure to let us know that things could be customized to suit our liking, looked for options that would fit my space, and printed out a quote while providing me a material sample to take with me. While I may not have ended up purchasing the couch, I will say that I will be going there again to shop for decor just because of how nice of an experience it was.

I canceled an order and two months later had my account charged they refused credit my account and insisted I have a merchandise credit which I did not want AND I never got the product because they sent it to the wrong address. Multiple times I asked to speak to a supervisor which they would not pass me up to instead they sent me to a team leader who was not only rude but didn’t know what he was doing. If you order from this company make sure you want the item because it’s impossible to cancel and get a refund

Tirrill Moore: Do not order furniture from Pottery Barn. We ordered a sectional sofa from this location in early November of 2020-it has since been delayed numerous times and now isn't scheduled to arrive until June of 2021. The sales people at the store will give you a 6-8 week estimate for delivery, but that is a plain lie. Once you order, you cannot get a refund until the item is delivered. We've been out thousands of dollars for 5 months with no furniture to show for it.

All of their furniture is Greenguard Gold Certified and their bedding is organic. When it comes to air quality and maximum safety for my child, I would never consider any other store. PBK doesn’t just meet safety regulations, they exceed them!

Willa Raybould: Six weeks ago I purchased 4 brass chargers over the internet for pickup. When my daughter went to get them, they could not find them. A month later I received an email saying my chargers were being returned because no one picked them up. I was on vacation and called the store and ask if they could hold them for two weeks when I returned from vacation and had quarantined. A young man said he could do that. Two weeks later when I called to confirm I was going to come pick them up, I was told by someone in a managerial position that she confirmed my story and the young man had placed them back for me. She said their policy is to only hold things for three days. She was rather nonchalant about the issue. I am now sitting with 4 chargers that are not returnable and lost the other four! Very poor customer service!

World McCrea: I absolutely love pottery barn. They are definitely on the pricier side of things but the quality in undeniable. It was love at first sight when I saw the York grand sofa on display. I wanted to buy it on the spot. I ended up buying the 80" sofa version over the 95" grand sofa online. I considered it an investment. I plan to have this piece for many years. I can see myself getting some other pieces from the collections here. Once I buy my house I wont have much furniture shopping to do!
