Most of the food looked fried and greasy.So many people were lacking their fingers while serving food on to their plates. Han Stw: Stopped by for a dine in lunch. Ordered the moo goo gai pan (chicken with mushroom) lunch special, which comes with veggie fried rice. The food was tasty, and the price was decent. They do have lunch buffet (as of Oct 2022, the price is $9.99 for adult buffet) but the buffet is only open 11-2:30 p.m. Quick service and overall a decent experience.

We had a large party of 8 adults and 5 kids (ranging from 2-14) and they accommodated us well! We were all able to sit in an area with enough room for each of us.The staff was amazing! Floyd Powell: It’s a pretty good Chinese buffet. I usually get the black chicken, honey chicken, fried rice, string beans and chicken wings. All which are really good. As usual with buffets, it’s hit or miss with the hot food. They are usually pretty good about switching out the food when it gets low but when the store is slow and there is still a lot of food but is starting to get cold, sometimes you’re stuck with cold food. Staff is friendly and overall and do a good job at cleaning. It’s pretty solid. If you go during dinner time during the weekday. You can expect to spend about $34 for two people. Shinya A: For their price for buffet, it actually is a pretty good deal. I was initially skeptical about eating here, but overall my experience was good. They have a variety of food (chow main, egg rolls, tofu, seafood, hibachi station, sashimi, sushi rolls, ice cream, cakes, vegetables, chicken, beef, pork, soups, etc.) which are all decent (but something not to rave over). If you go for the seafood and sashimi/sushi you definitely get more than your money's worth and it's a good idea to go to this place when you are very hungry. It is a fun experience with a group of people too.

They always say ready in 10 mins, I arrive in 15 mins and have to wait another 40-50 mins not sure why I go back. As of recently they started overcharging hoping the customer would not notice. Last visit I called her on it and that will be the last time I go here. Dishonest and cheap not worth my business, really it’s a shame too.

The Egg Foo Young had hard bits of chicken and the gravy had the same awful taste of star anise. General TSO Chicken was awful! Once again Star Anise!! Oh... I almost forgot the Soup... I tasted it... and poured it out! Also, ALL of the food tasted BURNT! The food may look pleasing to the eye but, that's as far as it goes. Quit pushing that awful spice into paying customers food. Not everyone likes the flavor of licorice in their food! As far as I'm concerned, if I could rate this place a ZERO I WOULD!

The rice was very good and came PACKED in the to go box. I thought I was just getting a cup of soup, but got a whole container for just $5!! So reasonably priced and very nice. Will be going back :)

I had roast pork and Chinese vegetables with pork fried rice. YUM! Added Hot & Sour soup to warm up on a rainy day. Ashley Worsley: I got the general Tso chicken with beef lo main which was mushy the worst ever and some white sauce everything was horrible. I don't even think it was chicken people. For the amount of money i spent ($29) you'll think it would be good. I wouldn’t feed this to my dog or anybody else. Absolutely horrible. Almost puked. U better be starving to eat that garbage. Never again save your money.

Kaelyn Dyson: Literally the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. The rice tasted sour and the crab Rangoon was not fresh, pretty sure it was old. Threw away our whole meal and went to another restaurant instead. Definitely a waste of money save your coins and go elsewhere.

Desiree B: This was by far the best Chinese food I’ve had in North Carolina. Coming from New York it has been difficult to find a descent Chinese food place and King Chef has been the top!! Their fried rice has pork and no peas and carrots like most put in their fried rice. Love their egg rolls full of flavor and had their egg foo young and the gravy was all it should be and that is hard to find. The new management has certainly made a difference!!
