Red Hat Amphitheater: what do users think?
CDN Chick: Great venue! Not a bad seat in the house
Brian Sudol: Good outdoor venue
Patty P: Great venue!
Randy Callahan: Great place for a concert
Bill Bernacki: Dang it’s hot in the summer
Scott Kipp: Great venue with no bad seats! Much more intimate than the mega outdoor venue.
Kaiblax Mr. Ponder: Lovely venue
Lizzy Wilson: Del Amitri, Five for Fighting and The Barenaked ladies! Loved red hat and the vip is fantastic. Great employees and wonderful security. Had a blast!
MaryAnn Singleton: BNL and both warm up bands were awesome. The only bad thing was waiting for the sun to go down. They even offered water refill stations so you didn't have to buy multiple bottles of $5 water!
John Maynard: Fantastic venue. Easy access not too large but not too small. Great location for a concert evening.
Rich The King: Nice amphitheater. Plenty of space. Lawn was nice. Not a bad seat in the house.
Tyler Hill: Loved the venue. Please do more pest control. I sat down on the lawn on a towel and wound up with 30+ fire ant bites all over my thighs during Iration show.
Deborah J.: First time here. I have been to much better. The seating area didn't have enough slope. Personal opinion.
Ray Redding: Make sure that if they offer you upgraded tickets and you are with a group that the tickets are all together. We lost our great spot on the lawn.
Scott Hoffman: First time at Red Hat, great venue! Parking was easy and lots of places to get a cold beverage inside.
Michael Mallon: Saw Peter Frampton,a nice, cozy, outdoor venue,in the heart of Raleigh
Angela Crumm: The best venue in the area. We saw Peter Frampton their it was amazing. I highly recommend this venue to anyone.
Samantha Tew: Nice. There's not much lawn to sit on. The seat was comfy, not hard like most.
T&S Content Moderator: Amazing!
Jenni Tarango: Clean, spacious and friendly staff. Only down side is there isn’t too much of an incline so it’s a struggle to see the stage from further back
Sam Sigarto: Love going to the amphitheatre.

The Ritz: what do users think?
Peter Smyth: Awesome venue. Sound quality was top tier
Jane Doe: Prejudice folks here. They hate black folks here
lauren heimberg: Great venue and clean bathrooms! Only issue was the ridiculously high price of drinks. My MOCKTAIL was $15. It was literally lemonade and strawberry syrup. I know it’s a venue, but really for a drink without alcohol….
Marvis Walker: Larry June was fun but I think they sold too many tickets, floor space felt over crowded to enjoy properly.
John-Stuart O'Neill: I've been coming to this venue for years and love it! Staff is friendly and professional during the quick moving lines to get in. Security provides a safe atmosphere instead of an uneasy one during shows, which is great.
L A: Awesome lgbt+ friendly venue, very overpriced and they should definitely fix that if they want to make this an accessible location for queer people but otherwise I loved it!
Lindsay Schweiger: Had such an amazing time seeing JoDee Massina and the Dryes. This was my first visit and will not be my last.
Gayle West: When we got tickets to see Jo Dee Messina I had no idea about the venue and that I would be standing up. I can’t say enough good things about the staff of the Ritz and how courteous they were in assisting us when I explained to them my medical situation and how I can’t stand for long periods of time. They quickly assisted me in my situation and made the whole night very pleasant. I was truly impressed watching how they handled all types of situations. Plus it was a great concert!!
Brad Still: Great smaller venue we saw Jody Messina excellent show!
Charles West: Stand up venue, but we lucked out with seats. Great concert, easy to get in and get out.
Cari Grigsby: Awesome venue!
dan smith: I debated giving four stars but honestly for what this place is, they are great at it. The Ritz is a big rectangular space with a flat floor where you can go see bands. I’m 5’11” and struggled to see the stage at a sold out event but security was efficient getting us in. The acoustics were great for a flat floor box. And I’ve never had an easier time getting a drink at a sold out show. The Ritz knows how to run an event. I just wish there were some elevation away from the stage, or that I were taller, or owned cowboy boots with 3 inch heels…
Cesar Ramirez: Excelente lugar para asistir a conciertos de rock del tipo Caifanes, leyenda de grupo.
james reeder: They were out of water cups at the water station so I went to bar and offered to restock the cups but I was told it was illegal to receive a cup for water.
Lantz Newman: One of the best venues in the state.
Alicia F: Easy parking, great staff and the shoe for Matt Maeson was fantastic!!
Vera Rico: Went to see Caifanes in concert. All the organization was amazing and the venue was nice and clean!
Alex Vélez: Nice place, great concert
Raquel Dom: Really Amazing! 😍
Jessi S: Saw 2 shows in 3 days. Very good shows. HOWEVER!! Only giving 3 starts due to lack of safety. Was there for Bad Omens, and while they worked hard to keep the crowd in check and keep people hydrated, this establishment shouldn't sell to capacity. Just because you can doesn't mean you should!! There were moment that night that myself and several of the people around me were being squished so much we almost couldn't breathe. There were several moments that my vision was going blurry. There was just physically to many people in the building which is a hazard. If anything were to happen people would definitely be killed from being trampled on. I go to A LOT of shows and have for many many years. And this is the first venue that I've ever had this happen. Not sure if I will return.
Morgan Joyner: The venue was great and all of the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly!

City Plaza Main Stage: what do users think?
Mark Weaver: The City Center area on Fayetteville Street is usually where the main stage is set-up for performances during First Night Raleigh (NYE) and various festivals throughout the year. Stage will normally be located someplace on Fayetteville St. between One City Plaza and the Marriott.
Everette Winslow: I loved this place in the before tiimes, when people actually congregated. It's large enough for a sizeable crowd but not so big you feel lost. Highly recommend!
Damien Johnson: Relax
Mimi Cole: Loved the atmosphere here..
Ambrish Raju: Reasonable prices......
Aime'e Lancaster: Birthplace Home. Changed so much. Beautiful. Plenty to do
Jose Luis Ponce Hernandez: Don’t miss the events & conventions held here!. It’s also a pretty location for photo shoots.
DANNY TRIPLETT: Best place in the world for music
Caroline Barnes: No comment
Rayan Jaroush: Nice place for events to be made
Mark Patterson: I like it, l go there all the time!!!
Jef Rawlings: Bustling downtown growing into an amazing destination place
Tzuhui Angie Tseng NTHU: Bluegrass American night market
Marsha Leach-Harris: Security, fun and good people!
Jerry Lowe: My family and I attended the African American Cultural Festival and I am so glad I went. Music, free concerts, a skit reflecting on the lives of one of our great heroes, Soujourner Truth, food, food and more food everywhere and people bustling about made for a truly remarkable day. It was that much better because I spent it with the fellas from my family. You can't get great moments back if you miss them and you can't duplicate or redo them, but you can enjoy them in the now and cherish the memories.
Bendi J: City Plaza had a "HopScotch" event with many different artist from folk to hip hop running from Thursday to Sunday night. There were informative vendors from maybe a local beer to voting sign up booths. My favorite was the voting information and the LightLife meatless hamburger vendors with free samples. Thank you City Plaza!
RJ Smiles: Awesome place to have events and festivals such as Hopscotch!
Heather Wells: I go every year for Hopscotch. Extremely well organized. Mostly shaded in the evenings.
Lila Lawson: Great place for outdoor concerts
Winston Graham: Great area for pictures and just lounging around downtown
Dawn Johnson: African day festival

Lincoln Theatre: what do users think?
Shanthan Ramaraju: I’ve visited this place for first time and it was very spacious. The event which I went was awesome and would love to host an other event at this location
Elanna Daughtry: Had a good time at my first rave
Mark Scheuerlein: Venue doesn’t lend itself well to a Burlesque show, but the girls were great and we had fun!
Himani Vejandla: Small and cozy, can use some design updates.
Bobby Bratton: Great spot for live shows and very pleasant employees.
Graham Duncan: Intimate venue with wonderful staff
dan smith: A nice little concert hall with an upstairs balcony that gives you a great view of the stage if you can find a space up there. The two times I’ve been to the Lincoln there were plenty of servers, drink lines were short and moved quick. And there’s plenty of bars/restaurants nearby for food/drinks before/after the show.
Erik Roehl: Have been wanting to catch a performance here for some time and finally had an opportunity last night. Saw Joseph Terrell and Chatham County Line and felt inclined to leave a review for anyone who has not been to a show here before. The venue itself was very clean, which surprised me for some reason, and the building seems to be well maintained. The staff here are very professional/friendly, the drinks are reasonably priced for a concert venue (e.g. $10 for a 16oz. can of craft beer, $6 for a PBR). GA tickets get you right up front and the all-ages crowd felt like we were all there together to have a good time. I was worried that I had forgotten my ear plugs standing in the second row, but the sound was great and didn't require them (at least for a bluegrass/folk setup). I'm sure the upcoming Metallica tribute show may have something to say about that. Anyway, HIGHLY RECOMMEND attending any type of performance here. Also, BUY YOUR TICKETS DIRECTLY FROM THE VENUE /WEBSITE as you will save a ton of $!! The first attempt at purchasing tickets took me to a 3rd party and they were charging $52/ticket. I bought 2 tickets all in for under $50 from the Lincoln Theater site directly. Enjoy!
Z H Current: Like the Visulite in Charlotte with a balcony
Michael Cooper: The vibe here is always tight
Stephen Sharrock (Tee): The Lincoln has a unique sound and is the best place in town to see live music. Staple and treasure in downtown Raleigh.
chris page: A close-knit, intimate place that has great bands and unlimited re-entry. Literally the loudest shows ever though... so loud that it's not enjoyable
D. Raper: Good place to catch a live show. Customer service at the door and the bar is great! Drink prices are good also. Not a break the bank kind of entertainment venue!
Cesar Ramirez: Great tribute night !!
John A Giglia: Nice venue but only a few barstools to sit on.
Tom ODwyer: Great place to see a show!Excellent Staff, tyvm!
Player Two: Small venue with great shows! Always a good time here.
Raymond Myburgh: Great small venue for live music. Free parking too!
Chance LeBron: Perfect small venue for catching my favorite independent artists!
Matt Koonts: I love seeing shows at the Lincoln. I always have a great time. I did like it better when the sections in the middle were general admission instead of an upcharge for tickets. Sometimes I don't want to be down in the pit. In the middle elevated sections I can see everything and have a perfect sound mix without being pushed around. Other than that this is a great place with great memories. The Band Of Heathens...great as always!
Eric C: A fantastic venue for concerts!
