Ryan Bird: I could literally cry and spend an hour gushing about Ginny Corbett. I am no photography expert, but I am picky. When I first found out about Ginny, I had just graduated college and was in NO rush to get married. Ginny photographed a mutual friend from High School, and her photography caught my eye. 6 years later, I was still following Ginny and her AMAZING talent when I got engaged to the love of my life (we had been dating officially 7 years)! I had this uber weird connection to Ginny that I felt. Not only had she photographed several of my High School buddies weddings, she had this ability to make you feel like you knew who she was and what she stood for before you even met her. When I called Ginny a week after we picked our wedding venue, I told her this back story about me following her artistry, how I felt connected to her, how I felt I knew her, and how comfortable I felt asking her to PLEASE be my photographer, come hell or high water. What I like about Ginny is she is Ginny. She is not trying to be someone else. She is genuine, kind, and a good listener. When you get past having the best conversation(s) of your life and feeling like you have a new best friend, you start to really see what an artist she is...her work is beyond amazing. What I like (again I am no expert) with Ginny's photos is the fact that you can zoom in and every photo is not grainy or pix-elated. Most photographer’s photos lose the pixels. Sorry to be so picky but that is one of the biggest thing I notice about other photographers! Other photographers also do the SAME edit for every single photo. Ginny is different, she takes into account the actual picture and works her magic on every single photograph. It's pretty unique I must say. I am quite obsessed. Another must-know-about-Ginny-Corbett-Photography... Ginny captures the JOY in each photograph. Ginny is able to get that split 0.10 second of your life through a lens and put it on paper. Ginny made us both feel extra comfortable in front of the lens. She also knew every single person in both families by name and the bridal party by name, which was just an extra touch of personalization and professionalism that made everyone else feel comfortable, too. We had a second shooter, Amanda, who also went above and beyond and was just as gracious and comforting as Ginny. Having a second shooter is ideal, as it gives you another perspective of your day! I was seeking some professional photos that went beyond a stock headshot - something that would capture a bit of personality as well as professonalism - and Amber took my ideas and crafted them into a perfect plan to get some great shots. I'm SO excited about the photos!! Just as importantly, in addition to her talent and artistry, I really appreciated all of Amber's COVID-19 safety measures. We were able to take all of the photos at quite a distance, and Amber was masked the whole time (as was I except for when we were actually snapping photos). Amber also deliberately picked a location that was otherwise empty and very spacious and airy; she also had me bring all of my own props (laptop and books) so that we never actually had any contact. I was overall beyond pleased with my experience, both because the photos are stunning and because I felt very safe!!

She came highly recommended by a close friend, I was very excited to work with her and see the fruits of our labor. Upon initially contacting her, she was very hard to actually speak with and pretty slow to respond to texts/call after we spoke. I, however pressed forward due to the recommendation by my friend and great things I had heard about her. After we met and got contracts signed/payment made, I never heard from Amber again. I texted, called and left multiple voicemails and NEVER heard back from her. This is AFTER I paid for her services that I DID NOT receive. Please save yourselves time and money, DO NOT book with her for services as you will be SCAMMED. Unfortunately, I have lost $530. So take my loss as a lesson.
