4worldlovers: Founded in 2015, Compass Rose Brewery is the first brewery in Northeast Raleigh. Our beer ingredients are influenced by the international travels of the owners, at the moment we offer more than 15 different styles with our Award Winning IPA Tidal Break. The 5,500 sq ft taproom features reclaimed wood and industrial design details. The open concept makes the taproom a great place to host events such as business meetings, parties, anniversaries and wedding receptions. Weekly events include Trivia, live music and a rotation of food trucks, along with games for kids of all ages. You can even bring the dog!

Our taproom offers over 5,500 square feet of space, with a high ceiling and industrial décor reminiscent of a German beer hall. A mix of long tables and small high tops provides the opportunity to make new friends or catch up with old ones. We currently offer over 10 of our own styles at any given time (with more variety on the way), along with cider and a respectable wine list. We have a competition-level dart area with two boards, cornhole, and other games, as well as a large projector screen for “the big game” or private presentations. The open concept makes the taproom a great place to host events such as business meetings, parties, anniversaries and wedding receptions. Regular events include Sunday Yoga, Thursday Trivia, occasional live music, and a rotation of food trucks parked out back from Wednesday through Sunday.

We love our local families–kids included! It is a goal of ours to allow families to enjoy their neighborhood brewery together as a family, and to educate and promote responsible alcohol consumption. However, we ask that all children who visit the brewery be actively supervised and well-behaved while sharing the taproom with other guests.

NOTE: In an effort to offer compromise for those with kids and those without, our taproom is limited to ages 21+ after 8pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

This is the first of many beers made during our first few years that will return but be presented in 12oz bottles for the very first time. Constructed from nine barley malts, oats, and brown sugar, this smooth brown ale is finished with a hefty addition of real coconut. Enjoy an aroma that reminds you of tropical granola with a smooth maltiness that hints at chocolate and nuts. Baked in our kettle, cured to perfection. A perpetual spectrum of mind-bending examination, in the most drinkable of dark beers.

Austin Eastciders Spiced Peach is like a peach cobbler in a can. It's the perfect pairing for those colder months when we're getting back together with our favorite people. Made with peaches from the Pacific Northwest and mulled spices, these little cans will make you the hero of your ugly sweater party! Aroma: fresh white peaches, cinnamon, orange peel. Taste: A burst of ripe peaches, nutmeg, cinnamon, and hints of black pepper.
