I was very impressed by this company. The consultants were very knowledgeable and friendly. I liked how they were able to show us virtually how their designs would look in the spaces we wanted done. Another company we had give us a quote could only give us a sketch drawing. CC organized one bedroom closet and our pantry. The installation crew came on the scheduled day and finished very quickly. We have had no issues with the product so far and happy we chose this company.

California Closets was by far the most responsive, helpful, friendly and detailed of all of the vendors. California Closet's pricing were either comparable or less expensive then many of the other vendors. We went to their showroom to get a feel of the quality of the materials they use, and we walked away thoroughly impressed. My wife enjoyed the closet design process and the staff was very helpful with their suggestions. The installation process went by without a hitch. Our installer was terrrific and made a slight adjustment to make our closet flow seamlessly. Overall, we are completely enamoured with our closet and have recommened California Closet's to friends. Jason Sayers: California Closets installed a built-in desk, upper cabinetry, and a murphy bed in one room of our home. We always heard the name CA Closets as high quality and best in class. We were so disappointed with the end result. The initial installation included several scratches and surface chips where the product was cut with a dull blade or drilled for cabinet pulls. The head board was cracked and the holes drilled for the power source for reading lamps was frayed showing the inside of the material. The second installation corrected the cabinet pulls and replaced 1 door for the murphy bed, however no floor protection was placed and the new bed panel was immediately scratched. On the 3rd time the product was repaired. While ultimately CA Closets made this right, we were very disappointed with the process and quality of the product. For the cost it's surprising the product is essentially MDF or compressed wood and the quality of the installation was just so disappointing. We planned to use CA Closets for a future installation and have pivoted to a competitor product. David McPherson: We have guests arriving for the holidays. I contacted Glass Depot this morning with minor concern regarding two shower doors that were installed a year ago. Glass Depot responded in extremely professional manner by scheduling a service call for the next day! Within a few minutes they called back and said that Randy, their Service Manager, could be here within 30 minutes. In less than one hour from my initial call requesting service, the door adjustments had been completed - a superb job by a 5 star company.

Tom Tlusty: Just needed a sweep for my shower door (which Glass Depots installed a few years ago) it's a bit of a drive from my house but well worth it. The showroom is very impressive. Lots of examples of their work all under one roof. Kinda wish I was in the market for a new shower. The person at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. She took my old sweep and brought back a new one already pre-cut and ready for install.

I left there with the promise of a 5 day turnaround around, imagine my surprise and excitement when I got an email less than 24 hrs later that it was ready. Packaged with care to even include small cord squares to protect the pieces of glass, Thank you!! If I ever need the service again they definitely have my business.

Maria N: This was a horrible experience. The initial visit to the showroom was good, with a salesperson that was very helpful. At least four times I was told that it would be 20 days until delivery. The sales person told me that, the person taking the order told me that, the person doing the measurements told me that and the person taking payment told me that. I ordered a mirror and glass for a small shower. I waited 20 days and called to ask about my order. The person answering the phone seemed annoyed that I called and gave me short, terse answers about the glass not being in yet. I waited two more weeks and called again. Same terse reception over the phone. This time I was told that the glass had come in, but was sent back due to errors. Why did no one tell me this? I was also told that the company doing the bevels on the mirror was sending out their work, causing further delays. This was known when I placed the order and no one informed me of this. In addition, Glass Depots was unwilling to install either the mirror or the shower until both items were available. I guess accomodating a waiting customer is not an option. Several more weeks went by and still no communication, so I called again. The glass finally arrived and the scheduler made me wait for an additional week to get an appointment, because "the job would take all day". The job would end up taking 2-3 hours. They arrived and determined that the shower measurements were not done correctly, so the glass did not fit as intended. Wow. The person came back out to remeasure and reorder. From the time I placed the order to the time it was finally installed was 12 WEEKS!! I received ONE apology during this entire ordeal. In the end, they took off 5%, but that didn't begin to make up for the fact that we didn't have our main shower available for 12 WEEKS!!!

After waiting for 45 minutes, I called to learn they changed my appointment to 2.5 hours later and didn’t inform me. All I received was an “Oops, sorry.” in a flippant tone as if it was not a big deal. Next time I need glass work, I will shop around. I like doing business with nice contractors.

Joy B.: I had 3 closets installed. Overall, I like the new installations. However, I noticed a few glitches in two of the closets. There are two unsecured baseboards in (two closets each with a loose baseboard ). The board easily comes out as it is not attached securely to the wall. The representative returned my call yesterday, and alleges it was purposely left loose so that I could paint. I was not informed of baseboards being left loose prior to the installation nor after installation because I would have chosen to have them anchored. I also did not communicate my intentions to paint. Also, considering the other floorboards are anchored, I am not so sure I believe the rationale. So, advice for future customers, check and ensure your everything that is suppose to be secured and anchored is.Updating: I was very surprised and upset when I initially found the loose (but snug fitting boards). The owner reached out to me, apologized, and offered to send someone back out to secure the boards. I declined because I had already put all of my things back into the closet, and also, the boards were/are snuggly fit. Excellent customer service to rectify an unexpected occurrence. I would definitely use them again and recommend. Only leaving 4 stars because I would of liked to have known about the loose boards before hand and given the opportunity to make the choice of rather I wanted them secured. Otherwise, still enjoying my upgraded closets!

sharon hill: When we built a new home this spring we were disappointed by the lack of usable shelving in the master walk in closet. It was a good sized space being totally underutilized by the lack of proper hang rods and shelving. We got estimates from a couple well-known closet companies but found them to be expensive and using wood composite shelving rather than hard wood. Then we found Mike at Wood Shelving Solutions. He did a very professional job, start to finish. He only uses solid hard wood and steel bars so no worries about sagging and bending under weight. The in-home measuring and estimate were accurate and concise and he really listened to how we wanted to use the space. On installation day, his crew was friendly, clean, and professional and Mike saw to it that the project was finished to perfection. Wonderful company!

martin urda: I found Mike Nedriga and Wood Shelving Solutions online looking for locals options for designing unique shelves. Upon inquire, Mike was quick to respond back and we set up an appointment to come out to Carrboro where I live to talk about design. Mike was extremely professional and helpful in guiding me into a design choice that was unique and would fit my needs. Mike was great with communication and went above and beyond to get the uniquely designed birch shelves in before a party I had planned to host. Wood Shelving Solutions was the only company we found that used real wooden shelves insteadof melamine particle board shelves. Mike was a pleasure to work with. He always arrived on time for appointments and his quote was reasonable. The resulting shelves are sturdy, look great, and even provide a little more storage space than the wire shelves they replaced.

Shelby Petruzel: What a fun store! Such a wide variety of high quality pieces that are so customizable! The on site interior designers were wonderful. We got lucky with Alyssa, who was a huge help with fabric choices. She showed me options I would have never put together on my own, and everything turned out way better than I imagined. The delivery time was delayed, as it seems all custom furniture was in early-mid 2021, but it was well worth the wait. Alyssa was great at keeping us informed of the delays and working to make sure we were happy. The sofa and chairs we purchased are hands down the best pieces of furniture we have. I never want to leave my living room! Go visit Furnish!

Robin Mehera: It was a warm Saturday afternoon. We were looking for a shelf for the nursery, and went into this spot.They make all their items in India I believe, so some custom designs. Their pricing is decent, a bit pricey but not as bad as most high end furniture stores.We have gotten a living room storage piece from there and it has held up well.One thing to know is all sales are final, so no returns or exchanges. You better know you want it.
MJ Worldwide: Cute furniture shop. Minimal frills. Sourcing from around the world. Some pieces are more sturdy and have more design features, some pieces are a bit flimsy and could be thrifted at a better price. Worth a look but I didn’t find anything that stood out to me. I might come back to buy a house warming gift.
