Kayla: I would not recommend Eric for your special event. During the wedding dinner, party music was blasting so loud, you could not hear the person next to you. People had to leave the room because they could not stand the noise. I asked Eric if he could kindly turn the music down after 20 minutes into the dinner as it was bothersome for many people, he told me with a straight face - “no, I’m going to turn it up” and walked away from me. I thought for a moment, was he kidding? No, he wasn’t. An hour goes by and I am out in the reception area where 10+ family members have been telling me it is crazy loud and have left to the hotel bar. I learned that throughout the reception, others had also asked Eric to turn the music down in which he said no and did not, including the bride’s father. Near the end of the reception, I gathered the family back to dance to a few songs together. Eric was playing back to back indecent songs which is fun and great, but clearly the room had family members of all ages in it at this point. After the 3rd song, people were uncomfortable and walking away. How would you dance with your Uncle to ‘Freak-A-Leak’ and ‘Back That Azz up’? Talk about not reading the room. I went up to Eric and asked if he would play a family friendly song. He told me no, that he had a list he had to follow. I said, that’s great, where is the list? He did not want me to see it. He reluctanly shows me said ‘list’. The only thing on it was the very last song, and of course, he is able to play from a full menu of songs that the bride and groom chose until then. So I told him again, that the family was on the dance floor and to play a more family friendly song. He said no. I told him that he was very rude to me earlier in the night and is again being rude now with very unprofessional behavior. All while, the music is blasting.The wedding was fantastic, the music that the bride & groom chose was amazing, this DJ was NOT.

Jeremy Saunders: Eric DJ'd both my wedding ceremony and reception. He was easy to work with before the wedding, making himself available, listening to what my fiancee and I wanted and didn't want, and provided some much needed guidance to us when he could tell we were getting overwhelmed. On the day of our wedding, he was on time and appropriately dressed, hit every one of his cues during the ceremony, and even helped set up the venue for our reception. The reception was great! All of our family and friends were out on the dance floor and told us how good they thought Eric was. Overall, working with Eric was a great experience and I would hire him again in a heartbeat.

His DJ set up is sleek and fits in with a nice venue, and his attitude is second to none. Eric W: We booked with DJ QFocus via DJ Harlem for our wedding and or wedding was completely off the hook. We provided a rough playlist and let QFocus do the rest. He worked his magic an there was not one dull moment the whole night. Couple things that made our night perfect. QFocus was an MC which means he has a speaking ability to introduce the couple, but also hype the crowd up, he blended the songs masterfully which allowed a nonstop playlist, he absolutely cared that everyone was dancing and lastly his hype was contagious and made us hype too!We also booked the mirror me booth which was an absolute hit!We keep joking we gonna get married again so we can repeat this party!

Kyle & Taylor Marker: Nogui was so amazing to work with from start to finish. He was quick to respond to any questions, and had regular check-in emails leading up to the wedding to make sure tasks in the portal were complete. His portal is easy to navigate and well organized. A few months before our wedding, we requested a mash-up for our choreographed father-daughter dance and gave him 4 songs that we wanted combined into about a 2-minute mash-up. The mash-up he created for us absolutely exceeded our expectations and was perfect. His energy at our wedding was upbeat and he got everyone on their feet during the reception. We cannot say enough good things about DJ Nogui!

Laura Ries: Triangle DJ was responsible for the sound and lighting at our Lenovo event, and Nogui was very responsive throughout the entire process. They provided an excellent playlist featuring both classic and contemporary music, and made sure that the volume levels were appropriate for the crowd. Shante Boone: My husband and I met Juwan from Triangle DJ about 2 1/2 years ago at the Forever Bridal Wedding Show in Raleigh, NC. During our encounter, Juwan was knowledgeable and fun-spirited. My fiancé and I both have different music tastes as well as have families with different music tastes and he truly managed to appease everyone the entire time. I think a DJ is the most important aspect because it sets the tone for the entire evening and it went absolutely perfect, better than we could’ve ever imagined. The online planner was a piece of cake (pun intended) and was so easy to work and make payment. The up lighting on the mantle behind us as well as our own personal names shining down was the icing on this cake and it was so perfect! Do yourself a favor and call Nogui/Triangle DJ.
