Andrew Chinnes: Good: Fair price, frequent updates about the status, and prompt turn around.Bad: We had a comforter our dog had just vomited on. I called them to see if they would be able to remove the stain, and they conveyed they may be able to. I dropped it off, got the update it was done, picked it up with no clarification/communication about the stain, and then to my surprise, the stain was still there.I totally understand if they’re unable to get the stain out - that’s sometimes beyond control. I would have liked if they had communicated this, though. It was disappointing thinking they solved the problem and getting home to a surprise.

Riley Cook: I have used them before and they did a good job in the past. Decided to try out the 24/7 drop off location, that was a mistake. I dropped off my clothes on Monday (7/10/23) around 10:30 am. I called on Tuesday (7/11/2023) in the morning to make sure my clothes were picked up and when they will be ready. A girl on the phone said it will be ready Wednesday (7/12/2023) by 5pm. I called to check on it. Another girl claimed that since my order was picked up Tuesday it wouldn’t be ready until Friday. I explained why that wouldn’t work because im leaving for vacation on Thursday (7/13/2023). I asked can I just pick up the clothes and she said they won’t be ready, I said right I don’t care if they are done I just need the clothes back. She said well have 4 locations so we have to look for them. I said okay I can drive to all 4 locations. She said give her an hour because they need to find them.Very disappointed in this communication and how this was handled. Will update if my clothes are found today

Stephen Pleasant: Tide Cleaners would rather be "right" than provide great customer service and this is why they have lost my business. I presented a 20% off coupon from the Tide App. and redeemed it when dropping off 10 shirts. The cost was $42.80. I asked about the 20% coupon, and the worker said it would be deducted at pickup when I paid for the order. She gave me my ticket and I left.The next day I returned to drop off 7 pairs of pants (7 @ $9.29/ea. = $65.03) and pick up my shirts. I asked again about the 20% off coupon and the worker said she saw the coupon in the system but wasn't sure why it wasn't deducting the 20%. She called someone at another store for assistance and was told that I could not use the coupon because it was for dry cleaning and my shirts were laundered. I'd never been asked whether I wanted my shirts dry-cleaned or laundered when dropping them off.I asked if they would honor the 20% anyway because I was told when I dropped the shirts off that the 20% would be deducted at pickup and that neither of us caught that the coupon was for dry cleaning. Honestly, I didn't know the difference between dry cleaning and laundering until that day. She said they could not. I told her that I'd rather take my business elsewhere if they would not honor their word. She mentioned this to whomever she was speaking to on the phone and, again, the answer was "no."Tide did not deduct the 20% which would have only been $8.56, and I paid the full price of $42.80. The worker retrieved 8 of 10 shirts and could not immediately find the 2 missing shirts. She asked if I wouldn't mind waiting while she took care of the four waiting customers. After servicing those customers, she continued to look for the two shirts without success. She called someone at another store for assistance. After looking again, she found the shirts.So, Tide Cleaners kept the $8.56 but they lost the $65.03 they would have made on my pants order. And they lost me as a customer. They’ve repaired clothes I though we’re a lost cause and given them years of extra life and tailored things better than I though possible. They even took beautiful care of my 1940’s vintage blouse. I’ve moved across town but will always be coming back here!

Alisha Foster: It’s honestly hilarious what happened here. I will start by saying I had just received these BEAUTIFUL 100% silk light-pink pillowcases from Avocado, a really wonderful eco-organic brand, and it was time to wash them for the first time. I just moved and have a new washing machine, and I didn’t know how it would treat the cases, so I decided to find a really highly-rated wash-and-fold place and ask them to wash them.Enter Highpark. When I came to pick my pillowcases up, they were folded inside-out so I couldn’t see what the inside looked like. I paid my $35 for all my wash & fold and dry cleaning and went home. That’s when I unfolded the pillowcases to discover they were spotted with grey/brown mud all over both pillowcases! As if someone had revved a car tire onto them! None of my other laundry was affected. I was so sad I called my parents, who told me to go back and show the dry cleaners.So I went back the next morning, so freaking sad because I loved these pillowcases so much and was trying to treat them well, not ruin them.Anyway I approached them really gently about the issue but their response was that they “never could have done this”. “That’s not how we do things.” The looked at me like I was lying to them. Which, I guess I was a first-time customer, who they didn’t know. But damn, it felt terrible to be looked at like that on top of my pillowcases being given back to me with mud all over them. They agreed to rewash the cases, and the second time they came back cleaner but smaller 😭 They barely fit over my pillows now and there are still a couple of spots where you can see mud faintly. They say to kill what you love, right 😭The icing on the cake was that when I mentioned the pillows were silk the woman said, “that’s not silk, it is polyester, I can always tell.” I mean, damn. How cold can you get.
mary drum: I was exited to bring my new blouses to get altered! Nothing is better than being comfortable at work. I was in and out of their location 5 times in 2 weeks. On the 4th visit I asked her to leave room in the chest and make the sides fitted. She told me no. NO. Not because of the garments structure but her own opinion. On the last visit she STILL didn’t not remember me and acted confused when I wanted to pick my items up. Look i am not saying I am so special to be remembered but I was there over twice a week for 2 weeks! The last blouse came was complete and it did NOT fit! She took to much off the chest! Rebecca Jones: The best dry cleaner and tailor ever! I’ve taken 2 gowns that looked destroyed by grass stains, and they’ve returned them in perfect condition. They’ve repaired clothes I though we’re a lost cause and given them years of extra life and tailored things better than I though possible. They even took beautiful care of my 1940’s vintage blouse. I’ve moved across town but will always be coming back here!

Derpy scott: These people are RACIST...I visited recently put my clothes in one dryer went to store to get more change came back and the lady had took my clothes out of the dryer and put them in another one with no money then she tried to tell me that I am responsible for my clothes and she didn't know what happened and they didn't want to give me back my original $.75 that I put in the dryer then the male owner then wants to curse me out in Chinese and then tell me not to come back...all because his wife took my clothes out and lied about it...I just gathered my clothes and told them I will not do business with people who steal lie and cheat their customers ..I have been living in this area for 14 years and I am familiar with the dryers and how they operate so I know I wouldn't have made a mistake......This is not the 1st time they have discriminated against me and my mother ...one time the lady owner told my mom she had to use certain dryers because other people had to dry their clothes too I guess the people who choose to wash and dry there...this is a predominantly white neighborhood and the Hispanics and blacks no longer do business there. The owners use the 1st two dryers for there drop off clients and don't want anyone to use them but if that's the case then just put a sign up...I have had these owners even give me grief about coming back at six to get my clothes out and they don't close to seven I just recommend if you go there just to be careful they really do not want black people using their facility they prefer whites only or Chinese
