Doom Scroller: I'm glad to see that others had a good experience, but we did not.My child loved going to Sylvan for math help, but they dropped him from tutoring because he did poorly on one of his math tests. Let that sink in: the tutoring service will not continue to tutor if your child needs help. Which begs the question, what is the point of Sylvan's existence if not to tutor? They refuse to give us an explanation for why they will not tutor him. It is truly bizarre since he is working a grade ahead in math and he does not have any special issues or behavioral problems. I am very upset with this place.
Beth Englert: The teachers at Sylvan are my heroes! My 7th grader fell behind from 2020-202, and he really struggled coming back into school last summer. He'd always been an A/B+ student, but the first quarter he was a B/C student, and struggling to get those grades. His outgoing personality had diminished along with his confidence.We turned to Sylvan for extra help, and he spent 2-4 hours/week with them for the next 2 quarters. During that time, the extra support, one-on-one direct instruction, and personal interaction with the Sylvan teachers did wonders for his comprehension and his confidence.We decided to let him fly solo for the last grading period. He's back to being an A/B+ student who participates in class discussions. He's back to being happy, as happy as a middle school boy can be. He's back to being a confident kid and practices good study habits. He sets higher expectations from himself because he's realized that he's capable. His teachers at Sylvan played a tremendous role, and I'm incredibly grateful to each of them for helping me get my kid back and back on track.
Cherine Ali: Sylvan has supported both of my children tremendously in vastly different ways. One child was able to significantly improve his SAT scores which in turn translated into an academic scholarship to the school of his choice. During these past 2 years of Covid, Sylvan has been essential in supporting my other child from failing classes to passing grades by offering a space that he could work in and get the 1:1 help he needed with all of the core classes. The Sylvan teachers are truly knowledgable and worked with me, my child and the school for success. Without Sylvan, my child would not be on track to graduate high school.
Tiara Sellers: My daughter did virtual learning last school year and I felt that she needed a little more help to be ready for the next grade level. I looked into Sylvan Learning as an option to get her back on track. That was the best decision I've made for my daughter. The staff at Sylvan are very professional and respectful. They care about your children and their learning. My daughter is more confident in her math work and she is reading at grade level. I can't thank the staff at Sylvan enough for all they have done. Colleen Spinato: British Swim School has been a great experience so far. They’re patient and positive with my 3 year old daughter, incorporating age appropriate songs and teaching styles so she has fun and learns water safety.

Chiquitta Phillips: The British Swim team are great. Everyone is so nice and caring. They really work with my daughter and helps build her confidence in the water. She was very scared of jumping in on her last session and Jessie was so patient with her. Kaylee also does an awesome job with her as well. Dan Brosz: We were very satisfied with the program and instructor. Our daughter loved the class and was always excited to go there. Their approach to learning how to swim is very smart being survival first. We wish there was a British Swim School in our new town.

Derek Tarrant: We went to Aqua Tots and had what seemed to be a traumatic experience as they really forced our kid to go underwater. It scarred him for some time. He has been to BSS 3 times and we already see great progress. The team is amazing, very hands on, and really seem to have a better approach to water safety and confidence.
