Page Farms: what do users think?
Girija Yegnanarayanan: Excellent picking experience. Plenty of just right strawberries on Saturday (June 3) when we were there. It did become pretty crowded by 9:30 am but the children enjoyed the whole experience!
Irina *****: Love it, spent a beautiful time there with my son
tjcnc60: Friendly staff. Plenty of delicious strawberries. The parking lot was a field so quite bumpy. But the quality of the produce more than made up for it.
Paula Bogar Sylvestre: Amazing u-pick experience. My toddler just loved. Fair prices for the fun experience. Sweet strawberries 🍓
Liz Turpin: Amazing strawberries and beautiful flowers.
Saikiran S: Best farm for strawberry’s picking.
holly dart: Our strawberries were delicious! We liked the setting and had a great time picking them. The crop was abundant! The snapdragons were also gorgeous in full bloom.
mark page: Great peopleGreat placeGreat cattle
Sunny Gu: Super sweet & juicy strawberries, shaded play ground for kids, cute farm animals, great view of occasional airplanes taking off or landing in nearby airports, beautiful flowers, seasonal produce for purchase, friendly staff…I could go on and on about this wonderful farm, go, you won’t regret. If you have a little one(s), it’s going to be a favorite place.
Andrew Rindos: Take a look at the soil, it's dead. The strawberry that grow and all other crops are tasteless. Prices are high too. If the owners are listening, you really need to bring your soil back to life, whatever you are doing is not working.
Jonah Bishop: Picking strawberries here as a family is one of our favorite spring activities! The folks here are very friendly, and the quality of the strawberries is fantastic. Definitely a place to return to!
Jason Chalmers: Nothing like a fresh picked 🍓
Carla Matthew, BSBM, PM: We went on a field trip and it was awesome! Got lots of strawberries...
An Aki: Really nice place!
J. Franks: Not open to the public except for special events, such as corn mazes during October. Wonderful place to visit if you're tired of the nearby city though.
Jennifer Palmer: This location has become a yearly pumpkin picking ritual for my family. We really enjoy the scenery and all the amazing activities.
C R: Fun for younger kids. Needs just a bit more variety of games. Overall, not bad.
Jonti Talukdar: The farm was lovely. Today is the last day for the pumpkin patch, and most of the pumpkins are gone, but still quite fun to walk around the patch. Also, the sunflower fields still had a lot of colour to them.
Brian Maglietta: Great place for the kids! Nice long hayride and the cow ride was fun and surprisingly fast. You also in the end you pick your own pumpkin when you're there. Only reason is not 5 stars is it's not real big compared to others I have been to.
Queenie Gael LeBlanc: Had an awesome time for our son's first pumpkin patch! It was a quick visit but worth it.
Natasha Wells: Great time for all! Pumpkin patch, hay rides, slides, swings, farm animals, and the infamous corn pit!

Nanue's Farm: what do users think?
Leslye Mondragon: The most beautiful and tasty lettuce. So many varieties. Outstanding quality and flavor. Thank you for growing such lovely greens!
Jonathan Miller: Best I ever had!
Mason Portell: Nanue's farm grows excellent lettuce. We received a batch of two varieties that were in season and they were both crisp and delicious, and all of the heads were rich in color. Beats out all store bought lettuce. Very happy with the quality. :)

Castle French Farm: what do users think?
Cassie Pinter: Do not work here if you are a woman
Jeffrey Bugajski: Do not board your horse here. They do not feed them. Owner is old and does not involve his self in the daily happenings. They have a "barn manager" that lives on site, but it really no help. Stay away.
frida ramirez: When being in communication with this people at first they are nice but it’s a trick, then they show their true colors.
Billy Barlow: I can't speak for the other reviews or how they were treated. I know that I personally lived on the property for several months. At first I thought it was a dream location and opportunity. I travel all over with work and my wife travels with me. I have been in the construction industry for over 30 years, not to much I cant handle. My Wife, she was raised on a Ranch in Montana, was on a horse before she could walk. She has an Equine Science degree and was a VET - TECH/ Assistant for many years. ( she knows HORSES). Just a little back ground. We had an agreement that I would replace all the broken Fence post along the front main road, in return I could park my Rv in his Back lot where he had had an Rv parked before. The agreement was if I could get 4 post a week he would be happy. I put in 18 post the first day I worked on the post. ( just to say it was a pain having to deal with him on how to do the post way to much to type to explain but it was rough getting started.) Once I got started It went better. My wife also offered to help around Stables and with the horses with what ever he needed. (which she did) Then he ask if my wife if she would be interested in working everyday at the stables and he would pay her Because she was such a great woman.... she said sure. ( and he would tell me every time I seen him You have a great woman she is amazing - and I should know. not really sure what that meant. He also made many other unappropriated statements. -Everyday it was if you were dealing with a different man, He is very forgetful so if you deal with him write it down. One day he would praise how great of a job you are doing and tell you how grateful he was to have us there and the help was awesome. Then the next day he would tell us we were a problem and we made him so aggravated and he wanted us to leave, - of course this started after I replaced all the broken Fence post along the front road way. he can be as nice a person you would want to be around and then be as rude as hell for no reason, he is very temperamental and Who knows what sets him off. But I guess when your 80 plus you can be how ever you want. But he final draw came when a tree fell across the path way around the back of the property and we ask if he wanted us to cut and remove the tree, he said yes and even gave my wife access to his chain saw. which I do have and carry one with me. after we removed the tree from the road way around the pasture, He said he didn't know why we used his chain saw why we cut the tree up like we did fired my wife and told us to move, had my wife crying and calling me at work telling me he kick us out and we have to move. when ask how long will you give us to find another place to move to .....He said just take you time no rush. There is so much more to this and things he did to make me think he is suffering with some kind of mental disorder. As I stated before one day to the next your not sure which one you are going to deal with. All I tried to do was help out, I love working around ranches and farms.I am an honest person (not prefect there was only one prefect man)So if you deal with Him Good luck...P.S. His wife was a great person to be around what few times I met her.Yes I have Move out..........
Michelle Horinka: Called to inquire about a job, and was very irritated with how I was treated over the phone. This man was very rude, corrected me about how I had asked about their help wanted sign right off the bat, and discredited how I had worked with horses in the past and continued to ask me the same questions over and over even after I had honestly answered them time and again. The call was a very short one, as I was no longer willing to continuously listen to someone so rude. I was willing to work and love horses very much and have taken care of quite a few. Family friends have had horses that I would take care of quite often. Don't know how anyone could work for such a rude man.
Sara Manzoni: Terrible, basically not operating anymore
Anna Burchfield: I came to this farm after seeing an ad for horse barn help. I called up and stated I was interested in working to the man who answered. He asked me about my experiences, so I started with what I always do in interviews, my B.S. degree. Upon mentioning the college I attended, he interrupted me (first red flag here) and immediately began talking about how and I quote "dont know what they are doing over there". I politely tried to continue the conversation with bringing up my horse handling experiences, and we eventually set up an interview for the following day for me to go to the farm....The next day, I came to the farm and sat down with the older man to get to know him. I introduced myself to the two women in the room and then sat down. He again asked me to describe my experience. I brought up that I had a B.S. in Animal Science and had taken various graduate farm management classes, nutrition, etc. Immediately interrupting me and discrediting my degree, he went on a long tangent about his negative personal experiences at the educational facility I studied regarding a horse and A.I. If you know anything about A.I. , you know that the horse does not often get pregnant after one go around. It's science. (second flag)Never once did I ever try to describe that I knew more than him, or more than anyone for that matter. To make things shorter, every single experience I listed (about 8 years worth of my life here) he discredited and berated me about how I was taught to do things the wrong way, and how the people who taught me in the past didn't know what they were talking about. He got particularly nasty with me when I mentioned I took lessons with a hunter/jumper and dressage trainer because he "didnt know her name" and "she never won any awards". She has, in fact but I did not bring this up because I knew by the way things were going that I was not going to change his mind. And that was fine, I was only looking for a position feeding horses - nothing super extensive here.He went on to walk me around the farm. Besides the barren pastures (I accredited this to the wintertime of course), things looked great. The feeding procedures were innovative, unique and I could tell he definitely knows what he's doing. He had lots of amazing amenities on the farm - a european exerciser, hay huts in every pasture, a HUGE indoor riding arena and a gorgeous barn (15ish stalls?). The innovative feeding strategies allowed employees to work smarter, not harder. There was only one man there at the time mucking stalls, which I thought was odd. I normally see much more than one employee on farms, including boarding horse owners, riders coming to exercise their horses, etc. I thought that was odd. However, as the interview progressed I can understand why this farm had nobody wanting to board their own horses there.(third flag)Throughout the extent of the interview, this man was extensively rude, derogatory and blatantly disrespectful to me. I have NEVER experienced such awful, rather "childish" behavior out of a person who was experienced in business, and had been in the horse business for over 60 years. It was almost like he was doing it to prove that he knew more than me and that his way was the only right way.I had the notion to leave as soon as we finished our initial talk before the walk about the farm, but something told me I should try to stick it out in hopes I could turn it around. I can honestly say, I can understand why he has no current boarding horses regardless of the beautiful and (again) innovative facilities - nobody wants to pay for boarding only to be berated every time they visit their horse. That being said, I know there are a few people who have had positive experiences, and I only posted this review to potentially warn others of how terrible I felt afterwards. Kudos to you for being able to stick around this nasty man.
Michael Jacob Gore: Called to inquire about a job and got ridiculed and judged because I didn't meet the owner's expertise. I'm in school, and was just looking for part time work shoveling manure or trimming a bush, but the owner apparently thinks this requires a master. I was just looking for a yes or no answer, not to be preached at for five minutes. I should have hung up the phone instead of allowing him to waste my time.
Gaultier Lodge: Wonderful Silk the kindest best horse in the world we all love her 😚😚😚
Kerry Dyer: Boarding horse is reasonable. Lesson is also reasonable
K D: A wonderful farm owned by a really nice family. I have worked there as a trainer for two years and I really enjoyed it. The most horse friendly and professional place I know in this region.
susan novotny: I'm confused about some of these reviews. I've worked at the farm for almost a year. I have never seen or met these people in the below reviews. I'm not sure how you can rate someplace you've never been. The owner and the trainer both live on the property. It's a joy to go to work every day. The turnover of stall cleaners is because they don't do it right or aren't interested in working. Some people come once or twice then don't show up again without the manners to at least call and say they're not coming back. These horses are well taken care and are loved. These animals are friendly and gentle which wouldn't be the case if they were mistreated. Boarding and lessons are available so come out and see the farm. Make up your own mind instead of following negative reviews. The owner is extremely nice and knowledgeable. The trainer is very good at teaching beginners on up. She is very friendly and teaches you at your level
Joanna McCoy: Behind the scene the owner is extremely rude towards his workers and has a high turnover rate with stable help. Your not guaranteed consistent workers, or workers with experience.
mike james: The owner is a creep. Takes advantage of laborers and is very mean to horses
istodorov: The horses and the base looked in good condition, but the people were very impolite and rude. I don't recommend

Carousel Farms Arena: what do users think?
Katya Tsvetkov: Amazing boarding services/care for horses as well as trail rides in the woods and riding lessons. My horse and I love it there and highly recommend Carousel Farms to everyone for any purpose.
Va Ve: Thank you for your great shows and hard work !!Carousel Farms does much more than host bull rides, rodeos and other events for our community. In fact, they offer full farm services to our patrons. Whether you need boarding for your animals, are interested in breeding or are looking to try your hand at horseback riding with lessons to get you up to snuff, we’ve got you covered.
Keileb Gutierrez: It's a great little rodeo.Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiioohfhfhfhfhfjfhfufjfjfjgjgjjffufjgjfjgjgjgjgjgjgjfjfjgjfjfjfjfjfjfjfjfjfjfjgjgjgjfjfhfhfhffjfjfjuhhhfhfhfhfhfhfhfhfhfhfhfhfhfhfhfufhfufhfhfhfuf
Ashley Roberson: Owner’s teenaged son threatened my 12 year old daughter and called her a racial slur. She did not know him, this was unprovoked. Poor family values. Would not recommend supporting this business.
Charles Abbott: Good family entertainment. Metal benches can be hard to sit on after awhile.
Matthew McLaughlin: Great experience! My son (3) wants to be a cowboy now. Cash only so heads up!
Shawna Bishop: Great rodeo!
Jessica Hellar: Our family loves it!
Brian -Crimanon- Simpson: I am attempting to contact Google about this review. I've never been to Carousel Farms nor heard of it until this morning.Sorry about the one star.
Randy Parnell: Great entrainment for the whole family. Activities for all ages during the summer rodeo season. They even have a Christmas event at the Hunt Horse Complex in December. Always double check the website for the latest information.
Donald Stem: Family oriented entertainment. The season is over fit this year. There are activities for all ages.
Mike Joesph: Absolutely rude service to people who call to ask a simple question. Going as far as giving your number to the Wake County Sheriff's department is completely unnecessary when they did not trespassing of any sort.
JODEE ALPISER: I have not actually been in to Carousel Farms, but I looked at the facility from the front gate and it is a beautiful place. So many beautiful horses enclosed in pastures surrounded by white fencing. Since finding Carousel Farms, I intend to visit a.s.a.p. Sounds so eventful and exciting!

Hunt's Strawberries: what do users think?
Irene Ulloa Dobles: We had a lovely time here. It was the last day for strawberry picking but there were still so many great, juicy, bright red delicious strawberries. There was nobody in the counter that day because they had an “honor system”, you leave the money under a box, grab a bucket, fill it with strawberries and take it home. Worked pretty good for us, we had a fun relaxing time picking them, we were the only ones there (Sunday around 5-6pm) so it was great! We had yummy strawberries that whole next week, $15 the bucket totally worth it for how many you can pick and how yummy they are! Will come back next year for sure
Rhonda Adkins: A great place to get your strawberries, honey 🍯 and pound cake.
Rich S.: Berries were very small and sparse compared to another local field. We decided to try something different. For us, it was very far away and it took about 30 minutes, 2 people picking, just to fill a bucket. Price was reasonable. They were also VERY nice people.
elizabeth cintron: To be clear, it is possible to have a lot of fun on a strawberry patch for 1.5+ hours with little kids.1. The patch is in several rows throughout an open area with plenty of room for other pickers. If it rained the day before, bring boots as there may be a few small puddles and you won’t want the kiddos trampling strawberries trying to get around them.2. The strawberries are SWEET and JUICY. We chose to pick ones that were ALL RED (not even a tip of white) and couldn’t have asked for a better more flavorful experience.3. Kids in our group were ages 4-7 years old. There are simple rules that are easy to follow and the farmers will call you out if you aren’t following them lol (they did so in a sweet and reasonable manner). I appreciated this as it made the picking experience enjoyable for everyone and I also want their crops to remain in tact for when we come back! :)4. I believe they only accept cash and check (no card) but their pricing system was more than fair and they even sold small cakes the day we came.5. I can’t express enough how kind, charming, and generous the people were. My son wants to come back just to talk to the elderly gentleman again.
Wolf: Cash only, $15 a bucket.
Dan Thompson: Great strawberries! Super flavorful and juicy! $15/bucket! Really nice people! You won’t be disappointed. They ONLY accept paper money, and maybe a check? Would be nice to see Hunts and Popes also accept modern forms of payment, like debit cards, Venmo, CashApp, PayPall, Zelle, ApplePay….just to name a few. LoL But, just be sure to remember to stop by the ATM first before going… And also store your strawberries in GLASS JARS until you’re ready to eat them, they LAST LONGER! Don’t wash them yet or remove their stems. 😁🍓👍
Angie Hartley: We love to go Hunts Strawberries!! My kids enjoy picking their own strawberries. So fresh! So Delicious!! If you bring your own bucket they give you $1 off.
Funtela Mebane: Love visiting this strawberry patch.
Hannah Wubb: Amazing as always - been coming since 2019, and the fruit is always gorgeous. 👌 owners are fun and always down to chat, plants are healthy and neat, and the price is excellent! One of the best hidden gems of Raleigh!
Rachel Lee Brady: Wonderful family farm! Delicious berries
Harish G: I just drove by,and am astonished by just looking. Will stop by to experience the farm soon.
Tony Beasley: Best strawberries ever!!!!
Brian Endicott: Best tasting berries in the area. Staff is super friendly. Great fun for children and adults.
Megan King: The best in NC. Very sweet. Nice owner and workers.
P Tyner: They have the best strawberries around! And the prices are very reasonable.
Tom McSweeney: This late in strawberry season, some fields have hardly any red berries at all. Hunt's had too many - most were over-ripe. Still, lots of perfectly ripe ones, we filled two buckets in 45 min. Delicious too!
tamra cunningham: Great experience.
S Gruver: Great strawberry. A bit overpriced at $15 but worth it.
Thouffik Riswan: This is our first time strawberry picking experience. We enjoyed a lot with the kids. It’s like Easter egg hunt for the kids to find the strawberries hiding under the leaves. They accept cash. Amount is $15 per bucket.
Diane White: Strawberries are deliciously sweet! Very easy to pick. Nice raised beds. Had a wonderful time picking with my granddaughters! Thank you!
Laurie White: Great place to go for strawberries. Very nice attendants!!!! Lots of space so you dont feel like you are crowded by other people.

North Carolina State Farmers Public Market: what do users think?
Cassandra Serre: I love the selection of plants, produce, and other goods!
Stacey: Beautiful farmer's market with many shelters of vendors to ship from!
Richard Grablin: Have visited several times, although it's open year round, on summer visits the vendors are more likely to have what you want. Recomend walking around and comparing prices before buying, some vendors have lower prices. Parking lot is crazy on busy days. One of our favorite stores lost its lease and is now closing, hope it's replaced with something just as appealing.
Heather: Went on a Monday and not too many vendors there. It was easy to navigate because it wasn’t crowded.
Brian Sudol: If you go during the week it great weekend is crowded
Eva Kennedy: Very nice and wide selection of fruit and vegetables. All the stands were very nice and staff were very friendly.
Barry Portier: Local greatness
Michael J. Reilly III: Sooooo much to choose from. Produce and pricing are great. The plant vendors have incredible inventory. Love this place.
Tyrone Scott: great place to spend a Sunday morning
Judeth Hopkins: It is dog and kid friendly in most places. But it is tight with the amount of people. The produce was good quality and we enjoyed our experience.
Luke Pool: Go here quite a bit. Only problem today I got stiffed 5 ears of corn after paying for 12. Was carrying other stuff so didn't notice until later.
Ieshia “Bozilady Wellness” Baskett: Always a hit to see the Fire Works for the children.
Kim Parker: We go here just about every Saturday to have breakfast at the Market Restaurant and then by fresh produce. I love to cook and thus allows me to have a fresh and in season menu.
Susan Hasty: Wonderful place for fresh food and lovely people!
Mikhail: Local and fresh
Jamie Slagel: Real farmers. Real growers. Delicious and nutritious. Top ten North Carolina treasure.
Billy Olsen: A great destination for all the variety of NC agriculture! The Farmers' Market restaurant offers friendly staff and the familiar hospitality not found in chain dining. The Market itself is the kind of place where you can spend the day or make a quick trip - subject to seasonal traffic of course!
Nathan Vey: Great place to get local produce and good eats. Not so busy on weekdays particularly Mondays, though many of the shops that sell finished goods are closed. We still got some great blueberries from Lee's and a pretzel and lemon bar from Annelore's, all great!
Holly Sullenger: Always a great place for fresh fruit and veggies.
Yolanda S: Awesome selections
Julie Carlino: The vendors at this outdoor market are always so sweet. Clean and full of people this Saturday

Dorothy Bobo: Saw this side nursery off Creedmoore Rd coming back fromFalls Lake Park. I had to stop.Beautiful hanging plants, annuals and perennials.Saw the perfect purple flowering plant to attract bees, butterflies and hummers. What a nice little nursery. Maybe a pop up but so much to choose from.
