UNC Fertility: Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill: what do users think?
lovelin horton: I am a patient at UNC fertility and extremely happy with services I have received so far. As a health care professional myself I couldn’t have asked for anything different. I had Reagan as my nurse throughout my IVF process and trust when I say she is good, compassionate ,knowledgeable and follows up effectively. Now why would you get a different doctor if you can get Dr Neal Perry. She is awesome, cares for her patients and most importantly very knowledgeable and skillful. I have been happy throughout my process. They all gave me adequate education and information regarding this process and everything when well. I am greatful.Front desk, every-time I walked in the door, she called me by my name, how wonderful is that. They actually know their patients. It’s not just numbers to them. I love itLovelin N and Fai F
K J: I’m extremely disappointed in the care I received. I had a consult then an ultrasound, that was not fully explained to me what they were looking for and blood work and the first thing said to me was that if I wanted a baby to consider a donor egg. I DO make my own eggs! I asked about my husband being tested and they never said he should. No one has ever called me back to see about following up and having more tests.I just wanted tests to see why I wasn’t getting pregnant on my own.I will never go here again. Such lack of compassion. Care has gone downhill since Dr. Merseraux left.
Tiffany Pendergraft: I first started going to this clinic back in November 2021 and so far the experience has been pleasant. I will say that the communication could be a little better towards the front end of the process, but they have addressed the staff shortage recently, which makes more sense. As we're preparing for our first IVF Cycle in December with Nurse Raegan, (She is awesome!!) communication has been excellent. She is very quick to respond and to get us the information we need. We are very excited to be working with her and Dr. Neal-Perry for our transfer.
christine salama: I started with this clinic about 5 months ago . We did all the tests and labs and dr decided that the best plan for us is IUI. We started in July. All of a sudden they said they don’t do IUI on Sundays then while I was in a middle of an IUI cycle , they sent me an email that starting 9/16 /22 they will not do any IUI at all. This is so frustrating. If you need IUI , please stay away from this clinic.
Bm779q: Very irritated. Had to fight for scheduling. Fight to get IUI meds, then the clinic is no longer doing IUIs on weekends, so if you ovulate over the weekend your screwed. Try again next month. Currently booked for IVF through the end of 2022 and not scheduling for 2023. Doctors/nurses walk into the room and have no idea what procedure your going in for. I had to tell them...did you not read my chart? 30-45min waits are common, yet they will drop your appointment if you are 5 min late.. They seem to have high staffing turn over which makes one wonder if management is creating a hostel work environment for employees. Going to try Wake Med. Fertility... maybe they staff appropriately and would like our business instead?...
Priscila Angulo: No one ever answers the phone, it’s been impossible to get a follow-up appointment. What’s the point of getting all the labs and tests if nothing actionable is going to come from it?
Tiffany Williams: Very poor time management on their end. Friendly staff though. The front desk and the doctor were very friendly and helpful.
Alexis Hunt: I already feel less than a priority. I was scheduled for a telemedicine consult yesterday and no call or email.
Heather Francis: Edit! They were going through some software updating and seems like all the kinks have been worked out "mostly" Great team and love how prompt they are on getting back to me.
Stefanie Schwartz: In my experience, UNC fertility treated me as a number instead of a patient. Each time I went the doctor/nurses had no idea what the plan was or what the next steps were for me. I had to remind them. Going through infertility is very difficult and it is imperative to have a competent, supportive medical team, which UNC fertility lacks. It’s been a year since I last went and no one has reached out to me to ask if I was still interested in their services. Since then, I’ve changed clinics, complete a round of IVF and delivered my baby a few weeks ago.
Iris Friedman: We switched clinics after a year with Carolina Conceptions. We needed a change after a loss and found Dr. Bressler at UNC Fertility. She began with some hypotheses based on our two previous IVF cycles and immediately scheduled my husband and I for follow-up diagnostic testing. Dr. B also got feedback from the other doctors and made us feel like she was doing everything she could to get us some answers, even though we didn't end up with anything new. When we jumped into our third IVF cycle, we were cautiously optimistic given that not much had changed, but in the final days before the egg retrieval, Dr. B encouraged us to go one extra day beyond what she'd normally recommend based on advice from her colleagues. We did and ended up with the most successful egg retrieval we've had yet. Even though she didn't do the egg retrieval procedure, she checked in later that day to celebrate the great results. She continued checking in throughout the week and made us feel like she was just as invested as we were in our embryos. We did a frozen embryo transfer a few weeks later and ended up with a positive pregnancy test! When I experienced heavy bleeding after a week, Dr. B treated us with empathy and clarity. She encouraged us to continue scheduling ultrasounds as we needed for our own sanity.Honestly, when we finally graduated and started to see our Ob-Gyn, we had some culture shock. We were just a number to the Ob-Gyn's office and we realized how spoiled we had been at UNC Fertility. Thank you to the entire staff for the incredible care we received. We're so excited to meet our 5BB embryo!
Kurtis S: I highly recommend this clinic. Doctor Matthew Coward is probably the most AMAZING doctor I've ever had the privilege of being treated by. If you have to wait a little while to get an appointment believe me it is well worth it and there is a reason for it. Number 1 he is an amazing doctor. Number 2 he doesn't like to Squeeze a bunch of patience in the day, he spends time with each patient, he sat with me for over an hour talking about my options. Again, I highly recommend this clinic and Dr. Coward.
Michael Eggers: Where do I begin?Short version: Dr. Matt Coward and his team were awesome to work with. Both supportive and patient, I can't imagine getting this far with anyone else. More than a year ago I was diagnosed with Non-Obstructive Azoospermia. Now, after a successful MicroTESE operation, my wife and I are ready to move forward to the next step in our fertility journey.Long version: After my diagnosis, Dr. Coward was good about laying all my options out before me so that I could make an informed decision, but ultimately he left the final decision up to me. The clinic also put my wife and I in touch with an excellent counselor who I would be more than happy to refer anyone to.It took me more than a year of counseling, discussions with my wife, and trying alternate paths before I was ready to undergo the MicroTESE procedure. When my wife and I finally reached out to discuss the MicroTESE, Dr. Coward remembered who we were and our story as if we had just spoken the week before. He was quick to answer any questions we had and I could tell he was on our side.I had assumed that I would have a horrible night's sleep the night before the procedure, but honestly it was one of the best night's of sleep I'd had in a long while. The next day, if nothing else, promised answers, and maybe some closure if the results didn't turn out well. I went into the procedure with 100% confidence in Dr. Coward and his team, and I'm rarely 100% confident about anything. While I was being operated on, my wife sat in a room nearby anxiously awaiting results. She was doing her best to manifest a positive outcome when one of the nurses rushed in, almost in tears, to tell her that they had found viable sperm. Dr. Coward was so excited when they started finding samples that he sent someone to tell my wife right away. All in all they extracted 9 samples of sperm, far exceeding all of our expectations.Still coming out of the daze of general anesthesia, the whole morning is honestly a blur to me, I vaguely recall tears, hugs, and excitement as the staff congratulated us on the results.I know that I am a lucky case, and that not all MicroTESE's are this successful. But, even if the outcome had been opposite, I would still have written some version of this review. My confidence wasn't that they would retrieve sperm that morning. I was confident that if there was sperm there to be found, they would find it. And that's an important distinction. As Dr. Coward would put it, the results aren't really up to him. There is always some level of uncertainty going into a MicroTESE procedure. But you can be confident that if there is sperm, he and his team will do everything within their power to achieve a positive outcome. The staff at UNC Fertility cares. I have no doubt that their hearts are with all of their patients, no matter what shape their fertility journey takes.Infertility is a roller coaster ride, and there are just as many ups as downs. Our journey isn't over, but we're one step closer.
Vikings Passion: Worst billing department. I would not recommend.
Rick & Rebecca: I keep calling and calling and no one has gotten back to me in weeks
Heather Jackson: The treatment that my husband and I have received at UNC Fertility has been amazing. We went through a year and a half of visits, tests, and referrals before finally arriving at UNC Fertility. From that moment forward, we gained a better understanding of what was going on and how we could achieve pregnancy. The entire staff is sensitive, caring, and friendly. The nurses are amazing and have walked us every step through the IVF process. The doctors are trustworthy and truly are the best at what they do.Communication has been key to settling my anxious mind. Communication through the portal is super quick and you have access to ask questions to anyone you need through there. I chose the email route for our IVF Coordinator and she was amazing. Any questions I had she answered them quickly. This journey has been a lot and we’re only in the beginning phases of it. However, the care and support from UNC Fertility has just been extraordinary. And even that feels cheap saying. I’m beyond thankful to be in their care and have lots of hope for mine and my husband’s future.
Clarissa L.: Absolutely loved my experience with this Clinic, they were all very professional and worked diligently to help each patient that contacts them. I had access to nursing staff at all hours via Patient Portal and email. Highly recommend Dr. Mersereau and her team of highly skilled professionals.
Holly Carter: Amazing experience with the egg freezing process. I have cancer so had to freeze my eggs ASAP before treatment. Kristy made me feel 100x better about everything and was there every step of the process. She gave such detailed demonstrations, directions to take home and checked in with me as much in person as possible. The financial lady also spent almost 2 days working with me to check every option possible. The staff that takes blood and directs everyone also became familiar with me as you go in so often during the process, it was somewhat enjoyable to go to the “doctors”. I got 19 eggs and am so thankful for everything!!!! 10/10 recommend UNC fertility!
Gracei Sg: *As person who works in healthcare, I am quite particular & did heaps of research who I’m going to consult / see as my doctor esp. fertility issues. After reading lots of reviews & asking healthcare insiders- Dr. Marc Fritz came highly recommended. Husband & I came to see him one fine day & I’ll tell you- Dr. Fritz is not only extremely knowledgeable but he came across as a kind, caring & compassionate individual, explained information in easy to remember & understandable way in a well-paced time. He answered all our questions in a respectable manner. Plus, he was quick-thinking in a sense that on that day I had blood test for diagnostic/genetic testing (saves time & effort). I highly recommend the truly great Dr. Fritz! Thank you Dr. for all that YOU do! You rock! 👏👏👏* The UNC Fertility Clinic - strategically-located, clean, practiced COVID-protocols. Easy to make appointment. Front Desk staff ANNA - was helpful & accomodating.👏👏👏*PATRICE - the phlebotomist, great manners & excellent @ what she do.👏👏 Drawn my blood successfully on the first attempt - vein sharpshooter!😀Summing up, UNC Fertility Clinic - thumbs up!👍👍👍📌Kindly like if you find this review helpful. Thanks.
Molly Rouse: UNC Fertility provided the best experience for my husband and I. Everyone that works there from the nurses and doctors to the office staff made us incredibly comfortable going through a process that can bring up lots of emotions. We are so excited to be expecting our first child thanks to UNC Fertility.
Cee Emm: I want to be clear that I hear good things about UNC's practitioners. However, we were comparison pricing IVF cycles between different clinics and UNC Fertility's financial counselors told us that they couldn't give pricing specifics and that we should plan for "between $12,000 and $24,000" for an IVF cycle. Other local clinics were able to give us line item prices for retrieval, frozen embryo transfer, ICSI, etc. (I should be clear that no clinic can give clear pricing for medication, as dosages and regimens differ and the pricing is up to the pharmacy). It's extremely strange that a medical office can't explain the cost of a self-pay procedure, or at least price items like retrieval and FET with the understanding that the cost of monitoring visits and repeated consultations can stack up.

Carolina Conceptions: what do users think?
Claire Almay: My husband and I came to Carolina Conceptions after 2 years of trying to conceive. We felt like all chances were lost, but we regained hope after several meetings and tests were completed by Dr. Bowling. After 7 months of treatments (medication, trigger shot, lots of tears and prayers), we conceived our two healthy twin boys! We could not be happier with the treatment and empathy we were provided through Carolina Conceptions, we will forever be grateful that we got to grow our family in this imperfectly perfect way.
Michele Kerns: I’ve been a patient a Carolina conceptions since 2019. I was seen by Dr.Bowling and she did a full work-up I was found to have a uterine septum and endometriosis. The best treatment for me was to do IVF I moved forward with this treatment and at first I wanted to wait we used other treatment options like medication first. I was able to successfully get pregnant through IVF. Dr. Bowling was very patient with me I really was negative and didn’t think I would be a mom but she always encouraged me to keep trying! She told me “women that become mothers don’t give up” so I didn’t give up! I highly recommend this clinic. Dr Parker is also very nice and knowledgeable I was seen with him a few times. The office staff is very friendly and my favorite nurse was Courtney she is very compassionate and knowledgeable about infertility. I also really connected with Sandra the financial supervisor she is very down to earth! And easy to talk too! I also recommend to look on the CDC before choosing a fertility clinic you’ll find that this is one of the best in NC.
Emilee Rutter: Highly recommend Carolina Conceptions! We had the best experience working with Dr. Johnson, as well as Dr. Park and NP Karen & PA Lexie. Every visit we were welcomed with positivity from the front desk staff and continuous support from the lab techs and nurses. After three medicated IUI cycles, we are expecting our first baby thanks to the help of the incredible CC team!
Zhara Hall: After 3 losses and multiple doctors, going to Dr. Johnson and going through our options was our best choice. She went over every diagnostic, option, and answered all our questions. Now my husband and I are expecting our first baby with their help and we can't be happier! I'm so sad to be moving on to my regular OB but very thankful this team was here for my family.
F: Only out to get the consultation fee. Save your money.
Daniel Haithcox: We wish we had come here first! We had been working with another clinic previously, and Carolina Conceptions is so much better. The folks here, from the front office staff to the nurses, doctors, and other staff members, are total pros, helpful, sensitive, empathetic, and understanding. They have made what can be such an overwhelming process so much more easy to handle, and the support they provide is so genuine and effective. Thank you!
D Daniel: This practice is amazing. Great communication and service throughout our whole process of undergoing IUI from everyone that we encountered. Extra HUGE shoutout to our nurse, Mrs. Karen, for taking great care of us and being so incredibly patient and informative. We could not be more happy with the level of care rendered here. This was our very first IUI cycle and it worked!!!! Thank you Carolina Conceptions!
Lilia Ramirez: I absolutely love Carolina Conceptions, infertility has been a very long journey for my husband and I about 19 years. Dr. Parks office was the best decision I could have ever made, Thank you to Dr Park & his wonderful team here. This process was not an easy process, the stuff were always friendly and welcoming. Made you feel so comfortable in being able to talk to them. We are enjoying our little bundle of joy, she is 7 months now. I highly reccomend Carolina Conceptions if you are trying to conceive, Dreams do come true here at CAROLINA CONCEPTIONS.
Emily Carletto: As a first-year medical student, I had the privilege of shadowing some of the physicians, PA’s, and nurses at Carolina Conceptions. I was thoroughly impressed at how well the practice is run. Throughout my time observing, I was welcomed and treated with respect by everyone working there. The staff is extremely compassionate and works hard to meet the needs of each patient.
Khaoula Jabour: Worst service... spent months to just get an appointment.. after the consultation they didn't file the claim so I paid everything out of my pocket.. my insurance been trying to contact the about the claim, I also left a voice message for them but no one is answering!!!!
Christopher Luntz: Does not take Tricare.
Rebekah Bibb: Earlier this year I attempted 5 iui rounds through CC. I’m not giving two stars because they didn’t work. With my blocked Fallopian tube diagnosis IUI’s were a long shot. My review is based on multiple consistent issues I had throughout those 5 months. The first was with billing. When I began there was a generous military discount, but without warning it was gone and prices dramatically increased. I also always seemed to have issues checking out or with billing.Second was that I only talked to my doctor at the consultation and for one iui procedure. Other than those two times, I got the opinion of whoever happened to be there that day. If I wanted my actual doctor’s opinion or confirmation that she agreed with the present doctor’s opinion, I had to schedule a appointment with her and pay extra just for her confirmation. The third issue I had was with ultrasounds. I have a blocked left Fallopian tube, but because of a weak right kidney, my left ovary was unfortunately the ovulation champ. Every month we found my left ovary had the larger follicles while my right only had the larger follicle on menopur one out of the 5 months. Almost without fail, every ultrasound tech would get excited looking at the left ovary and say, “You got some big ones over here!” I’d immediately feel relief thinking I actually had a shot. But then they would remember that my left tube is blocked and say, “Oh but the left tube is blocked right?” Or, I would have to tell them the left tube is blocked. It’s almost like no one read my chart which sent me on a emotional rollercoaster that would be completely avoidable. I remember having to explain my blockage to multiple techs. The fourth issue I had was with records. I ended up moving shortly after the last failed IUI and was planning on doing IVF at a new clinic. I requested my records for myself and for my new clinic. I waited the two weeks, and they were never sent. Once I’m followed up, I was told to complete the forms that I already submitted. I made it clear it was already done. Only then did they realize this and sent my records immediately. However, my records only contained my initial consultation information. It had nothing about my 5 iui attempts including medications, follicles, or if an iui was done. I had to use screenshots from my portal to get this info. Overall I felt like a number and my specific health concerns were never fully addressed or tested.I ended up at a clinic in northern VA and IVF resulted in my first ever pregnancy. I had the best experience at this clinic.CC is good if you are just starting out, but if you feel like you need more specialized care, don’t be afraid to get get a second opinion. I’ve had three friends all begin at CC and we have all gone to other clinics.
Autumn Fox: Dr. Meyer, Dr. Park, Megan, and staff are wonderful! We conceived our IUI twins after our 2nd IUI. We love the care we received during and after our IUI. Definitely recommend!
Raymond F: This place is the worst fertility clinic. We were treated like just a number and rushed through the expensive consultation. They would not even answer any of our questions. It was more like speaking to a lawyer than it was a doctor. The real point of frustration is when we were doing our consultation with finance we asked " okay how much will this be"? Finance person got up and we could hear her talking smack about us in the hallway to another employee criticizing for us for asking the cost instead of just starting.Edit: and the vague generic reply is exactly what i am taking about with this place. We did spend $1,000 in tests alone and each bill was a surprise since they would CRITICIZE IS EVERY TIME WE WOULD ASK ANY QUESTIONS!!! A MEDICAL PLACE THAT DOES NOT ALLOW ANY QUESTIONS FROM THE PATIENT SHOULD BE SHUTDOWN!UNC FERTILITY IS WAY BETTER THAN THIS PLACE COULD EVERY HOPE TO BE.
Alyssa Hale: Worst Doctors office I've been too. Don't expect to ACTUALLY see your doctor here. Nurses will do your ultrasounds, which means they miss if you have a polyp acting as an IUD AFTER you've done many rounds of the expensive IUI treatments. Also whoever does your ultrasound you have to actually tell them why you're there because they won't look at your chart before seeing you. Requesting to actually see your doctor in office won't get you anywhere, you have to wait til he/she can call you so there's another 100$ for a less than 5 minute phone call. Medicine doses will change randomly without even consulting patient.P.s. Don't offer military discount anymore, if you are like me and didn't even get a heads up.
Jade Reilly: We had a wonderful experience with Carolina Conceptions! Dr. Park and all of the staff were extremely kind and professional throughout our entire time working with his team. We will be forever grateful for the family we created with their help!
Olivia Blankenmyer: They are one of the best in this area. The doctors and staff I worked with were professional, efficient, and knowledgeable. My doctor Dr. Park is extremely patient and listens to your needs. He is also one of the endocrinologists with a 5-star review in the United Health Database. I just graduated from the clinic and I look forward to working with them again in the future.
Shelly Freeman: I had a consultation with Carolina Conceptions before we were ready to start trying due to a medical condition that causes fertility challenges. At the time I just wanted to know my options. I was advised to lose 12 pounds to be in the optimal weight range and told that would help the frequency of my ovulation (they did no bloodwork to know if I was ovulating or not). Fast forward to a year later, covid started, I hadn't lost the weight. Given that it was 12 pounds I didn't think that was a deal breaker. I had a second appointment to start the process and was told that their clinic policy was to not work with patients over a certain bmi. This was my first time hearing this. I was told that people in larger bodies are more likely go have high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, etc. While that may be true I have none of those things. When I discussed with the Dr. that those were the statistics, but I, as the patient didn't have them she told me it didn't matter because it was clinic policy. She said that it was less likely I would be able to carry a baby to term based on stats for health conditions (again, none of which I have). I have since undergone IVF with Duke Fertility and have a healthy baby. Carolina Conceptions has this policy in place to bolster their live birth stats. If a clinic only takes "easy" patients then they will be less likely to have issues. I would ask the clinic make this policy public so patients don't waste their time and money meeting with doctors who have no intention of treating them. This practice does not support health at every size. If you or your partner is in a larger body or if equitable healthcare is important to you look elsewhere.
Jesseca Taylor: My review is not on the doctors' care because I never got see them. In Spring 2020, my OB sent a referral to them. I was contacted so after by "Tina" (I think that was her name). She was very thorough. We decided to postpone an initial visit due to covid. In August 2020, I called and spoke with someone in scheduling. She said I needed to fill out paperwork before she could schedule an appointment. I never received the email with the paperwork. I found out a few days later that I was pregnant, so I didn't need an appointment anyway. Fast forward to October/November 2021, my provider sent a referral to have a procedure done at this clinic. I followed up via phone call, and I was sent forms to fill out via email. After completing the paperwork, I also emailed and followed by phone (left a voicemail) because I never heard from anyone, and I needed to have the procedure at a specific time. Based on a lack of follow-up from administration, I would not recommend them unless you have time to waste.
Rachel Carpenter: My husband and I received excellent care at Carolina Conceptions throughout our journey with infertility. The doctors, nurses, billing, and administrative staff were all very responsive and helpful with any and all questions in a very timely manner. Dr. Park was very caring, straightforward, and made sure to educate us about all of our options along the way. We just welcomed our son and will never be able to express how thankful we are to this clinic!
Taylor Garner: Carolina Conceptions has done a great job managing my off-site FET cycle with a facility out of state. The staff has been accommodating and kind. In the beginning, I left an unfavorable review out of frustration and not giving them a chance to change. After working with Carolina Conceptions for close to 6 months, I am certain that my initial experience wasn't a true reflection of this practice. I recommend them for anyone on this journey.

Atlantic Reproductive Medicine Specialists: what do users think?
Shiana Humphrey: Dr. Copeland is great. Otherwise I have not had a great experience. Scheduling has improved now that I can text to schedule, sometimes they do not text back but that seems to be improving. Otherwise the primary form of communication after talking to the Dr is through the portal scheduling next steps, but the replies you get on the portal give different messages from what the Dr said. So you really have to be a self advocate and know your own treatment plan in and out otherwise I feel like you may get misdirected/misscheduled/or not scheduled at all bc no one replies to you. And because windows are so specific that you need to be seen, you may end up waiting an entire month.
Ronny Hase: Very Bad Website
Chenel Askew: I'm sure the doctors may be wonderful or so I was told. We were referred here and I had one consultation in the fall. After reviewing other clinics in the area, I came back to Atlantic in March and was told that I'd need to set another consultation instead of being able to move forward as an existing patient. Well I specifically asked for an in-person office visit as my first consultation was virtual and was not exactly a memorable experience. I even visited the office a few weeks prior to make sure that another consultation was really needed instead of an appointment with the doctor. The front desk staff told me to speak with Dr. Peavy's Clent, I believe her name was Ivy. She confirmed that indeed I needed a new consultation and that my appointment was in person on April 4th. Fast forward to April 4th and the day before I received my appointment confirmation for a VIRTUAL consultation. I tried calling to let them know that I was expecting to come to the office but could not get through. They literally NEVER answer their phone calls and certainly NEVER return phone calls within the same day as they claim. I was left not sure of what to do so I logged on a few minutes early and after 10 minutes, no one was on the call. I sent a message to the clinic via their portal fearing that I'd miss the appointment with Dr. Peavy so I immediately drove to the office and arrived at 12:10. My appointment was supposed to be from 11:30 to 12:30. I notified the front desk of what I was experience and said someone would be right out to see me. At 12:30, Ivy comes into the empty lobby to tell me that I missed my appointment and would need to reschedule. I explained that we had logged on and didn't see the doctor. Then I reminded her that the appointment was botched from the 1st place because I had CONFIRMED an in-person appointment with HER. She lied and said she didn't work the front desk until I reminded her that I had stopped by one afternoon and directly spoke to her and then she admitted that it was indeed her. I could handle that they made a mistake but Ivy's attitude was the worst. I said that for the money that people are about the spend there, it seems that they'd be better served seeking assistance elsewhere to which she shrugged her shoulders and said then go somewhere else then. She insisted that I should have called and left a message and when I pointed out that I did call and sent messages she made no effort to help deescalate the scenario at all. She insisted that Dr. Peavy had called me twice during my appointment which doesn't make sense as I my husband and I were both in the virtual invite. If indeed Dr. Peavy had tried calling, she could have sent me a response via the portal or even sent me a text message or email to let me know that she was trying to connect with me. So we took Ivy's advice and went elsewhere and are scheduled for our IVF next month. Administratively, this was a subpar medical experience. I sent a message through my portal and even requested another appointment in the aftermath and still never heard back from their clinic. They must have taken on too many clients too quickly or something because they completely lack the ability to properly schedule and clients or even provide decent service. With everything you'd have to go through for IVF and with a staff, I’d suggest going elsewhere where they can actually give a damn about their patients.
Samantha Wears: Dr Peavey and Dr Coward have been amazing to work with and we feel very confident that we will have a positive outcome due to their guidance through a stressful process. They are both very knowledgeable and great at what they do. We are so thankful to have found them!
Glenn Waldroup: I was referred to Atlantic to see Dr. Coward. Everyone was very friendly and professional. The procedure went as smoothly and quickly as described in the consultation.I have already referred multiple friends who are considering the procedure to Atlantic.Thank you
Hemal Patel: its very nice
keyuriben patel: It’s very nice staff and doctor
munyaradzi murombedzi: Friendly, professional and knowledgeable staff, clean environment.
Rachel Macrone: Clinically, the team at Atlantic is wonderful! Dr. Peavey was our physician and we loved her and the nursing team!Unfortunately, as previous reviews mention, the administrative side of things, specifically finance, is such a mess that it sours the entire experience. Patti and her daughter, Izzy, are the two members of the financial team. They are unresponsive for weeks at a time, forcing you to then make quick decisions before beginning cycles. Their non-responsiveness leaves you little time to work out things with insurance, line up your own expenses, etc. Unless you're planning to do a 3-cycle plan and not have to involve finance after the initial payment, I do not recommend this clinic.
The three Stars: We are so pleased with our experience at Atlantic Reproductive Medicine Specialist and highly recommend Dr. Copland, Dr. Peavey, and their staff. They are calm, competent, and available when needed for help outside of appointments. They are very compassionate doctors. They truly get to know each of their patients and seem genuinely invested in their well-being. the words "thank you" do not seem adequate to cover the feelings of gratitude my husband and I feel towards you all. You and your staff were the most caring, empathetic, and sincere support team we could have asked for during such a difficult time in our lives. You guided us through the most stressful and important journey of our lives, and we knew that, under your diligent care, everything would be okay! The work you all do every day literally changes the lives of people like us forever. We feel so blessed to have found you and just wanted you to know that we are eternally grateful... and we can't wait to do it all again! Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts. We'll be seeing you soon!
Kristin Gaskin: My experience at Atlantic Reproductive, from start to finish (when I "graduated" from their care with my current pregnancy), was exceptional, thoughtful and thorough. I was fortunate enough to benefit from the care of Dr. Walmer, Dr. Peavey, and Dr. Copland and with each interaction I felt I was receiving expert care and knowledge and being set up for my best chance of success. They were readily available to answer questions at all times. Scheduling appointments was never a challenge and the Nurse Practitioners were also phenomenal. Dr. Peavey performed my two procedures and I feel so fortunate to have had her compassionate hand guiding those. Dr. Walmer and Dr. Copland truly made me feel I was working with top of the line experts. Since graduating from the program, I've found myself missing their care and my regular appointments there, but I'm so grateful for the outcome they made possible. I will recommend them to anyone finding themselves in need of fertility care.
Kelsie Rosenlund: I have to agree with many of the reviews I am seeing on here. Medical care providers are AMAZING but the office management side of things has room to grow. Considering the nature of this practice I would expect higher standards for office staff. If someone is seeking care here they are excited and possibly have faced years of heartache preceding contacting ARMS. It shouldn’t be acceptable for it to take two weeks to receive a 3 sentence response via email. Especially when I receive an response from healthcare staff usually within an hour on the portal. Unfortunately, I know how busy all IVF offices are at this time; not to mention I have completed all the preliminary requirements…otherwise I might consider shopping around a little more. The amazing care the medical staff provides does balance out the lacking office management, but I would love to see ARMS just be a great experience all around since their purpose is to provide excited families with a child.
Stephanie Roma: We had a great experience at this clinic. Doctor Coward was an amazing and kind surgeon for my husband. Doctor Peavey was always kind and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Could not recommend this clinic enough.
Shwetha: Update: I am happy to share that our ivf was successful this time and I now have a healthy 5month old baby . All thanks to Dr. Walmer for not giving up.I have only nice things to say about Atlantic and Dr. Walmer. Visiting them for last 2 years, I did conceive through IVF 2 times but ended with miscarriage. We are trying different approach this time and I trust the doctors here to make it happen this time . I definitely recommend this clinic to others.
shanaynay: Never got pregnant and tried to make a new appointment with new insurance and they never called me back. They want you to call your insurance and then call them because they can’t wait on hold.
Michelle Forrest: I was originally a patient with Atlantic back in 2015 but had to take an extended break due to spouse illness. We resumed care in 2020 and Dr.Copland picked up right where we left off. Labs, in clinic tests and ultrasounds are all done efficiently and according to protocol. Correspondence through my patient portal was always reliable with a clinic nurse. After a recommended myomectomy to remove a fibroid I was able to pursue IVF with double donor at age 45 and was successful on the first attempt. The actual day of embryo transfer went exactly according to plan! We now have a sweet little boy thanks to Dr. Copland and her team!
Ron Bolen: Personal details, compassionate. Helps you every way through the process
Maegan Ammons: Dr. Peavey has been so wonderful to us during our IVF journey. The financial team seems to be a little understaffed, so we have had issues with knowing our financial responsibilities up front. The clinical side has been amazing and supportive though.
Emiiilly: I really recommended this clinic to those who want to have a baby through assistive technology. Before I decided to choose Atlantic fertility, I had compared other top-ranked fertility clinics. The doctors, nurses, and clinic environment made me feel very comfortable. After the second visit, I was very determined to choose this group. Yes, it's the best one for me and my family. All the doctors and nurses are very professional and attentive. My doctor, Dr. Peavey, made me a treatment plan that overall followed my medical condition and respected my personal opinion based on her experiences. When I have any confusion or questions in the process, I can get solutions and suggestions in time, including my medications instruction, financial payment, or urgent problems. Now, I'm successfully pregnant. Thanks to Dr. Peavey, Dr. Walmer, the IVF lab team, and all nurses and staff at Atlantic Reproductive Medicine! Hopefully more and more people would know about this wonderful clinic and meet this great group!
Lalai Riquelme: We very much enjoyed working with Atlantic Reproductive. Both doctor Peavy and doctor Coward are extremely knowledgeable and professional. We felt/ feel confident working with the team they have built at Atlantic Reproductive and think you will too.

Duke Fertility Center: what do users think?
Kendrick Gonzalez: Money is their priority. Run!!!!
M Stokes: Amazing staff, we had a wonderful experience with a knowledgeable and compassionate staff. Highly recommend this clinic.
david goldberg: Still waiting three months after we were done with this place for our money for charges for services not rendered, after the procedure didn’t work and they provided no explanation to my significant other Just let her twist in the wind for over a week without even a phone call
Amanda Moore: Waited months for an appointment they called one month before told me it was telehealth or I had to wait another 3 months to be seen in person. If you read the reviews and get excited because the doctors are good don’t get your hopes up. Their practice managers and nurses are not sympathetic won’t address your concerns and will not help you look for alternatives when they essentially cancel your appointment. Please look elsewhere if you want to save yourself the worry and trouble.
rushfd69: More concerned about their stats to turn a profit versus helping people have families. I was told I was 3 months past their "deadline" and "donor egg" or look elsewhere. Even more so, all of my care is fully covered, so they wouldn't even have to worry about getting paid. I don't want to be a surrogate to a child my husband is having with someone else.
Laure Laura: I highly recommend Dr Price. He is very patient, knowledgeable and very carrying. He takes time to explain things.
Marie S: I tried to have low expectations but still felt disappointed at the first consult. Several OBGYNs had blown me off perviously and just kept referring me to a fertility center assuring me that's where I would get more answers/information/options. I was surprised how little even a fertility center seemed to take an interest in our situation. There were hardly any questions asked about our medical history. We got no suggestions on anything we could try as far as supplements or additional bloodwork or options to try on a next pregnancy.I had done a lot of research in preparation for this visit - within the first 5 minutes, I could tell this wasn't really going anywhere. I kept asking questions anyway, and just kept getting the same answers: "I am not familiar with that" or "There's not enough data to support that". It was disappointing there was just blanket statements of "there's no research for that" even though I had found many peer reviewed studies to suggest there may be benefits in trying x, y, z or at least the possibility of a correlation. The doctor showed no interest in any of that. When I made the appointment, the front desk assured me that these doctors were up on the research and were active in the university - and I was severely disappointed especially with this aspect of the visit.Obviously after waiting 2 months for this appointment and the emotional heaviness of the situation, it's frustrating to walk away with not much more than I had walking in. I left with the impression that this is not a center designed to have a team part of your TTC journey - it does not seem like they would help you monitor anything or offer any interventions (all my questions got "no" for an answer) - it seems mainly a system designed to solely get you on IVF without trying anything else beforehand. Any other things discussed in the appointment were things I had researched beforehand and had to bring up to ask about (which all got rejected).I even asked several times, "this is all you can offer.. I'm not really leaving with any suggestions here". (The ONE suggestion the doctor offered is something that I had already discussed with two different obgyns previously several months ago. If I had wanted that procedure, I could have done that awhile ago without this center. So they didn't offer me anything new or different.) On my way out, the front desk still tried to get me to schedule a 6-8 week follow up. What I would exactly be "following up on", I'm not sure.I was expecting very little, yet still hoped for something, and left with absolutely nothing. To be fair: the new facility is very clean and pretty. The front desk staff were very kind and polite and actually very welcoming. The nurse was very friendly was well. But I came for a bit more than that..How I can wait 2 months for an appointment, see a "specialist" in this area, and leave with absolutely nothing new -- is just mind-blowing to me.
Cee Emm: I'm updating this review after further treatment. We were with Duke Fertility for two years total; our experience in the second year was terrific. This may have been because we'd become more experienced patients; however, I feel like the level of care and follow-up (and physician contact) in 2022 improved.Old review (old location):You absolutely spend a lot of time with the nurses and have to be your own advocate (and specifically request to see your physician - it can be quite a wait to talk to a doctor) but unlike UNC they will TELL YOU HOW MUCH PROCEDURES COST if you can get their financial counselors on the phone. It's sad that that's currently my high bar - in any sane universe there would be public price sheets for self-pay procedures - but at least they'll tell you if you ask.
Jamie Schatz: Could not disagree more with the low rating of this facility. Duke Fertility deserves 5 stars! I've been with Duke Fertility for a full year and every aspect of my time with them has been wonderful. The staff is incredibly kind and responsive. The new facility is beautiful. The communication is always timely and thorough. The resources provided - from financial assistance, to mental care, to med prep, to insurance coverage - are above par. I felt truly seen and cared for as a person with unique circumstances instead of just another numbered patient. Dr. Acharya, Nurse Ashley, and Nurse Kim took exceptional care of me and I will highly recommend this facility to everyone I know seeking fertility care. Thank you, Duke Fertility Center!
atypicalnguyen: 1. Insensitive and arrogant. Yes, the nurses are arrogant. These poor women and myself who have experienced fertility issues have to experience the lack of empathy from the healthcare providers at this fertility center.2. Provide no background information about your treatment. No information about logistics and process. Just gives you a bunch of videos to review. You'll find yourself asking questions and getting frustrated.3. All calls go through voicemail. Little to no interaction with actual doctors.
sunny afternoon: This is a teaching clinic. Most of your procedures will be done by fellows. Your case is not responsible by a certain dr. You will be welcomed by the doctors but once you started you have very few chances to see your dr. So fellow is important but their information are not on the website and no review or record you can trace. Do not use Jessica. She has heavy hand but she does not care. I had 3D image with her and was so painful that I still remember now after it was done 1 year ago. Today, unfortunately my IUI was done by her again even though I requested an attending a couple times. Jessica did it with 40 minutes delay and told me the timing was not important. I searched online and there were research showing the time between sperm collection and IUI makes difference. Also the training of the professionals are needed. I could not get my blood drawn two days ago. Both the nurse and the fellow could not make it. I have no trouble with other clinics before. Very frustrated. The nurses are caring and responsible, the doctor I see is great but I wish I could be under her care not the fellow.
Amanda Barnett: I have been going here on/off for 4 years. I have a long history at Duke Fertility only because I didn't want to start with IVF and started out with less expensive/invasive options. The nurses are AMAZING and the Dr.'s are the most up to date on the research. Amy and the nurses have worked late hours and through the lunch hours to help me with financing or set me up with calendar/ special script requests. What I will say for those who left poor reviews is that it seemed they had expectations they would get a lot of time with their primary doctor. Frankly, the only area I could see being improved is addressing how care works in the clinic. The doctors are responsible to review the case, consult with patents/review history, create the plan of care, oversee the progress, do the implant procedures or egg extraction procedures (if doing IVF), or biopsys. You will work VERY closely with the nurses because they are the SUPERSTARS that tell you about the medication increases, the schedule of medicine and other important details. My nurse has singlehandedly gone out of her way to make sure I was injecting myself correctly, I had the proper tools and frankly cares deeply about her work. Dr. Price is VERY responsive on duke mychart and responds with any concerns and questions I have. I will also add that there are amazing support groups here for pregnancy loss. I highly recommend coming here if you are open to working with AMAZING nurses and Dr.'s who are up to date on the latest research. Also, I will add I'm successfully pregnant doing IVF. I am beyond thankful for this clinic and the staff!
Melissa Barnett: I was referred to Duke Fertility by my OBGYN. My first appointment with Dr. Price was via telehealth. He was knowledge, but blunt. He didn’t beat around the bush which was greatly appreciated it. He scheduled me blood work and an ultrasound. I have a severe needle phobia. I didn’t sleep the week before my appointment because of my anxiety. I paced the whole day of my appointment. I get to the clinic and freak out about the blood work. The staff was AMAZING. They took their time and made sure I was relaxed. Once I was relaxed Constance drew my blood and i didn’t feel a thing. She drew it on the first try.I have had multiple experiences calling this clinic for appointments and financial quotes. Everyone has replied quickly. I haven’t run into any issues. The google reviews for this place at not what I expected. Some of the reviews less than favorable. I highly suggest going to DF and making your own opinions. The care I received amazing and delivered with the upmost professionalism.
Stephanie Farmer: Stay away from Duke Fertility! Every negative review is 100% accurate. This clinic is poorly run, communication is terrible and after your initial consult, you are relegated to seeing fellows and have minimal MyChart based interactions with your doctor. I was here for over 6 months and saw my personal doctor one time. When a call delivering bad news had to be made, a fellow (who fumbled over her words and was incredibly insensitive and unable to answer my questions) delivered it, not my doctor. Dr. Acharya was wonderful, compassionate and helpful, however seeing her one time in 6 months is unacceptable. At Duke Fertility you are literally a number in the rotation of 3 different fellows who don’t know your name or situation. I did see Dr. Steiner for one visit and found her to be incredibly dismissive, rude and unprofessional. After two failed IUI’s I am transferring elsewhere to continue my treatment. If you want to receive compassionate and informed care, look elsewhere!
P G: stay away from Dr. Steiner - shares bad news through lab values and a duke message instead of speaking with you at your appointment and sharing your diagnosis. Very impersonal especially during a vulnerable time in your life. Praying for compassion
Usman Ahmad: I stert our first cycle it was very bad experience we lost money like 20000 thousand and thay uncompete our cycle when our cycle is stopped at middle after that thay don’t receiving callI call several time at appointment number at nursing’s number and also send voice messages but no body call backBe careful about duke fertility center
Micaela Laporte: The place is clean and quiet. Front staff were nice. People seem to have masks on, but one of the nurses had a wornout basic surgeon mask on with the mask weave flaking out while others have newer masks. This is confusing. They had no covid practices in place. They did provide an sanitizing pump at the door and everything is as regular business.
Erin Elizabeth Mac: I can’t say enough about the staff here. From the front desk, to the nurses, doctors and phlebotomists as well, everyone there genuinely cares and has compassion. I had come to Duke Fertility after almost a year of failed medicated cycles and ovarian cyst removal/laparoscopic surgery. Dr. Eaton eased my anxiety during the first visit. I proceeded to have 5 failed IUI cycles (they recommended 3 for me but I wasn’t quite ready for IVF and wanted to try 2 more). When we finally decided to proceed with IVF, they walked me through the whole process and were extremely detail oriented, and really helped us understand the process. I was very nervous about the egg retrieval since I’ve had problems with procedures and sedation in the past, but they really put me at ease and are a well oiled machine there. Our little boy is due in September via IVF and we couldn’t be more grateful to the staff at Duke Fertility!
Samantha Rieger: After two years, 10 cycles, 1 miscarriage and DNC, we finally decided to switch to IVF. Sent all our info to the financial counselor. No one ever called us. Left countless voicemails and emails without response. We finally just switched clinics (with better communication) and now DFC is saying I owe money without anyone ever contacting me back again leaving countless voicemails and emails. Duke billing says I have to talk to someone from DFC but good luck getting them to call me back. Thanks for sending it to collections and hurting my credit.
Anonymous GIRLLOVINGJESUS: We love Duke Fertility Center. They went above and beyond for us. We went here after trying another place that was rude and insensitive to our fertility issues. We were nervous as going thru IVF seemed so scary, but Duke was so supportive. Drs and nurses always return phone calls and answer questions with confidence. Dr. Muasher was wonderful and very caring. He even told us he would pray for us when they were afraid that I was at risk for losing my oldest child. We had to do 2 IVF retrievals and 3 transfers before I finally got pregnant but we now have a 4 year old and a 12 week old as a result of our last retrieval and last 2 transfers. I am hoping to have one more child in the next 2 to 3 years if God allows it and will definitely use Duke again. I actually have an appointment with Dr. Eaton in a couple of weeks to discuss egg retrieval for freezing so they will be available when I am ready as I am almost 41 and am afraid I won't have any eggs available if I wait until we are ready to transfer. Dr. Eaton did my surgery to remove my tubes and I have no complaints on that either.
Christina Barksdale: Dr. Hurd, Dr. Price, Dr. Muasher and Dr. Smeltzer are all wonderful. Kind and caring nurses and office staff. I would give the entire office an A++

LeeAnn Moffitt: Dr. Johnson and her appointment/insurance coordinator were amazing! I highly recommend seeing Dr. Johnson, as she makes the patient feel cared about and truly takes the time to listen to needs. A Personal Choice Tubal Reversal Center: what do users think?
Chelse Zeiss: I did so much research on this place, read every review online and Google. Went threw the countless testimonies and ultimately decide to give Dr. Monteith and his staff a shot. We are beyond pleased with our results and care. Highly suggest A Personal Choice Tubal Reversal for anyone wanting a chance at becoming pregnant again or to remove the pain from a tubal ligation.
Arleen Zabala: Our( My husband and I) experience without doubt has been the best experience we have ever had at a Doctor's Office. All the process from contacting the office the first time, completing every step, meeting the doctor and nurses, the detailed explanations, surgery and post surgery visit; all of it ran smoothly. I felt such confident about choosing Dr. Monteith to be my tubal reversal doctor. He and the nurses explained everything in detailed and more than once. Dr. Monteith makes you feel confident about trusting him with the surgery. Nurses are great as well. I just had surgery last thursday and It was a great experience. We cant wait to have our positive result!!
Sara Willmert: We were very pleased with the entire experience. The staff was wonderful to us, as well as Dr. Montieth. It was a very easy process from start to finish. They give you all the information you need right away and are very quick and honest with any questions or concerns you may have. There office is very welcoming and I felt safe and secure in their care. We were blessed with a baby girl May 8th of 2023! We HIGHLY recommend Dr. Montieth if you are looking for a reversal!
Sj Enoch: Choosing a personal choice was the best decision my husband and I made. Dr. Monteith and his staff are absolutely wonderful. My procedure was successful and my recovery has been smooth. I can't say enough about how wonderful my experience was. Thank you all!
Lauren Morton: Couldn’t recommend a better clinic! They walk you through everything thoroughly, address any concerns you may have and make the process a breeze. I was treated with the utmost respect and am so grateful to Dr. Monteith and his team! 10/10, from start to finish!
Sara Encarnacion: Best experience ever I have my reversal in October 2021 and the last February 12 2023 I have my bby boy jaycob ...the best doctor
Sara Spoon: My experience was so much better than I expected it to be. Dr. Monteith and his staff are simply amazing. They put me at ease and made my experience better than I could have ever expected. The surgery itself was so easy and the recovery will be even better as they gave me all the information I needed to recover and have a positive outcome.
Ashley Marsh: ❤️Monteith Miracle Maker!!❤️In June 2015, I knew I was making the worst decision of my life. Getting a tubal ligation after my 3rd son at the young age of 23 years old. I had a lot of bad thoughts about it, but felt pressured into doing it by family..almost as if I didn't do it, my family wouldn't help me. Needless to say, I felt like my ability to be a woman was stripped from me thereafter! Initially, I was a woman who never knew my cycle was coming without a period tracker on my phone. After my ligation, I had cramps that felt like labor pains. I also didn't care for sexual activity..after all, I didn't work like a normal woman anymore anyway! I became depressed, sad, all around upset by the decision I had made. I saw my OB, who advised me I was experiencing PTLS. She gave me 2 options. Reversal or hysterectomy. I started researching Monteith, and I felt connected to him in so many ways, just by watching his YouTube videos. Fast forward to surgery day.. 04/26/23.. I was a nervous wreck! But I couldn't be more thankful than to have such a caring, compassionate doctor. Not only does he help..he listens! Both tubes were repaired with 10 cm on both sides! I am looking forward to being able to share baby news very soon! Doctor Monteith, you are AMAZING! Bluzette, thank you for being a great pre-op/recovery nurse! Also, special thanks to everyone else for the numerous questions I had! You guys are an amazing team! If i could recommend Dr. Monteith a million times, I would! I have NEVER felt cared for by any doctor more than I was by this doctor! I am so proud that my husband and I chose Monteith to help make our dreams come true!
marie Richardson: Pregnant just 3 months after reversal of burned tubes. The staff and entire process was amazing
Britanny Tea: My boyfriend and I did every bit of research, saw countless other specialists, and endometrial doctors, and even went through an IVF process…then we drove up to Raleigh North Carolina and placed our pin on Dr. Monteith's map and something felt so right. I had my surgery with no complications, even after having a major surgery only months prior my body healed very well and kept strong throughout the process. The staff was very friendly and helpful from the first moment I made contact to learn more and I believe her name was Mary - she helped me through all of the anxiety attacks before I even stepped foot in the office. They easily walked me through the long-distance paperwork process, the lab work, the pre-payment, the travel and accommodations, and everything else needed to make the process go as smoothly as possible. I still feel truly blessed to have met this group of people.Once we got into Raleigh and I had my first appointment to meet Dr. Monteith and the staff, we knew we were in good hands immediately. Also, the Christmas tree was amazing! Anyway, My surgery was the first week in December and it was quick, professional, and easy. I arrived at about 8:30 AM and left at like noon. My after-care instructions were very clearly covered and my boyfriend was included in every step. Honestly, Dr. Monteith saved my life. Yes, medically it was that dramatic. Mentally it was much more dramatic but he didn’t say any bs he was straightforward and polite and I respect that over it all. I highly recommend A Personal Choice for anyone, man or woman, pursuing any of the fertility services they offer, trust me…I spent A LOT of time and money elsewhere…I WISH I would have found Dr. Monteith first.
Monika Haring: This was the most positive experience I have ever had in a medical setting. Dr. Monteith and everyone on his staff are kind, compassionate, and really make you feel like they care. Every possible detail of patient comfort is taken care of. They also make sure in advance you know exactly what the procedure entails and what your likely odds are so you can make an informed Personal Choice. If the comprehensive information provided isn't enough, they are incredibly approachable with any questions, and respond more quickly than I thought possible. Everything is put forward simply, in plain English, without confusing medical jargon. To anyone considering reversal: you will be in the best of hands here. I could not be happier with my choice to visit A Personal Choice.
Shaketta Nesmith: Thank you Dr. Monteith and staff, choosing A Personal Choice, was the best decision I have made. If I could rate you a million stars I would, you guys are freaking awesome! I would definitely recommend you to family and friends. I look forward to sharing my journey with you in the near future. Thank you again :-)
Brittany Lyon: Absolutely wonderful! The staff far exceeded my expectations!! If you are considering a tubal or vasectomy reversal I highly recommend you go see Dr. Charles Montieth!!
Edith andrade: Had my surgery march 30 best experience ever the staff is so nice and caring so is the doctor there was even a staff member named Oscar that translated for my husband to make sure he was included in every step of the way and understood everything best decision ever!
Marilyn Nieves: We had a great experience, everyone was super friendly and welcoming. Thanks to Dr.Monteith we have our miracle/rainbow baby!☺️❤️Marilyn and David
Kyle Davis: I just had TR surgery with Dr. Monteith due to a Titanium allergy from the filshie clips used in my tubal ligation. He is an excellent doctor. Very skilled. We highly recommend him and his team. They are all so kind and down to earth. They gave us the best care before and after surgery. If you're considering tubal reversal to have more children or to be relieved of PTLS or other symptoms, we highly recommend Dr. Monteith at A personal choice in Raleigh, NC. We can't thank them enough.Kyle and Samantha Davis
Sarah Greene: I had my reversal in June 2021 and had my reversal baby in March 2022. Dr. Monteith and his staff are so honest and helpful. If you need to call for anything, they are always there, ready to help you. As soon as I walked into the center, all my nerves were gone. Dr. Monteith walks you through everything so you know what to expect and answers any last questions you may have. Surgery went well. I had a cut and burned tubal reversal and one tube was able to be repaired. He has you go back the next day for your post op and goes over all details, how you're doing, and again answers any questions you have. If you want a reversal, I recommend Dr. Monteith 1000%. You won't find a better Dr!
Helena Mosiman: Dr. Charles Monteith and his staff were amazing. Dr. Monteith was very confident and definitely knew what he was talking about. Only my left tube could be repaired, but I know it was done by the best doctor that could've done it. Staff made us feel very welcomed and at ease. Answered all my questions and calmed my anxiety. I am two days post opp, and my husband and I are just waiting on our positive because Dr. Monteith gave us another shot ❤️
Bethany Yates: I must say that my overall experience during my surgery process was absolutely AMAZING! All of the staff are so friendly and caring, especially Dr Monteith, he is so down to earth, friendly, very well educated, and phenomenal at what he does. I would call him a miracle Dr. I had a lot of scar tissue around my ovaries and tubes, but my surgery was a success!!!! He repaired both tubes. So we are now trying to conceive, all thanks to Dr Monteith and his amazing staff!!!! I will forever recommend A Personal Choice to anyone wanting a tubal reversal!!!!!
Andromeda Quan: Our experience with Dr. Monteith and all the staff was absolutely wonderful. They were all so sweet and treated us with utmost care and explained step by step the surgery which was extremely helpful and put us at ease. My surgery went extremely smooth and I’m recuperating very well. Thank you so much
Na'omi Jo: I had Essure reversal done at A Personal Choice, I found them online over a year ago and probably like most; I was a little scared of the procedure as well as sending money to an un-known place. But I prayed about this for a year and I kept coming back to their website. I read all reviews and I liked how the the doctor responding sounded, his character was consistent and confident as well as kind.My husband and I decided to go for it and sent the money, which started the process. When we arived at A Personal Choice the office looked just like it did online which made me feel comfortable and a little less scared of the unfamiliar place. Every staff member smiled and seemed genuinely happy to be there, which was another HUGE comfort! The first nurse I saw (Blue) at first scared me a little, she was a little more stern but quickly I realized she cared very much for her job and her patients, she was very knowledgeable, informative and helpful plus incredibly kind! Waking up to her after surgery was comforting because her sterness shows she not gonna let anything go wrong if it's in her control.Dr. Monteith was never in a rush or made me feel like I was intruding on his time like doctors often do, he sat back in a chair at a round table, talked to me, listened to me, explained questions that he probably hears being asked all day every day as if it was the first time he'd heard it. I felt comfortable with him doing this surgery and very confident after meeting the surgery staff that I was in good hands. Everyone was so kind to both me and my Husband.Surgery moved fast, recovery was quick, there was no waiting around with anxiety in a waiting room, which helps. I am currently one week and two days after surgery and I'm feeling really well. Still sore and bruised but everything went well and recovery after isn't too horrible. After the first two days, every day just got better for me.My Husband and I look forward to adding to our family, now my biggest challenge is getting my husband to choose a better name than "Hank" if we have a boy. LoLI definitely recommend A Personal Choice! You won't regret it!

L G: We went to NCCRM after years of trying to get pregnant with no luck with the hopes of having a baby through IVF. I thoroughly enjoyed working with NCCRM. They were polite and timely and were always ready to answer any questions I had. The staff in the office and the doctors are amazing to work with. Highly recommend.
Shawn Gilley: Great drs.
Rica Williams: I cannot complain about any visits I’ve had. The staff is polite and professional. Due to my situation they were very accommodating. I highly recommend this practice.
Stephanie Concepcion: I had a tubal reversal in 02/2022 after having my tubes tied for 7 years. Dr. Toma and the staff made our experience as reassuring as possible. My husband and i are now expecting our son exactly one year later due 02/23. We found out we were expecting 3 months after my surgery. The Dr.’s and nurses, staff were great so friendly and caring we traveled from maryland and they were so welcoming and nice. Surgeon was very good also surgery went very well and scar is hardly noticeable. Would definitely recommend. We also used pre-seed fertility lubricant and one a day pre pregnancy vitamins for men and women to assist with conceiving which helped speed up the process very quickly, highly recommended. Overall wonderful experience. grateful we are able to experience a new joy!
Tametria Mcbennett: Awesome service..Waiting on my blessing.
Cassidy Foushee: Stephanie at the front desk is always so nice and professional. I enjoy seeing her when I come in for appointments!
Ravi Suvarna: great place
sarah johnson: Amazing office and staff! Every question was answered and even after 4wks post op they still answer my questions when i call/email.
Anashelvy Argueta: Un excelente servicio por parte de la señorita Stephanie, amable, bondadosa, carismática, un gran ser humano, estoy encantada con la ayuda que ella me brindó …
A Al: Dr Toma is a great dr. And his employees are extremely nice and polite. Appointments are very fast and easy to schedule and he also listens to his patients and make sure he helps them in any way to accomplish their dreams. I would recommend him to anyone that is looking forward to be treated there.
Eva Venecia Italia: People are kind ! And are willing to work with you !
Megan Dew: I truly didn't know how poorly I had been treated until transferring over to Duke. I was told anecdotally during my first appt after bloodwork that amh was low and i needed to take supplements (dr actually didnt tell me during our initial discussion in the treatment room then pulled me back for 2 min to tell me in the hallway). Had me do my injections in a totally different location and mix meds when my new clinic says no way and research doesnt support this. Communication was the worst, have to beg for a phone call back, Duke responds through their online patient portal within 2 hrs if you have any questions. My ivf cycle was started too late in my cycle (already had a single dominant egg growing), no antral follicle count was performed so they didn't understand I had only 4 active follicles and immediately jacked my meds up on day 4 to try to compensate for a 'poor reaponse' as a result. Zero bedside manner, when they canceled my cycle no empathy or explanation or support and talk of next steps. Don't do it... such a waste of thousands of dollars when their lack of care caused my cancelled cycle. Also, not LGBT friendly, the financial counselor told us we might have to go through psychological counseling prior to egg retrieval because we were gay... what?? Class action?
Lizzy Toler: These guys are so great! They really LISTEN to my needs and my husbands needs and that’s so hard to find these days at a doctor. I highly reccomend them!
J Bent: Best staff on earth! So caring and kind!!My daughter has beautiful twins! What a double blessing we never thought possible!!
Mashayra Ortiz: Great service and they will do the best to help you. Staff are wonderful and also the doctors
Anam Rasheed: This is very expensive clinic they are not sure what to do . They charge you 100% with chance of 20% get pregnancy. I did my ivf. I am not over weight my embryo was normal but could not stick we did genetic test everything still embryo didn’t stick. If they can not do what people want how they can charge too much. We can not afford another ivf they charge us $30000 with medicine not is cheap and easy. No guarantee while I have no medical issue. This is sucks. Waste my all money with no hope, happiness or success. I don’t recommend anyone.
Rickey Padgett: Extremely too long to wait for background checks when other companies deliver quicker and in a timely manner.
Allicyn Bryan: Hello, I spent over $10,000 on IVF with your company in 2018. The last communication I have received from you was to tell me to stop taking my medication because the transfer didn’t work. You had no concern if I had properly passed the embryos. There was no sympathy card, follow up via telephone or email. You made me feel like you had no care if my embryos died or how I was doing physically or mentally.FYI, six months later, I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and if IVF is not the blame, how dare you prescribe a cancer patient with estrogen. Since then I have lost my husband and any dream of having a family of my own. Shame on you for your uncompassionate work ethics and greed.
Monica Mann: Just went on 4/27/23 for tubal reversal. Every one was so nice and accommodating. Had a great experience and would recommend NCCRM for anyone wanting tubes reversed. Olivia my nurse was very nice and talked me through everything and helped if I needed anything. ❤️❤️so thankful and will update on any pregnancy announcements in the future.
Nicole Stanley: After a year of research, we felt that NCCRM was our best option and sure enough we made the right decision. On June 1, 2022, we traveled from VA to NC to have my TR. The staff was absolutely amazing and made me feel very comfortable. My nurse was Kelly and boy let me tell you she’s an AMERICAN SWEETHEART!!!! I was so nervous and started crying and she just gave me a big hug. My anesthesiologist and I were both from WV, and bless his heart to calm my nerves he played Country Roads right before putting me to sleep and Kelly just held my hand. Just that alone was worth our decision. My surgeon was amazing! He said everything looked beautiful and I should have no problems getting pregnant. I was left with 7cm and 6cm. I had 6 cycles within four months( June-September) one of those cycles was pretty bad but it was more of my body flushing itself out after not having a healthy cycle for 6 years after my TL. And we are so excited to announce that we found out Oct 7 that we are expecting our little girl this June. Thank you so much NCCRM and Dr.Toma!!!
courtney lujan: We had our tubal reversal in June 2022. The process went smooth (filshie clip removal, had them for 7 years) and recovery went better than expected. The staff was absolutely great from start to finish and Dr. Toma was an absolute delight.Exactly 6 months later we were expecting! We welcome our baby boy in early August 2023!!!
